I'm so normal about the new KH3 manga panels

WE GOT SO MUCH FOOD

First we got Ven vs Vanitas

Ven looks so cute and I can't wait for the keyblade graveyard of the Vanitas fight

Then we have ZEMYX

Zexion and DEMYX

I love this scene so much and I think I like it better

From the panels I seen so far it seems Demyx arrives and Zexion is surprised but nervous because he's with the organization still so Zexion goes and calls security on his bf

He seems nervous and looks for something and then he presses and button

Then the other two Xaldin and Lexaeus come in and tries to take him out. He seems to be in the organization so they want to apprehend him.

While this is happening Demyx is like No it's not like that. And they tell him to be quiet.

I also used a Google scan but those aren't always 100% accurate but it seems like that happened.

That's all I've seen from that scene and honestly I like it way better. I like how they come in because of Demyx instead of wondering what's the commotion and it's Ansem the Wise. Though both of their voice actors (JPN) both recently died so they made them silent in the games out of respect and that could have contributed to it.

Then there is AkuSai ice cream date

The scene is seemingly the same, they have this serious tension going on. They discussed what happened and Lea is like I'll bring Roxas, and X, and then I'll take you back too.

Also it seems that Lea got a winner stick and he looks so cute— everyone looks so cute in the manga I can't 😭

Then there is the famous papou scene that everyone likes to misinterpret but I'm bias as well.

Frankly I don't care about the scene as in I have no issue like it's fine. I think it's nice that they're doing a reference to the first game but what I don't like is when people remove the good luck charm aspect out of it. Because that's what it is and why he accepted it. Sora looked way too awkward in the game. Right before the scene he's worried about Riku. But that's my take.

Anyways in the manga Riku is just watching them But that's all I found on the scene

Riku, even Sora and Kairi all look so cute

That's basically all I have found so far but I hope there is more that I haven't seen.

Like if there was the Repliku and Riku talk in this one, I don't know. But I hope since that scene happens right around the papou scene.

Opinion on Kingdom Hearts? (Aside from the whole lore being all confusing aha 😅)

Oh, I love Kingdom Hearts!!!

It has definitely contributed to my interest in Disney.

I have a lot of great memories playing the games with my siblings back in the day. We used to play Kingdom Hearts 1, Kingdom Hearts 2, Chain of Memories, and 358/2 Days a lot. I also had the manga for Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 and I listen to the soundtrack every once in a while on YouTube. It is probably one of my favorite video games soundtracks.

I will say though that I am not completely filled in when it comes to all of the lore and story. A lot of what I know is from osmosis of those who have actually played all the games and make fanart or fan comics for them. I actually haven’t finished any of the games myself (though that is mostly due to me being bad at games and usually just watched my siblings play) and outside of part of Kingdom Hearts 3 and a little bit of the mobile game, I haven’t played much of the newer games. But I think I have a general idea of what happens or is happening.

I would like to someday sit down and play the games in order (at least the best I can)

Also if you care about my favorite ships it has to be Akusai or Xehaqus

Akusai always kills me since I saw this one tumblr post on Pinterest years ago about sun-and-moon coding. It said something along the lines of of the sun being destructive towards itself (well known though, the sun will eventually burn out, similar to axels recklessness) BUT it also mentioned the moon being first in line with the fire once it starts to burn (saix being responsible and climbing the ladder) WHILE ALSO NEEDING THE SUN TO BE ABLE TO SHINE. (cleaning up axel’s messes caused by his recklessness)

That bitch is a slut (affectionate) and definitely has banged all adult guys in the Org. *a while of thinking* Except for Axel. No idea, why, but this one doesn't click. (Disclaimer: While I'm okay with Marluxia/Zexion, I see them strictly non-sexual. Also no idea, why).

An unpopular opinion: Hoooooooo boiiiiiiii, where to start... I'm not very fond of this whole recompletion process, how it works and, in general, how it's handled. It just rubs me wrong... The reasons are very personal, though, so maybe I won't elaborate. ^^"

My canon OTP: Soriku. 💜 (don't at me, they're canon, SE are just cowards and afraid of losing Mickey Mouse priviledges!)

Most badass character: Marluxia

Pairing I am not a fan of: Marluxia/Larxene. In general, I don't like, when they're paired with people of opposite gender... But this combination is especially nope to me.

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Given all fucked up shit happening in canon, I'd say almost everyone. But if I were to choose one... Repliku. He deserved a happy ending and didn't get any. T^T

i got a sticker book, finally, to put my stickers in. now i need to find a way to store and/or display all the keychains/pins/mini prints i've accumulated over the years. i have a large portfolio for my bigger prints that i can flip through, maybe i should get a smaller portfolio too. because i can't possibly display all of these at once. they've been in a folder in my desk this entire time lol

also debating if i should make itabag inserts, i think i have enough for an ace attorney-themed one (would end up mostly being dgs/asoryuu) and maybe a kingdom hearts themed one (would end up mostly being akusai). or maybe i should get a second, smaller itabag, with a smaller window? i wanted to make a twst itabag insert too, but i don't have that much twst merch... or i could get like, a plastic organizer or something to keep in a drawer. all of my buttons/keychains without a home have just been loose in my desk drawer. hmmm

i don't buy zines that much anymore but i think i'd like a dedicated place to store my zines too. they've been in a drawer but i'd like them to be on a shelf. that'll have to wait until i can get a new shelf though.

Ok ok just a small rant

XEHAQUS???? I just... GAH I love them so so much.

When I first got into kh I wrote a 183 page Xehaqus fic that I never finished but they were my life for so long. And this was before Dark Road finished! I love them even more after dark road because oh my gosh they're so cute in that game. The graveyard scene???? It's a crime they didn't kiss. I wish they had better communication skills after what happens in dark road because it's a shame they became so distant. Like they went through so much together and the fact they didn't work through it together and instead went wildly different directions that lead them to hating each other hurts my soul.

I don't think Eraqus ever got over him though, and as much as Xehanort probably wanted to he probably never could.

Have any of you heard butterflies by leo? You should listen to it, I'll die on the hill that that is a Xehaqus song. Other than the first verse which doesn't fit with them too much I think it really is just so perfect for them.

Ok ok sorry but now this post is just me ranting about this song and these lyrics bcs I've thought about this for months. "The sky sure looks pretty, but you're my favorite view" I'd like to think that this would be Xehanort saying this, he does become obsesed with Kingdom Hearts after all, which is a moon in the sky. Although I do interpret most of the lyrics from Eraqus's POV, there are many I see from both or Xehanort's as well. "I’ll welcome the storm soon, but just for tonight I’ll pretend that it’s still our room , I’ll pretend that you’re still mine" a very Eraqus line personally. The storm could represent the events after dark road, and how Eraqus just wants to go back to the way things were before it all. "When will it feel okay to know that you wouldn’t have stayed before mine flew away" to me sounds like either of them could say it. After Dark Road they went on very very different paths, Eraqus going on the path to stay loyal to light while Xehanort walked a dark road (wow I'm funny) and became the person he ended up becoming. "I feel them, please kill them. I’ll heal someday" lets face it, they both still had feelings and died with said feelings. They never got over each other I'll die on this hill. They will never heal. "I cried in the shower ‘cause you’re not around. Quite funny how I’m still the hot mess that you found. I know that they’re gone, dear, but picture my eyes and tell me what happened to your butterflies." This is an Eraqus line to me, I've always pictured their fight in dark road as the final lyric. Just Eraqus wondering how Xehanort changed and how he wonders what happened to his feelings, his butterflies. The first part of it definitely could have been how Eraqus felt in the days following it.

WOW ok rant over, that was in fact not a "small rant". I love Xehaqus, they're my kh OTP (although I do love Akusai and Soriku, these 2 will be on top forever). I made a playlist for them and have written a decent amount for them, they just make me happy. I'm sorry to the people who went into this thinking it wouldn't be me ranting about a silly song I like and also one of my favorite ships.

What’re your favorite kh ships?

If I'm being honest... I really only true ship SoKai these days (my forever OTP). Mainly because I feel like that's the only one I can really ever see actually being canon (well, aside from Yozora and Nameless Star, and I also ship them: a lot of that for Versus XIII reasons. My heart won't let go). And, I mean, not that a ship needs to be canon for me to ship them. Not at all. But I'll admit that I've grown out of some of the KH ships a wee bit, as I've found more adult ones in other fandoms to get invested one.

That being said, the KH ships that I do still care about are:

Namiku

RokuNami

Terqua (though it seem these days the kids call it Terrqua. Or Terraqua?)

I'm warming up to Replinami some these days, because of the tragedy of it all.

I've also started to warm up to Rion a wee bit... that past Shanna thought she'd never see.

SoNami in CoM only.

I could do XionRoxasNaminé. NamiXI, too.

VenAqua slightly, but I'd always choose Terra and Aqua over it (but one thing about the Wayfinder Trio for me, if I'm being truthful, is that I prefer the three of them as friends before any romance with any of them. Part of me even really thinks all three of them are truly just meant to be friends.)

A lot of people ship Ven and Strelitzia for some reason. And I doubt it'll ever happen, tbh. Who knows if they'll ever even really get a chance to meet and be friends. But I do get why they think it'd be cute.

And while I don't know if I truly ship them anymore, a part of me will always have a soft spot for Ventus and Naminé. Because for some reason, I really used to ship this crack pairing, back in the day.

I also don't really know if I ship them... but despite what I said above, I do get the feeling that Nomura might be doing something with Lauriam/Marluxia and Elrena/Larxene.

#i used to LOVE vanaqua and vannami. and some of my heart probably always will for that reason (mainly the former). but for the most part i #think i'm over it #i also used to ship ephemer and ava a tiny bit. but i'd pick gulava any day #i also used to get into olette pairings. but tbh. i just can't really be bothered anymore #i also used to somewhat ship ira and invi because of that comment in back cover about them having to see each other less now so the others #wouldn't get the wrong idea (because taken out of context it sounds like they're dating). or aced and invi because they reminded me (and #everyone) of terra and aqua. but i was never really serious about those to begin with and have let them go. -shrugs-#really. at the end of the day. it's sokai. forever and always: sokai #asked and answered #and really the main ones for me are sokai rokushi namiku rokunami and terqua #but mostly sokai -i say. sounding like a broken record-#and while we're mentioning everything (because somehow that's what this post turned into) i used to be big on larxel (like khii days)#but not for many--MANY--years #wait. i do like gulava a lot too. and rikai. because riku and kairi--in whatever form they're in--don't get enough love #there's also a tiny bit of me that ot3s eraqusxehanortvor. xehaqus is the otp and they're perfect together: i know and agree with this #and yet they have an interesting dynamic with vor. i feel like before dark road started they were the SLIGHTEST bit of a trio. not truly #because xehanort and eraqus still spent way more time together but it was there a little bit #and it's interesting to me that eraqus. of all people. gets annoyed at vor snooping on them some at the beginning of dark road #before the game came out if you told me something like that would have happened i would have guessed it was xehanort. but nah. it's eraqus #and xehanort moreso telling him to chill and letting vor tag along (and the eraqus thing wasn't really serious. and more in good fun #because he DOES care about her). and then they're both DEVASTATED when she dies. and vor really cared about them #also a slight ot3 with xehanorteraqusurd because despite what i just said about vor it's URD they spend the most time with in dark road and #i like their dynamic with her too. -shrugs-#vanikai a smidge back in the day

Mikhail is the brown haired fellow with the bun. He is a Romani doctor/healer. Very serious, but very kind. He recently lost his left arm up to his armpit and left leg up to the top of his thigh, both of which were sacrificed in a necromancy spell cast by Mikhail to save the life of one of his patients. As a result, he now does whatever work he can with only his right limbs while in a wood and iron wheelchair. Akusai is the lavender haired fellow with the Eastern design. He runs a kabuki theatre and teahouse, abd wears beautiful and colorful kimonos. Lovesvto gossip, very flamboyant and a real showman. Takes great care of his husband.

One yes im still doing thiss ill be doing requests as long as hermie is staying in the bracket.

If She Doesn't Scare You, No Evil Thing Will - Not actually Akusai, but I don't have a better spot for it and it's kindastorta set in the same verse. It stands alone though. Did you ever wonder just how the 99 Dalmatian puppies ended up in boxes, scattered around the worlds? Well, it's all thanks to Traverse Town's favorite security guys-slash-enforcers, the Turks. They've got a job to do, but they might just be in over their heads. Also contains Cruella de Vil in a rocket ship. Crack fic based on my dumbest headcanon.

Updating KH ship lists

Again I don't care if those disagree or like another better as long as no one calling each other delusional

Anyways here are my 11 KH ships + a few honorable mentions

#1 Soriku

This is probably my favorite ever, there's so much to say I don't even know where to start. I shipped them as friends but who also should date. Besides they're just really cute and silly to me.

The dark realm scene in kh2 is so good, they have an understanding of the other and are happy to be there together with the other person.

They both just love each other and do everything for the other (Riku's sacrifices for Sora in days kh2 kh3 and trying to save him in ddd) Sora is always trying to find him because he wants to be with him; and he just misses him. Riku's jealousy and feelings showed his insecurities to bring the island to darkness when he feared Sora's and Kairi's relationship and leaving him/ Sora befriending others with the belief he was being left behind.

The novel also has some added cute scenes where Sora is just bashful around Riku or just happy to be with him. They hug and hold hands more. Also there's a scene in the kh2 manga where Riku gives Shang a papou fruit to give to Sora. And Sora instantly know who gave it to him because "only Riku would do something like that".

The papou scene in kh1 manga Riku gets so close to his face and then Sora is blushing later, thinking about it. In DDD, it's about Riku's feelings for Sora and the darkness right? Some of those things are seemingly parallels.

Finally in kh3 Riku scarifies life for him because he doesn't want him to be sad and with the parallel to Hercules sacrificing someone because all he knew was that he loved someone and didn't think. Sora is just always thinking about Riku and wants to be with him especially with the failing to be a keyblade master.

Also there are no orders to these

#2 RepliNami

Honestly this is the only Riku that I like with her at all and also people end up confusing which Riku did what— they're different people, Sora said so himself. Repliku still has his feelings for Sora but now he decides to keep a promise for Naminé even if it didn't happen because he wants to do something himself.

Not something with memories that belong to Riku. And Naminé also does care for him. There's mainly KH CoM and Kh3 to go by. In COM he fights for Naminé against Sora thinking it was him (though all these things end up fake) but still he choses to embrace these memories for the sake of Naminé.

In kh3 he admits that everyone moved on except for him who was in darkness. When Riku notices his presences they work together and Repliku admits that he has one more thing to do and wants to save Naminé.

Then in his death he finally leaves the world and gives up the chance to have a body all for the sake of her having one so he asks the original Riku to dl him one last favor and making sure she's okay.

#3 Rizoriku / Yozoriku

Rizoriku because lack of RIZZ and it sounds so silly

I recently got into this and yeah I'm probably like one of the few people who are even into this.

They haven't EVEN INTERACTED. Riku felt Yozora in his dream/ secret ending but they never really seen each other. Yozora probably had in the secret ending/ dream. He was looking at him at that matters.

But imagine the possibilities, they are both tied together by Sora. Riku is searching for him and Yozora potentially hurt him, he hates that. They cannot stand the other. They fight the other so much. They're both looking for "Sora" to save. They look similar and Yozora has been stealing other's forms (It's toxic but eventually turn cute.)

Now they have to work together to find Sora / Nameless Star and then they start being cute and caring. I thought there might be at least more of this but no it's so rare I only seen like 4 fanart pictures of this and it's all from the same person

I got so happy when I saw some

#4 AkuSai / LeaIsa

It's so toxic. They've broken up too many times to count. They're divorced. And there's a whole ton of tension. It also have parallels to soriku.

Lea and Isa worked together to save X but she was gone and decided to become apprentices to save her. Then Saïx had to work his way to the top to find out what happened while Axel went off making friends and spent less time with Saïx which caused jealousy.

Their arguments and tension is so thick in 358/2 days, and in kh3 during that clocktower scene. You can tell there is something there. Also during DDD when he faced Saïx when saving Sora.

Then they finally have an understanding and Saïx apologies and admits he was jealous. Lea holds him in his arms, then after Saïx gets recompleted I think they finally will calm down and get back together, let's see how long it lasts.

#5 Kailette

I'm not super into this one because lack of content but I feel like this has potential to be super interesting and fun. Olette being one of the first real people she meets outside of the world and besides from Sora and Riku who kept unintentionally leaving her behind.

They befriend each other and Olette likes listening to the stories Kairi tells her.

I think they're really cute and have potential to go places or even Kairi becoming part of the sea salt + twilight town gangs. I see more fun fan content for this that makes me love it and hopefully we'll see more in the future.

#6 Zemyx

They're so silly together. I honestly love this. I ended up loving this because of fan content. It was just so great to me.

Like Demyx is kinda silly and dumb and Zexion is smart and intelligent they can't help be attracted to the other.

That one manga panel of them played twister though.

Also when they finally meet in kh3 and he realizes is that you? Also props to the manga version of the scene where he calls security on his bf until he realizes he's on their side.

#7 Xehaqus

They're actually so cute. I'm not joking. The fanart is so good and honestly dark road just shows their relationship and how it fell apart.

Eraqus is so silly and just enjoys his time with Xehanort but also believes to do what is right for fear of everyone losing to the darkness (which is why he did what he did in BBS).

I love that they often worked together and whispered just between themselves that the others would often say what are you whispering about?

They're post kh2 Soriku in dark road and then it turns into kh1 Soriku. Eraqus was blinded by love and didn't want to separate from him which is why he kept him around during BBS after he disappeared.

They're chess buddies and there's a deep relationship there and finally at the end of 3 they can be together at last

#8 NamiXi / Namishi

I don't think about this pairing as often but I also like it. Like I see the vision and I'm definitely for it. Naminé is definitely a lesbian + whatever thing she has going on with Repliku. Again I'm a multishipper so 🤷

Naminé helped Xion see who she is and actually honest with her. They're definitely friends too, but then will date. What they have at the end of kh3 is really cute to me where they collect seashells together

Also with them both being aspects of someone else can relate to seeing memories that aren't theirs/ wishing to be another person.

#9 RepliVani / VaniPliku /NamiVanpliku

I originally liked them as the duo first being friends who are just silly and fight. But now I'm really into them as also a couple. Naminé is definitely there breaking the tension.

I wish they did interact since they're similar both being created from someone else. Vanitas being part of Ventus and Repliku being part of Riku.

As a fan of lost trio I also think the concept of them fighting over Naminé could also be interesting like who better friend/ Vanitas thinks he is going to be left out and pretends he doesn't care. But their interactions I need

#10 MarLar

I don't think about them that much but again I really like them. This is probably my only one that's part of Union x in a way.

Marluxia is the only one Larxene really tolerates and they both have plans to be overthrow the organization together.

They are closer than any of the others and keep finding their ways to each other.

In Union x they were also close and befriended each other and ever since then they stuck together even if they had memories or not.

#11 Roxner

This could also be with the HC of transfem Marluxia

I'm still new to this ship but I recently thought you know I actually like this. Roxas and Hayner's relationship is honestly likable friends that could honestly be something more. Especially in kh2 beginning with how they interact with the other.

I also want to point out kh3 desire for him To want to find Roxas too.

Also in days when Roxas spends the day hanging out with him and the rest of them.

Fandom makes this honestly nice and cute couple through fanart and comics.

Conclusion

Anyway that's the ones I like in no specific order except Soriku is number 1.

Those that aren't here means I am either indifferent/ neutral towards to ship, dislike it, or I think it's weird as in an adult that's 26 being with 14 yo would be.

And most I don't even dislike if seen my other posts about this subject 99% I'm neutral towards except og Riku and any female ship.

However honorable mentions towards Brain and Marluxia I think they have potential to be interesting but not a lot about them, this goes for Brain and Ephemer too.

Cinderella and Aqua, it's honestly the only Disney + original character pairing most people agree one is good.

I like seeing the art about it but that's about it.

Larxene and Aqua as well as Terra and Marluxia as honorable mentions, I've seen some fanart that makes me think otherwise.
