I had a thought and it is a terrible thought
Incorporeal Mu Qing AU but make it modern and every night Feng Xin plays that song "Dancing with your Ghost" and slow dances with himself, pretending that Mu Qing is in his arms
"I stay up all night, tell myself it's alright, baby you're just harder to see than most, I put the records on, wait till I hear our song, every night I'm dancing with your ghost"
I am so sorry for this

Appunti vecchi. Vecchissimi appunti

Okay so my genuine thoughts on the final scenes of Totk
So having Link go through the final ‘dungeon’ and wind up exactly where we started the game, with those rocks we ACHED to break bc it was instinct, only to get that satisfaction after EVERYTHING and to see that Zelda’s fate was foretold millennia ago. Turning into a dragon WAS her only choice. And for good reason.
Ganondorf’s fight. WOW. That was genuinely so beautifully done. He ALSO dodges how Link does. To have Ganondorf dodge something, the entire action moving in slow motion, only to then have LINK do the same the next move?? Poetic cinema people. And the champions arriving 🥹 only to then have them all fucking thrown to the side when he takes in his doubles to regain his own strength? Absolutely insane and hands down my favorite boss fight in the entirety of the Zelda series. Yeah. That’s how much I enjoyed it as a player.
Can we also just talk about how concerned everyone got and how they yelled his name when he was taken from the underground??
And THEN the final fight with Ganondorf swallowing a secret stone and becoming a dragon. It brings Zelda’s sacrifice to light. She did it out of selflessness and love. He did it out of selfishness and hatred. GOD do I love characters that juxtapose each other. Zelda is a girl who was given the responsibility of a power she never wanted while Ganondorf is a megalomaniac who sought the destruction of peace because of his own selfish desires. Seeing the difference between them in that final fight as two dragons… it was EVERYTHING.
Zelda’s dragon form was tiny compared to Ganondorf’s dragon form. She protects. He attacks.
It’s so beautiful to see how Zelda, who isn’t mentally awake, first instinct are to save Link. She quickly maneuvers so she can not only juke out Ganondorf, but also then save Link who was flung into the air in the process. Link clutching onto her dragon fur? Or whatever?? And understanding that while the sages are all still underground, he is not alone in the sky. She’s going to be by his side this entire time.
For someone who was alone the majority of the last game… this was so fucking emotional and beautiful to see.
Them lowkey explaining calamity Ganon by also using dragons this game was a really nice consistency touch btw I was digging how focal dragons were to the entire game this time around.
And then the final bit. That SCENE. Rauru and Sonia channeling their power through Link, who was incredibly confused before he realized what they must be doing, and got SO determined. Turning Zelda back and even getting his own hand back in the process??? Insane to see. Zelda was so so loved by Rauru and Sonia despite only spending a short amount of time with them. And that just makes my heart hurt when we consider what actually happened.
And when Link falls unconscious, which is completely logical when you think about the fight he just went through, the altitude he was at, and channeling enough magic that it reversed the effects of an all powerful secret stone???? Yo he went through a LOT!
And he wakes up, already on the alert bc man is freefallin only to then realize that Zelda is back and she’s also falling. And she’ll hit the ground a lot sooner than he would at the rate they’re going.
Link couldn’t reach Zelda in the beginning of this entire thing. But this time? This time he not only reaches her hand, but he pulls her in close, shields her head as best as he can, and prepares them to hit the water. Once they do, he carries her out of the water. Gentle, oh so gently, laying her down and kneels over her as she begins to wake up.
And one of the first thing Zelda does as she wakes up is to take him in and looks him over to see if HE’S hurt. Just like she did in the beginning of the game. And everything click. They won. He defeated Ganondorf and she was granted the impossible by Rauru and Sonia to turn back into a human.
And Zelda IMMEDIATELY rambles on about everything. About how much has happened. How much she has to tell him.
And finally. Finally. She looks at him and smiles so fucking gently that it drives me INSANE with how much she obviously adores him, and says, “I’m home, Link. I’m home.”
Because home is right there. Right by his side. In this Hyrule that they’ve been rebuilding together. The one they lived the past half decade ish together in a house Link bought and traveled across Hyrule no matter what the issue was. In the Hyrule where she is so beloved by everyone.
Zelda is home.

had the distinct honor of presenting the Actress Award for Television at @criticschoice 2nd annual Celebration of Latino Cinema & Television to the incomparable, @iamginatorres. As mentioned in the speech, Gina has been a trailblazer and inspiration in our industry not only as a Latina, but as an Afro-Cubana artist. in an industry where Latinos are criminally underrepresented, Gina has been and continues to be a shining example of resilience, talent and consistency. it was such a privilege to be surrounded by Latino talent pre, during and after the award show—on and off camera. as i finished a couple interviews and moved off to an empty area, my thoughts settled and found their quiet place. it wasn’t long until a sentiment snuck up me. it felt like I have been here before; not so far into the distance, a feeling that might resemble home. i couldn’t help but wonder: is this how it feels to be surrounded by people that look and feel like you? 🟰 Thanks @giorgioarmani for the suit. mu: @chezzacan

TW: discussions of suicide and hanging
Just had a terrible realization.
There's this wonderful theory that prisoners only have half of their memories involving their crime and you need to use their other pairing to understand the full story. I'd link it but unfortunately the creator deactivated. Everyday I mourn not archiving it because it was amazing.
They only explained how it related to Fuuta and Mu but I was thinking about what it meant for Shidou and Mahiru. After thinking about it, a horrible question hit me: Did Mahiru intend to commit a lover's suicide with her boyfriend?
IT SOUNDS CRAZY and I don't think I necessarily believe it because it'd make her crime way too sympathetic, right? Like, unless she was a terrible person no one would guilty her! But like... it's there and it's not leaving my mind.
Ofcourse, what I'm proposing is that Shidou and Mahiru intended to die to be with their loved ones but Mahiru was stripped of her memory. Both pairings would have to share the same memory, afterall. This means I'd have to convince you Shidou wants to die—
Tumblr media
—Which is distressingly easy to prove. First thing out of his mouth upon meeting Es. Massive focal point about his character, harder to miss it honestly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As for Mahiru, you know how her crime took place in Aokigahara, the suicide forest?
I explained it in this post but it's likely Mahiru's crime was indirect to parallel Shidou who directly killed his victims. Along with the imagery of Mahiru wrapping his hands around her victim's neck and their shoe falling off, I think it's likely he died by hanging. Initially, I thought he died while Mahiru was at home cooking dinner, hence her horrified expression towards the end.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Few things we'll need to establish. When Mahiru's boyfriend dies it's on Day 16. I'm assuming this because why else would she wear the birdcage outfit and look horrified at the end? Then, there's also this shot in Undercover where Mahiru's hands are laying ontop of her victim. I think this must be in Aokigahara because no other entry before this takes place in a forest. The closest is the outdoor cinema in Day 13 but, and I checked, the cuffs are different. Instead, Mahiru's birdcage outfit matches up the best.
Obviously, the cuffs between the two jackets are different so they belong to different people. Mahiru must have went with her boyfriend to Aokigahara.
However, like I did, you might be thinking, "Oh but Mahiru doesn't have the motive to go. She isn't suicidal." To which I say:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The fact she laughs after saying the first few lines as if that's a teehee :3c thing to say. This isn't funny Mahiru. I'm distressed over your mental health.
Bringing up the shoes again, there is a scene where Mahiru takes her shoes off. Specifically, when she's calling her boyfriend and then when she dives headfirst into the feathers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Initially, I had brushed off this off but it's a weird detail to include, right? Noticably, the shoes only come off when she's unhappy in her relationship: slamming the phone down after arguing with her boyfriend and then staring wistfully outside of the birdcage. They're on again after she wakes up from her nap, and her boyfriend has already died. Even if it doesn't necessarily mean she's suicidal, it's still linked to her unhappiness.
Adding onto this, there's these lyrics from This Is How To Be Inlove With You:
"We fought sometimes, I was happy to get hurt Let's have matching pain, this sickness is pretty bad."
"This is a claim of responsibility From the two of us with matching love Wanting to know everything about you, but wanting to die because it can't come true It's all because of love."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These lines are sung over Days 9-12 after Mahiru confesses and starts dating her boyfriend. Along with the lines about matching pain, it's when she takes off her shoes, so she's really not happy in this relationship. Over the course of this relationship I think they're both having a negative impact on eachother's mental health. Mahiru is consistently taking up her boyfriend's time (waking up him up in the morning to call, begging him to take her out on dates, etc) and then potentially manipulating/guilt-tripping him. For Mahiru, she's putting a large amount of effort into being a good girlfriend and not receiving anything in return. Not once does Mahiru ever mention something her boyfriend has does for her, and she's very easy to please.
Despite how cute it's portrayed in her MV, atleast one of their fights got nasty. In the 2nd trial teaser, Mahiru screams "Don't say you love me so easily!" Which is likely directly at her boyfriend. Concerning implications since this is only voiceline where she says anything like this. Her first MV, first voice trailer, and second voice trailer are all saying she loves this guy but she's screaming at him to not tell her the same? Despite being in the chorus of This Is How To Be Inlove With Love You's lyrics? A fuck-up has occurred here.
I should also note, Mahiru has only expressed anger towards her boyfriend. Kotoko threw her on death's door and Es, accidentally, put her in that situation and she still loves them both. At most Mahiru's upset with Es but it's only empty sadness. Seriously, what could her boyfriend have done that's worse than literally attempting to kill her?
Now, I tried to write to all of off by saying Mahiru would've remembered if she tried to commit a lover's suicide and there'd be more hints. However, if you remember the beginning of this post, if Mahiru had her memory erased then she doesn't know how her boyfriend died.
I think this is most apparent in her interrogation answers and voice drama. Mahiru always refers to her lover in present tense, saying things like "I've never smoked before, but I might copy him if who I love smokes." There's also the way she speaks about her crime, she "supposes" she killed her boyfriend. There's several reasons why she'd act this way but I'd say this aligns with her having a fuzzy memory.
(Also pretty suspicious for Milgram to ask her "Are there people you’d be leaving behind after you die?" Why would we, the audience, need to know that.)
Ofcourse, this theory isn't perfect! You could come up with all sorts of reasons why x evidence actual something else entirely different. I'm not convinced of it entirely myself but I think it does make sense? I Love You can't come soon enough to confirm everything.

Summary : You go to the cinema with Tom , afterwards you get another surprise by meeting the Bennett Family
“ I know how well you love complete power, Fouquet, but you will never know complete power until you are obeyed in a place like this”
As the film played on you You crunched on a piece of popcorn as you were engrossed in the story. The cinema was incredibly cozy and small. Your elbow rested on the arm chair , Tom held the small paper popcorn square, occasionally leaning it in your direction offering you some. Sometimes he would offer you some and retract it , laughing shortly as you missed the box trying to grab popcorn.
Out of the corner of your eye you occasionally caught Tom glancing at you, and he probably noticed you looking at him, giving him a smile every time he offered some popcorn.
Tom picked the film the Man in the Iron Mask , you were intrigued by his choice, you expected something else but you liked the film all the same. It was not a crowded cinema, maybe a dozen people in.
Being sat that close to him for just under 2 hours was sweetly reassuring, he enjoyed the film like you did. He made sure that he got the tickets, when you arrived at the theatre he was standing again the wall and when he saw you approach he smiled. You wore your dark green dress, with sleeves that barley touched your elbows and the skirt just to say covered your knees. In the cinema you had the black cardigan over your during the film but being in such close proximity to Tom made you feel even more warm blooded As the film finished Tom stood up and offered to hold your cardigan open as you put it back on . He held his blue jacket over his shoulder and you both walked side by side as you left the theatre.
“Well then what did you think of that?” You asked as you left the main entrance.
He shrugged “Yeah it was alright like.” He scrunched up the empty paper popcorn and dropped it in the bin.
“Next time you pick eh?” He said
“Next time?” You raised an eyebrow smiling at him
He smirked back “Could be fun .”
You nodded “Okay…Next time I’ll pick.”
He smiled at the prospect of another cinema experience, his smile made your knees weak…how could one man have such charm?
The film finished by midday and you walked in the direction of the familiar streets you had grown to known in the past month.
Tom lit up a cigarette as you both walked down the streets , you watched him again and this time he caught you by surprise, he took it out of his mouth and offered it to you “Wanna try?”
You couldn’t respond fast enough as you stuttered “I’ve never tried one…”
He wordlessly put it closer to you and without hesitation you took it , putting it on your mouth and slowly taking a drag. You coughed slightly as you poorly attempted to blow smoke, Tom laughed and stopped you as you walked.
He took the cigeratte from your hand and held it in between his two fingers and slowly , agonizingly slowly he flew it to your lips where you opened them slightly. As he placed the cigarette in your mouth your lips closed, grazing his skin slightly as he held onto it “take a drag…slowly.” He said
It was almost like a command and you obeyed without taking your eyes off his. As you inhaled slowly you felt the hotness of the cigarette fill your lungs and then Tom whispered “Blow.”
You did just that, and a large fluffy puff of smoke escaped your mouth as Tom took away the cigarette and rested it between his lips. Effortlessly
Smoking and smiling at you “see that Wasn’t too bad was it love?”
He asked
You nodded “Rather enjoyable.” As you walked on your fingers briefly Ghosted your lips, you heart was spinning and fluttering. Tom finished his cigarette in what seemed like seconds before he graciously flicked it onto the street , smirking looking at you “Ee what would posh boy say?”
“That your a bad influence Tom.” You grinned a little
Tom laughed “Ah our little secret eh?”
You nodded “Sure..” you both turned the corner
“So what else can we you to try…” Tom mused
You almost chocked on your laugh “God Tom you make me sound like a relic.”
“Speaking of relics” he nodded in the direction of a man in a flat cap getting off his bike “wanna meet me old man?”
You smiled “of course…”
As you both approached him you almost froze in your tracks , it was the man who gave you the pamphlet outside the library .
He recognized you too as you got closer
“Alright dad .”
His dad nodded “Tom…and the Oxford girl.”
Tom frowned “eh?”
You smiled as you shook his hand “your dad and I have met…he gave me one of those pamphlets …you know the night I met you.” You said
Tom laughed “Of course he did…the one that dickhead went after you for?”
“Tom!” The man said “wait what happened with the pamphlet ?”
“Oh I was reading it…and a bloody good read it was. Some drunk tried to ..harass me and your son…” you looked at Tom and patted his chest delicately “was good enough to rescue me.”
The man removed his cap and had a glimmer of pride stretch on his face . He offered his hand “Douglas Bennett.”
You shook it “Y/N. Nice to meet you properly.”
“Wait…you don’t have an uncle Norman…Norman Turner…. do you love?”
You nodded “He is the relative I am staying with.”
“He’s my mate, we go for pints sometimes! He mentioned his niece from down south was staying with him….Small world!” Douglas said laughing.
You were astonished at the coincidence , Tom was too. But that just made Douglas even more interested in getting to know who you were.
You were invited in for tea with Tom and his dad, you met Lois that afternoon too as she came in and insisted you stay for dinner. Lois took to you almost immediately. Welcoming you with a warm hug, like an old friend reunited.
The way they were together took you back, teasing each other but in a loving close way, something you never experienced with your parents - always so serious and so quiet. Yet at the Bennett house it was never silent, they always talked …it was refreshing . Lois and you talked about hair styles and dresses, as she complimented your colours, you in turn remarked how you adored her shoes. You told them of your home and where you worked , how it was just you and your parents. when you told her how Tom had rescued you from the drunken imbecile she smiled warmly At her brother , and in the first time for what seemed like an age, she saw Tom settled and happy.
🍂
“She seems really nice Tom…” Lois said as she sat on her bed removing her slippers and getting under the cover.
Tom was laid on his chest facing the bottom
, still in his clothes and finishing another cigarette.
Looking lost in thought “hmm?”
Lois chuckled “wey Tom I think you really do like her.”
Tom blushed a fraction but looked away “Nah I mean…she’s nice but…she don’t live her Lois..:and she’s got some bloke waiting for her at home.”
Lois frowned “didn’t you say he hasn’t written to her? And they haven’t spent a lot of time together?”
Tom shrugged As he took another drag from the cigarette, he couldn’t quite say how he felt about Y/N. But he knew he had never felt it before.
“She goes back in a couple of weeks ..I ain’t able to just swan off down to Oxford for someone who…”
“Who what Tom?” Lois asked
He blew the smoke from his thin lips and sighed “Someone like her..:doesn’t go for someone like me. A thug.”
Lois smiled “Oh Tom you have no idea have you?!” She almost giggled, Tom frowned as he looked at her , outright confused .
“I saw the way you were looking at her Tom…”
He rolled his eyes “Why is it how Henry looks at you? Another posh lad punching above his weight”
“Harry.” Lois corrected him
He tutted “Harry …sorry.”
Lois blushed a little “Come on Tom stop putting yourself down …”
He shrugged again and focused on taking a long drag , blowing a cloud of smoke before tapping it against his makeshift ash tray.
Lois leaned forward and cleared her throat.
“Tom if she was as serious about this posh lad you mentioned…she wouldn’t have agreed to keep seeing you…fight for her. Give her reason to stay.”
Tom frowned “thought you’d want her to stay with that posh twit…true love an all that.”
She smiled “I want my brother to be happy.”
Tom chuckled “Very funny Lois.”
“Tom?” Lois said seriously
He looked at her as he blew smoke from his lips
“She likes you …I can tell.”
💫
A few streets away, you lay flat on your bed, wide awake looking at the stars out of your window. Your uncle was asleep when you got home , so you couldn’t tell him about meeting Douglas- but you would first thing in the morning.
The sky was so clear to see a blanket of stars which sparkled so bright in the darkness of the midnight sky.
How you felt at ease with Douglas and Lois, normally you fret over meeting new people , but they welcomed you like they had been familiar with you for years. A truly wholesome day, one that you would gladly repeat again.
You were almost annoyed that for the whole day you had not once thought of a George …even though he came up in conversation once. You found yourself wanting a cigarette, the smell lingered within the fabric of your dress and in an instant you knew it was not the cigarette you were craving…it was Tom.

The fact that what gives both Mu-deok and Wook the strength and motivation to finally draw their swords, regardless of the consequences, may be their visceral need to protect each other. That's poetic cinema!

Ninjago? Ninjago total Slay what's you'r favourite season ( for me Seabound it slaps) Also troughts on newest season? For me too little of Jay WHAT DO YOU MEAN 20 seconds?!
It was like one of my first fandoms ever and to this day I dearly love it :333 but after season 10 i unfortunately stopped watching because of my awful life situation at that point of mu existence... and after that, there was so much new media that i couldn't get to that easily...
Tumblr media
BUT I'm trying for last few months rewatch whole series including new season :DDD
But I can still tell you which I liked the most anyway!!!
Season 5 with Morro and season 6 with Nadakhan, also this (IG special because at least in my television it was showed between two different seasons) episode where Cole is dying and becoming a ghost :DD that was very dramatic for my young teenager self.
(I saw a lot of ppl that are kinda shipping Morro with one of ig beta versions of Zane and it interesting, because since I was like 13-14 I shipped Morro x Lloyd, and idk what happend with this emo motherfucker after he literally died second time)
But i need to at least acknowledge even if season 3 wasn't my favorite one, as a 12 year old I cried like little baby when Zane died :))
Season 2 also SOOO cool, but I think it would me my 3 favorite, because of the whole action in it!!!! Like man every episode was so epic. I even have bootleg figure of Pythor, he is almost looking like original one uwu (and ik it's his second design, because first one was this purple with black stripes, but yeaaaa... I still love him tho, I also have somewhere Garmadon figure :D)
Tumblr media
And my thoughts about new seasons??? Actually i don't have any, because yk i heard a lot of negative opinion about everything after the movie (which i was on premiere, in cinema full of uncultured, awful, disgusting, yelling children), so I don't have any expectations much but if they are good, I will love it with my whole body :DDD
Yeah too little Jay is always awful for Jayfandom, they can't simp for their favorite simp /j
And yes, I hung my ninjago dragons on the lamp and I have so small amount of them because those my parents bought me when I was minor and lego is so FUCKING expensive... (i have also this lego ninjago castle from lego ninjago movie)
Tumblr media
Funfact: I polish version Kai has the same VA as Wheeljack and Steeljaw, and Cliffjumper with Zane, and Bulkhead with Garmadon????
Or that Jay is sharing VA with Finn from adventure time and Master Wu with Jake??? XDDDDD

Nishikido Ryo
Natalie Mu 2023.06.28
rough translation of the interview below
Q: First of all, how did you feel when you were offered this film?
Ryo: I felt honoured to be asked to be an actor again.
Q: Let's Get Divorced was co-written by Kudo Kankuro and Oishi Shizuka. The two of them wrote a several scenes each, like an exchange diary, what did you think when you first read the script?
Ryo: I thought, "That's interesting." I knew that it was written by both of them, but I didn't know which part was written by which person, and I was surprised that something written by both of them could become a single drama script in this way. I was surprised at the core of the story. As for the story, for example, if I heard from someone in my private life that they were getting divorced, I might think "I see, good luck with that", and just like in the drama, something might start from the divorce. ...... However, I have never compared the contents of the dramas that I have been allowed to appear to myself. I think it's all about "interesting as a drama".
Q: Kano Kyoji, played by Nishikido, falls in love with Kurosawa Yui, an actress played by Naka Riisa and is involved with her husband, Shoji Taishi, played by Matsuzaka Tori. What was your impression of Kyoji?
Ryo: He says what he wants to say and does what he wants to do. Perhaps it may seem selfish, but I had the impression that he values who he is the most.
Q: Were there any aspects of Kyoji that you found easy or difficult to play?
Ryo: I've never found it easy to play any role. I read the script, think 'this is how I should say the lines', and if it's different, I discuss it with the director or producer and make corrections. I think the result is a complete work of cinema.
Q: So, what was your impression of Kyoji now that you actually played him?
Ryo: There are several scenes in which he gives an object of his own making to Yui, saying, "This is how I feel," and in one scene where he gives an object to Yui, the script's introduction says, "An object that looks as much like faeces as possible" (laughs). But as Kyoji, he is doing it seriously to convey his feelings to Yui, and when I was performing the scene, I thought, "This (scene) isn’t supposed to be funny," and then I thought, "It's bad if I were to laugh here," so I concentrated on it and did my best.
Q: Kyoji's character is set up as a "self-proclaimed artist with a hint of sex appeal" - were you conscious of his sex appeal?
Ryo: I don't think you can ever be sexy if you think, 'I'm going to do this to be sexier’. That’s just based on my thoughts on "What is sex appeal? (Laughs) I think sex appeal is something that leaks out, not something that is forced out, so I did it while praying, "Let it leak out, even if just a little!”
Q: Kyoji was described by Yui when they first met as "alive yet dead". What do you think of Kyoji's way of life?
Ryo: I wasn't particularly conscious of that either. 'Alive yet dead' may refer to Kyoji's actions and facial expressions, but that’s how Yui perceived. However, I think some things changed little by little after meeting Yui. For example, it is not easy to walk into the campaign office of Yui's husband, Taishi, and suddenly say, "I need to talk to you," and Kyoji had no hesitation in doing so, so I thought, "That's amazing.
Q: What did you think of the finished film?
Ryo: Once I started watching it as one of the viewers, I thought I would probably watch all the episodes at once. And because there are no commercials in the middle of the show, each episode is about an hour long, which I thought was a huge luxury. I also felt that it was a luxury to be allowed to act in such a film.
Q: What did you think of the performances of the lead actors, Matsuzaka and Naka?
Ryo: I thought Matsuzaka-san was a great fit for the character of Taishi, and I thought he was a wonderful actor. Ms Naka-san usually wears her hair in a flashy colour (laughs), but when she is acting, she is naturally a solid actress, and I thought the gap between the two was amazing. I felt that she was a wonderful actress. Also, when I watched the scenes I was not in later, I thought to myself, "It's amazing that everyone does so many things in spite of their busy schedules”.
Q: As an actor, how did you encounter the role of Kyoji?
Ryo: It's a very personal thing, but thanks to all of you, I think it has become a role that the most number of times people say "I love him" among all the roles I've played so far.
Q: Did Oishi or Kudo-san say anything about the finished drama?
Ryo: No, I haven't been able to see them after the shoot, so I don't have anything special to say. Besides, I don't think it's anything to worry about. It's not limited to this time, but there may be times when it doesn't work out even if I had a great response. Recently, I don't think there is that much of a gap anymore, but I believe that the viewers are the judge of the finished work. However, I think "Let's Get Divorced" was a very interesting production from the side of the side of someone who’s in it, and I hope many people will see it.
Q: This is the third drama in which Nishikido has appeared in Kudo-san’s production, following Ryusei no Kizuna and Gommen ne Seishun!! What does Kudo-san’s productions mean to you?
Ryo: There is no one who is just plain mean and infuriating. I think he is good at writing works about people who are in the end forgivable or forgiving in some way. In "Let's Get Divorced", which he also wrote together with Oishi, there are no nasty people who make you think, "What the hell is wrong with him? It's a good feeling to watch the film because there are no nasty people in it.
Q: Nishikido-san, you have recently been appearing in a series of dramas and movies. Have you noticed any changes in the difficulty or enjoyment of acting?
Ryo: I think there are a lot of people who can act well by just by feeling, but I've never had much success with that, so I try not to dwell about it. I don't want to sound like I'm trying to be cool when I say "I'm doing it by feeling" (laughs) but that's the only way I know how to do it. I don't think I can perform a role by myself.  If I remember my lines well and face the person in front of me, that person will respond to me. Even if it's not a line, sometimes they will respond with a facial expression. If I can be aware of these changes, I think I will be able to perform the role properly.
Q: is there anything you would like to do in your future acting career?
Ryo: When I was a teenager, I might have said, "I want to be in this kind of work," but now I would like to try various things if given the opportunity. I hope that in the future, there will be something that I can do, not just with roles that are offered, but something that from my own initiative.
Q: Nishikido-san, you are also active as a musician. Is there any connection between what you value in both your activities as an actor and a musician? Or are they completely different?
Ryo: I have never thought about it. I don't think it's necessary to think about it, and I don't know ....... I don't think there is any need to force a connection. I just have to do my best to do what I have to do.
Q: Does having both activities have any positive effect on each?
Ryo: I don't know that either. I think there is both fun and pain in both. For example, when I am going on a tour, I think, "Let's put out some new songs," and I work hard on them, but sometimes the deadline looms and I think, "What am I going to do? Acting and music are the same in the sense that they are both work that I am doing right now, so I don't change my mind about them. I don't need to switch my mind. I think I have been able to strike a good balance between the two.
Q: For example, what are the moments when you feel enjoyment in your musical activities? Ryo: It's the same with acting, but I don't often think "it's fun" while I'm doing it. There are times when I work hard and when the work is finished I think "that was fun", but I don't think I've ever worked while thinking "this is fun, this is fun". I chose the path I'm on now, so if I waver in that
