I forgot to upload this earlier but that also gave me a chance to tweak some stuff in the meantime, so here you go! Captain Artemis herself! ^_^ Same with Selene, I don’t really use a colour scheme like this very often, but that tends to happen when the colours are based on a pre-existing thing. The same happened with Captain Shira actually, though with a completely different colour scheme and overall mood. Overall I’m very happy with the design and colour placement :)

Every so often I get a piece that is a struggle to finish, so I’ve had this one in the works for a while! It was more the colour balancing and layering on the strokes and gradients that took the most time, as I’ve had the clean lines for the rest done for about as long as the idea itself. I’m used to wrestling with colour, but oh boy did this one fight me this time! That said though, I’m happy with the result :)

After coming up with an idea for a rival to Captain Artemis, I felt like making a logo for him in the same way I did for her. So this is Captain Apollo, the sun to Artemis’s moon. I deliberately made his logo have some opposites to Artemis, but still keep the general structure to show their duality in some way. His character sheet is also in the works so stay tuned for that, but I hope you enjoy this for now ^_^ Available on my Redbubble! WIP from April 11th, 2023 Welp, running away with my one-off ideas again xD The bug design brain rot continues, it seems! Developing a bit more of Kiida’s backstory led me to think about what things she might have liked as a child despite her upbringing, and next thing I knew I had a concept for an in-universe action hero, Captain Artemis! With her own WIP logo too because I really can’t help myself lmao Basically a magical girl type series that inspired Kiida to take up archery for her military training. Her memories of this were left behind with the rest of her childhood at the time, but some of it is rekindled when she returns to her former home. She bonds with Zereth over this shared interest, though I can picture them getting the whole family invested in the anime-style melodrama eventually xD Her bow’s green magic ended up being sort of a callback to the very first design for Kiida’s bow, funnily enough! She’s based on a luna moth (in case that wasn’t obvious already lol), so like Captain Shira, I had a good base to work off of for her colour scheme. I do have plans for a few more things to add to this for the finished sheet, but it’s been really fun so far already :’D I DO want to get a WIP commission I have done first though, so I’m uploading this now to hopefully placate my desire to share until that other art is done (we’ll see how well that goes lol). Wish me luck, but hope you like this for now! :)

Farola, the Future Daughter of Warriors and Artemis! (OC)

I would like to introduce you guys to my LU! oc, Farola! She is the middle daughter of Warriors and his Zelda (Artemis)

Out of her siblings, she is the only one who really takes interest in following her father's legacy and joining the military! One of Farola’s drives in life is to become a great captain like her father in his youth. Not only that, but she also seeks to be worthy of the master sword! (And her parents attention—)

1.) The fabric that hangs from her sword (same one that Wars uses in the comics, and the one most commonly used by Hyilan soldiers) is a part from her fathers old scarf. He tied it to her sword as a way to give his strength and courage to his daughter during battle.

2.) Artemis and Sheik both have hair assexories that dangle from the ends of their braids/hair. When Farola was born, Artemis got one custom made for her daughter. It is meant to resemble the kokiri emerald from legends of old, as it was associated with the Golden Goddess that Farola was named after.

The hand that is comforting the crying Farola is Warriors, her father!

In the same drawing, the night dress she wears is a reference to one that her mother also wore! (FIRST IMAGE IN THE LINK!)

The clothes she wears in the bottom left pose is what the Hyilan soldiers worr during Warriors’ era!

Within the Kokiri emerald Accessory is the symbol most commonly associated with Farore, the goddess of courage
