I've now been making sauerkraut for about a year.
I've had some experiments that went awfully--I got excited and wanted to pickle everything, which kinda meant that everything got kahm yeast. Carrots, man, carrots are hard.
So I decided to try my hand at carrots again, but tempering them with cabbage. I was going for "dill pickle carrots", with dried dill and (fermented) garlic. I cut my carrots and cabbage thicker than usual "Coleslaw" blend, for more crunch. It's pretty good!

If you are looking foods to upset your stomach, I looked it up and here are my results.
Spicy, greasy, or fatty foods
Foods high in fiber, like raw vegetables and whole grains
Foods high in fat, like fried foods and ice cream
Acidic fruits like oranges, lemons, and limes
Foods high in sugar, like dried fruits, high-fat dressings, and sauces
Belly inventory:
- 30 sugar free gummies (laxative effect)
-2 laxatives (dissolved) (laxative effect)
- 2 cups of apple juice (lower pH of stomach, acid reflux)
- a jar of pickles (+ juice) (lower pH of stomach)
- 5 spicy chicken fingers (spicy + greasy/fatty)
- 2 whole carrots (fibre)
- half a tub of chocolate icecream (sugar + fat)
- 8 dried organges (sugar)
Belly update:
Not doing so good... I feel really full in my upper stomach, I've defined eaten way too much. Not much going on in my lower stomach though. I don't think anything has left my stomach yet.
If yall have any ideas, you better get them in quick cause I'm not going to fit a hell of a lot more in here
