You Know Whose House DID NOT GET Mentioned?

One Park Jimin's. Not once. Not a single time. We know that Joonie lives in a museum (wbk we have seen it in instagram) and Seokjin has a newlywed bright white home with too much gaming space and Yoongi's dad is a man of strong opinions about decorating.

We know that Jungkook has his laundry where his dining room should be and lots of scent diffusers and many, many mattresses, mattresses just everywhere.

We ain't hear shit about Jimin's house. Now that I think about it, we've seen Tae's house and bits of Jungkook's house and/or his brother's house, and Yoongi's apartment and Joon's place. Never Jimin's place (and he does have one, we know that based on media reports of stolen mail). Hobi is also private about his place but we also know the guys have been there. Leave the man alone, he was drinking his feelings okay.

Anyone wanna guess why all the secrecy about Jimin's home and whether it has anything to do with all those mattresses?

There are reasonable, well-considered cases for disliking a book, and then there's the reviewer on Goodreads who gave one of Streatfeild's Shoes books one star for having the audacity to turn out to be that detestable, irredeemable thing, a...children's book.

Just finished watching A League of Noblemen (mild spoilers below) and the thing that amuses me the most is the introduction of the main character’s off-screen, never mentioned once, dead wife and apparent son off in the countryside in the literal LAST FIVE MINUTES of the show. It’s such a blatant ‘no homo’ that I can’t stop laughing. (Much worse is the narrative not even giving the two best friends who have shown they are ride or die for each other a reunion after assumed death, what the hell.) 

Like, yes, I understand there is censorship and what not. It’s just so funny to me because like:

1. Have they not realized that literally nothing they do will stop people from shipping whatever the hell they feel like shipping? Why even try? Just give in to the inevitability. 

2. If the show was really worried about homoerotic subtext they could have like, maybe, HAD SOME FEMALE CHARACTERS? Other than the long-dead, perfect, martyred mother character or the old, evil shrew who’s fault everything is? Those two don’t count. Like, you had SIX major male characters you managed to give distinct storylines, characterization, and growth to? With half a dozen other more minor male characters? You couldn’t create a SINGLE woman with her own story line, characterization, and growth that doesn’t up and die or disappear from the narrative as being unimportant? Like, yeah, of course people are going to ship the heck out of these dudes. You brought this on yourselves.
