⭐ - Not sure if I'm taking this headcanon or not, but I do think It's pretty neat

💋 - Kinky! DISCLAIMER: Ive always seen the rottmnt boys (and April) in the age group from 17 to 19 and thats what I headcanon them as (as it is my own age group!). Ive seen the show and was fucking sure theyre my age and then a month or two later I was slapped in the face with thier actual age lol. I dont support any pedo shit, I also dont think minors can consent. Just putting it out there

The 'Tism

• 💜 I think Its pretty fucking obvious that this boy is autistic, pretty much everything in the show supports this.

• ❤ Donny's headgear also works as noise cancelling headphones! He's often overwhelmed by background sounds and his gear makes it easier for him to live his life (either on missions or just spending time with his brothers and/or April). He still loves blasting his music on the highest volume tho. It's different when you consent to hearing your jams then when several people are talking at once and youre going crazy.

Tagging as kind of canon because he might have audio sensory issues because of his autism and you can reraly see him without the damn googles.

• 💜 He knows ASL! Though It's never said in the show why he learned it, I believe that because he goes nonverbal often. Everyone in the lair can sign a bit because of that, but not everybody is too good at it. Donatello can communicate in ASL fluently.

Gender

• 🧡 Donatello never really felt connected to being "a men" and categorising things as "for boys" and "for girls" always seemed dumb to him. Shortly after Leo's coming out as a trans men (SURPRISE LEO HEADCANON) he went to talk to him about his gender experience. After some thinking and digging, Don came to the conclusion that he is in fact nonbinary. He still uses mostly male pronounces but always appreciates gender neutral pronounces coming his way.

Sexuality

• 🧡 While realising his own gender he also figured out that he doesn't really sees gender that seriously in others either. Men or women, its pretty much whatever to him. He doesn't like to label himself much when it comes to his sexuality, he accepts reffering to him as a pansexual or bisexual.

• 🧡 When it comes to dating Donatello doesn't imagine himself with anyone, really. He finds himself attractive, but doesn't think anyone would fancy him in a romantic way. He's not interessted much in dating either way. But he doesn't exclude dating someone in the future. It's just he won't go out of his way to look for love.

• ❤/🧡 Its obvious Don is a men of science, he's a genius when it comes to coding, math, engineering, I would say chemistry as well. Thats the field he feels the most comfortable in, but he loves learning new things in general. As long as there is interesting knowledge he can obtain, he will be there, soaking it like a sponge. He likes listening to info dumps, and probably listens to long ass video essays and/or podcasts.

• 🧡 Don likes to learn about others people hobbys and takes interest in learning about it. He likes showing others that he cares about something, even though Its something totally indifferent to him. For example, he knows lot about art making process from Mikey (Angelo even made him paint with him a couple of times!) even tho he doesn't really likes drawing and/or famous artists. No many people appreciate his work so he wants to show his appreciation to others.

• 💜 He is pretty low empathy most of the time. It's hard for him to relate to others, and can often feel like someone is overreacting. It's also challenging for him to put his feelings "out there". Which often makes him look unloving or unfriendly. And it couldn't be farther from the truth. He loves his brothers even though they bother him most of the time. And he loves April as well (though she never really troubled him much). He never really thinks that his low empathy is a flaw (more often he thinks about it as a blessing) but there rare are moment when he feels helpless because of it. He is glad that his family knows that he truly cares about them (and accepts any effort he puts in to express his feelings, even if it seems small).

• 🧡⭐ I've seen people headcanoning Donny as a baker and honestly I like it a lot. Cooking is Mikeys domain, and it suits him well, as it allows a lot of freestyling and just overall feeling. Baking and pastry making is very calculated and one miatake can ruin the whole thing. It reminds Don of engineering in a sense. Also baking is an easy way to get love and appreciation from his family because, cmon, he just made the most angelic fruit tarts in the whole universe, of course they're going to praise him. It also works as a stress relief. When feeling stumped and/or overwhelmed over a project or a situation he'll make something easy like brownies to get his mind of it.

• 🧡 He's very sentimental. He loves receiving gifts and will cherish and use them (even if he doesn't like it). He still has every "gamers dont die they respawn" Tshirt and every "dont fuck with my brother he was born in october and has autism" mug. Sometimes he REALLY wants to throw something away but god damn it this is painting Mikey did when he was ten and is just five splats of paint and thinking about him somehow finding out and crying about it might destroy him forever.

• 🧡⭐ This bitch reads fanfics, thats it. It started when he was around 13 or smth with Atomic Lass x Reader and now he knows all the fanfic lingo. He still might read something from time to time and writes very long and well written comments (with constructive criticism).

• 🧡 Speaking of which, Don writes perfect sentences while texting. All the correct spelling and punctuation. He also communicates with emojis and gifs like a millenial.

Food, TW: drinking!

• 🧡 He has a rather strong head, you cant make him drunk that easily. But when it finally happens, youre in for a ride. Shutting him up is near impossible, he will talk non-stop but with much less eloquence then while sober. Its extremely easy to make him laugh, so Leo absolutely loves it. He often looses track of what hes saying and starts completely different rant. Overall a chaotic mess. Really fun to witness it at least once. His beverage of choice is either fun cocktails or beer (tho rarely and/or only with some kind of juice because he doesn't like the fizziness on his tongue).

• 🧡 And that takes us to Donatello that hates fizzy drinks. He hates carbonated beverages, no matter if its cola or champagne. The feeling on his tongue and in his mouth makes him really uncomfortable. When there is no other choice but to drink up some bubbless, he leaves it open for as long as he can to get rid of them. His brothers despise him for that.

• 🧡 He doesn't like weird food combos either and is rather picky. When ordering food Don sticks to what he knows not to risk an uncomfortable texture touching his mouth. Texture is the most often reason for him not liking a specific food. Donnys pretty strict to preparing food as well (the way he does a thing is The Correct Way and no other exception is acceptable). Also he puts milk first so his cereal doesn't get soggy.

• 🧡 I feel like he likes fruit juices in boxes and fruit mousses but this is pretty random 🤷

• ❤/🧡 He wears contacts! We've seen little Donny with glassess, so I assumed he wears contacts now. When he knows he will be spending all day in the lair (for example because of an injury) he still has a pair of glassess he uses. And yes, he tapes them to the head. Because he rarely ever wears them, he never came up with a solution for not having ears and needing glassess.

• 🧡 ABSOLUTELY hates smoking. Will go on a rant if he sees someone he knows smoking. He absolutely despises the smell and WILL take it out of someones mouth/hand and throw it away. Appreciates the fun smells of vapes but still hates them. Will call vapers losers (maybe not exacly in these words but he will for sure).

• 🧡 Really good at makeup, but not as good as Leo is (ANOTHER SURPRISE LEO HEADCANON). He spend years perfecting his eyebrows of course. He also wears eyeliner because serving cunt is important even on the battlefield. From time to time you can see his nails painted as well.

• 🧡⭐ While being flustered or simply distracted he stutters a lot, mostly in a way of repeating whole words or parts of a sentence ("Its good because- Its good- Its good because I um- Its good-")

• 🧡 Enjoys taking very long baths, and actually prefers them much more then showers. Can stay underwater for a rather long time as well!! Being fully submerged calms him down a lot and its overall very relaxing for him.

• 🧡⭐ Ive seen a lot of takes that without his battle shell, he is really flexible (due to having a soft shell). And I like the idea. I think, that before sitting infront of a screen (or a desk in general) to do his work for several hours he stretches deeply so his back won't be so sore later. Also a reason to draw Donny in yoga poses and thats always cool.

• ❤ Makes up shit to fuck with his brothers. Like just spreading misinformation and gaslighting them for shit and giggles. Or to get them to leave him alone for a while. Also will gaslight them if they somehow find out that he was lying ("what? you must have heard me wrong then 🙄💅")

• 💜/❤ Loves singing and dancing!!! Aint the best singer (tho I love his songs in the show Im kissing him as we speak) but is a gorgeous dancer! He finds it incredibly fun and feels fabulous while doing it. Also Im pretty sure dancing counts as stimming so add it to the list. Dances solo like 90% of the time but really enjoys dancing in pairs (dances with April a whole lot when they get the chance!).

• ❤ He rarely laughs out loud, but when he does it is loud and messy. A good joke can make him think about it all day and continue laughing for a long time. Not my og take, Ive seen this headcanon before and I love it so so much :3

• 🧡 From all his brothers, he kind of wishes to be human the most of them all. Its not a big big wish, he does think of himself as very unique individual and takes pride of being a mutant. But sometimes while hanging out with April he can get lost in his thoughts of "what ifs". Maybe in the process of making a cloaking accessory.

• 🧡 His handwriting is god-awful. All scribly and fucked up like Doctors writing. Unfamiliar eye would not decipher a word out of it, but Don knows exactly what everything means. But he mostly writes digitally.

• ❤ Dons dislike of hugging is canon, but I do believe he likes being touched on his head and face (head pats, cheek rubs, scratches). He enjoys hand holding when it's appropriate as well.

• 💋 Im headcanoning the boys to go through mating season once a year (except mikey cuz he small) everyone at a different time. It would be similiar to an ovulation but much more horny (with also fever symptoms). Don would be the second after Raph to get it. While in heat he doesn't go feral or anything, but after a few days stops working because he cant focus on his craft. Waves of sudden temperature changes (mostly high heat) with really horny thoughts and hypersensitivity to pretty much everything...yeah not the best work environment. He spends his most intensive days closed off in his lab or room because he really doesn't want his family to see him like this (the rest of the turtles are in thier rooms during thier mating time as well for the same reason). Also add being possessive while having a SO, and also veeery easy to irritate.

• 💋 Donny takes on a more submissive role while being intimate, even though he loves to be in charge all the time. But he isn't a bottom either, I would put him perfectly in the middle as a switch (more leaning on that sub part tho).

• 💋 His biggest turn on is smell. Like someones natural smell, no perfumes and all. He likes to snuggle in the crook of the neck and take it all in. This becomes cranked up to eleven during mating season, as he absolutely cannot stop sniffing. Would love his significant other to leave him clothes with thier smell on it and sleep and/or snuggle with it.

i think we need to support characters in stories having changing gender identities.

i feel like people in fandoms are soo hung up over the ideas that "he *has* to be bisexual because he kissed a woman once" or that "they CANT be aromantic/asexual/aroace because they dated someone!"

no!! they can be! people change, and i feel like forcing characters to be one thing or another solely because this or that is harmful to us!

i think it reflects in tbe way we treat people!

someone who says stuff like

"CHARACTER cant be LESBIAN because she kissed a boy earlier in the series!"

"CHARACTER cant be AROMANTIC because they(re) DATED/DATING someone!"

"CHARACTER cant be BISEXUAL because theyve only shown intrest in BOYS"

"CHARACTER cant be NONBINARY because they use THESE PRONOUNS!"

will be more inclined to say

"Oh! Susan cant be a lesbian because she dated that fine lad awhile back!"

"Aha, Brian isnt nonbinary because he uses he/him pronouns!"

stuff like that!!

pleasepleaseplease i just think we need more representation of like. characters who think theyre one flag/sexuality/gender but realise theyre another.

i also think we need to keep this in mind!!

also this does not apply to characters like willow who have been confirmed as pansexual.

its so important to me that people know cartman WOULD actually fucking say he uses any pronouns but in the context of someone at school comes out as nonbinary and the teachers dont know how to deal with that irt gendered activities ie sports so theyre forced to sit out (and its made very clear they dont like being othered like this) and cartman decides he needs to get in on this so he starts saying he uses any pronouns and the nb kid is thrilled someone else is like them and actually uses she and they interchangeably for him until he realises he actually hates it and snaps at the nb kid who cries and cartman goes back to being cisgender

i like refrain from commenting on this but its getting to a point where i see it daily so listen i cant think of a nice way to say this sorry 😭 but if this is you then with all love now is probably not the moment in your life to start going by a hebrew name and changing ur icon to a magen david on a pride flag and starting a blog called journeying-to-hashem. and i say this with love for you like i think people are too worried to say something in case theyre gatekeeping but the fact is this type of thing is going to seriously negatively impact any future experience you do have - or on the other equally valid hand make it very difficult for you to realise that this may not be the right step for you at this point in time.

if you genuinely feel that every rabbi you meet is "super bigoted and weird" then (without judging you bc idk you and maybe you are just surrounded by dozens of homophobic rabbis and there's nothing antisemitic at all behind this statement) it could be that... joining the community they represent is not right for you, even if only at this point in time in your current location, and your tumblr experience is giving you the warped impression that its all nonbinary people in trad-egal minyans which is not going to be the case in almost any irl community so you will feel let down by all of them which unfair to both yourself and them (i.e my first point)

A bouquet of aloe, fern, blue iris and sage VS Blue Roses 2

First, let's talk about the bouquet of aloe, fern, blue iris and sage

Meaning and why these plants were chosen: Aloe represents affection, grief and bitterness, I chose this flower to represent their relationships. There are only very few characters they are affectionate with, and two of them die a tragic death, at the same time they usually approach everyone with a certain bitterness, even those they consider friends.

Fern represents magic, fascination and secrets. The character's most defining trait is their curiosity and fascination with the world around them, especially when it comes to topics such as magic and faith [...]Additionally their bitter attitude makes them seem as if they have a major secret to protect.

Iris represents trust, faith and hope, blue iris specifically wisdom and knowledge. The character is quite the genius, always eager to learn, and throughout their story dependent on their trust in their friends and within the dynamic one who provides information and strategical support. I also chose blue iris as one type of blue iris (stinking iris) is native to Britain, and the character takes great pride in their British heritage.

Lastly sage, which is most commonly known as a useful herb, and often mentioned within witchcraft rituals, and represents wisdom. I chose both fern and sage as plants within a bouquet that are not exactly flowers as the character has a primarily pragmatic view on life, but also included actual flowers as the character might at first appear harsh and practical but also cares deeply about the well being of others[...]

Description: The character is curious and intelligent, a social outlier by their belief in the supernatural, and yet a very rational personality. Despite their tough, and often insulting, attitude to the people around them they care deeply about everyone's wellbeing. They are an idealist [...] and tend to get impatient with people who do not share their urge to fight for social justice and global equality. Through their own outlook, but also unfortunate life events, they have a very narrow social circle and are predominantly introverted, and yet very attention demanding. Now, let's talk about the Blue Roses 2

Meaning and why this flower was chosen: – This flower can represent "a dream come true" or an "imposibility" -blue roses do not occur in the wild, and have to be artificially dyed through human effort.

This alludes to the fact that this character is transmasculine, but realizes over the course of their character arc that they'd be happier identifying as nonbinary. Though they thought they'd be happier as a boy, it turns out what suits them best is something that fits within the gender binary, something that has to be achieved through human effort.

– Ton of people are stuck in a matrix, and fighting to escape the escapist world lets you unlock superpowers that besides a weapon, gives you flowers.

There's this guy,[...] First guy to join the breakout gang. [...]They have a crossbow, and also a binder and heels. And Blue roses.[...]

This character's regret is he didn't get to transition publicly. But also now that they're here, they're not getting that expected gender euphoria. They discover theyre TRANSMASC NON-BINARY. Just like the identity they forged for themself. i lost my old post saying this so im saying it again.. ahem

NO TRANS PERSON IS MY ENEMY

i dont care if they're transmed/truscum/whatever you wanna call it. i dont care if they think me or my identity is cringe/wrong/a stain on the community. i was there once, i went down that pipeline for years, and it made me deeply unhappy and resentful of other trans people. you feel othered by cis people and retaliate against your trans siblings because you want to believe that cis people will accept you and they would accept you if it weren't for other trans people getting in the way - even though that's not the case.

by forcing transmeds to stay away from us and to 'DNI' all we're doing is pushing them further and further into the echo chamber telling them that they aren't good enough unless they perform transgenderism correctly. it gets exhausting, and you become bitter and angry. you don't understand why other people who are being their authentic selves seem so happy when you're not, and it makes you even more resentful.

the way i managed to crawl out of this pit was through youtubers like contrapoints' old videos about her own trans journey or philosophytube (who, though she had not come out to youtube at the time is and was still trans) making videos about transphobia. it was other trans people who helped me crawl out of this by simply explaining to me why it was okay to just do you. personally, it made me realise that before i had been pulled into this pipeline, i never identified as a "man." i was nonbinary before i was convinced enbies couldn't exist. and now im so much happier being able to be myself.

i want to extend that hand to any transmeds who maybe are starting to question the ideology or are simply tired of being so angry all the time. we are not your enemies, we are all a part of this community and no matter what we need to be there for each other. i can promise that when push comes to shove, transphobes are not going to care that you were trans the "right way", theyre still going to advocate for your death. trans people will be there for you, it'll be the trans community who protects you and stays by your side, and the person to pull you out of the fire might use neopronouns and have a weird gender but does that really matter when they want all of us dead regardless?

trans people are not my enemies. i don't care how much they've aligned themselves with transphobes, when it comes down to it, we have to protect each other. no person left behind.

It was your habit of self isolation that happened to lead you to these specific woods on this specific night, despite the rumours you’d heard, if you were honest you didn’t believe in wendigo’s or Liches, so what did it matter anyway.

Little did you know of the thing that would be prowling that night

You settled comfortably next to a flowing stream, staring down into the clear reflection. It was fairly cold that night, and instead of the soft smell of earth, all you could smell was a sickly sweet rot. It coated your lungs, practically making you taste the rot from the inside, you couldn’t tell if it was you who was rotting

It took a while for you to realise you’d zoned out, and by this point he it , had noticed you. You had let your mind wander, your first mistake. You glance back down at the stream only to realise theres 2 more eyes staring back at you. You feel someone dig their hands through your scalp and slam your face forward into the stream.

When you woke up was the first time youd actually caught a glimpse of him, he was turned around mumbling to himself. “Theyre deceiving….like a flower, cant trust..” you shifted in the chair, immediately he jumps around to face you. By the face he made glancing at you, you realised this wasnt going to be a quick ordeal.

It in fact wasn’t, but over the next month You ended up gaining his trust, since he had decided not to kill you, he assumed you wanted to stay alive for the survival aspect like most people, but would be very curious to find you had actually managed to develop a trust in him.

He preferred it like that, he loves when youre reliant on him, like a flower. He liked the way that when he went for work you’d beg him to stay a little longer, and practically be anticipating the moment he got home. It almost feels domestic.

Once he truly is sure that he can trust that you wont just leave him like the others, then he’ll occasionally talk about his past, despite the fact you have definitely not been to the river, or experienced death for that matter, he enjoys the feeling of you empathising with him like he’s a normal person, you’re the only normal thing in his life

You both have the shared view of nihilism, the cup is half empty, that kinda jazz. Although he would appreciate a more positive outlook on life, he likes to be realistic, even still he enjoys the fact theres more than just the wrong place at the worst time in common, your insides are like his too

because of the way you quickly become comfortable with him, he feels although its unfair to keep you in the chair. A lot of the time he lets you curl up next to him in bed, but the beds pretty small, so sometimes you fall off. He noticed this and slyly upgraded on one of the nights he had given you his special tea, now you both fit! Since you cling to him in part because of your personality and your Stockholm syndrome, he enjoys the feeling of your tight grasp to him, as if you’ll never see him again.

Although Lawrence is a bit dense he’s most definitely not stupid, when you need to isolate he knows the damp walls of his small apartment don’t keep either of you apart enough to feel alone

if you say you want to be alone and he has a high level of trust with you, he’ll go out and meet with a friend, leaving the apartment to you, with the windows open slightly for a breeze. However hes still a very paranoid man, he hides anything sharp and takes his phone with him, he even tells his neighbours if they hear any noises its just his partner drunk as fuck, just incase you try anything

Once he’s realised you’re permanent to his apartment, he gets hungry again. He’ll give you your favourite tea, and tie your wrists to his bed. He would force you to watch him gently butcher his next victim, the drugs must be doing some shit because you could swear he had antlers-

No matter how you look outside he will always be more curious about your insides, sometimes he’ll convince you to let him make small cuts in your legs and wiggle his fingers inside, other time’s he’ll fully drug you and make one long precise cut down just above your spine, and because you’re so trusting of him, you allow it.

Even if you did happen to die on his watch, he has faith youd come back via the river, even better if you do actually, massive turn on for him, because then you can rot together forever. He fully believes you’re pathetic enough to come back to him, over resting

I feel like despite him not being anywhere near as aggressive as some of the others, when he’s particularly gone, he would release you from his apartment. Force you to leave, to run. Then make a game of chasing you in the dead of night

He knows no matter how slow he runs, or how little effort he puts in you wont actively try to leave. He sees you looking back, checking he’s still there, how close he is, if he isn’t you slow down. He cant help but smile at just how much you need him. You’re perfect

Ive mentioned this on twitter but i feel the absolute need to reiterate how absolutely FUCKED the circumstances of Hob's immortality actually is.

It isnt a REWARD or PUNISHMENT for something he'd done. At no point was Hob ACTIVELY consulted about it. He was DRUNK, freshly returned from fighting a war for a king that let half his village (and likely his entire family) die from the Black Plague. Hob's immortality was the result of a wager between two entities of higher power than most Gods, he was the pawn of a GAME. Sure, Death had ulterior motives (wanting to give Dream a friend and for him to get out of the house.) But as far as Dream was aware this entire debacle was to see how long this measly peasant of a human could stand being alive before it drives him insane. In fact, the Centennial dates were so he could periodically check and WATCH.

Effectively, it was like if two people picked up some random grasshopper and dropped him into a mug of wine, watching to see how long he would stay alive with no lifeline. Humans arent DESIGNED to live that long.

AND YET. HOB DID.

For the most BATSHIT reason of....wanting to experience the mundanity and unfiltered joy of simple living. Do you understand how INSANE that is? And Dreamling as a concept is...my friend had explained it as; imagine defying God's will SO HARD HE FALLS IN LOVE WITH YOU. Imagine being SO UNHINGED in hope and optimism of Earthly Experiences an entity powerful than most Gods that HATE humans FALLS IN LOVE WITH YOU.

Like, FUCK. This ship drives me crazy. There is simply nobody out there like Robert "Hob" Gadling and there will be no other.
