there's something sooooooo heartbreaking about quests as a narrative piece. you set out on this journey to rescue someone or defeat a great evil and along the way you face hardship and horror and you grieve and fight and love and lose and then when it's all over you come home. everything is the same as when you left, but you're so irrevocably different that you no longer fit in the one place you used to be truly at peace. you're tired from your journey but you find no rest or recovery, only ghosts. and you almost wish for another quest, another dangerous mission, because at least then you know your purpose.

zolf in rqg207 is so much. nearly crying on this coach over him turning around mid-battle ready to absolutely obliterate this thing, seeing hamid nearly dead on the floor, and stopping everything else he was doing because "absolutely not"

Just for fun if you’d like:
If you put your vampires into the Pokédex what types would they have?
well, considering the vampirism, they'd all likely end up with dark type just by default... so let's get a little more creative!! (some still get dark type because it fits their vibe)
morten: fairy. absolutely a fairy type
einarr: psychic/water (huge nerd scholar. mindreader. thrives at sea)
bat: flying/dark (goes bump in the night :3)
rune: normal/ghost? (sure is an undead mystery boy)
helena: fire.
loki: dark/fire (literally runs a cult)
eli: grass. bug? just got those cottagecore vibes
stone: rock.
rupert: water/ghost
tiberius: water. just pure water. aquarius man
the lord: dark/dragon (evil. menacing and terrible)
laugar: poison/bug :)
kvikindi: bug/dragon (they're a lil shapeshifter who turned into a dragon sometimes)
and then my uhh. vampiresona-
ice/flying. sure

Setting up the warp for some towels. Wanted something lower stress to figure out the warping board on, plus my mom is visiting in a couple weeks and ive been promising her more towels for ages now.
Far as i can tell i kind of just need to take this off and start another one whenever the board is full (as it is now). Maybe thats not the right way to do it, but i do not (as of yet) see any downsides to that, so it's what im gonna do. Idk, im used to doing direct warping and just walking the warp.
Warp is all millspun cotton, leftovers from the cotton stripey scarf i did on commission last year.
This is 62 warp ends and i need around 180, so i guess i need 2 more of these.
