Felix: Looks like we got em, boss.

(Waits for a reply, looks around when he doesn’t.)

Felix: Boss? Hey SAM do y’know where the boss is?

SAM: There are no cleaning codes broken here!

Felix: Why did I ask..Boss? You out there?

( walks near a rock, seeing something in the grass.)

Felix: Fuckkk..boss. 

(Artemis is out with blood dripping from her mouth, a small scratch and slightly burned cuz manti- species.)

Felix: Don’t be dead, don’t be dead. ADA scares me and...you’re the captain and y’know. Just. Don’t be dead. I can’t tell Pavari you’re dead..

SAM: There is blood here. This breaks the cleaning code c7824. Proceeding to clean.

Felix: No, not on the boss.

(Checks her neck for pulse.)

Felix: Thank law , you're alive. 

(Picking her up, trying not to get SAM’s cleaning stuff on her)

Felix: Come on SAM, lets get to Fallbrook.

SAM: I shall dispense body bag(s)

Felix: No SAM, she’s not dead.

(Sits down and puts her head in his lap to y’know ‘bloodflow’ to keep her alive, definitely not taken her hairband out, jaw length hair, and running his hand through it. ‘Keep her alive’)

Artemis: Felix?

Felix: Boss!

Artemis: (cough) So I ain’t dead. Shame.

SAM: /Happy music sounds/

Artemis: Happy to see you too SAM.  Been some time since someone’s had their hand in my hair….you...you took it down…

Felix: Uh yeah..sorry, thought you’d be more comfortable. Who was the last person to run their hand through your hair.

Artemis: My last relationship 

Felix: What was he like?

Artemis: She, I like both. She...I don’t remember. Her name, her appearance. It’s all gone.

Felix: She frozen?

Artemis: Yeah. I think so anyway. If we manage to finish with Phineas and get everyone...I wouldn’t recognise her. We split up before we were frozen. Wasn’t right for me…..Wow that’s some memories.

Felix: Sorry Boss.

Artemis: You can call me by my name, y’know that right?

Felix: Yeah..your name.

Artemis: You don’t know it do you?

Felix: To be truthful with ya, no. No I don’t.

Artemis: Guess it’s only Pavarti...she was there when I said it aloud when I met her..and I mean I like Cap, Captain, Boss…..even Customer….

Felix: Hey uh ADA mind opening the door, my arms are full and SAM….SAM doesn't have hands

ADA: I am only able to take orders from the Captain. You are not the captain, Felix Millstone.

Felix: Come on...the rangers game is tonight!

Parvarti: Felix? That you?

Felix: Well yeah, please open the door. Kinda an emergency.

Parvarti: Bushes exist, Felix.. Don’t think Cap would mind.

Felix: Not that kind! Boss is injured.

Parvarti: Shit! Give me a sec.

(Door opens) 

Pavarti: Come on in, her quarters are open.

Nyoka: Cap get hurt again. Let me guess. Mantiqueen?

Felix: Sure was, two of em. Swarms too. 

Max: She does hate them.

Ellie: Who doesn’t

Artemis: I am awake. And yes. I despise  the manti-species.

Ada: Welcome back, Captain.

(In her quarters)

Artemis: Hey Felix

Felix: Yeah, Boss

Artemis: Name’s Artemis, Art if you want. 

Felix: Artemis the vice president of aggressive acquisitions, nice.

Artemis: Mind bending down, kinda stuck to my bed and don’t wanna anger Pavarti as kind as she is.

(Bends down)

(Get’s kissed on the cheek)

Artemis: Thank you. Take me to a rangers game sometime. (wink)

Felix: (very flustered) Uh yes. S-sometime...th-theres one tonight.. . Yeah...Bye Bos- Artemis.

(leaves room)

Parvati: Got something for the Captain?

Felix: What no. 

Parvati: I ain’t one for physical stuff like her but I notice things, travelled with her for the longest. 

Felix: She kissed my cheek and said to take her to a rangers game...she also winked.

Parvati:We could have talked about this with a drink. I want all the details.

4. How did they react to becoming Captain of the Unreliable? Are they much of a leader?

Waverly was sickened at the late Alex Hawthorne's death but accepted her role as captain fairly quickly, as there was no one else around. She was honestly excited to own her own ship as Waverly never owned any of the previous places she lived in.

Waverly is good at the emotional and practical parts of leading (giving advice, buying supplies, etc.) but she is horrible at planning ahead in missions. She calls it thinking on her feet but ADA says there is actually very little thinking involved.

5. What was their life like before being iced?

Waverly was 18 when she entered medical school and she did 6 years of residency afterwards, so she is physically 29 years old. Her life was a lot of work before boarding the Hope and she was actually poor or just above the poverty line for most of her adult life. 

Decided to board the Hope as an Auntie Cleo doctor because she was promised her own practice (which was a lie and Waverly found out right before they iced her).

7. What’s their fighting style? Who do they bring along?

Waverly is a terrible shot, so her fighting style is mostly melee or "Hit them 'til they DIE" as she calls it. She prefers the Tossball blocker that Grimm gave her and the landing pad cutter that she found.

If she could, she would bring her whole crew. As she can't, Waverly usually brings Nyoka as she is a far better shot than Waverly. Everyone else varies depending on the mission type, for non-friend missions, Waverly usually alternates between Max and Ellie.

Waverly does not ever bring the SAM unit. She's seen/directly caused too many Automechanical glitches to want him in combat situations with her.
