WELL I SEE IT'S TIME TO TALK TATTOOS AGAIN

Holy cats, hoes mad:

I just adore Black&White KM, don't you? Honestly, never yells at me no matter how often I steal their pics, they give out freebies at concerts, they're respectful -- if you're gonna make a living off photographing famous people, do it like they do. Honestly. So they're in Qatar doing their whole job and hoes losing their shit all over the internet, apparently, all because a certain JM is darker. STILL.

This is not a brand new development.

Y'ALL HE DID THIS MONTHS AGO WHY ARE WE JUST NOW FREAKING OUT ABOUT IT?

And completely unedited, unretouched, the JM was darker enough then that I did a whole post about it.

I MEAN DAMN have we not gone over this, like, several times? (In case you're new to this house elf situation we have here, yes. YES WE HAVE.) We have talked about Jungkook's tattoos at GREAT LENGTH. Well, I have, as far back as a while ago, most recently along about here but also here and here and here and several other places. There is zero tag organization in this house, I don't know what else to tell you.

Anywho Jungkook's tats do not, as nearly as I can tell, mean this:

Because, like the nice graphic above says that I just edited, THIS IS FAN-MADE BULLSHIT. I dunno who made it but I suspect the addition of the J upset some folk enough to need to make JeiKei's motivation anything OTHER than Jimin. Because, as we know, he started out with his ink like this:

Yes, that is a pic someone ripped off. I don't like using it. But it's what we have, and it's years later, and it's been out there for a long time, don't shoot. But I have expounded more than once on why it makes NO SENSE to GO BACK LATER to add one letter to a near-complete hand piece. It doesn't. And that A is not, never has been, a V. In Korea you can go literally anywhere and see Samsung logos, Shilla hotel logos, and of course Jimin's dad's cafe' all using that stylized A with no crossbar.

And I think it's pretty clear what JK thinks the JM means. It means Jimin. Ji Min. JM. DUH. And just like his "rather be dead than cool / make hay while the sun shines" crossword ON HIS ARM, he has a crossword on his hand. A very obvious crossword. Who he loves is written for all of us to see: ARMY, and JM. And lest I forget about that crown:

It's THE SAME CROWN. Wanna go one better but likely utter fanfiction, you could even go heart-arrow-crown like so: 💜 > 👑... ... and make that story work. It actually makes more sense than one J for four people and four letters for three. But we're not here for that. Occam's Razor tells us that the simplest explanation is usually the correct one, and the simplest explanation is the one that's got bitches tearing their hair out. Because THEY KNOW. They KNOW that JM means Jimin, and they HATE IT. (And so what, to quote JeiKei directly. We're gonna talk about fan hate today, too, just... not in this post).

MEANWHILE JUNGKOOK is always showing us his hand, too, have you noticed? Ever since he got the tattoos, but I think more in the last year. It's gotten really pronounced since the PTD dates.

Jeon Jungkook does what Jeon Jungkook wants, and what he wants is for us to pick up what he's been throwing down since, oh, FOREVER but even more recently. Like, it's NOTICEABLE, the way he gets that tattoo in frame at every opportunity. I'll run out of image space before he runs out of ways to show us his touched-up hand.

Yeah. I think the fanmade bullshit has been exposed for what it is. Some of us have known it all along, but even if you're baby Army and you accidentally got stuck watching a lot of comic sans rainbow font youtube garbage (or got up on the wrong side of stan twt), there's no shame in that. Because Namjoon LIVES to give the Jeon-Parks hell. He's OWED. They HAVE IT COMING.

And he'll take a Hobi down with 'em if he has to.

Namjoon is for once NOT in the middle, he took the Koo spot in this little 2018 redo, he knows serious shit is coming so he intends to ENJOY THIS. Ten years of Namjoon in the Middle and we all knew payback was coming. Enter this face:

This face is not angry sad pouty Koo. This face is "Babe hey babe. We've discussed this at some length and I know some of those songs are about me. I know you're nervous about them being heard. I am cool with this so I have not invaded your work space. But babe, babe, I am here to bust your balls in public. Look, I'm sitting waaaaayyy over here making you apologize ON CAMERA and you can't do anything about it lol" And Namjoon knew this. Was probably there when Hobi heard "the other" song. One that Jimin told people they could watch him record. Not the important one, apparently. A whole OTHER one. Which Jimin quickly has to specify because he has possibly promised that the important one is only heard by one person not involved in its production in advance.

It's cute and it's one of the truly funny moments of this Festa dinner that will go down in Bangtan lore as "but are they on hiatus or not" (they are, stop redefining actual words, Hybe) but one thing, to me, is certain:

This is not the face of a surprised man. This is the face of an entire brat. A whole tease, even. A whole baby with a new touchup to his JM tattoo. Make of that what you will.

SO you wanna know what I think? I think that, based on recent events and that very queer-coded interview of Jimin's, this focus on solo work is not a bad thing. It really might be coming two years late, but I think it was necessary now. That closet can't stay shut forever. I'm not saying this is a statement or anything but SHUT UP YES I AM LOOK AT THIS SUN AND MOON DUO

And by the waaaaayyyy.... I don't think we've talked enough about that tattoo Jungkook covered up. The photo below was literally in a magazine article about how Jungkook's tattoo was "related to V". UM NO. If it ever was about Taehyung (it wasn't, it's a Korean symbol) it's long gone now. Which you'd think would make a dent in the delusion but it won't, you watch. I'll publish my mail about it maybe.

Of course these are the same people who don't think a touched-up JM means anything and are still screaming into the void about why JeiKei didn't out Jimin's tattoo on VLive (For the last time he did not forget. He just doesn't tell Jimin's stories for him, it's healthy. Try it.)

I think that JeiKei took enough toadlickker crap about that tiger that he decided to LET PEOPLE KNOW ONCE AND FOR ALL. I think Jimin is in on it, DUH, but I also think it's helped to repair his and Tae's friendship. Tae's a good guy to have on your side, but it was never like that with these two. Wait'll you see how he acts with Wooga Squad.

You Know Whose House DID NOT GET Mentioned?

One Park Jimin's. Not once. Not a single time. We know that Joonie lives in a museum (wbk we have seen it in instagram) and Seokjin has a newlywed bright white home with too much gaming space and Yoongi's dad is a man of strong opinions about decorating.

We know that Jungkook has his laundry where his dining room should be and lots of scent diffusers and many, many mattresses, mattresses just everywhere.

We ain't hear shit about Jimin's house. Now that I think about it, we've seen Tae's house and bits of Jungkook's house and/or his brother's house, and Yoongi's apartment and Joon's place. Never Jimin's place (and he does have one, we know that based on media reports of stolen mail). Hobi is also private about his place but we also know the guys have been there. Leave the man alone, he was drinking his feelings okay.

Anyone wanna guess why all the secrecy about Jimin's home and whether it has anything to do with all those mattresses?

It's a thing. Holding wrists and hands in and of itself isn't exclusive to the Jeon-Parks, in BTS. A lot of the guys do it - Yoongi loves to hold hands, and Jimin will hold hands with Hobi or Yoongi or Tae...

Not to say that Jungkook WON'T - but he doesn't do it like Jimin does, and he seems to have a particular fondness for Jimin's wrists and hands. And mostly, it's the wrists. Because wrists are less obvious, I think. Hands are a little more... erogenous. But I did find one shot of Kook holding Hobi's wrist:

Sooo, aside from their bows onstage, most of the hand/wrist action I've been able to find is jikookery, with occasional other pairings. None of the other guys are as consistent as the Jeon-Parks. And the vast majority of the hand-on-wrist action is theirs. Probably because they like the size comparison, you know, for reasons. I suspect it's a bit like running with one's hands tied, or something.

All Right Bitches Let's Talk About Those Gay Peace Signs

I have spent some time on this and have consulted with my personal Board of Queer Directors: The ubiquitous Kevin From Itaewon, his boyfriend X, my best butch lesbian GMoney, a drag queen who goes by Ralph, and my enbyqueer friend Logan. I am the straightest person in this conversation okay and that... well. We are not here talking about me today. I sent out a whole random shit-ton of pics. I had text conversations and phone calls and even a come-over-here-look-at-this session or two. We looked. And the upshot is... This is not a gay peace sign. This is a "you're taking a picture I am doing a thing" sign. These are peace signs being done by a gay (probably) man in a not-especially coded way.

In this picture we have no peace signs but all the gay. There is no actual coding going on but there is no real question either, unless your question is about whether one Jeon Jungkook is going to choke or swallow (behave yourselves). And also whether any of us are meant to survive the Namtiddies:

Now, this picture has peace signs but they are not queer-coded peace signs, they're just taking a picture peace signs. The only queer coding going on here is, as above, coming from the Jeon-Park household. It was unanimous that jikookery was being actively and explicitly jikooked that day. Although Ralph and Kevin both thought Yoongi might have something to say, and to quote G-Money "I'd date that pretty girl in the silver shirt if she wasn't already halfway gay for that thumbs-up chick"... she likes Texas Red Dirt Country music and 80s hair bands. I don't know what you want me to say.

Now, the next two pics were unanimously agreed upon by my panel of flaming experts. And the agreement was that there is very likely some coding, or telegraphing to use KFI's words, going on:

Ralph will tell you that he is a power bottom's power bottom and he is not wrong, he makes a living on it. And he thought this picture was super interesting. Because I really didn't get it. I mean, I GET IT OKAY I get the body language and the eyefucking and the possessive shit. And after this morning's Bangtan Bomb I get it even harder. But Ralphie said that... "Okay these bitches fucking but just in case we didn't know they were a couple and thought they were just hooking up, Jungkook really wants to make it clear here that they are together." And I'm like "the fuck dude to me it looks like Jimin is all up on his dick with the bedroom eyes" and he goes, "Yeah. Looks like it, right. But where are their hands. Who's staring down the camera. Who's flashing the We're Here We're Queer Get Used To It Hand Signal very deliberately, held out in front of him so you don't miss that his other arm is pulling his boy in close to him?" Ralph had really strong feels about this picture. KFI and the rest of 'em had strong feelings about this one:

We have so much going on here. Finger Guns Jin and Thumbs Up Yoongi and a little of the Namjoon version of the Shoulder Grip on Tae, and none of that apparently means dick to the gay boys and girl and them but my whole board of queerectors all said that this is what a queer coded peace sign photo looks like. SO I'M LIKE WHY EXPLAIN THIS TO ME I NEED TO KNOW. And they said, it's because you can't JUST use a peace sign as code in the absence of anything else. For one thing there is apparently a thing with the thumb and ring finger that is sometimes deliberately used in a coding way. But. There have to be other signals. Taken in combination, we have angled hips together, arms around each other (everyone always wants to know where Kookie's other hand is) and the unabashed camera staredown = HI WE'RE GAY AND TOGETHER PLEASE BE AWARE, apparently. Okay. I mean, I can see it when you put it like that. Kev says this shot is heavily coded and I was like "naahhhh really" and he was like "yes bitch really":

And I said well, it's a professional shoot, we don't know if they were asked to do them or if they dressed themselves, I mean we kinda do, they apparently chose the outfits. But KFI and X both said look, you go to dress two Korean straight men in couple fits they are not gonna be that calm about it. Like, protests would be made. But protesting is not what is going on here. They like their clothes, they like each other, they like looking like a couple BECAUSE GUESS WHAT and just in case they are gonna look sexy/possessive and happy/leaning into each other about it. OKAY OKAY DAMN. No need to assault me over here. They also mentioned the ring finger touching the thumb thing again. So I guess that's part of how one tells if a peace sign *means* something, I guess. And when I start looking at pics, well. Interesting. I don't know what it is about ring fingers. Hmmm. One of them has Jimin's name on it though.

Ooohhh, shoulder grip peace sign with the thumb and ring finger all posed properly, I wonder what it could mean when a gay couple acts gay in front of a camera, could they be trying to tell us something? /sarcasm The upshot of this entire educational journey for me is that peace signs in and of themselves are only helpful if you are also picking up the other stuff that is being put down for you. Like, they're fine, clue us in a lil bit if you can't like kiss or something. But if you're gay and in the closet and you just want people to be absolutely sure and your hand on your man's ass isn't getting it done, well look no further than your trusty peace sign.

It’s NOT the Jeon-Parks in the Blind Tattoo studio - IN THE PHOTOS.

In fact the kid I said was brunette is NOT and what we have learned is that YSJ/Jaya is BLIND AF but fortunately I have awesome people like @unlyshedstar to do my damn homework FOR ME. Thank you!

But they are the Jeon-Park autographs and here’s an interesting thing about that.

Now, I have a source telling me that one Mr. Park and his boyfie were getting a little body mod work done recently. But I HAVE NO PROOF. This is as close as I can get to receipts and it’s probably utter crap but anyway

It’s fucking Music Mundial and they couldn’t even get the name of the studio right so I’m guessing they suck worse than I do. But they seem to think the Jeon-Park household has been on a matchy matchy couple tats binge. But they also use stan Twitter for quotes.

Uh, I think it's highly unlikely that Jimin's ear just so happened to get "stuck" BETWEEN JUNGKOOK'S LIPS.

Or that Koo had one extra thing to say that required his lips to just so happen to kiss the shell of Jimin's ear.

I don't think most people who can see clearly would see this moment as anything other than what it was. Where someone lives, Korea or otherwise, has absolutely no bearing on whether JUNGKOOK SUCKED AND KISSED JIMIN'S EAR IN FRONT OF 50,000 PEOPLE.
