She is stressed about her Olympic tryout the following week and is hoping her sister can calm her fears and nerves. Reader kind of barges into her sister’s apartment with very bad timing catching Maya and Carina in a heated discussion which is a little triggering to R bc Lane is being terrible and placing all sorts of pressure in R. Maya and Carina help Reader calm down and feel better.

Y/N is running towards Maya and Carina’s house, having lost her car privileges, because according to her father, she needs to use every minute of her life to train for the Olympic tryouts. Even going to her sister’s house.
Her legs are screaming at her to stop, or even slow down her pace, but she can’t afford to slack off. She needs to be the best, just like her sister. You need to be more like your sister. Your sister was a lot more serious about this than you are. Did you know your sister has a gold metal from the Olympics? The sentences run through her head as she pushes herself to speed up on the last meters. Considering the way her father uses her sister’s success against her, it’d be easy to become bitter to her too, but Y/N loves her sister. Maya is her safe place. Has been since she was born.
Panting slightly, Y/N comes to a stop in front of Maya and Carina’s house. She does a few harsh knocks on the door, but decides to just open the door with an extra key she got from the couple. She steps inside and closes the door behind her, immediately hearing loud voices coming from the living room.
“Hello?” She calls out, not wanting to walk in on anything she shouldn’t be a part of, but no one seems to hear her. Y/N starts walking towards the shouting, her heartbeat fastening with every step.
“You know that isn’t how it works!” Maya’s loud voice boom through the house. “I can’t just-” the sentence gets cut off by a groan.
In the logical part of her brain, Y/N knows Maya is nothing like their father, but the way she sounds when angry is so similar to him. Her breath hitches as a bang comes from the living room. All the memories of Lane throwing something her way coming up. “Shit.” She mumbles, leaning against a wall to calm down.
“I can’t talk about this right now.” Carina sighs, walking out of the living room, but stopping the moment she sees Y/N in their house. “Maya!”
“What n- oh.” Maya stares at Y/N, instantly worried of her. “What are you doing here?” She sets her hand on her arm.
“I was just really stressed about the tryouts and dad, so I wanted to come here, but then you two were fighting and I didn’t know what to do, and I-“
“Hey, hey, hey,” Maya pulls her into an embrace, “it’s okay. You’re okay.” She rubs her back. “I’m sorry you heard that.”
“What did your father do?” Carina asks, also setting a hand on Y/N’s shoulder once she pulls away from the hug. Maya glances at her girlfriend at the question, but doesn’t comment on it.
Y/N shrugs, leaning to the touch. Ever since Maya started dating Carina, the Italian has become another safe place for her. “Telling me to train a lot, gives me no breaks, yells,” she hesitates for a moment, “sometimes he throws stuff.”
Maya and Carina look at each other, the latter has a look on her face that Y/N can’t decipher. It looks like the subject makes the couple tense. “Has anything hit you?” Y/N avoids eye contact at the question, which makes Maya ask it again, “has anything hit you? Are you hurt?”
“It’s not a big of a deal. He wants me to do well on the tryouts and get a gold medal like you did.”
Rubbing her forehead, Maya starts pacing. ”It is a big deal, honey.” Carina’s hand goes up to brush her hair. She has a worried look on her face. “He is abusive.”
“Carina.” Maya speaks up. “He just- he wants us to succeed. He is the reason I have my medal.”
“Don’t say that stuff in front of her.” Carina whispers, as if Y/N wouldn’t be able to hear her. “He is hurting your little sister, Maya. He hurt you. He is not a good father.” The conversation is starting to get heated again. Clearly this was the subject of their earlier fight too. “I know you don’t want to accept it yet, but you have to agree that she’d be better off with us.”
Y/N frowns. Were they talking about her? “We’ll talk about it later.” Maya mumbles, turning back to her sister, clearly ending the conversation. “Carina cooked some lasagna earlier today, you want some?”
“Dad said not to eat too much.”
Biting the inside of her cheek, Maya shakes her head and pulls Y/N to the kitchen. “Well, I say you eat some lasagna. And then the three of us can watch a movie, okay? You’ll sleep over this night.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.” Carina speaks up, having followed them to the kitchen. “We’ll paint our nails and do our hair, have a pillow fight,” she laughs, “all the things they do in those American films, right?”
“Okay.” Y/N nods with a smile, already feeling like a small weight has been lifted. She knows it’ll all come back when she goes back home, but for now, she’ll enjoy Maya and Carina’s company.

Twisted Promise AU (Coming Soon)
If Kate was asked what she wanted to be when she was ten years old, she would have replied that she wanted to be a superhero; just like Hawkeye. The world was bright and exciting as a child, especially when the Avengers existed. That’s how the young Bishop grew up, wide eyed and a naive sense of confidence. It was the blip that destroyed every ounce of hope for most people, and it shoved the once blindly optimistic Kate into reality. Her childhood idol was nowhere to be seen, seemingly hiding while the rest of his team fought against the most dangerous enemy to land on Earth’s soil.
She went to work for her mother at Bishop Security, uncovering her deal with Fisk accidentally. It should have bothered the once morally righteous young brunette to know what Eleanor was doing to make sure the business thrived, but for some reason she couldn’t find it in herself to care. Keeping her head down at the company, Kate got her work done and really only got close to Maya. The two bonded over being the youngest and having a lot of pressure put on them.
When tales about a dark hooded figure with a sword that was taking down organizations across the globe began to spread, Fisk began to spread his assets. Kate took an even larger step away from the spotlight in regards to the company, deciding to focus on college and her sports. Her mother was pleased by this, always wanting to protect her daughter.
The Avengers tried, one last time, to reverse the blip. It was a very public and violent fight that ultimately ended in failure. The entirety of public heroes were gone, dead, or rumor has it some are stuck in different universes and timelines. Society didn’t trust them anymore and there was no longer a need for them but the hooded swordsman came back. The Bishops weren’t worried until Kingpin was targeted.
When the Ronin showed up to the penthouse it was Kate that he came face to face with, shock filling his body when he realized she was just a kid. A young girl dressed in a hoodie with a flimsy looking sword attached to her hips, an incredibly innocent looking expression on her face. He was expecting Fisk, or at least his group of workers. His hesitation was his downfall as Kate used his second of doubt to disarm him. The young Bishop wasn’t the one to drop him to his knees though. No, that was Maya the silent accomplice to the young archer. Shooting him three times with a smile on her face; once in the knee, once in the torso, and once in the sternum.
Curiosity got the best of Kate as she unmasked the so called vigilante that had been wreaking havoc across the globe, and there bleeding out on her marble floors was her childhood hero Hawkeye. Clint Barton, the person that made her want to take up archery and the person who saved her life many years ago. The person that disappeared when Thanos came to Earth causing Kate to turn her back not only on him but the idea of heroism. Believing that her hero was nothing but a coward, instead delving into her mother’s operations, he was ultimately the reason the young archer fell into the darkness in her soul.
It was Kate’s arrow, shot from a small loaded crossbow that was concealed between her shoulder blades, that drops him dead. Instead of following through with the original plan of burning the body and suit, the archer decides to take up the mantle. Following in her once-hero’s footsteps in a demented way by working for Fisk, killing any target regardless of who it is.
Carrying the infamous retractable sword, along with a small crossbow and collapsible bow, Kate under the guise of Ronin became one of the most feared members of Fisk’s organizations. The other two were Maya (Echo) and Yelena (White Widow), who joined in favor of following the people who killed the man responsible for her sister’s death. The three of them became Kingpin’s most prized weapons, and were sent out to deal with the most special targets.
——————————————————————————————
The first time she sees you it's past midnight and you’re rushing home after a long closing shift at the small movie theater you work at. She can’t help but think how you look entirely too cute to be her next target, bundled up in an oversized jacket and a beanie that is falling into your eyes. Confused, the young Ronin decides to follow you around for a few days in hopes to gather information that will allow her to understand her assignment. The longer she trails you the more confused she gets, you’re just a normal person. You walk your dog daily, go to work at the theater almost every single day, and eat ice cream in bed while watching Bob’s Burgers episode on repeat. You aren’t threatening nor did you have anything threatening in your apartment.
The first time she comes into the theater you spill an entire cup of soda on the floor, tripping over air as you get distracted by her striking ocean eyes. Little did you know that she was taking advantage of a tactic that Yelena taught her, drawing trust from the target to find a more convenient spot to kill you.
Kate had thought you were adorable, and stumbled through awkwardly flirting back. The archer tried to act cool as she tried to charm you. Her ego stroked when she realized how difficult it was for you to act normally around her.  You cursed yourself as you stuttered through asking her what movie she would be seeing, but she just asked for a small popcorn and left.
You’re ecstatic when the gorgeous brunette begins showing up at work often, getting a small popcorn and leaving. You are hooked, completely infatuated. Every time you work you have to hype yourself up to finally ask her out, you never do. You don’t even know her name yet.
Another day, another shift, and you can’t help but feel disappointed by the lack of ocean girl for the past week. Your co-workers watch the entire day as you perk up each time someone walks through the doors and sulk as you clean up to close. The walk home was brisk, trying to avoid being in the cold for too long but just a few blocks from your apartment you see someone leaning against a street light. You don’t have too much time to try and think of a different route when the figure starts walking towards you, closing the distance swiftly.
The person is shoving you against an abandoned building, back hitting rough dirty brick. Your heart beat is pounding but the moment your gaze catches a flash of ocean blue you calm. “You haven’t been to th-the theater in a while.” Your voice is soft, anxiety making your voice crack halfway.
Kate, who was flipping an arrow in her hand, looks up at you shocked. Her mouth opens and closes a few times, trying to put together what was happening. How were you not scared? An almost complete stranger just shoved you into an abandoned alleyway, and you’re worried about them getting a bag of popcorn? She lets the shiny arrowhead tap against your leg, smirking as you look down at it. “I’ve been planning something a little different.”
Her voice is low causing a shiver to run down your spine as you look at the reflection of a street light shining off the sharp tip. “Usually I don’t get this…adventurous on the first hookup but for you I would.” You’re a bit nervous, but you know you need to be open to anything if you want to keep the most gorgeous girl you’ve ever seen. She’s entirely out of your league, but you won’t let your inexperience get in the way.
She’s staring at you, an incredulous look on her face. Deciding to test you, she lets the her weapon of choice ghost along her body until it’s beating against your skull. Slowly she lets the tip of the arrow dig into your temple, eye widening as you just let her pierce her skin. The girl is pulling away, jaw slack, about to say something when some random girl screams interrupting the two of you.
The girl runs up to you, asking if you’re okay, but you just notice that the ocean girl is gone. A small trail of blood your only reminder of your close encounter with the popcorn girl. Slumping against the wall again, you just nod and grumpily thank the stranger for her help.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arms crossed, Kate pouts in the oversized arm chair as Yelena and Maya laugh at her. The glare in her eyes is weak, and her friends know it. “Guys! It doesn’t make sense, okay. Why are they my next target?” Her hands are erratic as she signs, making Maya laugh at the mistakes she makes.
The blonde just shrugs as she struggles to sit up straight through her laughter, but Kate relaxes when she sees Maya get her attention. “The boss has a connection to them that he doesn’t want them to know, Kazi figured that part out but the files are destroyed on what the connection is.” The older brunette shrugs at the end of her sentence, quickly signing an apology before smacking Yelena on the head.
The widow sighs before shrugging too, “I really do not think I can be of help. I could not find anything.” Her sloppy signing still makes Maya smile, knowing English in every way is still a bit of a struggle for the Russian. “Besides, just take the target out and get the job done and over with. It should be easy Kate Bishop.” The smirk on the blonde’s face makes the archer roll her eyes, pouting again at the tease.
The young Ronin nods nonetheless, looking out the window, trying to piece together her thoughts.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
For the next few weeks you keep getting in awkward situations with ocean girl, who after you practically begged for the answer told you her name is Kate. You still can’t actually get the nerve to ask her out. You can’t even get the nerve to just try and actually initiate hooking up with her, even though she has definitely tried. Even if every single time you are alone with the brunette ends with her disappearing with no trace, you can’t help but look forward to the next time she pops into your life.
The subway was the most annoying thing ever, preferring to walk everywhere, but you were going to the opposite side of the city so you had no other choice. Your head is down, airpods secure in your ears, as you try to rest a bit before you get to your destination.
You don’t remember dozing off but the feeling of cold metal along your throat wakes you up, a hand in your hair stops you from flinching. Panic rushing through you but the smooth voice that speaks calms you. “We are finishing this tonight, I’m done playing around.”
Slowly opening your eyes, relaxing your face, taking a chance to look up at the ocean blue you crave. “Not that I’m not thrilled to see you because I am, you look amazing tonight by the way, but can I ask if the weird sword thing was necessary?” You don’t mean to ramble but she makes you nervous.
Kate is staring down at you, jaw tense as she takes you in. Your entirely too innocent eyes, sparkling looking up at her like she was the best thing in the world. Your nervous smile, flinching every time your skin is pricked by the sharp blade, but it just makes her melt a little inside at the cuteness. You are the easiest target she’s ever had, honestly you’re the easiest person anyone could have ever been told to kill.
The moment you bite your lip, out of awkwardness mostly because of the heavy silence, it breaks something in Kate. She crashes her mouth into yours, messy and sloppy, but it stuns you nonetheless. This wasn’t the first time someone kissed you, but the way she’s pushing against you is different. No one has ever wanted you like she does at the moment. No one ever touched you like she is.  The blade against your throat retracts, scratching a thin line across your throat, but you don’t have much time to think about it when Kate’s calloused hand replaces it.
Your eyes flick around, grateful for the empty car you’re in, as she moves to straddle you. “I- maybe we shouldn’t do th-” She cuts you off with a sharp slap on your cheek, anger flashing in her eyes before she rubs the red skin soothingly. A small smile reaches her face as she coos over you. You can’t tell if she’s serious or just mocking you, but it makes you blush either way as you wiggle around beneath her.
The flush rises up your neck as she pulls on the baby hairs there, “Oh my sweet little thing, you’re already squirming.” The brunette is moving around, forcing herself between your legs and letting her mouth ghost along your neck.
You can feel the heat in your belly, spreading across your body the more she touches you. The wetness between your thighs makes you whimper, embarrassed at how easy it was for her to turn you on. You let your head shake slowly, cheeks burning as you slam your eyes shut so you don’t have to look at her.
Her hand is already slipping under your shirt, her rough fingers sliding directly under your sports bra. Her palm slides against your hardened nipple, a smirk spreads across her face when she hears your breath hitch. “So sensitive, don’t tell me a pretty pet like you is a virgin.” Her voice is arrogant, as she lets her knee fall between your thighs.
Your hips buck against her knee as it comes to lay flat against your covered center, a pathetic whimper escaping through your lips. Even though it’s a lie you’re adamantly shaking your head, refusing to seem even more pitiful. Letting your eyes close, you try your hardest to ignore the way her hand makes you feel as she palms at your breast. You try to ignore the way you just know your arousal is leaking through your panties as you try not to desperately grind against her knee.
The knee between your thighs is moving, slowly but grinding perfectly into you, and it makes your vision blur. “Now now, don’t lie to me. I’m taking mercy on you, don’t take my niceness for granted. Tell me the truth.” Her mouth is moving against your neck, a particularly hard bite makes you wince as you try to focus. The smallest yes falls from your lips, meek and quiet. “That’s a good girl, I guess I should reward you. Yea?”
Her forehead is leaning against your shoulder, watching as your hips are uncontrollably rutting against her knee. She wants to laugh at how awkward and sloppy it is, but she can’t help the rush of arousal through her body thinking about breaking that. You were going to be hers to ruin, no matter what her job was.
The grip she has on your breasts is borderline painful and you were getting frustrated at not being able to reach your high alone, you were never good at getting off by yourself. You could feel your body starting to give it in, and your mouth hanging open in a silent plea, but it was like you couldn’t fall over the edge. Stuck dangling and Kate was just having a grand old time watching you struggle.
You were completely focused on trying to reach your orgasm that you weren’t aware of the subway coming to a stop, nor were you aware of Kate’s focus shifting. The moment she pulls herself off you, pulling her hood off her head and a gray beanie over her head, a whine tears through your teeth. She’s shushing you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and shoving your heads down to stare at her phone screen.
The archer is watching, through her lashes, as people rush to get into different cars but she sighs in relief when the doors finally close with no extra occupants joining. Making quick work of calculating how long until her stop, less than 2 minutes, she sighs and looks down at you. Your entire face is flushed, your breath coming out in harsh labored pants, and you're rubbing your thighs together in a feeble attempt to find pressure.
Grumbling, she reaches down unceremoniously gathering you in her arms and waits for the doors to open. The moment the metal slides open she’s rushing out, dodging people and shushing you as you whimper with each thundering step she takes. You try to look around, but when you see her taking dark abandoned alleyways you hide your face in her neck instead. The slight pang of fear makes you want to find safety, and for some reason Kate feels like that for you.
The young Ronin sighs as she enters her penthouse, relaxing as the Bishop Security panel comes to life and secures the door behind her. She drops you roughly on the couch before she starts stripping layers, throwing everything around as she tries to take in what she just did. Her boss, Fisk, was going to murder her if he ever found out that this target was alive. Not only was this target alive, but she was keeping them in her apartment and trying to hookup with them.
When she looks up from the glass of liquor she poured, her gaze meets yours and she knows that it doesn’t matter. She was going to keep you, no matter who tried to go against her. You were hers, even if you didn’t know it yet.

A/N: as you can see I have a new angry blonde woman to obsess over. Anyways have some shameless smut on this fine Friday afternoon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maya wasn’t sad, she wasn’t heartbroken. No, she was pissed. Only a couple months had gone by and you were already seen spending time with some unknown girl. Maya knew all your friends, she didn’t know this one. So, she felt it was a fair assumption to say the intentions between you two were all but platonic.
Maya wasn’t even sure how you and her broke up. It was a screaming match that she started. Unfortunately, she knew that part all too well. Words were said on both sides. Hurtful words; the kind that doesn’t just get forgotten when the fight eventually ends. Except, this fight didn’t really end at all. To be fair, you tried to settle the fight. You had asked for space and wanted to get out of the apartment before either of you said anymore that you’d regret.
But then when you said you were leaving for the night, Maya said not to bother coming back. She wasn’t done with this fight and the heat of the moment got the better of her. Those words flew from her mouth before she could even process them. No way in hell did she mean them. They were only said as a means to hurt you. To make matters worse though, was the furious look you threw back at her and the simple “fine then” you muttered as you slammed the door.
And then you actually didn’t come back. Maya thought you understood that it was said in anger. She didn’t think you’d take it so seriously. There was no doubt in her mind that you’d come back a couple weeks later. But a couple weeks turned into a couple months and she was starting to sweat.
Lucky for you, the relationship was fairly new when it ended. You still had your own apartment and barely anything at Maya’s place. New didn’t mean it wasn’t serious though. Very early into the relationship, Maya blurted out that she loved you in the fit of a jealous rage when she thought someone was coming onto you. That should’ve been the first red flag: you two were fighting even when declaring your love for each other.
After the night she told you not to come back, you were so utterly offended that you did exactly that. There would need to be a serious apology from Maya before you even thought about taking her back. Since she was the one to start the fight and escalate it the way she did, you decided it was her responsibility to reach out first. Deep down, you knew she didn’t really mean it, but you weren’t going to bet all your money on it until she admitted that she didn’t.
Maya could be so fucking stubborn. When weeks went by with radio silence from Maya, you were about to give up. The sting of knowing your relationship was over so soon was there, but even bigger was the frustration that Maya so willingly tossed aside something that could’ve been good. Was all your fighting healthy? No, probably not, but it’s kind of how Maya functions. You were starting to learn that quickly and slowly trying to help her unlearn it. But in the typical Maya fashion you were semi-warned about, she pushed until she took it too far.
When you started to give up, you also started to meet people. Nothing serious, most women you met didn’t make it past one coffee date. But then there was one girl who was… persistent. It was like she was smitten with you after a few text conversations and two casual dates. You didn’t feel the same, unfortunately. Maya was still very much on your mind and you weren’t over her at all. Giving up on your hopes that she would come to her senses was one thing, learning to unlove her was another.
Though, this girl wasn’t the worst company. You tried to keep it friendly, realizing quickly she was way more into you than you were into her. She agreed to accept that, but you assumed she had the hopes that your mind would change. Honestly, you hoped for that too.
She was attractive. You couldn’t lie that you thought that. Did you want to touch her? No, not when the only thoughts of being intimate with someone still led your brain to think back to all the times Maya touched you. But, she was still someone you could see yourself being open about it with. If you ever got over Maya, that is.
This girl wasn’t as attractive as Maya though. She didn’t have the smug smile that you loved so much, or the flexing arm muscles that you fixated on, or the cocky attitude that you couldn’t help but love. All you could do was compare her to Maya. It wasn’t all downsides in your mind, though. She was more patient than Maya, more gentle and kind too. It was a breath of fresh air compared to how possessive and quick to anger Maya could get.
But still that didn’t stop you from wanting Maya. God, how you wanted her. When you two were together, the way she made love to you made you feel like your entire being belonged to her. You missed that so much. There were times, when you remembered the way she touched you, that your resolve almost broke.
A few times you went out for drinks with friends, you’d see Maya at the bar too. Joe’s was her go to and you purposely picked it so she’d see you and be reminded of what she was missing. Maya usually avoided eye contact with you then, but when you started going to the bar with just one girl instead of your regular group of friends, that’s when it changed. It was after your dates with her and after you asked to just be friends. When you went to the bar with her, it really wasn’t meant to be a date or even look like one. It was also supposed to be just one time, but then that one time turned into more when you discovered you could get a reaction out of Maya.
The girl would often stand too close to you. She’d touch your arm and buy you drinks, despite your agreement to remain platonic. That first time, Maya passed you by in the bar and finally met your eyes. The fire you saw inside them nearly made you gasp. She seems furious. Even better, though, was that she also seemed extremely jealous.
After that, you made it a regular thing to grab drinks with this girl. The more she saw you with one specific person, the angrier she appeared and the more triumphant you felt. Only problem was, seeing her like this was threatening to break your own promise to yourself.
As fucked up as it sounded, it was turning you on. All you wanted was for her to grab you and fuck you in the bar’s bathroom. But that was a dangerous desire to have, so you tried to ignore it and made another promise with yourself: No being alone with Maya until she seemed willing to apologize. If she did actually act on her jealousy and anger and got you alone, then you’d be losing this battle. Not only did you make the “no alone with Maya” rule, but you also limited your visits to the bar with the other girl eventually. Time was stretching on with no apology, and you were losing hope in Maya. This couldn’t be healthy for you, so you decided this little game needed to end and distance would be a good thing.
What you really didn’t need was to be stuck locked in Station 19 with Maya. Of course, that’s exactly what happened when a snowstorm blew out your apartment’s power and even the backup generators too. You and a handful of your other neighbors, plus others in different apartment complexes with similar situations, were then forced to seek shelter and warmth in Maya’s station. It was the closest, after all.
You weren’t sure if it was a blessing or a curse that the girl you were definitely not dating but spending regular time with was also stuck there. She at least would serve as a barrier between you and Maya. Or so you hoped.
As time ticked by you were getting more and more frustrated and on edge. Maya’s eyes were always on you from the moment she realized you were trapped in the station with her. There weren't enough places to hide from her either. If you left one room for another room, a few minutes later she’d follow.
It impressed you how neutral Maya seemed, though. What you didn’t know was Maya was seething on the inside, but she had to stay professional. She was captain after all and there were so many other people around. It would not be a good look for her career if she suddenly blew up at you and your new little girlfriend in the middle of the station.
But she couldn’t stop thinking about the audacity this girl had in touching you so freely. Your hands, your waist, your arms. She was fawning all over you and it made Maya rage. It would be way easier if she just stopped watching you. She could hide in her office and it would fix everything.
Except, she wasn’t about to take her eyes off the two of you. What would happen if she wasn’t watching? This girl might sneak off with you and do god knows what. Maya couldn’t have that. She wouldn’t. So, Maya kept watch over the two of you and took a small victory in knowing the way her gaze made you visibly uncomfortable.
Even then, as the hours ticked by, this girl was getting much closer. Maya was seeing red at this point. The thin string that was holding her together was about to snap and she wasn’t sure what she would do when it did. She kept trying to tell herself that professionalism was important, but then that fucking girl was whispering in your ear and Maya could’ve sworn you were blushing and then that thin string in side her just snapped. Maya slammed her hands on the desk next to her and caused everyone around to jump. Your eyes were on her now, eyebrows arched in a way that Maya took as your way to challenge her. It wasn’t, but Maya wasn’t exactly thinking rationally now.
Maya wanted to yell at the person with you to get her damn hands off your body, but Maya waltzed right up to you and grabbed your arm instead. “I need to talk to you,” she said even though she was already hauling you away from everyone. She didn’t even bother to acknowledge the girl with you. Fuck that, Maya wasn’t going to give a shit about her reaction.
You may have protested a little bit, but Maya didn’t seem to notice. She just kept dragging you through the station until you came to a door that said “off limits.” It was one of the private rooms Maya often slept in at the station during her long shifts. You’ve been in this room many times before. Often stealing moments in here with Maya when no one else was around.
When she pulled you into the room, you heard the click of the lock. This really was not good. You two alone in a room together wasn’t going to end well. You had to stay strong. You had to keep yourself from falling into her arms. Not until you heard what you needed to hear.
She was rounding on you with such fury in her eyes that it caused you to take a step back. “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” Maya’s voice was not at all quiet as she took a step forward.
You backed up and she still followed as she seethed. “She was all over you,” Maya snapped. “Practically fucking groping you in my station.”
“Maya—“ you were cut off before you could even go anywhere with that.
“Don’t even start with excuses.”  Maya took a step forward again as you took another back. “I know we’re broken up, but I thought you’d wait at least a little longer before you started fucking someone else.”
“I’m not fucking her,” you finally snapped back. “It’s not like that.”
Maya scoffed at that. She wasn’t buying it for a second. “Well, if you haven’t fucked yet,” Maya took more steps into your space until you were forced to back right up against a wall, “then she certainly intends to soon. Probably tonight even, with how her hands were all over you.”
“You’re being ridiculous!”
“Am I?” Maya was right in your face now. “What did she whisper in your ear, huh?”
“What? Maya— it wasn’t anything.” God, she was testing your patience. “Plus, it’s not any of your business.”
“It is my fucking business,” Maya hissed.
“It’s only your business if we were together, but you ended that.” You were taking low blows now. “Remember?”
This was really testing Maya too. On the one hand, you were absolutely right. On the other, she was still livid that you came into her station and let someone else have their hands on you. “I thought you would come back!”
“Maya, why would I?” Finally, she at least admitted that part of your suspicion. “You told me not to. If you want me to come back so badly then you are the one who has to fix it.”
Maya just stood there in front of you now. Her eyes showed her angry disbelief and you were about fed up with it. Even if it did turn you on just a little.
“I’m going back out there,” you sighed in resignation, trying to take a few calming breaths. “She’s probably wondering what’s going on.” You tried to take a step and push past Maya, but a strong hand wrapped around your wrist halted you.
“I’m sorry,” Maya practically growled. Your eyes went wide at that. That was something you really weren’t expecting to come out of her mouth. Sure, her tone was… aggressive, but you knew that wasn’t ever easy for her to say. “I’m sorry, okay? Is that what you want to hear? I fucked up and I took forever to fix things.”
Well, that was better than nothing, you thought. Maybe later, when this heated moment was over, you could pry a less hostile apology out of her.
Maya wasn’t done though, still enraged about the evening and that she was having to swallow her pride. “But you owe me an apology for flaunting this girl in front of me. You owe me an apology for even looking for other people to fuck. I didn’t do that to you, I was waiting. I—“
“I told you it wasn’t like that.” You really weren’t hiding your frustration in your tone.
“Oh, sure,” Maya snorted.
“Jesus, Maya, it wasn’t,” you yelled. “How could I fuck someone else? How could I even want to when all I think about is you? Not once could I even stomach the thought of someone else touching me like you do. Do you know how hard it was to lay my eyes on you for even a second and not fall on my knees and beg you to fuck me?”
The look in Maya’s eyes shifted at your rant. You knew that look well, it was one that made you squirm where you stood. With pure hunger replacing the anger that was once in her eyes, her hand moved from your wrist to push hard against your shoulder until you were pressed against the wall again.
She took another step and was right up against you. Before you could react to your back hitting the wall, Maya grabbed your chin and pulled your face towards her with her grip.
“Then beg,” She said in a low voice. “Beg me.”
“Maya, is this really the time—“
“I don’t give a fuck,” Maya hissed. “I know you want me to give you what you’ve been missing. I know if I slipped my hand into your panties, you’d be wet. Tell me I’m wrong.”
She wasn’t wrong. Jealous Maya always had you wet. The way she had a hold of your chin and was a breath away from kissing you had quickly broken your resolve by now too. You gulped as Maya’s eyes shifted to your lips before flicking them back up.
“I said,” Maya’s thumb traced your lips now, “beg for me.”
“Yes,” you practically whimpered. “Yes, Maya I want you. I want you to touch me. Fuck, I’ve missed it. Please I don’t care anymore. Just fuck me.”
“That’s the good girl I’ve been missing.” Maya flashed you a devilish grin before she pulled your face even closer and smashed her lips into yours. The way she kissed you instantly made you melt. Her tongue pushed its way into your mouth before you could even begin to part your lips. You met hers with your own, both of you moaning into the kiss.
Maya’s hands moved to your hair and tugged and pulled as she kissed you with a roughness that you knew would leave your lips a little bruised afterwards. You didn’t care though, not when her tongue was in your mouth and her body was grinding on you and pushing you harder against the wall.
All too soon, Maya pulled away, moving her hand back to your shoulder where she kept you pressed still. “Making me jealous the way you have…” Maya trailed off as she took a few steps back. “You’re going to need to make it up to me.”
You huffed, but didn’t protest. It was far too late for you to turn back now. Honestly, you had forgotten all about the fact that someone out there might wonder what you two are doing or why you’re gone. All you were focused on was Maya and the way she was looking at you.
She craved you. It felt like if she didn’t get what she wanted from you tonight in this very instant, then she’d explode. The possessive part of Maya was also still raging, but not at you now. Just at the idea of someone else touching you, no matter how innocent that touch might seem.
You were going to make it up to her, that she was sure to follow through with. The question was, how did she want you to do that? All she could think to do right now, was fuck you with everything she’s got. She wanted to see you spread open and falling apart underneath her. She wanted to hear you scream her name as she fucked you in a way that only she could. She wanted to make you cum so hard you’d see stars.
There was only one way to do that. Lucky for Maya, because of how often you two snuck away to fool around in here, she was still prepared.
“Strip for me while I get something,” Maya ordered before walking away from you and fishing for something under one of the beds. You gave her a skeptical look for a moment, but still did as you were told. Not yet fully unclothed, you heard Maya pop the buttons open to her uniform. Then as you continued to get undressed, you heard some rustling of clothes, and what you thought sounded like Maya struggling with her belt.
When you heard Maya move to one of the beds, you finally turned around. Your eyes immediately met hers as she sat on the mattress. You started to take her in slowly. She was wearing a tanktop now and you admired the way you could see the muscles of her abdomen through the way it clung to her. You shifted your gaze down after a moment and they fell between her legs. When you registered what exactly you were looking at, your eyes practically bugged out of your skull.
“Maya, why do you have that?” Right between her legs was a rather sizable strap on. Maya just looked at you unphased.
“I’ve had it hidden in here for awhile,” she shrugged. “We just didn’t get the chance to use it… yet.” The “yet” felt very pointed, like she wanted you to know just how badly you had been missing out on all the things she had planned for you. “Now, come here.”
“But what if someone had found that?”
“Don’t worry about it,” Maya huffed, getting frustrated that you weren’t on her lap yet. “Just get on it.”
“What if someone finds it after,” you hesitated again.
“For fuck’s sake!” Maya groaned. “Just shut up and ride my fucking cock.”
As much as Maya’s habit to bark orders at you like you were one of the team pissed you off, you did exactly as you were told. The way she said that made it impossible for you not to. The frustration in her voice and her phrasing definitely made you more wet than you already were. It took you two seconds to reach her with how eager you were for what was to come. When you did, you slowly climbed on top of her until you could angle yourself over her strap. Slowly, your body sunk down onto it.
As Maya watched it disappear inside your pussy, her breathing quickened and she let out a desperate, drawn out “fuckkkk” before her hands grabbed your hips. With just one roll of her body, you felt the head of her strap hit deep inside you couldn’t stop yourself from falling forward onto her.
When she asked you to fuck yourself on her, you had every intention to obey, but then you actually took her cock in. Within an instant you were too wrapped up in actually fitting it inside your tight pussy that fucking yourself with it too felt impossible. Plus, Maya was way too impatient to wait for you to even adjust to its size before she started to fuck it up into you.
She loved the way you bounced with each time she thrust up her hips and pumped her cock into you. It was intoxicating, hearing the moans that fell from your lips and watching your body tense as you took it for her.
“You’re loving this, aren’t you?” Maya taunted as you finally began to move your hips with hers. “I can tell you missed this. Missed me fucking you like the little slut you are.”
All you could do was whimper as you moved your body faster on top of Maya. You felt her arms flex around you, pulling you in tighter. Your body was draped over Maya as you rode her and the only thing keeping you sitting up was Maya’s strong embrace.
“But you’re my little slut,” Maya purred into your ear. “You can deny it all you want, but we both know you’re only ever going to be mine.”
You were speeding up now, desperately rocking your hips into her as fast as you possibly could. Maya met your desperation with just as much force as she kept fucking up into you. Both of you were panting and Maya felt like she could cum just from watching you rut your hips into her to get off.
The way you could feel her muscles flex and tense as she practically used all her strength to keep your hips rocking was making your head swim. She was practically just using you as her toy at this point. You had long lost the rhythm you started out with and now she was just making you fuck yourself on top of her with the sheer strength of her hold on you.
You buried your face into her neck because it was all you could do to muffle your moaning. It seemed like it should be impossible, the speed she was setting for you, but she just kept it going. As your body shook and your teeth sunk into the skin of her neck you heard her moan your name before she twisted around and fell forward onto the mattress, taking you with her.
When your back hit the bed, Maya made quick work to grab both your thighs and hoist them over your shoulders. She was pressing your own knees into your chest, the way she had you bent underneath her.
“Fuck,” She groaned. “You take it so well, baby.” She was fucking you deeper than you honestly thought you could take. The way you could feel her cock hit the exact spot that made you lose your mind was making it harder and harder for you to stay at a reasonable volume.
The thought that everyone in the station could possibly hear you right now as Maya continued to fuck you into the matttress crossed your mind in that moment. You tried your best to move your hand to cover your mouth, but the moment you tried, Maya’s hand flew up and grabbed your wrist. Her other hand came up to grab your free one as well. She slammed both your wrists back down onto the mattress, holding them tightly there as she kept rutting into you.
“Let them hear,” she growled, knowing exactly what your concern was. “Then no one will question who this pussy belongs to.”
“M— fuck, Maya,” you whined. Your eyes slammed shut and your head fell back. All you could do was lay, pinned to the bed, and let Maya keep pumping her strap into you.
The sounds you were making were getting louder, but so were Maya’s. She was groaning and grunting on top of you, fucking her hips into you harder with each thrust. Your body was shaking and your fists clenched in Maya’s hold.
The choice to wear this particular strap was intentional for Maya. It was the one that had the base that hit her clit just right. So with each thrust of her hips into yours and with each time your hips bucked and you tried to fuck yourself on her cock too, she felt it. She felt everything. Now, you were getting close and she could tell, but so was she. The idea of you making her cum while her strap was buried deep inside your pussy was driving her to be a little rougher with you; a little more aggressive.
“You’re gonna cum when I tell you to,” Maya panted as her own orgasm approached. You didn’t react to that, too cock-drunk on her strap to comprehend much else. Maya didn’t slow, but one hand that had a grip of your wrist moved to your chin and jerked your head up. Her eyes met yours and the look she had in them was fierce. “Do you got that?”
“M-mhm!” Maya’s hand squeezed your chin and you realized she wanted a real answer. “Yes— god— Yes, when you tell me to.”
She was satisfied with that, but her hand didn’t let you go. Instead, it slipped down and her fingers wrapped around your throat. There was barely any pressure from her grip onto your neck, just the slightest bit of restriction to your airway. That action alone brought you right to that edge. You didn’t cum yet though; you wanted to be good.
“Fuck, baby, look at you,” Maya moaned. “Gonna make me cum. Would you like that?” Her pace was becoming erratic as she approached her edge too. “Want me to cum with my strap inside you? Bet you do, you fucking love taking it. Fuck, fuck, fuck— cum now. Cum for me!”
And when you did Maya did too. The way she moaned out your name as you cried out hers had your whole body trembling. She pumped her hips into you a few more times as her orgasm ran through her body.
When you had finally come down from your high, she followed soon after. Her body collapsed on top of you and you felt her place soft kisses on your neck.
“Fuckkkk,” She sighed. “That was something. I bet the whole building heard you cum.”
“God,” you groaned, burying your head in the pillow. “Don’t say that.”
“What?” Maya smirked. “Worried that girl might hear?”
“Shut up,” you playfully shoved at her shoulder.
“Well, if she didn’t…” Maya leaned up to whisper in your ear, “then maybe she’ll hear it this time.” Maya’s tone might have been teasing, but you knew she was only half joking. Waiting out this snowstorm would take god knows how long, but Maya planned on fucking you for the rest of it.
And she made good on that plan.

Facade
Diane the psychologist pays the station a visit, and is amused to find how frustrating of a client you are… and Andy knew there’s something more to you than meets the eye.
Andy Herrera x female reader | mentions of abuse, trauma, reader is an emotional brick wall who tries to improve
Prev. Parts: one two three four five (but you can read them all separately!)
“so, you’re the one they call new girl around here,” Diane regards you, sitting across you in the captain’s office that Maya offered to be Diane’s temporary office for the day.
You sigh, and nod at the sentiment. “I’ve been in 19 for almost ten months,”
Diane nods. “but you’ve been a firefighter for… how long?”
“a little over a decade,” you shrug, uneasy at the situation currently happening to you. You’ve always hated therapy—everything that comes with it, too. The sessions, the patronizing tone the therapists use as they talk to you… and the requirement of telling them your life’s story!
Diane nods, yet again. “Not a fan of the nickname?”
“Look, can we just cut the small talk? Can we just get to the point?” You don’t want to show it, but you’re getting slightly agitated. A FD-mandated therapy session is bad enough as it is, but now this brand new therapist wants to make small talk… of all things? Please.
She fixes you a look, and smiles thinly. “I get it, you don’t want to be here any more than you need to be. But I’m here if you want to talk,”
“I don’t want to talk. We’re wasting time here, when we could be saving lives out there,” you sigh, shaking your head, your feet tapping against the foot of the chair you’re sitting on, quite impatiently. “...respectfully, doctor Lewis.”
She regards you, not showing any expressions in her face. But you can tell that she’s picking your every word apart, and it’s driving you mad. “tell me, then—what did you think of today’s call?”
“we did our job. Saved the lives of the kids, and put the asshole responsible for setting the house on fire behind bars,”
“Even if that asshole is the kids’ foster mother?” Diane asks.
You crease your eyebrows, trying to cool your jets. “we didn’t treat her any different. We treated her burns, sent her away with appropriately dressed gauze,”
“that’s not what I’m asking,” Diane shakes her head, leaning forward on the table, regarding you. “Do you think what she did is wrong? Should she be left for dead instead?”
“What kind of question is that?” You find yourself irritated.
“Captain Bishop informed me that... you lost your cool, that you wanted to just let her die in the ruins of the house, knowing the structure of the house is compromised,”
you shift in your seat, feeling your face hardening into a fuming mess. “Yet she lives.”
“if you think like that of a patient, you know…”
“…you don’t belong on the rig,” you finished her sentence, sighing in silent frustration.
Diane nods. “See, I don’t believe you are a bad person,” she stands up off her chair, closing the blinds in the office. She turns back to you. “so that call must be personal.”
you feel your nerves tensing. You sit back, trying to appear calm and composed as you can. “how do you figure?”
“you’re not close with your mother?” Diane asks, earning a small scoff from you.
“I’m… as close with their parents as anyone else could be,” you explain as you scoff, trying to steer the direction of the talk someplace else.
“that’s not the response I’m looking for,”
“what do you want me to say?” You furrow your brows. “that my mom beat me as a child and I never told anyone? That seeing those kids today reminded me of my own childhood?”
“does it?” Diane asks. “does it remind you of your childhood?” She rifles through her bag, fishing out a dossier. “because I read your file. Says you grew up in the foster system, jumped households around 15 times. So you’re not talking about your adoptive parents,”
You close your eyes with a sigh, not knowing how to escape from this conversation. “…I’m a grown woman,” you mutter. “I don’t dwell on the past,”
“...and yet, you showed everyone today a glimpse of your past. And I don’t think they know who you actually are,”
“is that such a bad thing?” You argue. “nobody wants to know anyone that deeply—flaws and all,”
Diane fixes you a look, and nods to herself. She sits back down across you, steepling her hands together. “okay. And why do you think that?”
You crease your eyebrows, confused. “that’s just how it is, isn’t it? Everybody wants somebody around, if that someone is fun to be with. Nobody wants to be with somebody with a baggage,”
She shakes her head. “…look, that’s not the healthiest way to be looking into relationships in your life,”
“worked for me,” you shrug, leaning back on the chair.
“does it, though?” She asks, skeptically narrowing her eyes, ever so slightly. “because that’s not really healthy if you’re looking to form long term relationships—one that I assume you’re having right now?”
Your eyes widen, ever so slightly. “who told you that—”
“nobody, I assumed and you confirmed it,” Diane let a small amused smile sit on her lips. “Is that really fair to whom you’re seeing right now?”
You sigh. ‘Oh, you’re a clever one!’ You think to yourself. “that’s, how did we even get to this point? Let’s circle back to the whole childhood trauma thing again,”
“if you want,” Diane shrugs. “but I get the feeling that I’ve hit a sore spot, and you’re gonna have to address that,”
you sigh, irritatedly. “she doesn’t need all that baggage,”
“so it’s Herrera,” Diane nods to herself.
“whoa,” you raise your eyebrows, miffed. “I don’t remember giving you a name,”
“didn’t have to,” she shrugs. “Bishop is in a relationship—Hughes is not your type, so… that leaves Herrera,”
“perks of being in a male-dominated field,” you laugh mirthlessly, giving Diane a ‘you caught me’ look, because you know you’ve lost. "Not a lot of women around us,"
“and you resort to humor when cornered,” Diane notes.
“I can’t fucking win here,” you joke some more. ‘That’ll show her.’
Diane isn't amused. "You wanna know how I know it's Herrera?"
"please," you nod, hopeless.
She nods. "You make it your hardest job to avoid looking her in the eye in front of everyone,"
"...that doesn't matter," you argue. "Most people at the station already knew about us,"
"so why do you avoid eye contact?"
You have to think on that. "Because..." You start a sentence...
And you can't say it out loud.
Diane nods. "Exactly," she mutters, resolute. "Because if you make eye contact at Herrera with everyone around, it'll make your relationship feel real, it exists—outside of your little world; and then you're gonna have to deal with the fact that, yes; you have baggage, and Herrera deserves to know."
You give her a look of disbelief. 'first of all, how dare you... Correctly and accurately analyzed... And put into words what I've been feeling my whole life, I will not stand for this—'
...is what you thought to yourself. The words that actually came out of your mouth are "...you got me,"
And you add a little chuckle at the end of your sentiment, trying to make it lighthearted.
Diane doesn't buy it. Neither do you.
"if Herrera means as much as I think she means to you, then be honest with her."
You shift in your seat, uncomfortable. "That might break our relationship,"
"what if it doesn't?"
After what feels like forever, you finally got yourself out of that torture chamber people call counseling session. You walk to the barn, picking up the duffel bag you left before going into Diane's session of doom earlier.
You pick it up, and Andy is right in front of you, hands in her pockets.
"Andy," you regard her, trying to put on a small smile for her. "Aren't you going home?"
Andy is quiet, then she sits on the back of an open aid car, patting the empty spot next to her as she looks at you.
Sighing, you sit as she asked.
"rookie," she said softly, yet it doesn't feel warm enough. She turns to you. "I know... That you're not this silly goofy troublemaker girl that you want to come off as,"
You sigh. "If it's about the call earlier, look—"
She stops you, squeezing your shoulder to calm you. "It's not just that... Look, we... We started off as a casual hookup, right? And then we just... Went for it, hit a couple of snags... But we're doing great,"
You nod, not liking where this is going. "Okay..."
Andy looks at you, eyes full of emotions. "But rookie, your eyes hide an ocean of sadness, that you really don't share with anyone,"
"nobody needs that," you said as a matter-of-factly.
Andy shakes her head, pursing her lips. "No, rookie, that's the thing. I... want to know the real you, the actual you, not the fake version of you that you parade around to the world," she said softly, as she takes your hand in hers. "I promise, I'm strong enough,"
You laugh dryly, unable to meet her eyes. "I thought you agreed to fuck me that night we first met because of my whimsy,"
Andy sighs, rolling her eyes. "You were there for me when I needed someone to cry to, I want to be there for you. So let me in,"
You find it hard to fib your way out of this one. "I..."
Andy doesn't let you come up with another excuse. She plants her lips on yours, slow and sweet. She caressed your cheek with her hand, softly cradling it.
She pulls back, but keeps your foreheads pressed together. "Show me the real you, rookie. I want all of it. Today's call just proves to me that I don't know enough about you, and that needs to change,"
You chuckle softly. "I... Yes, okay,"
"yeah?"
"yeah," you reassure her, and she pulls you into a tight hug.
Her warmth reaches the inside of your soul. You really didn't stand a chance against falling for Andy Herrera. Not today, not the day you met ten months ago.
"let's go home, I'll drive you," you offer as you part from her embrace. Andy nods, and you make your way to your car, the future of your relationship on the path ahead of you.

With Bishop being your father it was no surprise that you wanted to be a part of the MC. Ever since you were a kid you were fascinated with motorcycles and spent most of your free time at the scrap yard. So it was no surprise either when you told your dad you wanted to become a mechanic. Him and your Tio’s supported you from day one.
Once you turned 18 you told your dad you wanted to become a Mayan. At first he wasn’t really supportive because you’re his little princesa and he wants to protect you at all costs. You and your Tio’s convinced him and so you became the first female prospect and the first female member without special treatment.
Princesa de los Mayans that’s what you patch says and that’s what you are to the older members their little princess. Not matter how old you are!
It is April 4th which means it’s time for the spring-cleaning. Since you broke your foot the week before you can’t really do much so you decided to get the boys to do the work.
’’You know you’re my best friend and I love you but why the hell are we here so early?’’ Ez complains since it’s only 9:00 am on a Sunday.
’’Well love, thanks for asking! You guys are here because it’s time for the spring-cleaning and I can’t do much with my broken foot. This is where I need you. You guys are here to help me clean.’’ you say smiling at them widely.
’’Why is it just us four?’’ Angel asks.
’’Well because we are the youngest ones. And the rest of the guys are leaving in 2 hours so it’s just us.’’ you say while looking at Ez,Angel,Coco and Gilly.
’’Yo guys enough talking we have a lot of work to do’’
’’I thought you can’t do anything with your foot being broken Y/n?’’ Gilly says confused.
’’Well with we I meant you.’’
’’And you’re doing what exactly ma?’’ Coco wants to know.
’’I coordinate you guys. Someone has to guide you.’’ you laugh.
’’I know what your ’’coordinating’’ looks like Y/n.’’ Ez says.
’’What’s that supposed to mean?’’
’’Nothing El comandante’’ Angel laughs and kisses your head.
’’Good then get started. Chairs and tables outside then you clean the floor. C’mon guys we don’t have the whole day.’’ you say while clapping your hands.
The boys groan knowing that this won’t be an easy day for them. Once all the stuff is outside they start cleaning the floor. As soon as they’re done you order them to clean the bathroom, the dorms and the storage room while you clean the the bar as good as you can with your foot.
4 hours later the guys are exhausted and done with everything you wanted them to do.
’’Well done boys I’m proud of you.’’
’’Can we leave now Y/n’’ Angel asks tiredly.
’’Nope’’ you say and the clubhouse door opens. Felipe walks in with the food you nicely asked him to prepare the day before.
’’Hey Pops what are you doing here?’’ Ez asks.
’’I’m here because Y/n asked me to prepare you some food.’’
’’In other words I didn’t want you to tell everyone I starve you guys - or being known as a slave-driver’’ you laugh while Felipe sets the pot, filled with his famous chili con carne down on one of the tables. You hobble over to the table while Ez gets some plates and spoons.
Once everyone sits down you start to speak.
’’Thank you Felipe for cooking for us.’’
’’No need to thank me mija’’ he smiles.
’’I also wanna thank you guys for helping me today. You didn’t have to do it but you chose to do it. It really means a lot to me. I know I can be a pain in the ass from time to time so I’m really thankful. I couldn’t ask for better friends - for a better family. I love you guys.’’ you smile with having tears in your eyes.
’’We love you too!’’ Angel says and the other guys nod in agreement.
Once you’re done eating Felipe leaves and you and the guys spend the rest of the day together of the clubhouse playing cards and joking around like you always do.

Maya is scrolling through her phone, while Y/N is sitting next to her, reading a book. It’s already late and they’re getting ready to go to bed, but they like to have some quiet time before going to sleep.
“I have an appointment with my primary physician next month.” Maya mumbles, double checking her calendar to see she remembers it correctly.
“Do you want me to come with you?”
“Sure,” Maya puts her phone down, “if you aren’t working. When’s your next appointment?” Y/N shrugs. “When did you have your last one?”
Marking the page she is in with a bookmark, she puts the book away and bites the inside of her cheek. “I’m not sure.” She mumbles, keeping her gaze away from Maya. She knows she hasn’t gone to the doctor as often as she ideally should, but it has never been her priority.
“Give me an estimate.” Maya is frowning. She doesn’t like to hear things like this.
“I don’t know,” she sighs, “like, multiple years ago.”
“That’s not good. You know that, right?”
She turns to look at Maya with a roll of her eyes. “I know that it’s not the best thing to do, but I’m healthy, I haven’t had any need to go to the doctor.”
“But you don’t know you’re healthy if you haven’t been to the doctor.”
“My body would tell me.”
“Not always.” Her brows are scrunched as she tries to get this through to Y/N. She’s worried there might be something invisible that’ll backfire on her because she hasn’t visited the doctor in a long time. “There could be something you aren’t feeling.”
Turning off the light on her side of the bed, Y/N burrows herself under the covers. “I’m sure there isn’t.”
“I’m serious, Y/N.” Maya moves the covers away, wanting to have this conversation now.
Although, she is usually the calm one of the two, Maya is starting to feel extremely worried, the thoughts swarming in her head. She doesn’t understand why Y/N is being so nonchalant about the whole situation.
“Will you make an appointment?”
“I’ll make one in the morning.” Whining, Y/N tries to grab the cover and pull it back over her.
Maya sits up straighter, pulling the cover further away, which makes Y/N sit up and glare at her. “Make an appointment now, or I’ll make one for you.” They stare at each other, Maya’s brows raised as she waits for Y/N to move. She isn’t one to back down, and knowing this, Y/N grabs her phone with a groan.
“I’ll make an appointment.” She mumbles. Maya opens her mouth, but Y/N lifts up her hand to silence her, “the earliest appointment that’s available, yes, I know.”
Maya smiles, laying back down once Y/N sets the phone down. “Thank you.” She whispers, cuddling Y/N from behind.
“Yeah, yeah.” Y/N presses herself against Maya’s front, pulling the cover so only the upper half of her head is visible.
Their breathing evens out as they lay there next to each other, eyes closed, as close as possible. Maya’s hand is gently caressing Y/N’s stomach and the air coming out of her nose tickles the back of her neck. She opens her eyes, though she doesn’t see much. “You know I just want to make sure you’re okay because I love you? And I don’t want anything bad happening to you.” She whispers, not wanting to wake Y/N up if she has already fallen asleep.
“I know. I love you too.” Her voice is laced with tiredness.
Staying quiet for a while, Maya bites the inside of her cheek. “When’s the last time you went to the dentist?”
“I don’t know,” Y/N sighs, “maybe three or four years ago.”
Maya sits up again. “Y/N!”

Could I please have an imagine where the reader hooks up with Maya Bishop one night. The next morning she starts her new job at station 19 and realizes Maya is her captain. Maya tells her nothing can happen between them again, but the intense chemistry between them is apparent. So after a few months Maya realizes she wants to be with her. They get together and around 6 months later the reader is hurt on the job and has to have surgery. The whole team is worried but Maya is extremely freaked out that she may never get to tell the reader she loves her. Andy (the only person who knows about the relationship) tries to calm her down but Maya ends up revealing the relationship to the others. Then later on both Maya and the reader admit that they are in love with each other. Fluffy and angsty please?
That woman turned her world

Y/N wakes up with a groan. She sits up with the cover held tightly against her chest. The blonde laying next to her is still sound asleep. They met at Joe’s Bar last night and then went to Y/N’s apartment to spend the night together.
Flinging her legs over the side of the bed, Y/N stands up and goes to her wardrobe to get clean clothes, still holding the blanket to cover herself. She takes the clothes with her to the bathroom, so they’re ready for her once her shower is over.
Now fully clothed and slightly more energized, Y/N goes back to her bedroom with a toothbrush in her mouth. The blonde is almost done putting on her clothes. “Hey,” she mumbles through the toothpaste, “you kinda have to go. My shift starts soon, at my new job, meaning I can’t be late. So, it was great to meet you, uhm…”
The woman stands up, having all her clothes on now. “Maya.” She extends her hand to Y/N.
“Right. Y/N.” Smiling, she shakes her hand. Clearing her throat, Y/N goes to the bathroom to spit out the toothpaste.
Maya shows up to the bathroom door. “Nice to meet you.”
“Bye, Maya!” Y/N walks right past her, so she can start getting ready for work. Maya chuckles, but leaves, not before grabbing an apple from the fridge though.
Going through all the things in her bag one more time, Y/N makes sure she has everything she needs for her first shift at Station 19. Once everything is ready, she puts on her shoes and jacket, making her way to the station.
Stepping inside the station, one of the firefighters is there to welcome her in. “Hey, you must be the rookie. I’m Andy Herrera.” She gives her hand to shake.
“Not technically a rookie, just a transfer.” Smiling, she takes her hand and shakes it. “Y/N Y/L/N, it’s great to meet you.”
Andy laughs with a nod, making a mental note not to call her a rookie again. She glances at the bad she’s carrying. “I can take you to the locker room, where you can leave your stuff. I’m pretty sure we’re lining up soon.”
“Yes, please.” Following after Andy, they go upstairs and into the locker room, where Andy gives her one of the empty lockers to use. “What happened to your former firehouse?”
“It got shut down, budgeting stuff.” She rolls her eyes while setting her things into the locker.
“The dreaded budgets.” They laugh. “Well, I hope you make yourself feel at home over here. We’re all very excited to have a new member.”
Y/N smiles, closing the locker. “Thanks. I’m excited to be here.”
Andy brings Y/N to the engine room, where the rest of the firefighters are, except for the captain. Introducing her to the others, the group start talking and laughing together, getting along instantly.
“Get in line, 19!” A shout comes from the other side of one of the engines. While going go her place in line, Y/N frowns. The voice sounds oddly familiar. Then, Maya comes up from behind the engine. Y/N’s eyes widen. “We have a new firefighter with us,” Maya’s eyes are trained on the clipboard in her hands, “please give a warm welcome to…” Her eyes meet Y/N’s. “Y/L/N.” Shaking off her surprise, she clears her throat. “Get back to work. Y/L/N, a quick word before you get into action?”
Nodding, Y/N follows Maya into her office. Her heart is beating fast. Truth to be told, she thought she’d never see her again. It was supposed to be a casual one night stand, nothing more.
Maya closes the door and shuts the blinds. They stare at each other, just a bit too close to each other. “This is your new job?” She whispers.
“Yes.” Y/N’s eyes dart over the office. “I didn’t realize you’d be my boss.” She frowns. “I didn’t know you are a firefighter as well.”
Maya sighs, setting her palm over her mouth, calculating the situation. “Okay.” She mumbles, “this,” pointing between themselves, “whatever we did last night, can’t happen again. Are we clear on that?”
“Yes, captain.”
“Good. Go, before any of them start wondering.” Maya opens the door, closing it after Y/N is out the door. “Shit.”
Maya coughs quietly as she walks into the kitchen, making herself known to Andy and Y/N, who are eating and talking together. She goes to the fridge, glancing at the two too many times to say it’s a normal amount. When they laugh, Maya turns to look at them.
“What are we talking about?” Her brows are raised and mouth is in a tight lipped smile. With an apple in hand, she goes to sit down right next to Y/N.
“Just sharing firehouse stories.” One of Y/N’s elbows is leaning on the table, so she could be closer to Andy, who is sitting opposite of her. “Do you have any juicy ones?” She grins.
Humming, Maya leans against the back of her chair, her eyes still stuck on Y/N. This catches Andy’s attention. “Andy destroyed a cop’s car on one of our calls. That cop was also her old boyfriend.”
“Really?” Y/N turns to look at Andy.
“I didn’t destroy it. I just pushed it out of a fire hydrant’s way. That’s on him.” Andy points at her, as if strengthening her point. “Besides, don’t you tell juicy stories about yourself?”
“Ooh, I’d like to hear those.” Raising her brows, Y/N looks at Maya.
Maya grins, but shakes her head. Her eyes still haven’t left Y/N. ”But please, tell me your stories.” When the conversation starts flowing between her and Y/N, Andy studies the two.
The looks they give each other, the small accidental touches Maya does, their tone, it’s all something you wouldn’t normally see between two coworkers. Even friends don’t act like that.
They’re definitely something more.
“Well, I think my break is over, so I have to get back to desk duty.” Y/N smiles, bringing her plate over to the dishwasher. “It was nice talking to you two.” She waves before walking back downstairs.
Andy leans on the table, bringing herself close to Maya so she can talk quietly. “So, what’s the deal between the two of you?” She wiggles her brows.
“Nothing.” Maya states quickly. Too quickly. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Oh, come on! That tension almost pushed me out of the room.”
Maya averts her eyes from Andy, she knows the lieutenant can read her well, they’ve been friends for a while now. She sighs. “We…hooked up, before I knew she’d be working here.”
Making a long ooh sound, Andy giggles. “Now that’s a juicy story.”
“It was a one time thing. It won’t happen again, it can’t happen again.
“What do you mean? You clearly have a thing for her!”
“I’m her captain.” Maya whisper shouts.
“So?”
Staring at her, Maya scoffs, not understanding how Andy isn’t getting it. “So? So I could jeopardize both of our careers!”
“Or maybe you wouldn’t. Don’t you at least want to try?” Andy grabs Maya’s hand over the table. “You deserve to be happy.”
Maya leans her head backwards, groaning. “I have to tell her, don’t I?”
“If you don’t someone else will. She’s great.”
Giving Andy a glare, Maya stands up from the chair and jogs downstairs where Y/N is looking through files while waiting for the phone to ring. She watches her from the stairs, slowing her pace in the last ones as if not to disturb Y/N’s work.
“Hey.” Maya announces herself, stopping right next to Y/N.
“Hi.” She smiles, glancing at her before turning back to work.
Her finger taps the table quietly. Maya is trying to think how to word the thoughts and feelings in her head the best way. After all, she was the one who said they can’t do anything again, and now she has to go back in her words. What if Y/N already found someone else?
“So,” Maya starts, making Y/N look back at her. She hums, realizing she still doesn’t know what to say. “Can I talk to you in my office?”
Y/N frowns, going through everything she’s done during the few months she has worked there. “Sure.” Standing up, she follows Maya into the office. “Have I done something?”
“No.” Maya closes the blinds. “I just wanted to tell you something.” Y/N stays quiet, giving all the time she needs to gather up her thoughts. “I realize I’m the one who said we can’t continue whatever we had going on, but, I have changed my mind.” The words coming out of her mouth are said slower than usual, with more pauses between them. “I like you and would like to try us out.”
Y/N smiles. “I’d like that too.”
“But we can’t tell anyone, except Andy kind of already knows.”
“You got it,” laughing Y/N opens the door, “captain.” With a wink, she goes back to the desk, answering a phone call coming through.
The siren goes off. “Engine 19, ladder 19, aid car 19 requested at the scene, building complex fire.” Y/N runs from upstairs, hopping right into her boots, putting on her suit. She grabs her helmet and climbs into the truck. As the doors shut, Andy starts driving, the other cars following behind her.
The ride to the apartment complex isn’t long, they’re jumping out of the cars after ten minutes of driving. “Okay, 19! Y/L/N and Herrera fire attack, Montgomery and Hughes set up a triage, Gibson, Warren and Miller search and rescue. Get going!” Maya orders as they all get out of the cars.
Y/N and Andy put on their full gear and grab everything they need, before running inside. Going up some stairs, they get to the fire. The hallways are full of fire, so they stay close to each other, at times knocking on the doors and yelling everyone to come out, though it seems mostly empty.
“Over here!” Andy shouts, showing Y/N to turn left with her arm. Y/N follows behind her, squinting her eyes as if it’d help her see better. Her breathing stays calm even when they hear some parts of the roof come down. She knows her oxygen is limited.
Extinguishing one of the fires that has roamed from the original burnin place, they continue forward. Suddenly they hear faint screaming coming from one of the apartments.
“This is Seattle fire department, shout so we can find you!” Andy shouts, pounding on the doors on her way. They listen for the screams, getting closer to the origin of it.
Y/N stops in front of a door with debris in front of it. “It’s coming from here.” She stops Andy, both starting go lift the wood in front of it.
“Gibson, Miller, where are you? We found a person.” Andy talks into the radio as they make their way inside. They find a woman huddled near the door. “We need search and rescue on the sixth floor, does anyone copy?”
“Hey, everything is okay.” Y/N kneels next to her. “We’ll get you out of here.”
Andy groans. “Gibson and Miller are stuck on third floor getting people out.”
Biting the inside of her cheek, Y/N thinks while helping the woman up. “Take her down, I’ll stay here to put out the rest of the fires.”
“What? No!” Andy grabs Y/N’s arm. “The visibility isn’t good, you’ll get lost alone.”
“You need to get her down! She won’t survive up here for long without any gear.” Y/N pushes the woman to Andy. “Get away from here!”
Cursing, Andy takes hold of the woman and leaves. Y/N goes the opposite way, trying to find the rest of the fires. The visibility has gotten even lower. The fires are worsening.
She grunts, extinguishing another fire. A loud crash shakes the upper part of the building, throwing Y/N down to the floor. With a few deep breaths, she gets back up again. Glancing behind her, her heart drops. The way out is blocked.
“Y/L/N, what was that? Are you alright in there?” Maya’s voice comes through the radio.
“I’m okay, but my exit is blocked.” She walks forward, looking for another way out. “Did Herrera and the woman make down safely.”
“They’re down here. Can you find another exit?”
“I’m trying.” Her speed is starting to get slower. The debris on the floor and the heavy smoke are making it difficult to find her way. “Come on.” She mumbles.
Her breath hitches. This isn’t the first time she has had a close call during putting out fires, but this is starting to feel a lot worse than just a close call. When the door forward doesn’t budge, Y/N rams her shoulder into it. And it opens. But a burst of fire comes through, throwing her backwards.
She coughs loudly, feeling the air leaving her lungs. “I found the origin of the fire.” She heaves to the radio. “I don’t think I can put it out. My extinguisher is almost empty and there isn’t one nearby.” Gasping for air, Y/N tries to stand up, but a metallic part of the roof has trapped her leg.
“I don’t care about the fire, you need to get out of there!” Maya’s voice is starting to sound more panicked by the second. “Y/L/N can you hear me?”
“I don’t have a way out.” She mumbles. “My exits are either blocked by fire or debris.” Glancing at her leg, she debates telling about it, deciding against it. “I don’t know if I can get out.”
“Don’t you say that!” Maya commands the other firefighters to do something, but Y/N can’t hear clearly what. “Tell me your exact location.”
“Sixth floor, east side of the building.”
“You need to jump.” Maya states. The radio is starting to turn into static. “We’re inflating the air cushion right now, I just need you to hang on a little bit more until they’re ready.” Y/N breathes heavily. “Do you hear me? That’s an order!”
“Copy that, captain.” Whispering, Y/N puts her radio down.
She sits up and starts pushing the metal piece. Groaning in pain. Her breathing is starting to pick up from the heat. She knows there isn’t more air left in her tank. With a scream, the metal piece is finally off her foot. Tears are starting to gather in her eyes. Whether they’re from the heat or pain or frustration, Y/N doesn’t know. Maybe from all of them.
Using the rest of the extinguisher, she puts out the fire closest to her. Crackling sounds have started to come from the biggest fire. “Is the cushion ready?”
“Any second!” She can hear Maya throw commands around, her voice loud and frustrated. The tension is high. Everyone can hear their conversation through the radios. ”I need you to get ready, the c-“
The radio shuts down. “Maya? Maya!” Y/N yells to the radio, but no luck. No one can hear her anymore.
With her last bite of strength, Y/N stands up. She backs up to the wall, mostly hopping. Her leg can’t hold any weight without agonizing pain. It must be broken.
She counts to three and starts running towards the window. Yelling in pain. She can’t get enough speed without using both of her legs. There’s a loud explosion. The fire is creeping closer to her in a quick speed.
Right when the fire licks the back of her jacket, Y/N bursts through the window, the fire coming out right behind her. She can feel the heat. All she can do is hope she’ll land safely.
All she can see is the sky and the fire. She knows she’s falling down, but somehow she can’t feel it. Black spots are clouding her vision. For the moment she doesn’t feel any pain. Soon after, she doesn’t feel anything.
“Y/N! Y/N!” Maya steps on the side of the cushion to bring it down. With some struggle, she makes her way over to Y/N. “No, no, no.” She mumbles after noticing the firefighter in front of her is unconscious. “I need an aid car right now!”
Andy appears right next to her. Together they pull Y/N down from the cushion and straight into a stretcher. Noticing the fear in Maya’s face, Andy grabs her radio. “We need to go! 23 and 15 have to finish this.”
Station 23 is already blasting water at full speed towards the fire, while most of 15 are helping people in the triage. Maya and Andy get into the back of the aid car with Y/N, while Victoria and Travis are at the front. The rest are driving the truck behind them after getting the green light from the captains of 23 and 15.
They arrive to the hospital quickly, where a group of doctors take the lead of the situation, bringing Y/N to a trauma room, while the firefighters get taken into a separate room where they can wait.
Maya paces around the room. Her face is hard. The other are sitting, waiting worriedly for any kind of news. It’s already been an hour and they’re getting more worried. “Maya,” Andy whispers, trying to get her attention, “Sit down.”
“I can’t sit down.” Maya grumbles, her arms crossed over her chest.
“She’ll be okay, Maya, they j-“
“And what if she won’t be okay?” Her loud voice grabs everyone’s attention. They’re surprised by the outburst. Of course, they are all incredibly worried, but Maya seems terrified. “What if she dies, huh? She can’t die!”
Victoria scrunches her brows. “Maya, she won’t die. They have the best doctors here. She’ll be fine.”
Maya scoffs and shakes her head. “She can’t die.” Her voice cracks and face falls from the hard exterior.
“Maya.” Ben says quietly. “Are you two-?” He doesn’t finish the sentence, but everyone knows what he is asking.
Stopping her pacing, Maya stares at the wall in front of her. They wait for her answer, though they can already guess what is it. Andy watches her with a frown. “Yes.” Maya sniffs, going back to her walking back and forth. No one says anything after that.
Soon after that, Doctor April Kepner, a trauma surgeon, walks into the room. Everyone stands up, wanting to know how their friend is. “Y/N Y/L/N is finally put of surgery, she had a broken leg and some complications from close proximity with fire, but, she is okay.”
Everyone is relieved. Some of them laugh in happiness. “Can we see her?” Maya asks right away.
April nods, “one at a time preferably to give her some space.” Andy sets her hand on Maya’s back, nodding at her. Maya smiles and follows April into the room they’re keeping Y/N in. “Someone will come check up on her in a while.” She says, opening the door fro Maya before leaving to give them privacy.
Taking a deep breath, Maya walks in. She wipes her palms to her pants before sitting to the chair next to the bed. Y/N hasn’t opened her eyes yet, but her chest moving up and down gives Maya comfort. She grabs her hand.
Y/N lets out a groan as she wakes up. She opens her eyes slowly and turns to look at Maya. “Hey.” She smiles. Her voice is still weak and hoarse, but it sounds better than before.
“Hi.” Maya is sitting at the edge of her seat. “You scared me.” Her thumb rubs the back of Y/N’s hand.
She giggles, but starts coughing at the middle of it. Maya stands up, she pours water to a mug and helps Y/N drink it. “Sorry.” She mumbles as Maya puts the glass away.
“Don’t apologize.” Maya sits back down, this time to the side of the bed. “You almost died.” She whispers. Tears are gathering in her eyes as she finally internalizes what happened. “I thought you died.”
“I’m okay.” Y/N grabs Maya’s hand with a smile. There’s still pain when she moves too much, but she masks it not to worry her.
Shaking her head, Maya tightens the hold on Y/N’s hand. “You could’ve died and then I would’ve never gotten the chance to tell you I love you.”
They stare at each other with wide eyes. Maya is nervous. She wasn’t sure she’d actually say it out loud, but now it feels like a weight has been lifter off of her chest. “I love you too.” Y/N smiles.
Maya grins, leaning down and leaning her hands on the bed, leaving Y/N’s head between them. Gently, she kisses her, careful not to put any extra weight on her. Y/N’s hair goes to Maya’s hair. When they pull away, they stay close to each other.
“You better not pull anything like that again, that is an order.” She mumbles.
“Heard loud and clear, captain.” Y/N grins, kissing her again before pushing her away. “Now please, I want to see the others too.”
“Yeah,” Maya stands up, “they were really worried too. You’re part of out family after all.” Y/N watches her leave the room with a smile on her face, glad to have a roomful of people behind her.

“Male, 35, GSW on his abdomen, unconscious at the scene but woke up in the ambulance.” Ben shouts outs as he and two doctors wheel the gurney inside the hospital.
“What happened?” Y/N asks, staying outside, though ready to go in if extra hands were needed.
“Attempted break in, homeowner shot him.” Andy explains, pushing the ambulance doors shut.
Humming, Y/N glances towards the road. “Is there anyone else coming in?” Andy shakes her head with a slight smile. “Boring.” She cringes instantly after the word leaves her mouth. “I hear what I said.”
Andy laughing pulls Maya’s attention away from the wheel. She opens the door and turns her head towards them, her eyes widening the moment she notices Y/N.
“Quiet day, huh, Doctor Y/L/N? Want me to bump my head into something so you get something to do?”
“Please, Andy, I’m so bored.” She groans, looking at the lieutenant with desperation in her eyes. “I need brains to poke.”
Shaking her head, Andy smiles. As she opens her mouth to answer, Ben walks out of the hospital. “Lets go Herrera and Warren.” Maya shouts out, closing the driver’s seat door.
“Sorry Y/N, I’ll see you later, yeah?”
“Yep! I’ll be at Joe’s today if you want to join me.” Y/N smiles and starts backing away from the aid car. “Warren! The lack of date nights you and Bailey have is starting to affect the rest of us. Fix it.” She half playfully commands with a slight smirk and one of her brows raised.
“Copy that Y/L/N.” Ben chuckles before climbing to the back of the car.
“Who was that you were talking to?” Maya asks, her eyes locked on to the road to seem as nonchalant as possible.
“Dr Y/N Y/L/N, a neurosurgeon, also a friend of mine.”
“Huh.”
Andy looks at the side of Maya’s face with furrowed brows. “Why?” The blonde shrugs, making Andy gasp. “You’re interested in her!”
“No, I didn’t say that.”
“You didn’t need to. If you want to, I can totally set you two up. She’s single.” She wiggles her brows with a giddy smile, always happy to play matchmaker to her two closest friends. “Ooh this is so exciting!” Clapping her hands together, Andy celebrates the revelation and takes her phone out to start texting.
“Andy, no. Do not set me up with her, you hear me?”
With a grin, Andy turns to look at Maya. “She’ll be at Joe’s this evening if you want to accidentally bump into her there.”
“I won’t.”
“Okay.” Andy grins.
“You’re interested in Doctor Y/L/N?” Ben pipes up from the back, having heard the entire conversation.
Maya lets out a short breath. “I am not interested in anyone, I don’t have time for that.”
“You had time for Jack.” Andy mumbles, which makes Ben let out a quiet oooh sound.
“Okay, first of all, that wasn’t a thing. We had fun for a short time, I didn’t get engaged to him.”
“Okay, now.” Andy points a finger towards a slightly grinning Maya. “That was uncalled for. That- I was a different person back then.” There wasn’t any tension between them, they were able to tease each other about these things now. “Just go see her, I think you two would like each other.”
Maya groans, pacing in front of Joe’s door. She isn’t sure if she should go in, and the fight inside her head isn’t helping her at all. She wasn’t going to go there, but she happened to walk past the bar and started wondering what would happen if she does go.
Pulling her shoulders back to straighten her back, Maya grips the handle and opens the door, stepping inside.
As she walks to the bar top, her eyes wonder around the room, looking for the one she is there for. She notices Y/N sitting at a small table near the dart board.
Clearing her throat, Maya orders a drink and walks over to her. “Hey, you’re Doctor Y/L/N, right? Andy’s friend.”
“Hi!” A bright smile appears to her face as she turns to look at Maya. “I am, and you’re Captain Bishop. Wanna sit down?”
Maya nods with a grin before sitting down opposite of her. ”Andy speaks very highly of you. How long have you known each other?”
“Does she now?” Y/N giggles. “I met her when I was in med school, so, for a long time. Now tell me, in what context have you two been talking about me?”
With a chuckle, Maya tilts her head. “In good context.”
“Ooh, that’s not gonna be enough.”
“Maybe I’ll keep it to myself for now, I don’t want you walking away just yet.”
“Using my nosiness against me, I like it.” She smirks, taking a sip of her drink. “Is this one of your captain moves?”
Maya shrugs. “I could show you my captain moves, if you’d like to come home with me.” She leans her elbows to the table so she could be closer to Y/N. There’s a constant sly smile on her face as she stares at Y/N, studying her expression.
“Well, I can’t say no to Captain Maya Bishop, can I? However, I don’t do things once and then run away.”
“I’ll take you to dinner.”
“Lovely.” Y/N smiles and lets the rest of her drink slide down her throat before standing up. “Lets go then.” She gives her hand for Maya to grab, which she does as she leads them out of the bar.

Y/N takes a few deep breaths as she waits for her turn in the backstage area. She’s going through her lines in her head, making sure she won’t forget anything once she steps on the small stage, even though this isn’t the opening night.
She has been part of a youth theatre group for over two years now, and this is the first time she has gotten the lead role. Her nerves are high, but so is her excitement. This is a big moment for her, she is proud of herself, and she really hopes her moms will be proud of her too.
As her costar finishes their line, Y/N rolls her shoulders back, straightens her posture, and walks out to the stage. She starts speaking her lines to the audience, not yet acknowledging the other actor on the stage, this is her character’s inner monologue.
Her eyes scan over the crowd of people as discreetly as possible. There isn’t one empty chair in the room. This play became fairly popular after getting a spot in the local newspaper. She showed the page to her moms, practically glowing with pride. Her face isn’t showing any changes, but her mind is turning blue. Her mothers aren’t here. It is the last show, and her mothers aren’t here.
Still, she continues on. And she does wonderfully. All the teens come up to the stage at the end and take a bow as they listen to the applause with wide smiles. Someone’s parent brought everyone flowers, and it makes Y/N bitter, but she smiles and thanks them, her grip tight on the bouquet.
After changing out of her costume and packing her things, Y/N walks back home. It’s only a fifteen minute walk, so she is unlocking the front door by no time.
“I’m home!” She yells out, shutting the door and throwing her keys on the table in the hallway. “Anybody here?” Kicking off her shoes, she walks deeper into the house, only to find it empty.
Y/N sighs and walks into her room. She should’ve expected this. Both of her moms have demanding jobs, they won’t be able to attend to all of her achievements..or any of them.
This is just how it is.
Y/N’s hand shakes as she holds onto a piece of paper. It’s already crumbled by her grip, but she makes sure the text in it is still readable. Her body continues moving slightly, either from nerves or the uncomfortable feeling of the hard plastic chair she is sitting on.
She lets out a quiet sigh. Her turn is coming up. Soon, she will have to get up in front of all her peers and their parents, and give a speech that she wrote. Of course, Y/N accepted this responsibility when her teacher came up to her and said they believe her to be the best person for the job. And who is Y/N to say no to that? An adult figure comes to her and gives her a compliment, basically telling her they’re proud of her. She craves that. She needs it.
A round of applause brings her back to the moment. The teacher in front of the microphone is looking at her with a smile on their face, they’re signaling it’s her turn next.
Taking a deep breath, she straightens her posture and listens to the teacher’s introduction of her. After it, she stands up and walks in front of the microphone, thanking them for this opportunity.
Her eyes glance over everyone in the room. She doesn’t see her moms, but Y/N doesn’t panic. They have to be in the back, maybe they got in late, she reminded them of this event too many times for them to not show up.
She unwraps her paper and places it on the stand. “Good morning, students and parents. I’m thankful to be up here today, especially when knowing my school days are minimal.” She smiles. “The last months of school are scary, I’m sure many of my peers agree, there’s so much uncertainty in change. What am I supposed to do after? Where do I go? Who am I?”
Y/N takes a deep breath, “I don’t know what I want to do with my future. The fear of not being or doing something great debilitates me, because wouldn’t it be a waste of a life if I never did something memorable.” Her eyes stay on the audience, only occasionally glancing down at her paper. She has memorized this speech. “My moms change lives everyday, one of them is a firefighter and the other is an OB-GYN, she literally brings new life into this world.” She giggles quietly, though her worries are growing by the minute. Her moms are nowhere to be seen.
“You’d think that with parents like that, my need to change the world would be bigger. But they’re actually the reason why they shrink every day. They tell me that life isn’t about doing something big and great that future generations will remember you for. It’s about love, friends, family, the goodness of your heart, it’s about making yourself proud.” Y/N turns the page around. “My mother Maya tells me to imagine being with little me and telling her about my life. Would she be happy? Would her eyes shine in wonder because she knows I haven’t forgotten her?”
Swallowing, her eyes cast down. She’s gripping the sides of the paper tighter now. Her moms aren’t here. “I would like to say yes. Because even though I haven’t always done the right thing, she would still hug me and tell me it’s okay, because I’m still me, no matter what. You know why?” She looks at the audience with a lopsided smile, “because even though I can’t always recognize my reflection in the mirror, my laugh is still the same horrible cackle I had as a kid.” There are some laughs in the audience, especially from her friends, who have heard her laugh before.
“So, change is scary and you’ll probably never figure out who you truly are. But that’s okay, the little kid you imagine sitting next to you knows, and they think you’re pretty great.” Y/N folds her paper and gives the audience a bright smile. “Thank you again for giving me this opportunity, I hope you all have a great day, and remember to stay true to yourself.” The audience starts clapping and Y/N walks back to her seat.
“That was awesome!” One of her friends whispers, holding her arm with so much excitement.
“My moms aren’t here.” Is the only thing Y/N whispers back.
“Oh shit,” her friend frowns, “I’m sorry.”
She shrugs and gives her a small smile. “It doesn’t matter.” With that, she turns back to the teacher who has gone back to the microphone.
It’s already two in the night and Y/N is still up. She is sitting on the couch, watching the television while she waits for her moms to come back home from work. They wouldn’t like her being awake this late, but she doesn’t care. She is angry, and sad, and she needs to yell to someone, preferably her moms.
The front door opens quietly after twenty minutes, it’s her moms trying to come in without waking up sleeping Y/N. Their steps sound slow and sluggish, but they’re still giggling together. Somehow it angers Y/N even more.
“What are you still doing up?” Maya is the first one to come to the living room, though Carina is right behind her. “Is everything okay?” She drops her bag down to the floor before sitting on the other couch.
“Where were you?”
Carina looks confused, “we were at work, mia cara.”
Y/N scoffs, “my school event was today.” She states, glaring at her mothers. “You know, the one where I held a speech that I wrote. I reminded you about it like a million times!”
“Oh, honey,” Maya sighs, “we told you we’d try to get out of work for it, but you know how our jobs are.” She looks genuinely remorseful, but none of that matters to Y/N at this moment.
“It doesn’t look like you tried hard enough. I first told you about it months ago! They couldn’t give you one day off with that much notice?”
“Do you think we wanted to miss it?”
“Well it sure looks like you didn’t care about it, or me for that matter.”
“Y/N-“
Carina tries to speak up, but Y/N doesn’t let her speak, “no! I do think you wanted to miss this, I think you’ve wanted to miss every single event I’m in. You know why?” Her brows are raised as she stands up. “I don’t remember what the last important event of mine was where you actually showed up. You’ve missed all of my plays, my school events, sports games, everything. You’re never there! Nor are you ever here. You guys never have time to talk to me, or, or help me with my homework.” Her speech is starting to get faster and tears are starting to gather in her eyes. “I doubt you even know what’s going on with my life anymore!”
Maya and Carina try to defend themselves, but nothing comes out of their mouths. Y/N is right. Even they can’t remember the last time they spent proper quality time with their daughter.
“So what’s your excuse, huh? You don’t care about me anymore? You don’t want me anymore?” She shrugs, sniffling quietly. “I’d rather know than wonder why my moms don’t make time for me anymore.”
The hurt and vulnerability in her voice breaks Maya and Carina’s heart. Their daughter should never have to doubt their love for her. “I’m so sorry, love.” Maya stands up, taking a few steps forward. “We’re both so sorry. We just- I guess we didn’t realize how much time we were spending at work.”
Carina stands up and pulls Y/N into an embrace, which she resist at first, but gives up and leans in right after. “I’m sorry, mia cara, I’m sorry. You’re my baby and I love you more than anything else in the world.” Carina whispers, tears falling down her cheeks. “You’re right, we haven’t been very good moms lately, but I promise you that will change, okay? We will do better.” She pulls away, setting her palms on both of Y/N’s cheeks to look at her face. She can’t stand seeing it with such a painful expression, especially one that she caused.
“You’re just saying that.” Y/N’s voice is more quiet now, her anger having turned to sadness.
“We’re not.” Maya states with a firm tone, setting her hand on Y/N’s shoulder. “We will start taking days off work, you’re more important. Do you think you could hold your speech for us now?”
Y/N shakes her head, looking down. “I don’t think I want to, not today at least.”
“Okay,” Maya frowns but she understands, “some other day then.”
“Yeah,” biting the inside of her cheek, Y/N wipes the wetness off of her cheeks, “do you think I could sleep in your bed this night?”
“Yes, yes, of course.” Carina wraps one of her arms around Y/N as the three of them start walking towards the master bedroom.
They change into their pajamas and do the rest of their evening routine in silence. Y/N is the first one to climb onto the bed, already getting under the covers while her mothers whisper in the bathroom. She’s already half asleep when they turn off the lights and limb onto the bed, sandwiching her.
Carina starts playing with Y/N’s hair while Maya wraps her arms around her. “We love you so so much, you know that, right?” Her voice is quiet, not wanting to disturb her.
“Usually,” Y/N’s eyes are already closed, “but sometimes I doubt it. I really love you guys too.” She whispers.
Maya tightens her hold at the words. They pain her, but she doesn’t have anyone else to blame but herself. “We’ll make sure to remind you everyday.” The two women kiss Y/N’s forehead, saying their goodnights when they notice their daughter’s tiredness.
In their heads, they both vow to make Y/N feel more loved and cared for than she ever has.

Maya, Carina, and Y/N are walking along a small park near their home. The sun is setting down alongside a hill, and the cool autumn air is moving the few already fallen leaves around. There aren't many clouds in the sky, making the brightest stars already visible on the evening sky.
Y/N smiles, closing her eyes as she takes a deep breath, smelling the fresh air around them. They all wanted to get out of the house, starting to feel a little like the walls were falling down on them, especially Y/N, as she doesn't have the same crazy schedules as her girlfriends.
"Want to go up the hill to see the sunset better?" Maya asks, knowing how much Y/N enjoys seeing the sky change its colors.
They all decide it's a good idea, so they start to walk towards the hill. From further away, it deosn't seem like a too big of a climb. However, as they continue walking, Y/N can properly see how steep the hill is. She can feel her breathing get heavier and quicker the moment they step foot on the base of the hill, but she doesn't say anything. It's just a hill, she feels embarrased to struggle while her girlfriends walk on with ease. At the middle of the hill, Y/N's pace begins to slow down. Her breaths in and out are short and quick paced, but she makes them as quiet as possible so Maya and Carina wouldn't hear. She continues pushing on.
Right before the top, the hill becomes even steeper. Maya and Carina are already at the top, enjoying the way the sun is painting the sky. At the last steps, Y/N's breathing turns audibly wheezy, getting her girlfriends' attention. They walk over to her, worry clear on their faces as they try to ask Y/N what's wrong, but she can't hear properly through the thumping in her ears.
She feels Carina’s hands gently pushing her to the ground. She sits down, her panicked eyes moving between Carina and Maya. “I c-“ she gasps, her lungs feeling like they’re collapsing, “I can’t breathe.”
“You have to calm down, bellezza.” Carina rubs her back, while Maya helps her take off the tight shirt she is wearing. “Take long and deep breaths for me.”
Y/N follows Carina’s instructions to the best of her abilities. It takes a while for her breathing to settle down, which scares both Maya and Carina, as they’ve never experienced something like this with Y/N.
Once Y/N’s breathing is normal, though slightly heavier, Maya grabs her still shaking hand. “What happened?”
“I have asthma.” Y/N tells with a sheepish look on her face.
Her girlfriends look shocked, and slightly alarmed they weren’t made aware of her condition. “Where’s your inhaler?” Maya is frowning.
“I don’t have one.” She mumbles, biting her lower lip. “Well I do, but I haven’t picked up my new dose yet.”
“That could’ve ended very badly, bellezza.” Carina sets her hands on Y/N’s cheeks, making her look at her. “You have to tell us these things so we know what to do when something like this happens. You also need to have an inhaler with you at all times.” Her doctor voice comes out, which Y/N usually finds very attractive, but right now she just feels like a scolded child.
“I know. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you.”
Maya helps Y/N up, giving back her shirt that she slips on. “Tomorrow morning, we’ll go and get it right when the pharmacy opens.” She states, leaving no room for negotiation.
Y/N nods with a small smile, her gaze moving to the sky. “The sun has already set.” She pouts, feeling guilty they missed it because of her attack.
“It sets every night, we’ll catch it again.” Carina tubs her back while they start walking down the hill and back to their house, now in a much slower pace. “But lets not up that hill again.” She grins, kissing Y/N’s cheek.

Looking around the downstairs of the firehouse, Y/N has an impressed look on her face as she nods. “Your girlfriend is the captain of this place?” She peeks into the barn where the firetrucks are located, letting out a small ooh sound.
“Yes.” Carina laughs, her brows raised as she stares at her younger sister. “You like it?”
“Yeah, it’s cool.” She shrugs, trying to seem nonchalant, but Carina knows her sister.
Grabbing her arm, Carina starts leading her upstairs. “Let’s go, they’re cooking dinner and we’re joining them.”
Y/N gasps. “Is this one of those situations where your girlfriend tries to make a good impression on me, because you won’t date someone who doesn’t get along with me?” The words come out quickly, at times stumbling over them.
“No.”
“It totally is.”
With a sigh, Carina rolls her eyes. It is that kind of situation. She just doesn’t want to feed Y/N’s ego by letting her know how valuable her opinion is to her. But she knows.
When they walk into the kitchen, Y/N notices Carina’s girlfriend stiffing a pot, having seen a picture of her, but she isn’t the one who takes her attention. A brunette setting the table is. It’s like she can’t take her eyes off of her.
“Carina!” Maya exclaims when she notices them. “You’re here early.” She turns off the stove and walks over to the two, wiping her palms to her pants first.
“Our shift ended early.” Carina kisses her before pulling her near Y/N. “This is Y/N, my sister. This is Maya, my girlfriend.”
“Hi!” Smiling, Y/N shakes Maya’s hand. “Nice to finally meet the famous Captain Maya Bishop. Carina talks about you all the time. Maya is so hot. Maya is so muscular. Look at this picture of h-”
“Y/N!” Carina slaps the back of her head. Giggling, she steps away from Carina’s reach, rubbing the spot she got slapped on. “Behave.”
She rolls her eyes. Maya looks between the two, not sure how she should react to the two sisters. “Uh, it’s great to meet you too.” She points behind her, where the rest of the team is, introducing everyone to Y/N. They all wave and smile, saying their his, but Andy walks up to them.
“Hi!” She shakes Y/N’s hand. “You’re doctor too?” Andy looks at the white doctor’s coat she is wearing.
“Yes, I didn’t want to be the family disappointment by not becoming a doctor.” Carina glares at her, but Y/N ignores her. “I’m in general.”
“Awesome.”
The two stand a little bit too close to each other for someone who just met each other, but the others pay no mind to it. They just finish cooking the food and gather around the table, immeasurable bombarding Y/N with questions.
She answers to them to the best of her ability, though most of her attention is on Andy.
Humming quietly to herself, Y/N looks through the patient files on the tablet. She keeps glancing at her phone, frowning when there’s no new notifications. Her and Andy have been texting nonstop ever since they met, but now, Andy hasn’t answered to her in hours. Usually it doesn’t take her that long even if she’s working.
With a sigh, Y/N pockets her phone and sets the tablet down to a table. She has a surgery in half an hour, but until then there’s really nothing to do.
“Y/N!”
She turns towards the sound, her brows furrowing once she notices Andy walking towards her. “What are you doing here?” She meets her halfway. “Did something happen?”
“There was an accident during a call, but I-“
“Are you okay?” Y/N’s eyes start going up and down Andy’s body, looking for any significant injuries. She has a bandaid near her eye, but nothing else catches her attention.
“I’m okay. I wanted to see y-“
Y/N interrupts her once again, “are you sure? Did you already see someone? I can page someone over.” She takes out her pager, but Andy grabs her hands.
“Y/N, I’m okay. I wanted to see you, because I need to tell you something.” Nodding, Y/N stays quiet, giving her the space to talk. “I have feelings for you,” she starts, her voice quieter now, “and I would really like to take you out on a date.”
A big smile appears on Y/N’s face. “That’d be nice.”
“Okay, great.” Andy nods, smiling too. They look like two lovesick fools in the middle of the hospital hallway. “I’ll pick you up today at eight?” She raises one of her brows. “Wear something casual.”
“Got it.” Grabbing the tablet again, Y/N starts backing up slowly. “I have a surgery to go to, but I’ll see you today.”
Andy waves with a grin before walking away, feeling victorious.
Knocking on the door frame, Y/N walks into the locker room. “Hi, mi cara.” She smiles when Andy turns around.
“Hey,” she walks over to her and grabs her hand, pulling her deeper into the room to kiss her, “I am so happy to see you here.” Andy grins, moving them towards the rest room.
Y/N giggles. “I’m happy to be here,” she kicks the door closed once they’re inside the room, “the others have already gone home?”
“Yeah,” she kisses her, “we have all the time we need.” Pulling away momentarily, Andy pulls the doctor’s coat off of Y/N. “You look incredibly hot in your scrubs.” She eyes her body up and down.
“Even when I’m all hot and sweaty?”
“Even then.”
Rolling her eyes, Y/N pushes Andy to sit down on the bed before getting on top of her, draping her arms over her shoulders. “You look very hot in your work clothes too.” She mumbles, going back to kissing her.
Andy grabs the sides of her waist so she wouldn’t fall. Y/N’s hands are about to go down to the hem of Andy’s shirt, but the sound of the door opening interrupts them.
“Y/N?”
Their heads snap towards the now open door, where Maya and Carina are standing, both shocked to see them together.
“Carina!” Y/N struggles to get up from Andy’s lap. “What- what are you doing here?” Andy stands up as well, her eyes wide. Truth to be told, she’s kind of scared of the Italian, especially now that she walked in on them making out.
“What am I doing here? What are you doing?” Her hands start moving in the air. “Since when have you two been together?”
They glance at each other. “Like, six months.”
“Wh-“ Carina groans, throwing her hands in the air while mumbling in Italian, which makes Y/N scrunch up her face. “Six months and you didn’t think to tell me?”
Y/N shrugs, “sorry, there was never really a right time, so, you know,” she glances at Andy, trying to come up with some kind of explanation, “it just never came up.”
Carina has her arms crossed over her chest and her face is in a deadpan look. Maya has a tightlipped smile on her face, “well, I’m happy for you two.” She turns to look at Carina, her brows raised.
With a sigh, Carina walks over to hug Y/N and Andy. “I’m happy too, but you are supposed to tell me things.” She points at Y/N once she has backed away from them, giving Maya room to hug them both.
“I’m not ten anymore.” Y/N smiles, holding Andy’s hand.
“You’re still younger.”
She sighs, but nods, there’s no use to fighting Carina. “We were about to go out to eat, do you want to join us? Or did we interrupt something?” Maya smirks, looking at the jacket still laying on the ground.
“Maya!” Carina looks at her with wide eyes. “That’s my sister.”
“Oh, shut up, you had a study on orgasms.” Y/N picks up her jacket and puts it on. “We’ll join you, but I think we have to change first.” She looks at Maya and Carina’s nice, fancy clothes before turning to her and Andy’s work clothes that they’re still wearing.
“We’ll wait for you in the car,” Maya states while they step out of the room, “don’t take too long!” The door closes.
Andy turns to Y/N. “That’s one way for them to find out.” Laughing, she grabs Y/N’s hips. “I’m guessing you’re borrowing some of my clothes?” She mumbles and smiles when Y/N nods. “I love to see you in my clothes.”
“Don’t start anything now.” Y/N raises her brows, pulling away from Andy to go to her locker and grab some of her extra clothes from there.
“After dinner?”
“Definitely.” She kisses Andy and winks at her, before going to the bathroom to change her clothes, leaving Andy to the locker room with a grin.

Giggling can be heard in the kitchen. Andy and Y/N are cooking together while the other firefighters are working on different tasks. They clicked quickly when Y/N arrived to Station 19 two months ago. She worked as a firefighter before moving to Seattle, but she still hasn’t ranked up to lieutenant, it wasn’t that important to her.
But it is incredibly important to Andy. She wants to become a captain one day, which is why when they started dating a few weeks back, they decided to stay quiet about it.
“Y/N!” Carina exclaims as she and Maya walk into the kitchen, making Andy frown instantly. The couple have been making moves on Y/N, which bothered her, but she knows she has to let it go so they wouldn’t be exposed. “How have you been?”
“Hey, Carina.” She smiles politely. “I’ve been great actually.”
“Seriously great, you should’ve seen her on call last week, incredibly hot.” Maya comments, the last part coming out as a playful whisper.
Y/N giggles and shakes her bead, putting a tray of food into the oven. ”It wasn’t that amazing.” She raises her brows, looking at smirking Maya.
“Oh, I’m sure it was.” Carina comments. She had heard everything about the specific call from Maya.
Andy rolls her eyes. She’s stirring the pot in front of her, out of the conversation, but still hearing all the compliments the couple are throwing in Y/N’s way. Inside her head, she’s mocking every single thing coming out of their mouths.
“I’m very glad that you moved here. I’ve grown very appreciative of watching you work.” Maya says with a certain glint in her eyes.
Carina leans against the counter. “It’s the uniform.”
“Oh, I kn-“
“Could everyone not cooking leave the kitchen, please?” Andy finally speaks up with quite a loud voice, clearly showing her annoyance. Y/N giver her a look, but she ignores it. “We are trying to cook here for everyone and you are being very distracting.”
Maya and Carina glance at each other, but decide to leave the floor so they wouldn’t annoy Andy even more. However, they can’t help but compliment Y/N one last time before doing so.
”Andy…” Y/N turns to look at her, though she just continues cooking normally.
“They were being annoying.” She reasons, turning the stove off.
Sighing, Y/N lays her chin on Andy’s shoulder. “I know. But you can’t yell at them.”
“I did not yell at them.” She turns around and puts her hands on Y/N’s hips. “I just don’t like watching them being like that with you, especially knowing I can’t do anything. And it all feels like it’s my fault.”
“It’s not your fault.” Y/N assures, putting her hands on Andy’s cheeks. “You’re ambitious when it comes to work, I love that. And sadly us being together could jeopardize you getting a promotion, which is why we do this.”
“I know, I know.” Andy groans. She squeezes her hips lightly with a frown on her face. “One day I’m going to trip Maya when she goes down the stairs.” She mumbles quietly, kind of hoping Y/N wouldn’t hear her, but she does, and she gets a disapproving look. “I wouldn’t make her fall! Just stumble a bit.”
“She’s your captain.” Y/N pulls away from her hold and goes to check on the food in the oven, having to bend slightly when doing so.
Andy stares at her. She leans against the counter and smirks. “You do look amazing in the uniform.”
“Shut up!”
A dirty rag flies to her direction, which she luckily dodges while laughing.
With her foot tapping the ground rapidly, Andy listens to the others talk. The whole team, plus Miranda and Carina, are eating dinner together. Which means she is stuck on listening to Maya and Carina try to woo her girlfriend, and after months of constant flirting, she’s getting more than annoyed. They just aren’t getting the hint.
Y/N continues to politely smile and nod as they flirt with her, at times laughing awkwardly. She holds onto Andy’s hand that’s gripping her thigh quite tightly under the table.
Sometimes Victoria and Travis glance at each other with knowing looks when they see either Carina or Maya staring at Y/N, which somehow infuriates Andy even more. Others are noticing the advances they’re making and they aren’t caring that Maya is the captain.
“Are you free this weekend?” Carina asks.
“Uhm,” she has a date night with Andy, “not really.” Y/N smiles slightly.
“Well, if your plans change, you could come over.”
Andy slams her fork to the table. “No, she can’t!” Her voice is loud and strained. Y/N turns to look at her with wide eyes, she tries to shake her head lightly to make Andy stop, but it goes unnoticed.
The table is quiet and everyone is staring at her with perplexed looks. “Herrera.” Maya starts. “Is everything okay?”
“Everything is not okay, because you two,” her finger moves between Maya and Carina, “just won’t stop.”
”Won’t stop what?”
She points at Y/N with wide eyes. “All the- the flirting and you’re so hot in your uniform. We all wear the same uniform!” She groans and throws her hands in the air. Feeling like everyone is looking at her like crazy, she decides to just come out with it. Andy grabs both sides of Y/N’s head with her hands and pulls her into a kiss.
Y/N hums in surprise at the contact, but goes along with it, kissing her back. It feels good to finally have the secret out. All the close calls and staying away from each other were starting to get tired.
Andy pulls away and instantly turns to look at Carina and Maya. “We’re dating, please stop flirting with her.” They both nod, still quite surprised by the outburst. “Thank you.” She grabs Y/N’s hand and pulls her to the locker room, so they could have some privacy.
“That was..something.” She looks at Andy with raised brows.
“I’m sorry.” Andy sighs and sits down to the bench. “I was just so tired of them.”
”It’s okay.” Y/N starts giggling as she sits next to Andy. She isn’t sure if she even should be laughing, but it all just seems hilarious at the moment. Andy scoffs at her, but starts laughing as well.
The laughing gets cut off by Maya and Carina coming into the room with frowns on their faces. They stop in front of the pair. “We just wanted to come here and apologize.” Maya states, looking at Carina who nods.
“We never ever wanted to make you uncomfortable.” Carina adds.
Y/N smiles, accepting the apology. She elbows Andy’s side when she stays quiet. “It’s fine,” she says with an exaggerated sigh, “just don’t flirt with her anymore.”
“We won’t.” Maya chuckles. “Now come on and finish eating you two. I don’t want to see any kind of inappropriate stuff during work hours.” It’s incredibly how her voice turns to the captain voice with a snap of her fingers.
“Copy that, captain.” Y/N grins as they walk back to the dinner table, this time holding each others hands.
