You were moving on, his roommate and friend was helping you… he was the one who let you go but it made him a little angry to know he was replaceable, that you were actively looking for someone to share your life with after telling you how he wasn’t ready to fully commit to you. He was still looking for meaningless hook ups while you were looking to start a life.

정말 너무 소중한 인연과 큰 사랑을 받았다. 이 사랑을 더 멋진 무대로 꼭 보답하고 싶다. 또 한국에서도 콘서트를 하고 싶은 바람이 있다. I really received precious relationships and huge love. I really want to repay this love with cooler stages. I also wish for holding a concert in Korea again.

앨범 하나하나 너무 소중했기 때문에 한순간도 빠짐없이 기억이 난다. Every single album is very precious so I remember all the moments.

Q. 이번 앨범 관전 포인트가 있다면? Q. The attention point for this album?

순순히 7명으로만 채워지는 웅장한 무대를 선보일 예정이다. 중독성 있는 후렴 구간도 포인트가 될 것 같다. We plan to show a grand stage even if consisting of only 7 people. The addictive chorus would also be a point.

Q. 가수의 꿈을 꾸게했던 롤 모델은? Q. The role model who made you dream of being a singer?

아부다비 '케이콘'에서 통역 일을 하다 우연히 몬스타엑스 선배님을 보게 됐다. 너무 멋있는 무대를 보고 아이돌의 꿈을 꾸게 됐다. I happened to see MONSTA X during my work as a translator in Abu Dhabi KCON. I saw a very cool stage and dreamt of being a singer.

Q. 콜라보 하고 싶은 국내외 아티스트가 있다면? Q. Any local/foreign artist that you want to have a collaboration with?

제임스 아서(James Arthur), 에드 시런(Ed Sheeran), 저스틴 비버(Justin Bieber). 유년 시절을 책임져 준 가수였다. 그리고 몬스타엑스 주헌 선배님이다. 카리스마 넘치고 배울 점이 너무 많은 존경하는 선배님이라 콜라보 해보고 싶다. James Arthur, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber. They are singers that I have liked in my childhood. There's also MONSTA X. They are charismatic and respected seniors that I can learn a lot from, so I want to have collaboration with them.

Q. 데뷔 3년 차다. 가장 인상 깊었던 팬이 있다면? Q. It's been 3 years since debut, fans that your have the deepest impression of?

제가 무대에 서 있는 걸 진심으로 응원해 주고 무언가를 바라지 않고 제 행복이 가장 소중했던 팬분. 힘들 때 정말 큰 위로였고 더 앞으로 나아갈 수 있는 힘을 줬다. Fans who cheer for me sincerely when I'm on stage and deem my happiness the most precious without wanting anything else. It really gives me great strength to go forward when I'm having a hard time.

Y'all I just saw Monsta X live in Atlanta on Saturday, and I'm in such a post concert depression right now. ಥ⌣ಥ

They were so sweet and funny, and it felt unreal seeing them in person. Their live vocals are insane, and they're so freaking beautiful omg.

I don't interact with other kpop fans irl very often, so I didn't expect all of the fellow Monbebe's there to be so freaking nice!!

Also, for anyone who is going to a kpop concert I highly recommend to up your outfit game for that day. Literally every fan there was dressed like they could be kpop idols about to perform, I felt very plain lol.

It was my first kpop concert so I made sure to get a lightstick beforehand, and omg I waved that thing all night as if my life depended on it. My arm was very sore on Sunday, and my legs felt numb cuz I almost never sat down, but it was very worth it. (*´∀`*)

Now imma be sulking every day and listening to only Monsta X for a good month cuz I'll probably never get an opportunity to see them in person like that again.

My friend and I had gotten pretty cheap tickets, but our seats didn't even feel far away at all. The arena was a lot smaller than we thought it was gonna be, so we ended up actually pretty close to the stage.

If I ever get a chance to see them again though, I'm definitely willing to spend every penny I have on getting somewhere in the front.

I'm surprised I didn't start randomly crying. For some reason I expected that I would start sobbing when I saw them cuz I just love them so much, but I think I was in too much awe by their beauty and god vocals that I just couldn't cry lmao.

They mostly sung newer songs, the oldest they sung was Dramarama (even tho that's technically not very old I guess). They also made sure to include Shownu as much as they could, even though he wasn't there.

We chanted Shownu's name, and they held up a picture of him. He's even included on all of the merch they were selling (I made sure to get a shirt with all of the tour locations on the back, plus a hoodie and a poster 😊).

There were a ton of iconic moments in just that one night omg. All of the Monbebe's in the crowd held up paper hearts while they performed Find You, and Jooheon and Minhyuk talked about how touched they were by it.

Jooheon also beatboxed for us. Kihyun also flexed his god vocals whole Joo and Minhyuk danced adorably.

A backup dancer got his shirt ripped off and everyone went nuts lmao.

Minhyuk got drenched in water by Hyungwon.

Hyungwon picked up a girls cowboy hat and wore it for it bit. I thought that was cool cuz I saw the girl who was wearing it in line with us while we were waiting to get in.

Hyungwon also wore that silly bee hat that everyone is talking about on Twitter.

Someone had thrown it onto the stage and he wore it all the way until the end of the show.

It was truly one of the best nights of my life, and I keep going to Twitter and seeing other people's concert highlights. I've also got a few recordings of my own, but I didn't want to be on my phone the whole night so I only recorded my favorite songs.

It all feels like a fever dream I stg.

If I had the money to go again, going to concerts would be like a drug and I'd be addicted.

Stray Kids are also going on tour, and they're my ult group. I think I would actually for real sob if I got to see them in person, but even the far away tickets were ridiculously expensive so I never got the upper hand when they went on sale. 🙃

Has anyone else gotten to see Monsta X during this tour? I think they're a little over halfway done with the tour now.

I remember I.M. said "usually this far into a tour we'd be really exhausted by now, but for some reason we've got a lot of energy tonight." He told us that the vibes there were good, and that we really hyped them up. 🥺

Imma be depressed for like a month now, I almost had to be dragged back to the car cuz I just wanted to stay in paradise forever.

The audio is extremely bad, but this was one of my most favorite moments where we all shouted "MONSTA X, WE THE BEST!" 💜

É filho de uma gravidez indesejada. Sua mãe, uma imigrante coreana, o entregou para adoção logo após o nascimento. Foi adotado não muito depois por um casal influente e de boas condições financeiras, mas que não conseguia conceber filhos - Grace Allen e Changwoo Jung. Sua adoção é um segredo para a maior parte do mundo, exceto alguns familiares e amigos próximos da família além de, claro, o próprio. Seus pais lhe contaram assim que ele tinha idade suficiente para entender, mas ele nunca se importou muito com o fato.

Nunca foram ricos, mas Kristopher - seu real nome de registro, outro segredo guardado à sete chaves por odiá-lo - teve uma infância confortável. Apresentou interesse em música desde pequeno, sempre com apoio e incentivo dos pais, que o colocaram em aulas de instrumentos e de canto sempre que era viável. Começou a se apresentar em pequenos festivais em sua cidade e nos arredores ainda antes dos dez anos e, com o apoio local crescendo, foi apenas natural que continuasse progredindo no ramo.

Já na adolescência, se inscreveu na primeira edição do Britain's Got Talent e, para a surpresa de muitos devido à relativa pouca idade, avançou no programa com grande popularidade junto ao público, chegando a ser um dos finalistas. Perdeu no episódio final, mas o talento aliado à sua etnia fez com que suas apresentações chamassem bastante atenção na Coreia do Sul, resultando no convite vindo da Starship para que se tornasse um trainee na empresa. Apesar de nunca ter imaginado que teria essa chance, ele aceitou.

Não treinou por muito tempo antes de debutar no 2U, mas sua adaptação à mudança para a Coreia foi um tanto turbulenta. Ele já tinha viajado ao país à passeio, mas nunca por muito tempo, e apesar de saber o idioma desde pequeno por ter sido ensinado pelo pai, teve certa dificuldade até se tornar realmente fluente. O que era apenas um obstáculo a mais considerando que, de início, o maior problema foi seu gênio difícil e a falta de costume com a cultura do país, que geraram diversas faíscas com os demais integrantes.

Começou a se interessar por produção musical enquanto ainda era trainee, estudando sozinho e praticando em todo o tempo livre que tinha. A liberdade criativa que conquistou junto com o grupo após a quebra de contrato com a Starship e o estabelecimento de uma nova empresa fez com que ele começasse a produzir para outros artistas, mas também para si mesmo, debutando solo não muito depois. Hoje em dia, é um produtor bastante conhecido e respeitado no meio.

Sua carreira solo é bastante diversa quanto aos gêneros musicais, e inclui uma grande quantidade de parcerias com outros artistas, à convite do próprio. Costuma dividir seu trabalho de acordo com suas principais influências: R&B, rock e pop, sendo que esta última categoria é a única que costuma de fato promover em programas musicais, apesar de também ser a com lançamentos menos frequentes em comparação com as outras. Na maior parte do tempo, ele prefere se manter no cenário mais underground, por assim dizer.

hello frankie, thank you for all the recs! I know a few songs from lucie and verivery but not the ones you recommended so I'm excited to check them out 😊 I like seventeen too although I haven't listened to all their music yet, rock with you is so catchy it's one of my fave from them!

as for me, I do like pop/rock sound too but now that I think about it I don't listen to that many kbands. I listen to a bit of everything so I love day6 (I'd recommend tick tock, shoot me, i need somebody, sweet chaos, rescue me and the entire book of us : entropy album lol) and then dreamcatcher (I saw you reblogged some yoohyeon gifs so you already know them but just to say that I saw them live for their europe tour and they were SO GOOD). I also really like btob (different sound but I'd recommend missing you, blue scene (og version and the cinema version), outsider and I'll be your man), nct (my fave unit is nct 127 and I'd recommend favorite, love on the floor, gold dust, simon says, limitless and no longer) and astro (I'd recommend crazy sexy cool, more, role play and bloom)

If you don't know them already, I think you might like kihyun's (from monsta x - another group i listen to a lot) solo work: his title tracks are called voyager and youth, also woodz's latest album (my fave are kiss of fire and chaser) and dpr ian (my faves are so beautiful, ballroom extravaganza, mood) and ring x ring by billlie

I don't really make playlists because I never really know what to make them about, I just either listen to my all liked tracks (very often on shuffle) or to one artist a time. Recently, I started playing spotify playlists a lot more (the ones based on genres or on a few artists) which I really like but I don't think I'd do a great job at making playlists for myself so that's one thing I'll let the machine do for me lol

i do listen to day6 so i'm familiar with almost all the songs you mentioned! shoot me is one of my fave title tracks by them. haha and funny enough, btob was one of the main reasons why i got more familiar with kpop! i haven't listened to their newer releases yet but now that you mention them, i should. missing you really hits different 😭 i cried listening to that song a lot. nct! i'm honestly only familiar with dream's discography + limitless, so i'm excited to listen to all the other songs you mentioned! i listened to bloom by astro before and it sounds so majestic. almost like an OST. but i've yet to listen to the other two~

i've heard a lot of good things about woodz's latest album but i haven't gotten the chance to check it out yet o: i think i listened to one of his songs in passing (probably a random play after shuffling on yt music) and i loved the highkey rock vibes. kihyun, i'm familiar with (mainly because one of my friends also loves monsta x!) but i've never listened to any of his solo releases o: dpr ian is the only artist here that i don't recognize haha but thank you so much for the recommendations! 🥰 i'm excited to add more songs to my playlist

OH it's kinda funny that you ask that, because i've recently stumbled upon n.flying's cover of hakujitsu (i hope that's the right romanization of the word because i don't know how to read the jpn title 😭) and it's so good??? i feel like i've listened to that song every single day for the last two weeks. so i think that's my fave one for sure!

a very close second would've been their cover of 'ang huling el bimbo' when they performed in the philippines. this is a bit of a biased answer cause i listened to eraserheads (the og artist) growing up. i saw a fanvid and was surprised to hear that it was the first time hweseung performed with a guitar onstage! he sounded great (as per usual~) and his pronunciation was so good 🥺

but i also gotta give a shout out to their league of legends medley (i also love the fake tattoos in the mv). how about you!! do you have a favourite one~ (or a top 3 if it's hard to choose)
