Did you know? 🐚
Whenever a hermit crab finds a shell that’s too big for it to live in, it proceeds to settle down and wait for other crabs to come
Then, they proceed to line up from biggest to smallest and exchange their shells accordingly
here’s a short video on that :)

Hello lovelies!
I'm a wally and accidentally deleted my pinned post, so here's a new one.
There were too many great posts out there that didn't fit my DBH blog, so inevitably I caved and made a sideblog.
All follows, likes, asks etc will come from my main @thirium-800 😌
If I reblog an old post of yours, don't be creeped out. I just have a draft problem. 1000s of posts in there. we don't talk about it 🤡
MDNI, I'm old.

Cicada shell double-decker on a geode. I legit found these 2 shells like this. So lucky I got them off the neighbor's fence & inside without them coming apart. Cicadas really like that fence!

Uhhhhhh I just learned that crocodiles can swim up to 22 mph and YouTube has a endless supply of these horror films and I just can’t stop staring and it’s 4 AM and my eyes burn but I’m utterly
~Fascinated~
***edit: my 4AM brain/eyes missed the obvious fact that this photo is of an alligator but it’s beautiful nonetheless so pretend otherwise ok
