#the last months I’ve mostly been busy with work but can say that I got through my first semester teaching successfully although struggled #along the way. my anxiety is at an all time high + I’m dealing with some medical stuff so I’m just trying to stayyy appreciative of every #day I feel good u kno. ugh. #I’m working on quitting my excessive weed usage lol. otherwise working out and doing pole when I can. #and watching lots of movies and doing lots of art . at least this past week since school is out #personal

i’ve decided that post-canon Ed and Winry keep a little flock of chickens and it’s mostly a bunch of sweet hens that they and the kids dote on, but they also have a tiny yellow bantam rooster which Ed is in a FEUD with. they are NEMESES. this creature keeps escaping from the run and getting into things he shouldn’t and pecking at Ed’s ankles every chance he gets. the kids love him and ‘accidentally’ let him into the house where he causes utter chaos. Ed insists this is the most vile creature in the world. but of course everyone else who sees their altercations is just like “Ah. He has found a kindred spirit.”

Have been slowly working on projects lately...am dealing with severe fatigue and pain at the moment so I'm getting a lot less done, since my usual way of working is just a few minutes of knitting/spinning at a time during the day, and then a few hours at night while getting ready to try to sleep. But I've been largely unable to even use my hands or stay upright so that has really slowed down my work.

That said, I did knit 2 pairs of handspun gloves for my mom (fucked up the thumb holes on the first pair and then fucked up worse trying to fix it, so I just knit another which seems much better).

Have been slowly spinning that shetland at doctors appointments (and/or handing it to my partner to spin).

Also still mending my gloves. Nearly done with the first one, just a few more patches over the fingers and then it's good as new. Better tbh, since it looks cool af and is way warmer than they were when I first made them.

I dont have any pictures of those atm but here's some random pretty things I saw on a walk. Spring is finally approaching.
