Could you write something for if Leopold was getting picked on by people and his siblings found out and they helped and comfort Leo?

Hiya! Of course, I apologize that this is so short and took so long but I hope you enjoy 🥰! Oh and to kind of make clear since it isn’t very well stated in this fic: Mereo and Fue have very different definitions of “discipline”. Fue is more, stern talking to, while Mereo is more…well, physical 😆!

“ Big brother! Big Sister!” A young Leopold Vermillion cried as he ran through the halls of House Vermillion. His older siblings suddenly rounded the corner at his shouts and watched as he ran towards them.

“ Leo? What’s going on?” Fuegoleon asked as his younger brother jumped into his arms and cried into his chest, he wrapped his arms around him tightly as he looked at Mereoleona.

“ Don’t look at me, I didn’t do anything.” She defended herself as she crossed her arms, Leo pulled his face away from his brother's chest.

“ I-It wasn’t big sis! It was the other kids!” Leo then began to explain what happened.

He was outside working on his magic when a group of older kids suddenly came up to him and began making fun of him. They began taunting him about how he was the disappointment of House Vermillion and that he would never be as strong and powerful as Mereoleona and Fuegoleon. They then began to belittle his spells and pushed him around as he tried defending himself.

Mereoleona growled as Leo finished his story.

“ Excuse me for a second.” She said simply as she tried to walk away, but Fuegoleon reached a hand out to stop her. She looked at him and saw a look she knew all too well in his eyes, so she stopped.

“ Leo,” Fuegoleon looked at his brother and began to wipe the tears from his eyes. “ You are not a disappointment to House Vermillion, and while you may not be as strong or powerful as Mereo and I, you’re still young and are ever growing. One day you’ll be as strong, if not stronger, than she and I are. So don’t listen to those kids, alright?” He added warmly as he patted him on the head. Leo looked at his sister and saw her nod in agreement.

“ Really?”

“ Really.”

Leo nodded slowly and he rested his head against his brother's chest again. Fuegoleon picked him up and walked towards his bedroom with Mereoleona in tow. They dropped Leo off in his room and promised to be back soon. As Fuegoleon closed the door softly behind him Mereo gave her brother a look.

“ So, are we gonna go teach some punk kids a lesson?” Mereo asked as she cracked her knuckles, Fuegoleon held up a hand.

“ Yes and no, you see dear sister,” Fuegoleon began as he walked down the hallway and Mereoleona walked beside him. “ Children tend to learn habits and behaviors from their parents, whether it was because the parents taught them directly or indirectly, they are still just as responsible as the child. So, while we can solely discipline the children for what happened, I don’t think the lesson would stick.”

“ So what are you suggesting brother?” Mereo asked, knowing full well what he meant.

“ I think the parents deserve to be disciplined as well, don’t you agree?” He asked a small smirk appearing on his face, and Mereo laughed before hitting her fist into the palm of her other hand.

“ I completely agree!” She said cheerfully.

The two walked out of House Vermillion and set off to find the children and their parents, they were going to give them all a lesson they would never forget.

I can totally see Leo and Yuno having the same thing Kaguya and Shrirogane have where they’re trying to get the other to confess because they refuse to do themselves because of their pride, and they are convinced love is war-

Neither of them wanting to confess their feelings so they try and force the other to do it instead and using the excuse of their 'pride' but really they their pride is only half of the reason.

I can imagine Yuno saying something like love is war. They are both just two stubborn idiots and are getting no where. People will probably start to think they are dating

Eventually someone would set them up and they both confess.

I’ve never heard of that one, but it could be fun! 😊 Yellow represents my opinions about them as friends and the pink “not my cup of tea” is my opinion about them romantically.

Thoughts and headcanons below the cut:

I hadn't heard of this one before, but I could see it as a fun platonic dynamic. It's hard for me to imagine Secre having romantic interest in anyone besides the first Wizard King, Lumiere (and I'm not even entirely convinced that her care for him was romantic in nature in the first place); however, I can imagine her and Leo would get along well and become friends. There would be a really nice balance between Leo's enthusiasm and constant go-getting energy and Secre's more reserved, steady, and calming nature. Leo just really strikes me as the type of person who generally gets along with everyone so I can definitely imagine him trying to make friends with her, and he is so warm and friendly that he eventually endears himself to her and they become friends. Honestly, Leopold and Secre both deserve so much more love and attention in general so I love the idea of them making friends with each other for that reason and am excited to have been asked about them!

Some headcanons about them:

Leo hears about Secre's magic from Asta and thinks it's amazing so he resolves to make friends with her. It takes Secre a while to warm up to the idea, but eventually she warms up to Leo due to his earnestness and friendly nature.

Secre sees a lot of Lumiere in Leo from time to time--mostly in his enthusiasm, zest for life, and the way he smiles. She sees Tetia in him too--especially in the way he is kind and always looking out for others.

Leo and Secre spar together from time to time and Leo talks constantly while fighting. Secre thinks this is a bit odd but tries her best to listen to what he has to say.

Asta, Secre, and Leo spend a lot of time together with Secre acting as kind of the voice of reason of the group since Leo and Asta can both be a bit wild and impulsive at times. They both come to see her as a bit of a big sister for them.

Leo appreciates that Secre is a good listener and a loyal friend. He wished she smiled more, however, so he tries to go out of his way to do nice things to make her happy. Making her laugh is even harder, but he tries his best. There are rare occasions when if he and Asta both work together, they can get her to laugh, and these are very treasured memories of his.

Fuegoleon and Mereoleona both like Secre a lot and are glad that she and Leo are such good friends, though they have different reasons for it. Fuegoleon hopes that Secre will be more of a calming, grounding influence on his brother whereas Mereoleona hopes she will push him out of his comfort zone and help him become a better mage.

Leo has a habit of going to Secre for advice when he needs a girl's opinion (i.e. on what to get his cousin Mimosa for her birthday, for instance). Though Secre tells him repeatedly that she is really no expert on those types of matters, her advice always ends up working out in the end.

Leo and Secre definitely have that 'You don't talk very much--I like you' type of friendship, and it works very well for them: with Leo being particularly chatty and Secre listening attentively.

Occasionally, he likes to chase her around when she is in her bird form, which is a bit silly but also can be lots of fun. 😊

Thankfully Together MHA Ships/Writing Sparks for Nov.

I usually write character x reader plots, but I wanted to do some short posts for character x character pairings (that I ship). I'm going to attempt to do a different ship every day for the entire month of November (30 ships at the least though I may do more if I finish early). I'm currently short 3 ships.

Round 2 (+Round 1 Overview)

Round one has closed! I’m very grateful for everyone participating and having fun with the polls so far so let’s see how round 2 is going to go down.

There were some easy wins and some interesting surprises all around but we also had a tied match. Tsukauchi and Burnin tied with a solid 50/50, so per my last post, instead of redoing the match or eliminating one arbitrarily, both of them will still compete. Tsukauchi will face Natsuo and by a randomization, Burnin’ will be added into round 6 against Kendo and Edgeshot. Keep in mind we will still only pull one winner from that match to move on to the quarterfinals.

Round 2 will take place next Friday on March 3rd at Noon EST. 

Don’t worry I know a week is a while to wait for a damn tumblr poll, but I will post reminders periodically so you don’t miss when the polls drop. I’ve just decided that’s the best time for my schedule to post and manage the polls so it will be the same day and time for every round going forward.

I also took the liberty of ranking everyone based on their win or loss percentages. The top 17 spots will change with the next round but places 18-32 are set in stone.

Natsuo won the largest percentage in his poll, leaving him currently in first place

Mimic is our official biggest loser of the tournament at 32nd place

Testsutetsu VS Spinner received the most votes out of all round one polls

Magne and Tiger placed above Compress and Joke respectively due to their poll having more votes.

Burnin’ was placed above Tsukauchi overall due to her keeping a lead in the poll for longer. We’ll see if she stays ahead.

Ragdoll, at 18th place, wins the “so close, so far” award for round one.

He would probably lock himself away and wouldn’t train or use his magic for a long long time, and would probably ask himself why he’s the only one in the family to have ever lost control of his magic, and would wonder why he isn’t amazing like his brother and sister.

Meanwhile Mereo and Fue would be very surprised when Leo lost control, it was the first time it had ever happened to him, and their first instinct would be to ask if he was alright. Once they determined that he was physically well they would start asking him if he was mentally well. Was there someone or something stressing him out? Was he sleeping and eating enough? Or maybe he was using his magic *too* much?

As for what they would do I can see Mereo and Fue talking about how they could help him and maybe make him feel better. Mereo would suggest taking Leo to the hot springs, so that he could not only relax but so he could also work on his magical control. Fue was a bit hesitant at first, since he wasn’t sure whether Leo would be ready for that yet, but as he thought about it maybe that was a good idea. Because once they made it to the hot springs Fue could get Leo to open up and talk about what happened and how it wasn’t bus fault.

So the Vermillions would go to the hot springs by themselves and once Leo got his magical control back, Fue would talk to and comfort him.

💙-- Hurt/Comfort

It is often difficult for Leopold to open up about his insecurities to his older brother, but once when he was training well into the night and mentally beating himself up after performing badly in a Crimson Lions' training exercise, Fuegoleon came to check up on him and offered him some encouraging words, reassuring him that everyone has bad days and that the true measure of strength is how a person responds in the face of adversity rather than the face of success. Fuegoleon told him that he believes his brother is strong enough to learn from these mistakes and grow stronger because of them and that Leo has the strength and resilience to keep going even in the face of defeat. For years to come, Leopold remembers these words and his brother's encouragement in particularly difficult moments and finds the strength to keep moving forward.

Leopold has never been much of a crier, but he cried himself to sleep the night after the battle in the Royal Capital clutching onto a tattered and worn plush of a lion his brother and sister had given to him when he was very young. Leopold took Fuegoleon's coma the hardest and would visit him as much as he could. He had heard Dr. Owen say that it was possible that the comatose Fuegoleon could hear them, so Leo took it upon himself to read to him or talk to him about his day or, sometimes if he was feeling particularly hopeful, even make plans of things he wanted to show his brother and wanted them to do together when he woke up. Some days, however, it was too difficult for Leopold to remain optimistic, and he'd simply sit quietly by his brother's side with misty-eyes and silent prayers to please, please bring his brother back to him.

💗-- Family

When Leopold was very little, he looked up to and wanted to emulate Fuegoleon so much that sometimes he would dress up in his clothes and, especially, his much too big boots. Fuegoleon realised this and thought it was very sweet and somewhat flattering so he gave his brother one of his sashes (since it's the only piece of clothing that might actually fit him). Little Leopold wore that sash every day for months (or at least tried to), and as he grew older, he still held onto it. He wears it only on very special occasions now, but someday, when he becomes captain of the Crimson Lion Kings, he will incorporate it as part of his uniform so he will always remember where he came from and will always remember that even if his brother has retired and is no longer physically fighting by his side, he will always be there rooting for and supporting him.

He has had a long day today and he wanted nothing more then to curl up in bed and fall asleep. Yuno decided to worry about that later and walked over to the living room and leaned over the couch and stumbled back in shock.

Dogs? Puppies? What is that?

Yuno rubbed his eyes and slapped himself in the face just to make sure he was seeing things right and that his stress wasn’t making him hallucinate. He peeked over the couch again and there was the same thing again. 

Leopold was sleeping peacefully on the couch, laying on his side with his hair tied into a low ponytail. There was a puppy right under his nose, one resting on his leg, another latching onto his back and one last one sleeping in front of his stomach. 

On one hand Yuno wanted to melt and take thousands of photos because the sight of his boyfriend sleeping with all these puppies around his was beyond adorable. On the other hand, and the more responsible side of him needed to wake Leopold up and ask him where on earth these puppies came from and why they were here then to get them back to where they belong.

Who says he can’t do both though?

After recovering from the mild shock from four new animals that had invaded his apartment. Yuno took his phone out and snapped a few photos from different angles, making a mental note to change one of them to his wallpaper.

He made his way around the couch and kneeled in front of leopold taking a few moments to just admire his sleeping form. The puppy was blocking half of Leopold’s face so he couldn’t see from below his nose. 

It was these things in life that made him happy. Leo can be quite a handful and very random at times but so much perks come with that. Yuno could never be serious or angry around Leo. He just has this spell that calms his nerves.

Yuno leaned against the couch and ruffled the top of the puppy’s head and sighed. 

He was tired and even though he is supposed to wake Leopold up and get the puppies back to where they belong. A part if him wanted to just go for a nap and drown out the outside world.

The second option see seemed much more thrilling, so he did just that.
