Very long Chapter 96 feelings/thoughts below cut coz I saved my hard-earned Naver cookies for this and I'm going to react while it's fresh dammit.

Spoilers in every possible way, as always.

Oh my God its their first official date and of course it doesn't go Theo's way at all coz he's fighting a lost cause against an author with a sense of humour I share. Thank God his people love him

Nearly 100 chapters later and only now do we start steering towards Therdeo "My angel" Lapileon from the prologue (which I still find it difficult to fathom; the road is long and arduous from Therdeo 'Face as Red as My Eyes' Lapileon we see right now)

I have yet to translate the dialogue properly, but that last panel of him honestly unnerves me (and judging from Google Translated comments in Korean, I'm not the only one.) I'm not really one for the kind of ML who is madly obsessive over their love interest to extremely difficult extents coz I'm too old and cynical to see this as a good thing in a relationship, fictional or otherwise (This is purely a personal preference; no judgement if that's your jam and jelly)

But the thing is that it makes sense. Of course Theo would get dangerous over the first woman he's fallen in love with. Of course he'd do anything to keep her now that, yknow, she's actually made her feelings known. After 90+ chapters of angsting, literally watching her die a few times in front of him, holding such huge feelings of guilt for what his blood has done to her, quietly despairing over keeping anyone close to him coz he's a Lapileon and they succumb so often to death -- this overwhelming fear of losing her is understandable. The idea of her leaving now must be intolerable, like "not after every damn thing I've been through. Everything we have been through. Over my cold dead body".

...I've had the thought quite a few times that seungu succeeded in convincing me that Theo is scary, and this chapter - while also very sweet - is really laying that fact out again in no uncertain terms: Therdeo Lapileon really shouldn't be messed with.

The thing is, meta-wise, there is no end to cold, stern dukes of the frozen North with fearsome reputations, black/dark hair and red/dark eyes - it's one of the most longstanding fantasy romance tropes in manhwa after all. Throw a stone and you'll hit a milord with a chest so wide you can fit a full dresser sideways between his shoulders and a face so stony Medusa is taking notes. And of course, his grace is going to have the reputation of Ultimate Warrior and Sovereign of His Land, Tamer of the Terrain, Reviver of the Barren Soil Now Made Fertile under His Leadership, because only such a powerful man with a heart of ice and terror would have the wherewithal to bend the unyielding north to his will. He isn't emperor/king simply because of circumstances (TM), character and/or choice.

To name just a few: Prince (...kinda? Sorta? Its a long story) Killian from Like Wind on a Dry Branch, Hades from I Married the Main Lead's Dad, Riftan from Under the Oak Tree, Kandel from I Thought My Time Was Up, Milian from Karina's Last Days; heck, even the other Killian from Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story is about to inherit a territory that isn't so great but which he will no doubt develop into a thriving land coz he's Capable that way. If you remove the hair and eye colour conditions, there are even more examples. 99% of them are said to strike fear into the hearts of men just by being mentioned in a room.

...ngl, putting my gigantic bias aside, Theo truly is among my top three scariest ML. Not even Killian (Rieta's) gives me pause the way Theo does, and I have immense respect and admiration for the way Like Wind on A Dry Branch is told (and translated). I know Killian is a powerful man; I feel Theo is threatening. (Brief aside here to acknowledge that Killian has game for days, while Theo is....... look, he's trying.)

Take this opinion with many grains of salt, but few MLs that I've seen so far (and admittedly my repertoire is probably very limited compared to others) has come close to the time Theo plain snapped during Celphi's bullying arc, and when he nearly decapitated a wholeass princess in front of the entire court because she killed his wife (again. And yes, justifiable but still, in front of the EMPEROR HIMSELF.)

Also, the man looked like THIS when the servant who poisoned her begged him to "go back to the princess":

I say this with all love: Theo is not a balanced individual.

We already know this is a world where medieval torture is par for the course, but so far it's been reserved for Gen, who tortured and experimented on a child, and this dude who's been an accessory to Dodolea's crimes since the beginning. Theo does not give a single fuck about trivial things like consequences when it comes to Celphi and Perry's wellbeing. The world will burn if it must, just so he can find out who hurt them.

I said before that Saoirse is a true Lapileon, and Theo was the softest hearted of the siblings. I still maintain it's true, but with the addendum that Theo isn't far off in ruthlessness. You just need to make the mistake of hurting his wife or his son.

Granted, the obsession is only a problem if he restricts Perry just because she's "His". And she's proven a few times that she will Do Shit She Wants regardless of the Lapileons, Princess Dodolea or even herself (god, the way she second guessed herself so hard, only to bust back into the room with those shackles and physically FIGHT MIA OFF in ch 92 - Phineas owes her impulsiveness his life literally). I don't think the story can logically progress that way unless Perry has some sort of personality transplant. And I trust seungu too much for that. The fear is in more what he'll do behind her back (please don't Theo, we've been through this, you know what happened the last time you did things without telling her first - and even if other things went well (like suppressing ugly false stories in publications) that doesn't guarantee you're doing the right thing by not keeping her informed, you walnut.

...yes I know she also has the same bad habit of Not Telling You Her Business but she's LEARNING. I think.)

...also, tbf, Theo doesn't need his obsession to make him a danger to his own love life. Romance or not, he's still Socially Awkward and Fucked Up so lord only knows how many awkward mistakes he's going to make trying to actively court his wife 🥲

Then again, it's not like she's any better considering her last serious relationship was so awful, she literally died and went back in time. I'm not surprised, and in fact quite glad, it took her this long to admit to her finer feelings. However, now this is slightly uncharted territory, and this woman bottles up her feelings and lies to herself just about as much as Theo does. (Why are you so bothered Mia spent so much time around him? Why are you so upset that you can't do more to help him? Why are you so worried whenever he's seemingly avoiding you? Why do you look away each time he gives you puppy dog eyes, Pereshati? HMMM? WHY INDEED)

And now they have to return to the capital with all these revelations, and be within reach of the imperial family again and I AM AFRAID FOR THEM, PRECIOUS, I TRULY AM.

On a completely different tangent: I am truly not a fan of the novel ending where Theo ends up being crowned emperor. So if this manhwa ends with the coronation of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Therdeo Lapileon and Her Imperial Majesty Empress Pereshati Jahardt, I will be heartbroken. Like, I would have the same reaction to it the way Game of Thrones fans reacted to Season 8. That's how bad I would take it. I hope to all things good seungu deviates from there as well. It feels like the romance is following the novel just a smidge more - a soupçon if you will - in this season, so I'm a little trepidatious about what other aspects might follow. I remain a big fan of how different the manhwa direction is, so... GO SEUNGU!! FOLLOW YOUR STAR!!

P/S: my train of thought while reading ch 90:

Seungu is just bringing all of Phineas' personal trauma in full technicolor when he flashes back to his younger self witnessing his parents fight while his older brother sustains a severe eye injury, oh my god. This poor boy - no wonder he wanted to run so badly.

Oh god, Gloria having to try and save her children from this insane man.

Okay, so this cements that it was Theo's grandfather who was tyrannical as fuck and abused everyone including his youngest grandson? not Theo's father who also looks like he was just Trying His Best? But Gen's dialogue mentions "abeoji" (father)? Did Phineas' older brother neglect his kids or grow up into another abuser??? oh GOD THIS FAMILY

PPS: I cannot WAIT to see how the English translators handle that panel in ch95 when he finally finds enough braincells to return her embrace (that's not just any hug, cmon - that's a full on, no holds barred, literary Embrace)

I'm fairly sure she said "It's/I'm cold", but I also got overexcited because I thought she said "I like you" (???) It's easy to overlap/overhear either phrase as each other coz they sound fairly similar if you say it quickly (same energy like saying "suki" in Japanese but you need context to know if they mean they like a person or something else entirely).

Either way, it was definitely NOT "saranghae", which let's face it, IS FAR TOO DEEP for where they are right now. These two doofuses have only just begun to find out what their feelings mean, tho Theo may be too quick a study , eomma help.

PPPS: Ep 87 comes out in English tomorrow morning (for us in GMT+8 anyway) AND I WILL HAVE WORDS ABOUT THAT CONVERSATION, VJFHDJSKSKSL I CANNOT WAIT

I mean if someone came up with a gantt chart/comparative timeline/line graph of when each duke finally kissed/tumbled into bed with their love interests to prove me wrong/right, that'd be fantastic but anyway

They have shared a bed for over 90 chapters and it is ONLY JUST NOW that there is prolonged bodily contact apart from holding (often gloved) hands.

Yeah here's part 2 of this

The way she talked about the death of Queen Charlotte's granddaughter; Princess Charlotte, who was historically only twenty-one when she died in childbirth. The Lady Whistledown commentary in QC is just outright cruel, it's clear Queen Charlotte in the off-season (QC present day timeline being set in the Winter/Early spring break between season 2 & 3) becomes Penelope's biggest target in the aftermath of her fallout with Eloise. There's no other way to describe it.

Ngl the above is really disturbing to me. She's angry at Eloise, has lost access to info from the Bridgertons because of her falling out with Eloise, and she's angry at the Queen for getting angry at Penelope's own words as LW, and trying to discover LW as a result. And so she spends the off-season insulting and attacking a grieving Queen Charlotte. I mean that's one way for a flower to bloom I guess...

Theo, one of the only working class characters in the show, nearly lost his job because of lady whistledown and may have lost it in the aftermath of the season.

A lot of her general commentary as Lady Whistledown isn't clever or witty; it's just outright cruel.

The way she talks about the Bridgerton family, a family that trusts and cares for her, is horrible. Particularly, the way she wrote about Daphne in season 1.

Betraying Eloise's trust for two entire seasons because it didn't start with the Theo situation. She listened to Eloise's frustrations about Daphne and then used LW to attack and belittle Daphne. Speaking as a sibling, I will rant about my sisters until kingdom come to my friends but the minute a so-called friend starts publicly attacking my sister, it's over. I would not be in control of my actions. Like over the course of two seasons, she's attacked and nearly destroyed the reputations of Eloise's eldest sister, two of her brothers, her first love, and the entire family as a result. Judging by the Bridgertons were born to shine line in the trailer, I doubt Francesca will make it through the season unscathed.

She hasn't felt real remorse. Despite nearly causing Marina's death (as she tried to miscarry in the aftermath of LW revealing her pregnancy), she ends season 1 smirking about being LW. Hasn't written or contacted Marina to see how she has been since, got jealous Colin went to see her and still probably hasn't written or visited her. Not to mention her "I least did something. All you did is talk" speech at the end of season 2 to Eloise. A speech that wasn't even accurate as Eloise had been to meetings, listened to speeches and debates, debated with Theo, shared and read and discussed different political leaflets with Theo, Eloise had grown intellectually from the beginning to the end of the season. It's because of Penelope that that came to an end.

Outside of rescuing Daphne from her betrothel to Berbrooke in s1, what good has her work as LW actually done? It's ruined far more lives than it's helped, and intervened countless times when it didn't have authority to. Many secrets weren't Penelope's to tell.

I could honestly keep going but I genuinely don't know how she's supposed to get redeemed in eight episodes because the character we have at the minute in no way deserves a happy ending. LW didn't really matter in the books as it wasn't as active a plot point as it is in the show. By expanding the LW concept to give Penelope a more complex arc, they've unwittingly robbed her of what made people like her book counterpart and as a result created a villain that they have no intention of trying to redeem, because they don't believe she needs to be redeemed.

Ok, let's talk about the last 3 episodes of TROP:

Uh...wtf did I just watch.

Well...what'd'y'know...turns out we had a fourth Silmaril? Was anybody going to tell the sons of Fëanor? Was anybody going tell FËANOR himself?!

And, you know, if Mithril contained the light of a Silmaril, which is enough to work as a star, anybody would know that Frodo was wearing a Mithril chainmail. And it would be really shit as armor or weapon 'cause it would immediately give away your place and draw eyes to you.

And since when do the elves need the light of the two trees to survive? How about the Avari? With that logic, they should have been dead by now. Why are we calling them immortal if they're going to die next Saturday? Everyone in ME is more immortal than them.

And does time mean nothing in this show? When they talked about compressing the timeline I didn't think they'd do it in every scene!

do people teleport in this show? How did the Numenoreans charge to Bronwyn's village JUST at the right moment? How did they know they should go there? How did the NUMENOREANS get to Bronwyn's village only one day after the orcs? How does it take more time for Arondir, a trained elven warrior to fight one orc (& he doesn't even defeat him) than a village of untrained peasants to defeat an army of orcs?

And...a watch tower fell just by an arrow?! Really?! This whole tower was kept together by only a rope? Who made that and why? And how's it been standing for so long? Even if it's only 1 day? Is that time compressed, too? And A lever broke a dam and that somehow activated a volcano?! And why couldn't the orcs break the dam with the grandfather of Grond? Why did they have to give so many orc casualties to take that sword back? Why did the villagers corner themselves in their village instead of fighting from the fucking tower and having the high ground? Is it because it was held together by a rope? What is this stupidity?

And it speaks volumes about the writing of this show that we both knew that there is no way that anybody could survive that eruption especially Galadriel should have been baked in her armor and that all the main characters would survive.

I mean...Bronwyn not only survives that wound but she also walks out just fine the next day and she's not even pale. Halbrand, mortaly wounded RODE to Eregion! What makes you think a volcanic eruption will kill them? Eru can't kill them.

THEY LEFT WHETHER ISILDUR WILL SURVIVE OR NOT AS A CLIFFHANGER!!!

And Adar is the only interesting character. I'm kinda rooting for him ngl.

And did Elendil even search for him before announcing him dead and crying?

Also, one would think that in a dangerous situation like this, the commander would rush in to protect the queen. And the other soldiers would protect the commander and the Queen. Except, in this case, the commander walked into volcanic ashes and started one of her famous staring contests with it.

Also, a little thing. But, how did Galadriel find Elrond when he was first orphaned alone, without friends or kin? I guess the first time Elrond was orphaned was after Elwing jumped into the sea. Well, at that time Elrond had both kin and friend. He had his twin brother Elros and then was found by Maglor & Maedhros who were both kin and later turned out to be friends. (And they are in and outside a cave). Why would Galadriel find Elrond alone without his twin and why would she hand them into the Fëanorians?

Now listen, having callbacks to certain LOTR scenes wouldn't have been so bad if they weren't blatant rip-off and a much, much lesser version and the scenes have been earned.

Like Arondir and Bronwyn promising each other that they'd grow a garden like Faramir and Eowyn did, doesn't have the same impact 'cause unlike Faramir and Eowyn, we haven't spent enough time with these characters and from what we've seen of them, both of them look bland. And we haven't seen their relationship develop. Also, the dialogue is not that good. And Galadriel and Theo hiding beneath a tree while the orcs start for them?...no. just no. And Theo saying that the sword can't be unmade by any crafts that they there possessed also doesn't work 'cause the threat of it is not explained. And giving the scene of Beren and Luthien's first meeting to Galadriel and Celeborn doesn't work cuz it's very OOC for Galadriel. And it was a special scene for Tolkien.

& now off to the big reveal I guess.

Listen...the 2nd age is not told in details like the first and third age are. there were few plotpoints that they had to meet and they WERE few! Like the Numenoreans being jealous of the Eldar's immprtality. and the writers are probably congratulating themselves because we all knew that Annatar was Sauron and it wouldn't have been a shocking reveal for us. Well, guess what! It would have been for the people who haven't read the books and the people who had would have enjoyed the tension of well-written scenes between Celebrimbor and Annatar knowing who he was. And when Galadriel and Gil-Galad and Elrond warned Celebrimbor we would have sympathize with them and mourned and remorsed with them when it got too late. It's like if in HP movies the director said:"you know what, every book reader knows that Alastor Moody is Barty CrouchJr. Let's introduce a hot guy who will have a romantic relationship with Professor McGonagall who will turn out to be Barty Crouch.Jr.

They keep thinking they can write better than Tolkien, the father of modern fantasy, and they can't.

And remember when it was explicitly told that Galadriel knew Annatar was fishy from the get-go and NEVER trusted him? Because not only she was extremely intelligent and wise but also she had the gift of seeing into the minds of others and for that, Sauron was AFRAID of her? And returned her scorns with apparent curtsey? And he thought that he had found his match (as in, an enemy to be weary of) in Galadriel? And how becoming a powerful queen, stronger than the foundations of the earth was Galadriel's own ambition?

Who in all these years of reading tolkien have had thought of writing a Galadriel/Sauron fanfiction!

I'll tell you who. Mormons!

I can't help but think that how every male elf except Gil-Galad, even the extras have short hair has something to do with the showrunners being Mormons.

So does how Sauron can't be a hot twink elf with long luscious locks getting close to young Celebrimbor and seducing him over a long time until eventually Celebrimbor gets betrayed. because it may give gay vibes.

I think that elf servant being all veiled women who don't speak also has something to do with the showrunners being Mormons.

So does that Galadriel was bereft of all her tradirionally feminine traits, wise and mature personality, the reverence everyone had for her, and her ambition and desire to rule and her goal in life was given to her by her brother (keeping the oath he never had in the books) and her iconic lines in the show are told to her by Sauron and she wasn't the one with the desire to rule and she wasn't the one who knew her worth, and her husband had to be presumed dead and in the showrunners eyes, she couldn't be a mother AND a powerful woman and had to be deceived by Sauron and have romantic tension with her instead of Sauron being scared of her.

Good for you if you liked the show. Don't let random strangers on the internet ruin your enjoyment of tv shows.

But for my part, sometimes Fëanor spontanously combusting from inside sounds fantastical until I see the shits that TROP pulls and the blatant lies and or the narcissistic bullshits that the showrunners say.

vol vi thoughts bc fusebox keeps bringing me back

although we're in casa so ya know.... story is bound to get bad soon after casa

first of all, Hari. im so disappointed with his sprite because I'd so go for him for looks alone otherwise (his hair is nice and hes indian and hes got the rohan sort of physique albeit more muscle-y). but somethings up with his face and his eyes are a little red and his torso is doing the thing Vicki does, so he just feels like a leftover from S7 (and what a shame bc Tyler is drawn so well but barely gets time to impress us in the villa!)

OK anyway personality wise though hes giving nothing. Bombshells gotta cause more chaos and I think he'd be a fine and dandy OG in the real show but he's just kinda here. I mean idk maybe I tapped through his dialogue too quickly but in my head rn he's similar level to Elliot. Elliot I can at least make gamer jokes about and the girls had more to say about him than just: he's hot, and MC should go for him. that being said what I'm about to reveal i did in a few bullet points will not make sense.

The note was obviously gonna be from Jin (your LI), so them dragging it out was a little annoying. And I have personal opinion on what types of things should be gem choices and part of that is having a good enough excuse not to go through with it and I think not reading the note for no reason is not good enough. Anyway I did choose to read the note and it's sweet and references Jin's whole "funny guy but now I'm serious about you" shtick and I just wish they write that a little differently but it's still cute.

Then we get Bea's messages and it's odd bc I can't think of a reason or another season on the show that they dragged out the bombshells arrival like this. Like first of all, they might as well have given a message to Theo as well instead of just Oakley and Hari. But even more than that, why put the messages at all? just to have a cliffhanger at the end of the episode? I think just straight up during the sports day challenge, have someone read a text that a new couple is joining, and then bam it's Jin and Bea. maybe one text from her but the multiple was bugging me.

I also don't know why I got it in my head that Bea was gonna flirt with Theo/Claudia depending on who you flirted with, plus also your current LI but like that would've been a nice addition since I think Theo and Claudia should be done for but they don't make it clear???

Oakley messing with Emel about the drink was funny ngl, but I do miss the routes not merging because it just doesn't make sense to me having Oakley do that. Jack or Jin, maybe, but Oakley is the silent, serious type. Like in my head, he's more like Noah.

There is very briefly a few friendship moments between MC and Theo this volume and in my head they are besties and I wish that was canon/more explicit because I'm not going after him anyway. That way you get the friends who get closer and become lovers storyline from either Theo or Claudia and the other you still get to be friends with.

I'm surprised Claudia and Theo aren't just fully broken up because Claudia is asking for advice and I'm like, did yall not already get that sorted?? it's been so long. One of them should just go for the bombshells.

A chat with Claudia! finally! (albeit a gem scene) I thought we'd get to know more about her but it's mostly just a game of word association which is odd. I will say admitting that MC associates love with Jin made me laugh bc I'm cruel

The girls then say that MC needs to graft on Hari because they're both single and I get the support, but also MC is still getting over Jin lol.

Remember how I said the way I'm gonna play this doesn't make sense? Okay so I decided I needed to create my own mess, just to see if fusebox is gonna let my MC have consequences for her actions. So this is for science, in a way... Okay. So I may have let my MC flirt with Hari. And then maybe she got a sexy massage from him. And then maybe they kissed. What can I say? She's out of her mind without Jin. 🤣

okay no but seriously, in my head she does start to revert to her old ways, her old type, but she knows Hari isn't right for her. She misses Jin but she's not used to having a connection so fast with someone. And when he's gone she misses him but over the course of the day after putting on her brave face, she's convinced herself she's overthinking it. the letter was sweet but it scared her a little. she knows he was gonna ask her to be exclusive and she freaked a little. she just needs a little distraction....

I enjoy sports day but in my head it's usually a late in the show game. Like around in S2 when they have the bird thing happening or the S4 musical (OK maybe not that late, like probably pre baby challenge, but it's generally a challenge with very little drama is my point). still it was fun to have here.

and then of course return of the king, Jin comes back. and with the way I've been doing shit, yes, MC did kiss Hari when Jin entered and ohhhh he was upset.

Bea is cute but playful and still competitive and okay she goes for your couple, but also I get like Chelsea vibes from her (no canon reason why, I just think it's the hair) so love her.

Double date is so fun when your other partner is nearby, like it's almost enough to forget they did the same thing in season 5 because it's so much better this time around.

for fun and for angst I just imagine in the show, mid date they cut to a beach hut scene where MC is like "yeah I had a fun time with Hari but he when he was talking about all the things he wants in a life partner, I kept thinking about how I want that with Jin." 🥺

So I'm not a big fan of how they introduced the bombshells and LI return but it's not bad. I just think we could've gotten more time with Jin, Hari, and Bea. It's unclear but I think it's implied Jin, Hari, Bea, and MC are all single and I hope that's true because that way there will be little consequence (as in no sudden dumping) if you or another one of those characters brings someone from casa. because you're not in a couple anyway. (I mean I always hope there's no Dumping immediately after casa bc the arguments are more fun but this is how they've been doing it recently and i think part of that is bc of how they force the routes to merge)

it's also nice we don't get immediately stolen from our partner a la Tom/Cora entrance (or Elliot/Chloe) but it's sort of implied with how the sports day couples went? like I wish there was just a little more time before Casa so it's clear they're all single

or fuck it, give us a recoupling and post casa don't dump the other LI right away if you switch. Like you should be able to make up with your LI or not and it's boys choice and if they wanna keep the slow burn Theo picks last I guess and gets Bea just to also fix the Theo and Claudia together but not storyline. Maybe between your original LI and Hari, one of them picks Claudia (or give us another mlm couple if you're on a Claudia route and let him couple with Theo lmao)

This is craaaazy. I mean I know that all characters are made up but this is a purely fanon character like what 😭

It’s so funny because some random girl on WATTPAD made him up several years ago and to this day people are still writing x readers and whatnot for him 💀 and there are a decent amount out there. Back when I was reading them a couple months ago there was never a shortage of stories to pick from for him. Enzo berkshire is also fake but idk what his origins are. He’s supposed to be Draco’s cousin and his fancast is Louis Partridge. I remember when word got out that he and Olivia Rodrigo were dating, someone was like “do you think she’s seen the slytherin boys reacts TIKTOKS?” Which is a whole nother form of lore. And then Theodore nott is canon but he was only briefly mentioned in the books… and once again, the slytherin boys fandom has made ample content for him 💀 his fancast is the Italian actor Lorenzo zurzolo, who was gatekept until pretty recently but now I think he’s becoming what you could call a “heartthrob” in Western media. And if I remember right, his character in the books isn’t canonically Italian but they always have him spewing some romantic Italian lines in the fanfics written about him just because his fancast is Italian 😭

Yes I've featured Theo in several of my own fics but I can't remember who the fancast was for him at the time. I have seen the Lorenzo as Theo edits and of course timothee is now the face of regulus. In addition, I've seen Louis featured but I had no idea his character was made up by the fandom too 😭 ngl the HP fandom scares me now because between the shifting and the react videos and fake characters it's just...a lot

Part 2, here we actually get into what's been going on since the story ended. Ngl I didn't expect there to even be 2 parts to this but here we are and this is long too 😂.

Ynwon are married!!. We ended on Jungwon going to the altar and YN ready to marry her guy.

Bahiyyih made YNs dress and the dresses of the bridesmaids + all of YN and Jungwons family.

Theo, didn't really give ynwon a choice when it came to officiating the wedding.

There was a fight over who will be the one to give YN away. Sirius, Harry and Ron almost got into a physical fight over it.

YN asked Lucius Malfoy to be the one to give her away. She may love the Weasleys, Sirius and the Potters.

But the Malfoys were the first ones to help her when everything went wrong so her bond with them is special.

Ynwon go for a nice long honeymoon, like a month long honeymoon. Why? cause they could 😂.

Sirius gifted the couple a little cottage in Hogsmeade. Which they're friends were supposed to furnish, get all their stuff there while ynwon were on they're honeymoon.

Soul not wanting to let YN go, still hasn't managed to get all of her things moved into the new cottage.

So for another month, YN is still going to her old apartment to get clothes and random things that she's still got there.

Jungwon getting tired of this, talks to Soul and they get all of YNs things moved in.

One day, Ron comes to tell YN that her dad died in Azkaban.

At this point it's been 5 years since her family were jailed and YN never went to meet them, despite them writing her letters and asking her to meet them.

Unsurprisingly this sends YN into a spiral, wondering if she should've gone to meet her family, relief that her father that terrorised her childhood is gone. Wondering if she's a bad person for being relieved that her father's dead.

This spiral sends YN into bad coping mechanisms. She starts isolating herself from everyone, pushing everyone away.

Jungwon notices immediately that something is wrong but thinks YN wil come to him and waits for him.

Which doesn't happen since 2 days later, Jungwon comes home to YN sobbing over a photograph of her whole family that she didn't know she had.

YN reveals everything to Jungwon, who talks her into going back to therapy.

Being in therapy helps, when time comes for her dad's funeral. YN goes with her best friends.

Jungwons friends wonder why he didn't go with her but it's YN who asked him not to come along.

YN feels this is something she has to face herself, her best friends come because they know how her dad was, they're own families were similar to him.

For all of them, the funeral of Moon Haesung is burying they're own pasts and traumas.

He's a physical representation that they can move on, they're parents and families do not have a hold over them. All of them are working thru the trauma they've got because of them.

After the funeral, Jungwon is there for YN when she gets home, reminding her that her past doesn't define her. Her family doesn't define her.

Reminding her that he loves her, regardless of everything she's been thru and that she's strong and it's okay to breakdown with him because he'll always be there.

So that got heavy. Back into happier things. Jungwon has achieved his dream, he's a junior lawyer at H&R.

YN, got her masters and is working on getting her teaching qualification, so she's a trainee professor at the moment.

Only teaching 1st, 2nd and third years, majority are in love with her 😂. Which makes the older students jealous, so they all come to her for advice 😂😂.

Jay is now an auror trainer. He suffered an injury and even with magic, going back into the force wasn't worth it.

Working in the ministry, Jays become very close to Chaehyun. Literally no one is surprised when they announce theyre dating.

Sunghoon, after reaching peak stardom and using magic to avoid paparazzi, falls in love with another top star. Very much a off screen and on screen romance.

Bahiyyih is a successful seamstress, she's taken over Madame Malkin's and is planning on opening another store in Paris.

Gaeul & Wonyoungs business is so big that the girls need help on making it still be the best but not skimping on quality. Theo is their saving grace, he helps them and that is a trio no one expected 😂.

Heeseung gave up on being a CEO to be a full time event planner and he's the best in the business. He offers his services to both magicals and muggles so it really is a booming business.

Troublemakers Inc, they're still in business and thought they've had it tough, they are doing okay rn.

Healer Jake is out here saving ppl and living his best life, he went thru a rigourous training period and now he's everyone's go to healer 😂.

The Choi's, have all got one degree by this point. Yeonjun uses his chemistry degree to tutor students in the subject and is making bank.

Jungwons pretty sure he's using Magic to help his students but he can't prove it and it's not hurting anyone so he's letting it go.

The ravenclaw in Soobin really came out, he's back in uni getting another degree.

Chaos agent Beomgyu, went from uni student to Quidditch player. Remember Keeho being salty he wasn't made England captain...

Guess who did make captain.... Beomgyu is an unhinged captain but he gets results, England wins the Quidditch World Cup after 85 years.

Since getting married, ynwon are invited everywhere. Sirius with the Lupins expects them for dinner on Mondays.

Tuesdays, is for various Weasleys. Ynwon are meeting either a Weasley or a Weasley spouse for lunch or dinner.

Wednesday's is for their friends, they alternate whose friend group they have dinner with.

Thursday is date night. Either with Jay & Chaehyun or Sunghoon & his gf. If it's not double or group dates then it's ynwon being a cute ass couple.

All the restaurants and shops in Hogsmeade know that ynwon will be out and abt on Thursday. It's an unspoken rule that if ynwon come to ur business on a Thursday, they get a discount.

Lastly Friday is dinner with the Potters. Which is gatecrashed by practically everyone 😂.

Despite busy schedules, weekends are times for ynwon to do things together. They get whatever work they have done in their joint office on the weekend.

Also Heeseungs events tend to be on the weekend, so that keeps their weekends busy as well.

Teddy and his crush on YN while gone completely, he's 14 now. Obviously he's moved on.

But Teddy is still the head of the Professor YN is the best club. He's the first to figure out which 1st, 2nd or 3rd years have gotten a crush on YN.

He takes a weird amount of joy from ruining these kids lives by telling them that YNs happily married.

Teddy is always talking to Jungwon abt the various boys that have a crush on YN and the funny things they do to get her attention and how oblivious YN is to all of that.
