Parenting is an art.. I recently read an article how to do factful and fun-filled parenting for one of my training sessions, I came across so many stories of course an article must have all spices to keep it interesting but what I understood and the study I grabbed is "Parenting is Learning" and it's never ending till the parent stops.. Many types of parents overprotective, drill coach, teacher, street wise, warriors, soldiers, pirates and what not.. But as a whole it's all about raising up blissful children who are mindful to be an "Human".... Every type of parent develop unique characteristics through their direct parenting impact and studies say "Children are just the Kinda replica of the style in which they are grown up and they inculcate few Traits which is obviously resembling any of the parents.... I would feel incomplete if I don't talk about SINGLE PARENTS and I would say they are blessed and they are the one of those bestest friend a child can have and they are none other than angels for all those children brought up by the single parent.. It is currently 7:41 a.m. Today is the day I tell my parents that I am moving out of their house and into my boyfriend’s. I am rather terrified of my parents, due to never feeling any choice I make is good enough for them. Not to mention, my parents are very old school, and VERY overprotective. I am 18 years old, and some (probably most) would say that I am too young to move out and I don’t really know what I want. Well, let me tell you this. My boyfriend, Mike, has been supportive of me since Day 1. He has always been there for me to help me through rough spots. We have a very difficult relationship to most people, but oddly enough we understand each other. Of course, he has his flaws, but who doesn’t honestly? Unfortunately, I think my parents only see the flaws in him. I am not sure they see how happy he and I are when we are together. Moving out is a big step for me, especially because I am starting college in 10 days (that includes weekends). I see a bright and happy future with my boyfriend. I love him very much. We know each other's boundaries, likes, dislikes, allergies, the whole nine yards. As I am writing this morning blog entry, which I am sure no one reads anyway, I am formulating a lot of anxiety about talking to my parents. I definitely know that I want to move in with him, and want a future with him. I know a lot of my parent's concerns about moving in are due to the fact that they believe Mike will get pregnant, and force me to drop out of college. Mike and I have talked about this multiple times, and honestly, I living with him would make me continue in school more because he holds me accountable for my work, and helps me plan and organize my work so that my brain understands it. It is 7:55 a.m. as I am finishing up this entry, and will be soon talking to my parents. Wish me luck.

Just started my Diploma program and my overprotective parents are trying to get my student ID just so they can access my student portal and see when my classes are cancelled and what my results are. So fucked up! My invoice was on the living room table and I caught one of my parent trying to look for my student Id on the invoice. I saw her(mom) memorising the number as her lips were saying the numbers silently.
