lucky you were standing in the door frame hearing in the conversation not missing this beautiful moment between a father and son. “pablo amor put mateo down in his basket net and come and eat”you said as you went behind pablo hugging his waist.

“I don’t wanna leave him amor”he said “amor we have a babby monitor in our room so we’ll hear when he’s crying,or you can bring his basket net downstairs so he’ll be with us”you said he nodded with a smile handing you mateo as he brought his basket net down stairs.

the whole night gavi wouldn’t leave mateo’s side even when you were brest feeding him all gavi can do was stare at you both and admire the both of you.pablo even convinced you to let mateo sleep ontop of him. “but starting tomorrow we have to get into a routine”you said as gavi nodded in agreement.

Lola if you had to write and direct an episode of 911ls, what would you put in it?

Okay, friend. I've thought LONG AND HARD. and I come to you with this totally unhinged response. I'm also tagging @beautifulhigh because she asked me a similar question 💜

This would be a tripartite episode. I know LS always has a theme, but I've got absolutely no theme going on. Something about being cute, maybe. This episode is like the Lou one - fluffy filler because you KNOW Lone Star is a comedy.

Arc 1: The episode starts with the 126 getting called to a rescue in suburbia. The call is placed by a young girl, saying someone is stuck and they need help. EMS and fire rock up only to discover the "person" is a cat and the cat is stuck in a tree. Classic fire fighting story made funny. Marjan rescues the cat and brings it down from the tree, and hands it to TK while she brushes all the tree shit off her gear. TK (obviously) immediately falls in love with it. When he tries to give it to the little girl she looks at him confusedly and tells her it's not her cat - there's been a mix up and this cat LOOKS like her cat but is not her cat. For comedic effect, a similar cat strolls out of the little girls house at that very moment.

CUT TO BACK AT THE FIREHOUSE

Arc 2: They're all joking about the cat rescue over one of Paul's tasty lunches but TK is deep in thought - unsurprisingly, he can't stop thinking about the stray cat (it is now in a rescue). At lunch, Paul and Mateo get texts telling them they've been selected to appear in a hottest firefighters calendar. Paul is kinda ??? about it, Marjan is offended they didn't ask her even though she doesn't want to be in it and Mateo is wondering if he gets to be oiled up like a wrestler. Owen is understandably HIGHLY UPSET ABOUT THIS. specifically because he did not get asked. Judd is smirking at him.

(I think I would put in a scene where Owen grills TK about whether his skincare regime is no longer working and whether he's "past his prime" - TK is still thinking about the cat and has no time for this).

(I would also put in a scene where Owen goes to dinner at his best friend Judd's house and Grace and Judd die on the inside over how much Owen cares about not being asked to be in the calendar).

Arc 3: The 126 get a call out to a fire at a modelling agency. They're currently casting for a very high profile client, and suspect arson by a disgruntled rejected candidate who is still in the building. For reasons which I haven't come up with, it is determined that the culprit has to be one of the current set of rejected candidates. Carlos rocks up to interview the suspects as the 126 get the minor blaze under control and treat people for smoke inhalation. Paul is sent to help Carlos for the SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF HAVING INVESTIGATOR PAUL AND CARLOS TEAM UP. They're trying very hard to solve the mystery but unfortunately the models keep hitting on them, much to their dismay. Even though they're in the middle of a disaster, the head of the agency is asking Carlos to come in for a test shoot. Carlos is finding it very hard to do his job because TK keeps talking about a cat.

Eventually Paul and Carlos solve the mystery, apprehend the suspect and manage to escape with their wits intact. Paul decides to turn down the calendar offer based on this experience, unbeknownst to Owen. On the ride back to the station, Owen gets a text offering him a spot on the calendar and he is over the moon.

We end back at the Tarloft. TK is late coming home from work and Carlos assumes he has gone to a meeting. WRONG. TK walks in with the cat and begs on his hands and knees to keep it.

Carlos is immediately endeared. Lou II is disgruntled but TK insists they will learn to get along. The cat falls asleep in Carlos' lap on the sofa which TK is obsessed with, there's a cute scene of them being a cat family (maybe some cute kisses in there) and a light roasting of Carlos by TK for the modelling thing. At the end of the episode, Carlos puts the cat gently down on the end of the sofa and carries TK to bed because we deserve that.

Valentino was just as brave...escaping his homophobic home to live the life he deserved. It’s cool that he wasn’t seen as the cliche model-the self worshipping narcissist. The side characters storylines were just as impactful. Whether it was Joaquin Rosa-Death Cast’s creator; or Dalma Young-Orion’s program loving best friend; or Gloria Dario’s journey on escaping a loveless marriage with her son, they advanced the story as they tried to figure out how to map their own lives. I hope they’ll make a return in a future book. The first one to die at the end’s death wasn’t as heart tearing as I thought it would be. There’s definitely a different transitioning from the first Death Cast book, but again I still got teary eyed at Orion and Valentino’s short lived friendship turned to something more. I have to remember these two boys are NOT Mateo and Rufus. Overall, Orion made me smile and made my heart break at his parents deaths in 9/11 and I was in awe of Valentino as he broke out of his Catholic raised shell to be the person he dreamed of becoming. Hikaru is a very feminine guy

He’s considered a femboy to a lot of people

This is due to his love of makeup, fashion and his appearance in general

That being said having a femboy darling would make him pretty damn happy

Like not only are you pretty but he can dress you up?? Hell yeah

He just worries that you wouldn’t want him due to his feminine nature

Hikaru would be testing all his expensive make up and skin care products on you

He would be the reason your skin looks flawless

Due to Hikaru having a two faced personality he would treat you quite different in pubic vs in private

In public Hikaru is very focused on keeping his social status and public image nothing short of perfect

He calls you a dazzling star and expresses his deep support to anyone who will listen

He comes across as the overly happy boyfriend who just loves his partner so much that he is gushing over them every second

In private Hikaru is a pervert

He does adore your style but he also wants to see you tied up wearing only pretty lingerie and heels

He wants to put lipstick on you and test to see just how smear proof it is if you catch my drift

He finds you intoxicating to the point where he is always touching you and dressing you in the cutest and most expensive of clothes

He will definitely fill that sugar daddy role

Cause of him your closet would be stocked to the brim with any outfit you could desire

Theo is very conflicted with you

On one hand you’re the cutest thing in the world

But on the other you’re style makes him feel things that a Christian man like him should never feel

Puppy Love

“How was the movie?” Caleb’s mom asked as she pulled into their driveway.

“It was awesome!” Caleb’s best friend, Mateo answered, leaning forward in his chair to smile at Kensi. At 15, Mateo already had a reputation as a charmer. Usually he used his powers to get extended due dates on his homework or wheedle extra cookies out of his friends’ parents’. “Thanks for taking us, by the way.”

“Oh, it’s no problem.” Kensi caught Caleb’s eye in the rear view mirror and sighed a little. “In a few months you two will be thinking about getting your learner’s permits. And that is a truly terrifying thought.”

“I think we should be offended, Mat,” Caleb commented, earning a grin from his mom.

“Ok, I have to put some groceries away,” Kensi told them, tossing Caleb the house keys. “Then I’ll start on dinner.”

“I can help, Mrs. Deeks,” Mateo offered, hopping out to grab a handful of grocery totes. Caleb stared at him in confusion for a moment before joining Mateo.

He waited until they were in his room and then rounded on his friend. Mateo had already flopped on his bed, the TV controls in one hand, and a packet of candy from the theater in the other.

“Ok, what are you doing?” he demanded, standing in front of the TV to block Mateo’s view.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Mateo said innocently.

“You’re sucking up to my mom for some reason.”

“I’m just being friendly.”

“You told her you liked her painting of a dog that looks like a hippo and offered to week her garden,” Caleb reminded him dryly. “You’re my best friend, man, I know when you’re trying to get something.”

“I swear I’m not-”

Mateo cut himself short, hopping off the bed as Kensi knocked on the door jamb, appearing with a plate.

“I brought you guys some cookies and fruit to hold you over until dinner,” she explained, handing the plate to Caleb. “Unfortunately, someone forgot to take out the chicken so it’s going be a little bit of a wait. I asked Caleb’s dad to pick up pizza on his way back his meeting.”

“That’s alright, Mrs. Deeks,” Mateo assured her with a smile. “We ate during the movie, so I’m ok.”

They’d had popcorn and slushees, but nothing that Caleb would consider actual food. He didn’t call Mateo on it; maybe he just didn’t want to make his mom upset.

“Yeah, thanks mom,” he agreed, leaning to give her a quick hug. She brushed her fingers through his hair, tucking the long strands behind his ears. It had finally reached the same length his dad wore in college and he was extremely proud of it.

Kensi released him, automatically stopping to give Mateo a hug too. It was brief, but he froze completely. His mom released him, patting his shoulder as she left his room again.

“Make sure you two work on homework before dinner,” she added over her shoulder.

Mateo still hadn’t moved and now his cheeks were flushed a deep red underneath his tan skin.

“Are you blushing?” he asked, completely aghast as he realized the source of his friend’s strange behavior. If anything, Mateo’s face turned even redder.

“I’m sorry, Caleb, I can’t help it,” he apologized with a shrug.

“That’s my mom!” He waited, hoping that Mateo would laugh it off as some joke.

“I know! But she’s really nice. And let’s face it, she looks like a model.”

Making a face of pure disgust, Caleb held back a shudder. He was suddenly reminded of a few years back when a few of his girl friends had crushes on his dad. It was just as weird back then as it was now. God, it really sucked to have attractive parents sometimes.

“You know this is really creepy, right?” he asked and Mateo nodded.

“Kind of. It’s not like I can do anything about how I feel,” he pointed out. “It’s like when you had that crush on that senior girl.”

Groaning, Caleb closed his eyes, rubbing his forehead.

“It’s really not the same thing at all,” he muttered. “Ok, we’re going to forget this ever happened. From now on, no more hugging my mom and we’ll pretend this was all a bad dream.”

“Aw, but her hugs are the best,” Mateo protested. “It’s like being enveloped by a warm, really nice smelling cloud.”

“Ew. Again, this is my mom you’re talking about.”

“Fine, no more hugs, but can I still garden with her?”

“Somehow that’s even weirder,” Caleb said.

𝐂𝐈𝐑𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 ( open / closed ): “heard you out here on the rebound, bet you want me to put the d down.” MATEO and MUSE B have been on and off for awhile and though the two of them decided it was best to move on from each other and call it quits they still have a case of the ex. seeing each other with other people or potentially finding other people scares the both of them so sometimes they double back just to see if it’ll work between them ( yet there are so many reasons why it can’t. ) they still keep trying & “going in circles” so to speak. they need to let each other go and they will eventually.. maybe? idk.

𝐇𝐈𝐓 𝐃𝐈𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 ( open / closed ): “that shit hit different when we both faded.” sex is the only connection MATEO and MUSE B have ever had and probably will ever have. even worse, the only time they feel the need to be intimate with each other is when they are both drunk or high. there’s no doubt that the physical connection is there but unless they’re intoxicated, they pretty much act like the other doesn’t exist.

911 lone star characters as characters from the office

tk is andy bernard bc people pleaser - he can be a little high strung, and often finds himself rubbing people the wrong way with the way he carries himself. but those he’s close with see through the annoying little habits; he is someone who is kind, personable, and just wants to be friends with everyone. while he may vie for the attention of everyone around him, particularly the male role models in his life (...) it’s the people he keeps closest that mean the most to him.

paul is jim halpert mostly because of the observant thing - he is well aware of everything going on around him. even when he’s the only one who sees it. (just thinkin about paul giving a look to camera on one of the calls sksksksk) he also cares a lot about those close to him, but keeps that close group of people limited. he’s friendly with everyone, but not friends with everyone. he selects those he can trust, and is fine with just being friendly with everyone else.

marjan is pam beesley-halpert - she’s sweet and picks and chooses when she’s going to speak up (though i would argue marjan is more later seasons pam - you know after she really finds her voice, and all the office incel fans hate her :) but she’s also the best friend you will ever have. she cares so much about everyone around her, almost to a fault, but she’s definitely someone you want to have in your life.

mateo is dwight schrute and no no okay hear me out first - he can be annoying to those around him, like the brother that you don’t really want around. but he’s also fiercely loyal and cares about those around him. he would do anything to make the people he cares about happy, looks for admiration from those he admires.

tommy is phyllis lapin-vance bc mama bear - she cares a lot with the people she works with.., like a lot. they are her children and she just wants what’s best for them! she can be soft spoken but she also knows exactly when to speak her mind, and hold her ground.

judd is kevin malone bc teddy bear - he is just someone who you want to give a hug to. he is a good listener and an even better friend. having him around just brings a sense of happiness to the room.

michelle is meredith palmer bc life of the party - no seriously she is the person you want to go out with. had a rough day? she will totally go out with you and help you drown all your sorrows in liquor. she’s also a fantastic listener, and she also gives pretty good advice when drunk too. but the people in her life are really important, and she just wants whats best for them.

carlos is pete miller bc i said so - idk i’m running out of steam. he is kind and quiet and quite attractive. when he sees someone he has a connection with, he tries to bond with them, but also will swallow his feelings as long as it means the other person is happy.

grace is erin hannon bc bubbly personality - she has a way of making everyone around her instantly happy. her fun personality makes everyone around her want to be friends immediately. she is a great listener and enjoys the socialization of being with other people.

and finally,

owen is david wallace (he should be michael scott (bc ya know fire captain / branch manager) but that can’t happen... )- he’s here and he’s important and sometimes he’s not too bad but other times you’re just like oh okay... you’re here. that’s fine i guess? i mean you don’t hate him but also is he anyones favorite?

Favourite thing about them:

Probably her passion and excitement towards science. It's not only something she's good at but something that actually brings her joy and she wants to use her talents for good.

Least favourite thing about them:

How much she wanted to grow up. On one hand I understand that lots of kids want that so it's understandable but I just never liked it idea, not as a kid and not now.

Favourite line:

"We [get along] but only because I realized I don't need to be his best friend. I just need to get along with him well enough to do our work." It's basically the moral of this episode but it's also something I had to realize myself, so it means a lot.

BrOTP:

Elena, Esteban, her whole squad and something we sadly haven't seen in canon but Mateo

OTP:

Well, I wouldn't say OTP since I generally don't ship her with anyone but her and James from StF is quite cute.

Random headcanon:

She's awful when it comes to handicraft. She can make time models and machines for whole days and she draws beautifully but embroidery? Crocheting? Knitting? It's dark magic for her.

She also likes to make tiny models and mockups right now she's working on a tiny palace with Elena.

Unpopular opinion:

I don't like Heart of the Jaguar all that much. I mean, Alice in Wonderland episode? Great. Episode where Isa has to learn that being a princess means she has to take care of people as well? Fantastic. These two together? Eeeh... It wasn't terrible, I just think it could've been better.
