Since the beginning Jungwon knew he would be busted the moment you stepped into the classroom. You were the new student and as you introduced yourself Jungwon was busy being love strucked, was it love at first sight? He doesn’t believe in such shit but damn he for sure considered it.

What captured him the most were your lips, those glossy pinkish lips that looked like strawberry coated with sugar.

To his luck the seat next to him was empty because a week ago his friend Sunoo changed subjects saying biology is boring as fuck… dude really thought biology would be fun? now he’s in history class as if that wasn’t even more boring.

But Jungwon couldn’t thank him enough, you‘re gonna be his new seat mate.

You were walking your way up to the empty seat noticing the boy with curious eyes watching you, you smiled at him and he returned the smile.

„Hi sorry but i didn’t catch your name“, „it’s y/n“ when you both made eye contact you swear you could see sparkles in his eyes he is so pretty

„and yours?“, „jungwon, yang jungwon.“

Jungwon couldn’t really keep his eyes off you the whole class long, he would look at you with a side-eye noticing that you’re nibbling on your gorgeus lips. „tasty?“ he asks leaning slighlty back, „huh?“, „your lips“, thinking for a second what he means by that „ohh-“ slightly chucking „..it’s a habit, but yes it’s actually tasty, tastes like strawberry“ you grin at him taking out the lipstick you always carry around, appyling it on your lips to keep them smooth.

Jungwon could only watch, mesmerized by your beauty and realising once again that he’s fucked.

-2 weeks later-

As you walked into school, approaching your locker you noticed Jungwon leaning on it looking fine as fuck with his leather jacket and his styled hair talking with Sunoo.

At your first day here Jungwon wanted to walk you around and introduce you to his friends, gotta say they are definetly some dorks but you knew it would never be boring. Since then you all started to be friends.

Sunoo is the one who sees you first „hi bestie“ he grins at you, putting his hand up for a high five which you high fived back „hi hi“ you laughed, turning to Jungwon seeing him already looking at you with adoration, you don’t know why but everytime you interract with Jungwon you heart beats faster.

Ever since these last two weeks you both started to bond over the tiniest things feeling really comfortable around him, such a god damn gentle man when i tell you.

Noticing him staring at your lips which were once again painted with a lipstick- „i would say blueberry or grape because they look slightly purplish“, you laughed, you both had this game in which he would guess the lipstick you had for the day, don’t know when or why this game started but it was kinda fun. „it’s blueberry“ you answered, „man i’m so good in this“ he pats his own shoulder making you giggle.

Taking your books out for biology „ready for hell?“ asking him wiggling the book of anatomy in your arm „wouldn’t call it hell when you’re with me“ he simply states, making you chocke on your saliva looking at Sunoo who only smugly smiles at you bidding his good bye for his history class „bye bye lovebirds“ leaving you alone with Jungwon who stares at your lips once again. You cough „well let’s go.“

After that flirty accident Jungwon started to get more bold, saying stuff like: hey gorgeus, princess , telling you most likely everday you look pretty, complimenting your lips, stroking the hair out of your face to have the excuse to rest his hand on your cheek, slinging his arm over your shoulder. But two could play this game.

„hey handsome“ sitting down on your seat, looking at you „hey gorgeus“, leaning down for you bag thankfully your hair covering you red cheeks, yeah you’re boldness left your body.

„are you free after school?“ he asks „why? you wanna hang out?“, „yeah i wanted to take you somewhere“ looking at him with knitted eyebrows „why does that sound like you’re gonna kill me and burry me somewhere in the woods?“, rolling his eyes „god woman you gotta stop watching true crimes“, „can’t, they’re to good, anyways yeah i’m free“, „perfect“ it was quite for a second until- „strawberry?“ noticing him staring at your lips „yes sir“ poking his dimple making him smile.

When school ended you both walked outside seeing one of Jungwons friend „HE HE“ you greeted Heeseung, him turning around looking at you annoyed „shut up michael jackson“, making you chuckle „you both going somewhere?“, „si seniorita“, looking at you with a glare „i hate your humor“ heeseung says, „you’re just jealous“ you answer back, you could annoy Heeseung 24/7, Jungwon slings his arm around your shoulder „well, before you both strangle each other i’m taking her with me see ya“ walking side by side bumping your hip into his „so where are we going?“ „you will see.“

After 15 minutes of walking you knew where he is gonna take you and your heart is about to burst, he once asked you what your favourite season of the year is and you immediately answered with „spring, definetly spring“, he looked at you „why?“ „because of the cherry blossom, they’re so so pretty“ you answered with adoration in your eyes and Jungwon only fell more in love.

Still having his arm slinged around your shoulder you take his hand that was hanging next to your neck in your hand squeezing it as you approached the ‘‘cherry blossom festival“ you looked up at him with happiness „jungwon-“, „we’re here“ he looks at you with a smile squeezing your hand back, „stop, it’s so pretty here“ you walked further from him admiring the scenery, the blossoms swaying with the wind past your hair, one sitting on top of your head.

Jungwon watches you with a big smile, you turn around walking back to him hugging him „thank you, it’s so calming and beautiful here“, he hugs you back slinging his arms around your waist „you’re welcome princess“ you lean back admiring his eyes they are full of love, moving his hand to your head he removes the blossom letting it sway with the light breeze again.

Looking you straight in the eyes one arm around your waist and the other hand on your cheek slightly caressing it with his thumb, „i love you“ your hear your heart thumping in your ears „i love you too“, leaning closer, few centimeters away from kissing each other, until he closes the gap, engulfing your lips with his, melting into his touch kissing him back he pulls you closer by the waist not wanting to break this moment, if it wouldn’t be for the oxygen, you broke the kiss catching your breath staring at him, him carressing your lips with his thumb „they do really taste like strawberry“, „tasty?“, „hell yes“ leaning down kissing you again.

The classroom is small. So small you wouldn't have believed it to be one if not for four desks seemingly arbitrary scattered around the dust spotted floor. The rest of the room itself is undecorated; standard pearly white walls partnered with a bare bulletin board were really the only things that occupy the room. No teacher's desk. No chalk board. No individuality from any of the other insanitary rooms in the building.

The full bag of binders and an array of colored led pencils dangle from your shoulder as you sit in the desk furthest from the front of the room. You wish to draw as little attention to yourself as possible. Having a bad reputation in a four student classroom would have you socially exiled from everyone within a mile of the classroom. A seemingly impossible task but do-able enough that you’d avoid it at all costs, even if that meant squinting to see if something was put on the board.

You pull paper from your bag and plant it on your desk, deciding to sketch whatever comes to mind in the margins to pass time after being early to class by a few minutes. Before you can finish any form of art, the classroom door knob rattles and twists forcibly. A boy who you imagine is another student emerges from the now open door and trudges through the frame. He has on a uniform similar to your own, the same deep navy blue long-sleeve shirt with a pair of cream colored buttons to support its quaint collar. To your surprise he sat himself down on the desk in front of you. If not for the desks being diagonal from each other, his messy and near pointy bed head hair would've blocked your view of the bulletin board.

You almost felt a bit offended that he hadn't spoken to you upon his arrival yet you hadn't said anything to him either. You were new, it would’ve been expected of you to announce your presence or greet him first, no matter the severity of the frown he wears. Or how hard he glares.

Curious, your torso falls over the side of your desk, barely enough to catch a glimpse of his collection of school supplies which consists of a few sheets of lined paper, an accordion style folder, and a clear cased, blue ink filled pen. His pen is loud, it scratches the paper rather than drags along it prompting an irritable dry noise. It seems he doesn’t mind as much as you do for his eyes are affixed to the characters he writes along his paper, however he’s definitely noticed you staring.

“What are you doing?” His voice is like silk however the tone in which he speaks is commanding enough to overpower the satiny of his words.

“Sorry,” you were really but he looked doubtful, “I was just wondering.”

With his back still facing yours, he grumbles.

A sigh, "I'm working on cards." Megumi's not sure what internal loose screws made his mouth fix to respond to you but he’d already spit out his answer before he realized he spoke.

Cards? You think.

Right. Valentines day.

A look at the assortment of pre-folded cardstock paper showed a few small doodles hiding by its corner. They look like they'd been drawn by a child no older than eight.

“That’s cute.”

His head whips back to his own creations, in a few quiet deep breaths he utters, “Thank.. you.”

“Who are they for?” You're not sure why but you suddenly yearn for a conversation with him. To intake his soft voice for another moment, even a brief one. He’s alluring in a fashion that makes your heart and thoughts race, his presence makes your cheeks sear, and the passionate and intimate way he rants on about his cards he’ll soon give away is incomparable.

“It’s really sweet that you’re spending so much time making this stuff. Like, the card making in itself is thoughtful but I think it’s admirable to actually try.”

“Are you hitting on me or something?”

“No,” you weren’t entirely sure if you were or not. Maybe your mouth kept running out of desperation but it hadn’t felt that way absolutely, “I just want to give you a compliment on your art and crafts stuff here.”

He scoffs, “This is barely ‘arts and crafts.’”

“Card making is definitely arts and crafts. You’re crafting a card.”

“All I did was fold it.”

Yes but, “That still qualifies as arts and crafts.”

“Take a shot everytime you say crafts.”

You honestly laugh, he’s funny, “You’re funny, y’know.”

“I’ve been told.” You hear the smile in his tone. You wish you could see it.
