Only ones I created with the Wishmakers concept in mind so far have been Stella (Amber’s firefly fae), Silky (spider fae from Double Major’s 3rd chapter), and also the versions of the cat and ladybug that Nathan and Alya got in Double Major.

I think Silky would’ve been very excitable, being born out of a desire to be listened and payed attention to, she’s basically the best audience you could ask for. Being a great listener and having great pointers to give. She really liked Paulo (their Wishmaker) and I like to think they still visit him even though they’re not contract-bound anymore. (and funfact: her design was inspired by some of the spiders in Hollow Knight! The head shape I took directly from Hornet, lmao).

Stella, I haven’t had the time to think about much, but I think he’d be as much of a shit-stirrer as Amber. Except, while she’s more involved in rumors and gossip, actively spreading them up herself, he’s more of an observer who likes to watch shit’s go down who’ll occasionally flash a light on a particular detail to see what happens.

I’m still brainstorming on Plugg and Takki, and how seriously I want to take them is still in question, lol. I think Plugg is more electricity than destruction, though, and Takki is definitely spicy

This is for me one of “Representations” most shocking moments because it shows you how much power Tomoe (and Gabriel) HAVE with the Alliance technology. This entire event never happened and not only do their children know it because Tomoe and Gabriel do nothing but rub it in their faces how powerless they are against them as their parents,

It’s also influencing international media and news channels. In the most frighteningly casual way. The amount of hundrents of millions of people top news like these can reach in todays world in the (generalised) western world ALONE is insane, but you and me know that Tomoe’s technology isnt just influencing the western world, it’s 100% in Asia too (duh), the Americas and let’s not pretend like all of Africa is just the poor people you see in media and news.

The amount of POWER Tomoe has to do this is on a whole different level. Who knows how many times she already did this? And the scariest part of it is that unlike Gabriel Tomoe is being incredibly smart and doesnt draw too much attention to herself if it isn't explicitly needed (which is probably also why Adrien and the Agreste Brand are made out to be a bigger deal than Kagami and Tomoe's empire, which by all means isn't true)

She’s in control of a whole techonology empire. Is even in (technological) charge of space exploration. She has the resources, technology and experience apparently to bend and confine Kwamis and their raw powers. She’s on top of the food chain of whatever the hell this rich people cult is and has superhuman powers HERSELF as civilian.

And now your telling me she is capable of controlling the international/ world wide media with fake news??

I know it's not really the right chapter for me to be asking this but:

I get you keeping a third of the secondary heroes since their powers really click with the personalities, but what made you decide to keep Max as the horse and change everybody else? I feel like out of the ones you kept he's the one that fits the least-

To start, I assigned Max the Horse Miraculous back before I was planning on having all the Miraculouses in the field. At that point, the only "extras" beyond the main 5 I was going to have were Luka/Viperion, Kagami/Ryuko, and Max/Pegasus.

This three way kwami swap wouldn't really work, because the Snake was pivotal in defeating Desperada, which as an akuma after Jagged Stone and guitarists, it made the most sense for the center character to be Luka. While other Miraculouses could've finished off Ikari Gozen, I knew it had to be Kagami's debut episode, and I knew Max would be the hero in "Robostus" to deal with Markov. While Kagami probably could've used the horse (since Marigold had Venom to stop Ikari Gozen), I had a set way for Max to deal with Markov as Pegasus, so everything just slid into the three keeping their Miraculouses.

Maybe I could've thought a little longer to make it work, but at the time, the idea of Kagami and Max having a kwami swap never even crossed my mind, and if it did, I probably would've dismissed it because then it would've left Luka as the only one not to swap (besides Adrien). Personally, I would've felt off balanced. I especially didn't even consider swapping out the Snake, Dragon, or Horse for one of the zodiacs that, at the time, I had no intention of using. Idk why but it's like a wall was there preventing me from even thinking in that direction.

By the time I decided to add the rest of the zodiac, I had JUST FINISHED "ROBOSTUS". So kinda too little too late lol.

I'm not sure what Miraculous I'd give him if I had absolute free range. Maybe the snake, ignoring how essential it was in "Desperada". "StarTrain" did try to imply that the user of the Horse Miraculous needed a good grasp on geography, which is "why" it's suited for someone smart like Max:

But then it also implied that Max messed it up lol.

I think they kinda dropped that idea once other people started using it (like, how would Monarch even know the exact longitude and latitude of his akuma victims to use Voyage to teleport his akumas?).

I do kinda want to draw the Kept Their Canon Miraculous Club kids in each other's Miraculouses though. That is a six way kwami swap (seven if I add in poor Alix).

In the Miraculous double Kwami AU, would Mari still forget to purify Stoneheart's akuma in his first appearance? And would she get the battle ending easily bc she has two of the most broken Miraculous giving her an edge, or would she fumble with all her new powers and senses?

Actually, she wouldn't. But it's less about her forgetting and more because she would only be transformed with Tikki at the time. She designs her outfit with both Miraculous to appear identical so nobody else can tell the difference when she's transformed between the two of them. So she can use one and use their power, then switch once her timer's up and be in hero mode with the other to keep up the fight.

Meanwhile, the other kwami can rest or recover. AND they can offer input and guidance.

In this case, while she's transformed with the Ladybug Miraculous, Plagg is still active and thus in prime position to give advice.

"Follow the trail of destruction!"

"Jump!"

"Huh...I thought cats were supposed to be the ones to get caught up in thread?" ("Just help me get loose!")

"Miraculous powers are single use! You only got one shot so don't waste it early!"

"Ooo crushing and smashing! An akuma after my own heart!" ("PLAGG!")

"There's the akuma! Don't forget to capture it!" ("HOW?!")

"Uuuuugh! Do I have to explain everything?" ("Plagg, this is literally my first time at any of this!") "Fine, fine!"

("Bye bye, little butterfly!") "Please tell me this isn't going to become a 'thing'."

"Okay, now throw it." ("Wait what?") "Throw the Lucky Charm." ("But...at what? And why?") "THROW THE LUCKY CHARM IN THE AIR ALREADY!" ("Okay okay!")

She captures the akuma and uses the Miraculous Cure that first time, repairing the damage and learning of the Cure.

And while she's still anxious and uncertain, she doesn't go through the same event as canon where she tries to give up the Miraculous.

...Plagg doesn't let her.

Plagg: (Gasp) You would abandon us to an unknown user who could abuse our power and let us starve?!

Marinette: Plagg, I'm sure they wouldn't just—

Plagg: (Sad kitten eyes)

Marinette: Surely someone else would be better at this and—

Plagg: (Sadder kitten eyes)

Marinette: You'd be perfectly well cared for and—

Plagg: (Eyes become big and deep, drawing her in and drowning in sadness)

Marinette: ...I'm so sorry! I would never abandon you! (Crying and hugging Plagg)

(Five minutes later, Plagg is sitting on a pile of cheese and Marinette is plotting to be a better hero.)

Tikki: I don't think I've ever seen you care so much about an user before.

Plagg: She lives on a bakery and makes all sorts of food including the best cheeses. No way I'm giving that up!

Tikki: (Rolls eyes)

Kaleidoscope AU 🐞 (Kwami Swap Amnesia AU)

The "gum incident" from Origins does still happen - but with slightly different results. Adrien quickly forgets that it even happened while Marinette continued to assume Adrien was just some aloof jerk. But she eventually learns that Adrien wasn't the one who put the gum on her seat.

Since it was never actually resolved, Marinette draws the conclusion that Adrien must hate her for wrongly accusing him. But if you were to ask Adrien about it, he doesn't remember such a thing ever happening...

While Marinette remained stubborn for at first, it didn't take long for the rest of the Miracuclass quickly find that Adrien wasn't a snobbish brat like Chloe. Since he still doesn't join the class on hangouts or extracuriculars though, they believe he's just more of a loner type. (he's a bit weird, but they just brush it off)

Y/n wandered over to her locker, replacing her books.  She let out a breath through her mouth in a sigh.  She bowed her head and closed her eyes in defeat, shutting the locker door.

“There you are.”

Her head shot upwards, eyes growing wide.  She turned to her left, being met with green eyes.

“Oh, it’s you.”  Y/n whispered, more relaxed.

“Who else would it be?”  Adrien asked.  Y/n let out a small humorless laugh.

“Yeah.  Who else?”  She muttered under her breath.  She knew he didn’t mean it as an insult, but he could have worded it better.

“What?”  Adrien asked, cocking his head to the side.

“Nothing.  How’s Marinette?”  Y/n asked, trying to change the subject.

“Oh, she’s fine; just very clumsy.”

It seemed to work.

“I see.”  The two became silent for a moment.

“So, I’ll see if I can talk my father into letting you come over to practice piano.”  Adrien announced, breaking the slight tension.

“I don’t want to inconvenience you, or your father.”  Y/n admitted.

“I’m sure it’ll be fine.”

~Plagg, claws out~

“Absolutely not.”

“But, father-” Adrien started to protest.

“I will not have a near stranger in this establishment.”

“But I told her I would teach her piano.”

“Well you’ll just have to tell her no, or figure something else out.”

Adrien sighed in defeat, hanging his head.

“Yes, father.”  He said, walking out and closing the door behind him.  He walked to his room and collapsed on the bed.

“Now what?”

Plagg flew out from his jacket.

“I don’t know.  He said she was a near stranger.”  The kwami noted.

“So I’ll just have to get to know her better!”  Adrien exclaimed, a huge smile on his face.  His face fell.  “How do I tell her I can’t teach her yet?”

“Be honest.”  Plagg advised.  Adrien sighed.

“But I feel like I’d be cheating her.  What if she insists on teaching me to draw when I can’t teach her piano?”

The kwami shrugged unhelpfully.  “I’m sure you’ll figure something out.”  He remarked, stuffing another piece of cheese down his throat.  Adrien rolled his eyes.

“Helpful.”  He remarked sarcastically.

~Claws in~

Adrien walked up the steps to the school the next day.  He wandered around looking for any sign of Y/n.

“Where could she be?”  Adrien wondered aloud.  Plagg stuck his head out of Adrien’s jacket.

“Where does she usually hang out?”

“I don’t know.  I only met her yesterday.”

“Well, good luck.”  Plagg offered.  Adrien sighed and shook his head.  He wandered all over the school until he entered the classroom.  He looked around and saw Y/n sitting in her seat in the back, sketching.  Adrien smiled and made his way up to her.

Y/n saw his shadow and looked up, pulling the earbuds out of her ears.

“Hey.”  He greeted.

“Hello.”  She answered quietly, smiling.  Adrien sighed.

“Look, I’m sorry, but my father thinks I should get to know you better before you enter our ‘establishment’.  How lame is that?”  He explained, using quotation marks, sitting down next to her.  She smirked.

“I don’t blame him.”

Adrien looked up at her in confusion.

“Would you like a stranger in your big, expensive house with expensive things in it?”  She asked.  Adrien smiled.

“I never thought of it like that.”  He said, folding his arms on the desk in front of him.  Y/n smiled.

“Your dad’s probably just taking precautions.  We can’t be mad at him for it.”

Adrien smiled.

“You’re so understanding.”  He noted.  Her cheeks turned a shade of scarlet, but she pretended not to notice.  She hoped if she didn’t notice, he wouldn’t either.

“I’m observant.”  She clarified.  “I see things, and based on what I see, and know about that person, or thing, make a reasonable guess.  It’s really not that special.”

“If you say so.”  He said.

“So, what did you want to draw?”  She asked him.

“Oh, uh.  I don’t know.  I didn’t really think about it.”  He confessed.  Y/n looked out the window and saw a small creature fly by.

“How about a ladybug?  That’s a pretty easy start.”

Adrien looked to her and shrugged, slightly pink.

“Sure.”  He chuckled nervously.  Y/n smirked and playfully rolled her eyes.

“So, start with a circle.  For a perfect circle, place your finger and pencil down, and turn the paper.  Like this.”  Y/n advised, showing him.  He nodded and followed her guidance.  It wasn’t a perfect circle, but it was close.

“Good.”  Y/n complimented.  “Now draw a semi-circle for the head, using the same method, just don’t turn the paper all the way around.”  She showed again, and Adrien did as instructed.  Y/n looked over at his paper and smiled.

“Perfect!”  She exclaimed.  Adrien smiled down at the paper in pride.

“You think so?”

“Of course!  Now we draw spots using more circles.”  She said, drawing spots.  Adrien followed and he drew spots.  They weren’t perfect circles, but they were close enough.

“Now we draw the line for the wings when they open them.”  She explained drawing a simple line down the back of the ladybug.  Again, Adrien followed.

“Now the legs and shading.”  They drew the legs, but when it came time for shading Adrien’s pencil stopped an inch above the paper.  Y/n looked over at him.

“What’s wrong?”  She questioned.

“Just nervous.”  He admitted.  Y/n smiled softly at him.  She reached over and placed her hand atop his, pressing it gently onto the paper.

“You can’t get better if you don’t take risks.”  She advised.  Adrien nodded and began shading in the dots, head, and legs first.  Y/n smiled and glanced up at the clock, seeing 7 minutes till class.  A few people were just starting to enter.  Y/n quickly shaded in her ladybug, and shaded the paper beneath it.

2 minutes till class.  Adrien sat his pencil down and looked proudly at his paper.  He looked to Y/n’s and his eyes grew wide.

“Wow, that’s amazing, Y/n.  It looks like it’s coming off the page!”  He commented.  Y/n looked down at it and observed her own piece.

“It’s just shading below it.  Yours looks good, too.”

“Not nearly as good as yours.”

“Practice.  You’ll get better.”  She said, smiling.  She quickly glanced at the clock again.

“You’d better get to your seat.  Class is about to start.”

Adrien looked up at the clock and his eyes widened.  He quickly picked up his stuff.

“Thanks, Y/n.”  He said, holding his things.  She smiled and nodded at him.  “No problem.”

He smiled back and headed to his seat.  Y/n slid her drawing things back into her bag and pulled out her literature book, ready for class.

Hi, Your art is amazing, can I ask how you draw your kwamis? They look so pretty and soft, having their essence, without look like canon.

To answer you're actual question though, I usually use the 'shape abstractions' and they are pretty much just shapes. I usually focus more on choosing a specific shape for a kwami, one that kinda reflects their personality.

So triangles and sharps for Plagg, Trixx, Longg.

Rounds and softs for Tikki, Wayzz, Fluff.

And so on.

I try to keep them simple and about the same level of detail to each other, but not just... boring. So i like to use patterns, the obvious spots for Tikki, but the stripes and splotches for Longg and Fluff.

How i decide whether limbs are attached is just wether or not i think they look good.

So i think its pretty much canon that kwamis can just??? shapeshift? or project a form that they want to be. So i never really got why they chose or stuck with the form in the show.

I like the idea that they are not normal, theyre magical, they dont work with physics. They dont need to breathe or sleep or eat (except to recharge), they dont even need a mouth to talk, they just do that for funzies. And their form would reflect that (abstraction).

Where does the food go when they eat it?? its certainly not going into their guts, they dont have any. Its converted into pure energy, the kind they use to power up.

Regarding the kwamis relationships with eachother, the zodiac kwamis are part of their own group, while the main five are alligned under Tikki and Plagg.

So really they should be separate boxes, i imagine some of the zodiac kwamis are abit peeved being stuck with them. Theyre essentially a found family, being stuck with another separate to theirs in the same house. or box even...

Kwamis choose their groups unless they are complementary (I.e. Tikki and Plagg), and when they do they bond for life, or eternity, since they arent mortal.

Not all kwamis get along, but within their own groups, wether or not they get along its more like family, i.e. sibling rivalry, falling out with a parent, whatever. But they will always back eachother up no matter what.

The zodiacs are not loyal to the creation/ destruction box and vice versa. They just happen to be put together by mortals.

Kwamis usually choose their primary forms as a group, so they match styles. Its usually done once every few decades unless a kwami chooses to bring it to attention and call a meeting. Sometimes if they bond enough with their mortals they might choose to reflect that in their forms, i.e. toys or truer to life versions.

Their true forms are similar to canon, giving biblically accurate angel vibes. Mortals dont usually react well, hense the smaller forms.

Miracubots AU

Sooooo, me and a friend reconnected after a few years of silence (Thanks depression) and discovered not only do we still share similar old fandom brainrot, but we share NEW fandom brain rot and have very similar opinions about the Miraculous series, which lead into the brainrots fusing and with their permission. I present. THE MIRACUBOTS AU

AKA What if we took the cool and interesting magic system and initial set up of Miraculous....AKA the only good bits, and put it in a show with great writing and characters who we love and who deserve to go feral on a villain every now and again?

The AU takes place instead of the canon season four, Cody is aged up a little to 14/15, Doctor Morroco never lost his Verns device to Madeline Pynch so he's still around to be a menace, and the Prime bots...We haven't fully established if Prime is still happening, or if it's after RiD but the Autobots are still around and mentioned occasionally. And since it's a different version of season 4, the bots are still undercover to the town, only the family knowing they are sentient.

Madeline takes stage as the main villain of the series having acquired the Butterfly Miraculous and after discovering Nooroo and it's power, forcing the Kwami to tell her all about the other Miraculous, including the fact that using two of them, the Ladybug and Black Cat together gives one the power to alter reality.

Seeing an easy way to get her goal of being the riches and most powerful person on the planet, she forces Nooroo to tell her where the Miracle box is, but the poor Kwami can only confirm he senses it on Griffin Rock. With her goal in mind Pynch uses the Butterfly to become Swallowtail creating her first Akuma to draw out the guardian and hopefully the Miraculous she seeks.

Master Fu once he realizes what is happening, charges Tikki and Plagg to find two children they resinate strongly with to become the new holders of their Miraculous, reasoning that Children will be easy to teach and control, and he'd be better able to take the Miraculous back from children if the pair chose poorly.

To no one in this fandom's surprise, Cody Burns is who's picked by Tikki to be her holder. He does try to convince her to go to his dad or siblings so they can protect her after she tells him she's what the Akuma is after. But Tikki insists that she picked the right person to be her holder able to sence Cody having a loving heart full of courage.

Cody becomes the new Ladybug Hero Beetletron! looking very much like a miniature version of one of the Rescuebots, though one with a beetle Altmord, when he asks about it Tikki explains that it's because well, the Rescuebots have more or lest become his mental image of what a hero should *be* and thus the Miraculous copied their form. The name comes from Cody trying to think of a Cybertronian sounding name and vaguely remembering hearing the bots talk about some important mech from Cybertron....something-tron? Well it sounds robotic and he's a beetle so, Beetletron!

Fighting against the Akuma he's joined by another hero, a girl in a cyber punk looking get up, dark leathers and neon greens with a head covering mask, she even has a USB cable acting as a tail that she can use with her tech knowhow to hack! The new Black Cat introduces herself as Felidae Fatale, named for the scientific cat family Felidae, and well, she might not be the classic version of a Femme Fatale, she'll prove she can be just as badass as they can be.

Working together feeling like they've known each other for years though they just met, they beat the Akuma, and when Swallowtail makes her threat to claim their Miraculous's they confidently announce they'll make sure a villain like her, never wins.

In the aftermath the pair meet up and agree, keeping a secret identity from the other would be pretty silly considering the life and death danger their in, so. Reveal themselves.

And Cody laughs crying as he hugs his best friend Frankie, as there really could be no other person it would be.

But seriously? Getting stuck in the past for a year, of course, everything goes wrong on the day of the Prime Queen interview. Now she’s stuck in the past and thanks to her team using akumatized Bunnix her identity has been revealed in the grandest way ever…on the Prime Interview by her Akumatized teammates.

With only the butterfly and peacock miraculouses as her aid, Marinette and past Marinette must fight to get her team back before they rip the timeline apart…literally. But first Marinette has to avoid her nosy past classmates, her worried past parents, younger Chat Noir, and a very curious public along with a desperate Chat Blanc who will stop at nothing to ensure his lady is safely back in his arms and his family is forever whole.

Flairmidable along with Gabriel take the chance to attack her and take her miraculous. Gabriel finally has the Ladybug Miraculous along with Marinette herself. Gabriel has seen how smart and creative Marinette can be with the Miraculouses along with the fact she knows the zodiac kwamis well. Gabriel takes this chance to control the Miraculous Guardian to do his bidding as he forces Marinette to destroy the very city she vowed to protect.

All while Chat Noir is forced to stand alone against a very powerful Monarch.
