Sorry to hear you're having such a bad day, sending you hugs 💖 ok so question for you to wake up to (and probably me as well because it's 10pm here and I've just finished work): what's your favourite food that you get in America that I need to know about?
Bonus question: why is Jeffelo the way he is?
Oh! This is an interesting one! I haven’t been abroad a lot and don’t know what you guys might not have other than certain restaurant chains and whatnot.
Things I would cook for you: Chicken Pot Pie, my pasta and sauce recipe, and my best chili recipe. For breakfast I would make you egg in a hole, which I don’t know if that’s unique to here. But it’s just toast with a circle cut out an an egg fried in the middle.
For stuff we’d go out and get, it depends on where we are. Sure, I think there are gems everywhere, but I think for instance that in New York, pizza and bagels are a must. There’s some great seafood spots around. But with the country as our oyster, I’d take you to all the chains you don’t have.
You asked me for one answer though. There’s a butcher’s in DC that’s pretty old school and always has a different featured burger based on the best ingredients available. (A couple months ago when I last went it was a pizza burger with mozzarella and sauce, another time it was like a southwest aoili with avocado and other fixings) we’d go there. I know you can get a burger anywhere but I like the style of the place and that it’s so local to here snd the different burgers reminds me of Bob’s Burgers.
Jeffelo is the way he is because:
60% he wasborn that way
15% in Matt’s influence since they were kids
5% that he put on a pair of suspenders and unlocked a level he didn’t know existed like when an irritating girl on Instagram trying to be an influencer with less than 500 followers suddenly gets engaged and it’s becomes her personality
7% is because he’s like a toddler who, even though he shouldn’t be doing what he’s doing — since he’s getting a reaction from people he will keep doing it.
10% is because he’s adorable and pure and just wants to have fun. Which you can see in all the times he almost laughs at something Matt or anyone else is saying.
3% is my fault. Because I frequently tweet about what I like about him and tag him. And no joke, he retweets it and then I see him double down on that behavior.

el x bryce hcs?
Glad im spreading the propaganda of callin the lil fucker el bc ??? is def not a catchy name /j
Like I said before, Bryce invites El to help him cook a lot! He often lets El decide what they make, since he wants to give El the freedom to make their own choices, even if it's something as small as picking between pizza and pasta
El wants a fucking mouth so he can kiss Bryce so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so SO bad
And also so they can tell Bryce he loves him!! The cue cards and sign language aren't enough, he wants to just proclaim their love to Bryce!!!
He's a hopeless romantic if you couldn't tell
El fell fast and hard for Bryce, and the crush only grew from there
Whereas for Bryce, after bonding with them a bit, it was a small thing at first. Hanging out with El more made the crush grow, though
El started leaving 'anonymous' love letters for Bryce. I write anaonymous like that bc at this point, Bryce KNOWS El's handwriting. But he enjoys reading the letters so he lets it go on for a bit. And also he never really has a good moment to bring it up without risking embarrassing El
Luckily, El eventually hands Bryce one of the love letters themself, seeing this as a proper confession
And as Bryce suspected, El's embarrassed to know Bryce knew the entire time
Since the two can't properly kiss, and El can't give Bryce kisses at all, Bryce is constantly plastering El's face with kisses, whereas El holds his hand a lot and taps out 'I love you' on the back of Bryce's hand just as often
They cook together so much that dinner dates just kinda feel like regular dinners, so they do pretty much everything else! They go on walks, visit anywhere special in the Gameworks universe, stuff like that.
They've had to get Jeremiah or Lazarus to fly them to a couple special spots for special occasions thanks to distance. Both of them hate third wheeling so they're constantly trying to hand the job off to each other
El's also big on gift giving! Probably a habitual thing given the trophy and whatnot, but still. Bryce is more of a 'show affection through words and actions' kinda guy
El dragged Chandrelle into one of his antics once, which was. Giving them a temporary mouth via her magic so he could kiss Bryce
Pretty much everyone in the inn has had to third wheel at some point. Sometimes they're all third wheeling if El and Bryce are being affectionate in the main room
Finally, El's a little prone to nightmares thanks to his connection to Lionel (Whether it be fearing the group will resent him, nightmares based on Lionel's memories/fears, or just a nightmare about having to listen to that damn venting again, his nightmares are typically related to Lionel), so Bryce calms him down every time. He doesn't mind, and Bryce is really good at comforting people, so 99% of the time it works. 1% of the time is just if the nightmare was THAT bad

Madrid Week 9/10: Viva Italia (part 2… part 1)
Hola a todxs!
Niko back here with week 9 of my study abroad experience. I’m a week late on this one... because last week was spring break (semana santa/holy week, the week leading up to easter)! I was a bit tied up with traveling (which I’ll get into in this blog), so I couldn’t find any time to write. The positive (or negative based on how much you like my writing 🥲) is that I’ll be posting two blogs this week about the trip to make it more digestible, since there is a lot to tell.
So, the week leading up to Spring break was filled with a little bit of scrambling to get all of my stuff done (a paper for Spanish and a presentation for my culture class, which I also think I’ll end up writing a blog about), but once Friday hit, I was free — ready to immerse myself in the true Italian experience 🤌.
The amount of culture in Italy is pretty crazy — I don’t know many other European countries with as many iconic cities as Italy, except for maybe Spain. Beautiful and historically significant places are sprinkled throughout all 301,340 square kilometers, and I think it’s safe to say that I’ve seen a lot of it. Italian fashion, history, wine, geography, and food are also iconic.
It’s also safe to say that I won’t be eating pasta or pizza again for a couple weeks now. I ate primarily carbs for every single meal, and I honestly don’t know how I didn’t end up feeling terribly weak or something like that halfway through due to the lack of protein and nutritious diversity. Quality ingredients I suppose?
Now, I’ll walk through each destination of my break in mini chapters and reflect a bit about each one.
24 hours in Lisbon
When planning out the trip, the cheapest flight that we could find routed us through Lisbon to get to Rome. Seems counter intuitive, I agree, but that’s how it worked out. For the first leg of this trip, I was traveling with one of my Madrid roommates and 3 of his friends that he knew from his hometown.
We had just under 24 hours to get a feel for the city. My conclusion: Lisbon has a wonderful energy. The buildings are beautiful and the narrow streets have a playful way of winding through the city. There are hills in every direction, cute yellow trams bustling about, and the Atlantic ocean is never too far away. I'd already been to Lisbon with my family a few years ago, but it was really nice to experience it from a more grown up perspective.
We went on a free walking tour (pro tip — free walking tours aren’t actually free. Get cash beforehand for tips so you aren’t scrambling to find an ATM when the tour ends [spoken from experience]), listened to a busker perform beautiful Bossa nova (not Portuguese, I'm aware) at an overlook of the city, ate Pastel de Nata (fire af, highly recommend), and zoomed around a little bit on Lime scooters before getting back to the airport to catch our flight to Rome. Pictures tell the better story than I could!

When in Rome
The amount of time we said “When in Rome” or “Hey, Rome wasn’t built in a day” was probably too high to shamelessly write down in this blog, but I don’t regret saying a single one. I mean hey, when in Rome, right?
If you plan on going to Rome, especially during easter, this is the best piece of advice I could give you: book things far, far in advance. I thought it would be cool to book museums and whatnot the weekend before.
Terrible idea. Everything was sold out, and I had to resort to booking expensive tours and second party resell tickets in order to see what I wanted to see. Hopefully, my bank account took the L so that no prospective Italy spring breakers have to. Book in advance from the official websites, and pay the little bit extra to skip the line!! It is worth it.
Rome has an incredible energy that is really enhanced by the history that flanks every inch of it. Anyways, what did I see that I didn't book in advance?
The Vatican Museums/St. Peter's Basilica: pretty insane how beautiful every inch of that building is. Unfortunately, because I was on a timed tour, I didn’t get to fully appreciate all of the art that was in the Museum, but I got a good long while in the Sistine Chapel, which is simply marvelous. The Creation of Adam is truly epic. Michelangelo is the goat. After this trip, I’m a big fan. Michelangelo also designed St. Peter’s Basilica, which I climbed to the top of. It’s also epicly huge and beautiful, and offers amazing views of the city.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Colosseum: worth going inside — especially if you have a good imagination. Looking down at the arena floor, I imagined gladiators brutally fighting to the death with bloodthirsty Romans sneering and cheering them on from all sides. That happened right where I was standing. Even a peasant in the nosebleeds would have been close enough to the action and seen the killing in gruesome detail.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Roman Forums: also a big imagination thing. Imagining standing in the center of Rome, massive white marble buildings towering above, cheering peasants on all sides, while the Roman emperor parades through the streets with golden chariots filled with riches pillaged from far away lands.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Borghese Gallery: Probably my favorite thing in Rome. The pictures speak for themselves, some of the most impressive sculptures I’ve ever seen in my life (close tie with the David in Florence).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Pantheon: It's crazy how old this thing was (like 2000 years), and how good of a condition it's still in. That's what happened when you transform a pagan temple into a church, I guess.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rome itself: Rome is also filled with beautiful, free to access public Piazzas and monuments that are also worth visiting. There is a distinct vibe to each neighborhood, tons of delicious food, cool sunset spots, and good vibes both day and night.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My best recommendation for truly experiencing the epic history throughout the country? RICK STEVES! Rick Steves has audio guides for almost all the biggest tourist attractions in a ton of Italy (and the rest of Europe!) His guides are funny, help you visualize, are super informative, and most importantly, FREE! Using his guides really added to my experience, I listened to them every chance I got. Click here for his Italy guide.
On Tuesday, the friends that I came with left to see other parts of Italy I hadn't planned on visiting, while I took an extra day to explore Rome. I engaged in some Solo-traveling (my first true solo travel of the semester), and my confidence in spending time alone and building connections grew. I stayed in a hostel for two nights and ended up meeting a fellow solo traveler, who happened to be Argentinian. We formed a meaningful connection, and shared mate on Thursday morning — a custom I really missed from my time in Buenos Aires.
Fire-nze 🔥
For those of you who didn’t know (I didn’t before going to Italy) Florence is called Firenze in Italian. Not sure where that distinction came from. But I like it.
I stayed with a home friend of mine, Shea (she stayed with me in Madrid a few weeks ago) who is studying there for the semester. I spent four days in total in Florence, two of which I used to take short day trips to nearby cities.
Florence is the birthplace of the Renaissance. As a result, the museums there are pretty insane. The Uffizi has the most impressive collection of Renaissance paintings, probably in the world, with works from Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffael, and more. The Rick Steves tour is great for this one.
The Accademia is home to Michelangelo’s the David. More about how seeing it made me feel in the reflection section. But it’s epic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Florence also has a pretty insanely huge church, the Duomo, and the story about how it was designed is also crazy. In conclusion, the Renaissance men are goated. They were literally good at everything, art, sculpting, engineering, architecture, you name it, they could do it. How I’m tryna be for real.

Going ta’ Bologna (I tried to make it rhyme i'm sorry)
My day spent in Bologna was one of my favorites this trip. I took a day trip there alone from Florence, a quick 1 hour train ride. Bologna has an amazing vibe. It smells fantastic everywhere (food markets, soap shops, flowers, etc. Beautiful.). It felt really local. There were a good amount of tourists, but Italians far outnumbered them, which was a different story from Florence and Rome, both of which were pretty overwhelmed (especially true in Easter week).
Bologna is also a University Town, so it was filled with young people and overall had a great energy. I spent the day just exploring, eating (I had the best lasagna of my life. Bologna is known for its food scene and it did not disappoint. Ever heard of spaghetti Bolognese? Yeah.), and did a mini pilgrimage to see a cool monastery on a big hill. Fantastic vibes overall, 100% would recommend seeing.

ÆÜGH UR MAKING ME MELT AHHHH- ILY TOO, like the SpongeBob to my Patrick in the most positive sense 💆‍♀️ also DAMN YOU TIME ZONES (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ tmw u wanna send ur asks at a reasonable time but the blog owner is only active when you have to got to sleep or during school hours- *sigh* at least there's the weekends. Go get that sleep brother(gender neutral) the sheer insanity of some of my lore are best digested after a full nights sleep
And honestly you can go nuts with the headcanons if you want, considering that I've got nothing except for the core personality traits developed anyways lol. Mans was a screeching Minecraft kid fr in his youth 😔 | Me @ Nonny: No bitches?
Main characters aside and back to the extras, because I think the ayato rip-off was part of the 3 characters we made during German period actually O_O whoops onto the character descriptions (not all too detailed because I'm at school and still need to find the actual character sheets at home and oof)
-So like, the Koreaboo was also like a vsco "girl" so to say (save da turtles!) and also an e-boy, I think there was a linkin park reference written somewhere next to his character like "CRAWLING IN MY SKIIIIIIIN" except it read crawling in my crawl because it was an inside joke between me and my friends. He wore a fuck ton of scrunchies around both of his arms and had AirPods, he also has a common Korean name, but it's written with a lot of éèêîõñåū if yknow what I mean, I think he was also a tsundere?
-the koreaboos boyfriend, uhhh he's Swedish, his name was like Björn or smth, we made a Cousin for him at some point, he was never finished, I think he vapes??
-Ayato rip-off, so like, he's an actual chill guy iirc (he was doing the finger gun pose in his sheet) he was a prince of a neighbouring kingdom in our story and marries,,,, the character I'm gonna present next I think. Not sure if we still made him a vampire or if we made him a werewolf just for funnsies 🤔 I'll check once I find the character sheets I guess, also he's a himbo with no braincells, I think his name was Eduard XXVII (it was a twilight reference, Edward -> Eduard)
-Princess #1 (insert world is mine reference) I think her name was smth along the lines of Trudy Lasagna and she was homeless. In the story I think she was crowned homeless Queen at the end. She has a sister whom I'm gonna present next. She has a purple patchwork dress and a burgerking crown, I forgot what her whole personality was, I think it was the stereotypical Disney Princess one??
-Princess #2, i think her name was Pisa Margreta (yes it's a Play on Pizza Margarita) and she was theeeee older(?) sister of Trudy. In the story I think she tried to poison Trudy, but was caught and I'm not sure if she just got exiled or actually sentenced to death but oh well. So like, the thing about her is, she was inspired by Cinderella, e x c e p t, she has a pumpkin head and spaghetti hair, her limbs are also made out of one wooden stick per limb, like she's the worst scarecrow ever. Actually, maybe she was cursed to look like that but idek anymore.
So the thought process for their names were "Ayo what if we gave them the worst possible names possible? Like, what's the ugliest old lady names we can give these princesses?" And then we slapped a pasta theme onto their names too lmao and the rest was history
-Ren'py anon
PATRICK AND SPONGEBOB THAT'S AWESOME JDNEIFHE
The timezone thing is sooooo sad! I wanna be able to answer you asks in a timely manner, but I also wanna catch some Z's-
Anyway, you know, that's crazy bc me and anon nonny played minecraft a lot as kids 😱😱😱 We have something in common!!!1!1!1
Jokes aside though, me and my sister did grow up going on creative mode and building houses out of the good shit like diamond, emerald, gold, and whatnot. They'd be like, as tall as the fucking empire state building, and then we would blow it up with dynamite after all that hard work.
So Koreaboo boy was a mix of vsco and e boy? Esco boy ig (Thank you Izzy from Total drama Action for your persona Escope <3)
He would be out with a million scrunchies on his wrists while having a middle part (He left his uneven bangs out and the rest is tied up) and a Thrasher shirt on with a stripped long sleeve under (Can't forget the hydroflask glued to his hand!) And I oop! Sksksk
"What are u looking at? You think my style is weird??? Well I don't care! At least I'm saving the turtles sksksksk!!!"
His Sweedish bf would either cuss me out in Sweedish and say FUCK YOU at the end for insulting his Koreaboo bf (AND IMMA DO IT AGAIN IDGAF)
Tbh I think they got together bc the Sweedish dude found it interesting how 'different' the Koreaboo boy was from general society and wanted to learn more about his style and 'koreanness'/his love for East Asian cultures (Probably just Japan and Korea tbh) God I hate them so much already.
Honestly, his style would look stupid as hell 😥
Homeless princess x Eduard vampire...
Sounds like if Wattpad and Fanfiction.net had a baby. Also, how does homeless crownings officiate?? And ay, that design is pretty solid if I do say so myself. Burger King crowns are the GOAT to any character design 😎 patchwork dresses can be cute too tf
Eduard sounds actually pretty nice. Instead of Ayato I was thinking of Valentine from Monster high bc I remembered Toralies and Clawdeens little sister and their debate on who's the better looking vampire.
"NO, obviously it's is Edweird~" - quoted from Toralie
Pasta Cinderella sister tries poisoning her other sister gone wrong 4k 1080p high quality HD
on blue ray never!
That design sounds scary just thinking about it 😭 Pumpkin head spaghetti hair but also a bad scarecrow? Man these streets be ratchet asf. Also, are they Italian? All this wordplay with pasta and pizza makes me go, "Yep that's Italian. Italian is when remarked worldwide foods." /hj
And you know, I start to love royal characters more when the have ridiculous names instead of actual ones. Ask Me For Directions Arnold from Genshin's summer event was SOOOO funny and lovable (He was a crow statue that had a crush on Mona and it was the cutest thing ever!)
When they have actual names, its boring and I don't wanna suck up to the monarchy so 😑
Thanks for giving me insight on all of you characters renpy anon! It was so fun analyzing their summaries and how they came to be! Lots of reading for literally just waking up, but it kept me busy and I thoroughly enjoyed doing so.

Fratini's Restaurant Pasta & Pizza
According to certain tradition (mostly what I learnt from my mom), to celebrate the new year eve, you must have the certain dishes in your menu: noodles (for longevity), egg (signifying the birth of a new year), milk (no idea why) and cake (celebrate the birth of the new year, I think), and the only thing we can think of that account for all these was western food, so of course, Fratini's Restaurant Pasta & Pizza it was~!
Tumblr media
This be the entrance of the restaurant. Technically Fratini had a lot of branches that even went all the way to Malaysia (in Miri, where I went there for the first time while I was still in Curtin, and also when we needed it as a study for our Human Resource Management course unit that I barely passed), but since we were in Gadong, and I've never done a piece for this, we decided to go to Gadong branch, which is situated along the same block with Centrepoint Hotel, Coffee Zone and Jolly Bee
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Trigger-happy moments, especially for the outdoor dining
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This be the interior of the restaurant. A little cramped and whatnot, and quite cold, and I was cursing and swearing to myself for not bringing my hoodie along since I just can't stand the cold and all, but it's not really entirely unbearable. The design feels almost like Mauri, but just a little bit less classy than it should
Tumblr media
There's an ice-cream parlour there, possibly for the waiters and waitresses to scoop on whenever the customers needed a dessert fix. Looks creamy, but not as cool as the ice-cream I saw in Bakerlyn though
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A few trigger-happy moments on particular areas and decors of the restaurant
Tumblr media
As usual my buddy ordered Coke, that comes with a twist of lemon
Tumblr media
I ordered cafe latte for drinks, to bring in the milk part of the new year menu. I was still recovering, so I can't really afford to drink cold stuff and need something warm for my ill-prone belly. LOL Tastes pretty good, though needs a bit of sugar to counter the bitter coffee taste which they seem to tend to emphasize on despite being called "milk coffee"
Tumblr media
My friend ordered linguine ai frutti di mare, which is flat pasta served with seafood, garlic, fresh herbs and tomato sauce (got that directly from the menu I snuck a picture of, coz I suck at remembering dish names XDDD), though I think I've only tried it once when I was in one of their branches
Tumblr media
This is my order, which the famous fettucini carbonara. It has noodles and egg all in one, so the menu was covered, though I gotta admit, Mauri's carbonara was actually quite cheesier than this, come to think of it
Tumblr media
This time, for dessert (and the cake part of the new year menu), we both decided to try out their chocolate pudding. Unlike the chocolate pudding in Saffron or in Mauri, this was not served with ice cream. Just a hot bowl of melted chocolate pudding sprinkled with icing sugar and a cherry on top. It looks like just a chocolate cake or something, but when you break through and scoop it, the melted pudding just oozes out, giving you that ultimate chocolatey taste, so it's still fine without the ice-cream
Here ya go, my two-cents on Fratini's. A pretty good and recommendable place to be, even though it's not as flavourful as Mauri, but be forewarned, you must feel very rich to go to this place, because the prices are quite dear, much dearer than Mauri

Okay but imagine Stevie [accidentally] interrupting Harry’s zoom interview !! She would literally steal the show
i love this concept SO much :) hope you like!
ALSO: i need ideas for what Harry would want to name his son! send in your ideas, i’d love any input!
stole the show
warnings: none
word count: 1.4k
Stevie knew. You had told her, multiple times. Never go in daddy’s office when his door is closed. This didn’t happen often; Harry usually left everything wide open. He said it helped his creative process, being able to see his favorite girls. He only closed the door when he had an important meeting that couldn’t be interrupted.
So you told her, over and over again. You were very patient with her. She was only two, after all. You reminded her every time you saw Harry closing his door, just in case.
Of course, two year olds often have a very selective memory. There had been more than one occasion when you had scooped her up just before she turned the doorknob. You wondered if she did it on purpose to get a reaction out of you, or if she really just wanted to see her dad. It was probably a mixture of both. It wasn’t like Harry deprived her of attention. She got to be with him almost all the time, playing and giggling and singing. Apparently, she didn’t like when he wasn’t immediately at her disposal. To be fair, neither did you, so you had a guess where she got that from.
Still, she was usually pretty good about it. You usually managed to keep her distracted with other things while Harry was locked away, doing interviews and whatnot. For some reason, though, she was extra fidgety today.
“Where’s daddy?” She whined, pulling on your shirt.
“He’s working, bug,” you leaned down to pick her up, settling her on your hip. “He can come play soon.”
“Play now,” she pouted.
“He can’t play right now, but he can soon! Why don’t we make some pizza for supper while we wait?”
“No,” she said stubbornly. “I want daddy.”
“I know, but he can’t come out right now,” you said, trying to think of some way to entertain her.
“How bout this, bug? Let’s make some Mac ‘n Cheese!”
She kept the stubborn pout on her face, not wanting to give in too soon.
“Ok,” she finally agreed, squirming for you to let her down.
“Can you find the strainer for me?”
She nodded excitedly, running to the kitchen. You followed quickly when you heard her clanging things around, not wanting her to make too big of a mess.
“Here it is!” She held the strainer up above her head, looking very proud of herself.
“Thank you very much!”
“You’re welcome very much!”
You laughed, lifting her up to set the bowl in the sink. She climbed up on her step stool, turning on the tap to fill the pot with water and spilling it all over herself in the process.
“Oh, lovely,” you sighed, looking at her now soaking shirt. “How about we go get a new shirt so you don’t have to wear that wet one?”
“The noodles!” She protested, wanting to help with every step.
“You can help with the noodles, I promise. We have to wait for the water to boil first, remember? We have to see the bubbles before the noodles can go in.”
“First the bubbles, then the noodles,” she nodded.
“Exactly! I bet if we go really fast, we can get you a dry shirt before the bubbles come.”
“No, I do it by myself,” she said, crossing her arms.
“Ok, you can do it by yourself,” you agreed. “If you need help-“
“I don’t!” She called, already running across the room.
You smiled, shaking your head at how independent she was.
-----
Harry nodded, leaning toward his laptop as the interviewer spoke.
“Yeah, so I think that was one of the biggest things about this. We were so focused about getting everything-“ he cut himself off when he heard Stevie’s footsteps pattering quickly down the hall. He smiled to himself before continuing. “Uh, sorry, getting everything perfect. We actually scrapped quite a lot of material, just because I kind of had that “it’s good, but it could be better” feeling. My team’s probably really annoyed with me right now,” he laughed.
“No, they would never!” The interviewer, John, said in mock surprise, laughing with him. “What do you think was your favorite part of this process?”
“Honestly? I really loved showing it to Y/N and my daughter. Their reactions are always so beautiful to see, even though Stevie usually has no idea what’s going on,” he laughed. “She’s excited because I’m excited.”
“Aw, and that’s always so precious to see! What did Y/N think?”
“She was really great about it, as always. She’s been incredibly supportive through this entire experience, even though it’s been a little bit hard for us, with raising a two year old and all. She’s truly too good to me,” he smiled, blushing a bit. “I just really love having something I’m so proud of, that I’ve put so much work into, and getting to show that to two people I love. It’s an incredible experience.”
“I’m sure! So what would you say was the most difficult part of this whole thing?”
“Oh boy,” he said, sighing jokingly. “How much time do you have?” He laughed, running a hand through his hair. “But more seriously, I think the worst thing for me was having to spend so much time away from my family. There are days when nothing is working, stuff just isn’t flowing, and you just want to go home and see the people you love. It’s very frustrating, not being able to be with them whenever you want.”
He looked up again when he heard crashing noises coming from Stevie’s room, but focused his attention back on the screen when John spoke again.
“Speaking of family, how are they doing? Your daughter just had a birthday, didn’t she?”
“Yeah, she did,” he said, beaming. “She’s two now.”
“Oh, and that’s always a fun age!” John said, laughing. “Good luck with that.”
“No, she’s an angel,” Harry said, still smiling. “We’re a little-“
He was interrupted when the door slammed open and his little angel burst into the room. She ran straight to him, not hesitating to jump right into his lap.
“Hello there,” he said, laughing in surprise. “What are you doing?”
“I want to play,” she said, whining into his shoulder. “Mommy’s cooking.”
“Well, doesn’t she need help?” Harry said, noticing her shirt was soaked through. Maybe Stevie had done enough helping already.
“No,” she said stubbornly, latching her arms around his neck. “I stay here.”
“Alright then,” he laughed, turning his chair around to face his laptop again. “Sorry for the interruption, I’m back now. And this is Stevie,” he turned her around to sit against him, looking shyly at the interviewer. “Can you say hi, Stevie?”
She smiled, waving her small hand.
“Hi Stevie! It’s nice to meet you!” John said, smiling.
“Hi,” she said in a small voice, tiling her head to look up at Harry. “Daddy, who is that?” she whispered loudly.
“His name is John, love,” he laughed.
“So Stevie, I heard you just turned two?” John asked.
“Yeah!” She said excitedly, warming up to him already. “With balloons!”
“You had balloons? That’s so cool!” He said, instantly matching her energy and striking up a conversation.
-----
It was quiet. Maybe... too quiet. It was never good when a two year old was silent. You started getting worried about what Stevie had gotten into and decided to go find her.
You didn’t find her in her room, meaning she was probably somewhere else in the house, making a huge mess.
“Stevie!” You called. “Where’d you go?”
Then you heard her, chatting excitedly. This wasn’t too strange; she frequently talked to her stuffed animals and dolls like they were real people. You didn’t, however, usually hear someone talking back to her. You sighed when you pinpointed where her voice was coming from.
You turned around, making your way to Harry’s office. You cautiously opened the door, looking in to see Stevie perched on his lap and talking animatedly to his laptop.
“Sorry about that, she slipped away from me,” you said, smiling as you lifted her off of him.
“Not a problem, love, we were having a great time,” he laughed. “Stevie made a new friend!”
“Yeah?” You looked at her. She nodded happily.
“Bye John!” She yelled, waving at the screen as you carried her out of the room.
-----
Harry came up behind you, putting his arms around you as you stirred the pasta in the pot.
“Sorry again she interrupted you, she’s very sneaky,” you laughed.
“Yeah, she totally stole the show,” he said, pressing a kiss to your shoulder. “I’m going to lose my job if she keeps this up.”
“Yeah, totally, I mean, who wants to talk to you when they could have Stevie?”
“Precisely,” he smiled. “I think she’s cuter than me.”
“Hmm, I don’t know. It’s pretty close. I think it’s a tie.”

If you were wondering how the cooking stream is going here’s a summary
Tubbo: Look at the amount of flour on that!
5up: I put so much flour on that bitch it’s insane.
Tubbo: Oh my god... I can’t believe we failed at the pizza hurdle, but we did fancy fish pasta with like soufflé and whatnot... Oh my god, I’m just saying food words now, you’ve panicked me.

Afterglow (A Bucky Barnes AU fan fiction) - Chapter 7
Tumblr media
Afterglow chapters
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x reader
CHAPTER SEVEN
Lunch with Bucky was spent in a little Italian place right across the bar. It belonged to a seventy-year old Italian immigrant named Marco who invested in it with nothing but his savings when he first came to New York. Fifteen years later, his little dining place stood still through its ups and downs. In fact, business was getting stronger for Marco ever since the bar opened.  His target customers expanded from fellow immigrants to little boys who played soccer in the little league and finally to drunk bastards who wanted pizza in the middle of the night. He also started putting up a 24/7 sign and hired more people to work for him. Marco gave me a sympathetic smile as soon as he passed by you with a bottle of hot sauce he knew you liked.
"Where's the hunk?" His Italian accent never faltered. "Ditched ya?"
Lunch with Bucky was also cut short when he received a phone call from Leonard about an emergency in the White Wolf. "It's Leonard." He said. "Gotta get back to the hotel." Then you slipped in a tiny question, seeing a different phone on his hand: "Is that your phone? I thought you left it in your penthouse, that's why you crashed into our apartment."
"I borrowed Peter's old phone when we did our little fiancè act back there. Then I got my phone back after I ate all that food."
"And here you are again eating."
"Not anymore, I'm not." He chuckled, getting up from the chair and throwing his napkin gently on the table. "I gotta go, doll. Duty awaits. I'll see you around."
You were left there with two plates of pasta, one large pizza, and a hundred dollar bill that covered the whole meal. "Plus tip." Bucky then fled and hailed a cab. He gave you one last look and a small salute before getting inside then off he went.
"He had some business work to do." You replied. "Can I take these to-go please? Oh, and here." You handed Marco the hundred dollar bill and said something you have never said (not once!) in your entire life. "Keep the change."
Marco grinned, took the money and placed it inside his apron pockets. "Any chance you got four more of this?"
"Hey, that's with the tip already!" You playfully rolled your eyes and leaned back on the chair. "And you should ask the hunk that. Not me."
He started taking some plates off the table, his back a bit hunched as he did. "Who was that anyway? Finally replaced that old boyfriend of yours?"
"Old boyfriend? Marco, I'm single. Oh no, you're not at that stage now, are you?" It was meant as a joke but you did genuinely care for the old guy.
Marco stopped from picking up the plates and stood taller. "What ya talking 'bout?"
"You know," you whispered, "the forgetful stage."
"Oh fuck off." You earned a glare from him then continued to pick up the plates from the table before wiping it clean. A mother covered her three-year-old daughter's ears, with pasta noodles falling out of her mouth. She said something to Marco but was overpowered by his voice. A man in his 40's kept looking at you and Marco, probably wondering what the fuss was all about. "I'm still young!" He added. "And you know who I'm talking about. The guy you live with."
You scoffed and gave him an unbelievable look as you watched him clean, avoiding the stares people were starting to give. "That's not my boyfriend, Marco." You whispered.
"What? He's not?"
"He's my roommate." You took a sip of your bottled water. "We're roommates, nothing more."
"Well, good. I like the hunk better than that skinny roommate of yours." He bellowed laughing, holding his big, round belly. His voice echoed against the walls.
"Wait, so you thought Peter was my boyfriend this whole time?" You genuinely asked.
"Well, yeah! You were always together eating and whatnot. What was I supposed to think?"
You were supposed to argue with Marco that it was okay to be friends with someone of the opposite gender: to platonically hangout twenty-four seven, have pizza nights, movie nights, and all the things couples do but in a very platonic way. But Marco was an old man who stubbornly clung to his ancient beliefs. You didn't want to light a fire you and him. Besides, you were still on your way to earning his trust and getting a friend discount.
"Unbelievable." You mumbled, hoping he wouldn't hear it. Despite his old age, Marco still had the ears of a twenty-year old.
"You and me, both. All the time I was thinking to myself, you could do better!"
Oh, God. I know where this is going. You thought. "I'm not letting you set me up with your son, Marco."
"Why not?"
"Because he's old." You groaned, wishing he would just clear the table and just get it on with your to-go Italian food.
"So was that hunk you were with!"
Tired of all the back and forths, you sighed. "Marco, can't you just give me the food? I still have work to do."
"Yeah, yeah, aight. Don't nag me." Marco grunted. "You sounding like my ex-wife back there." His voice faded once he went back towards the counter, and started placing the food in the little to-go boxes.
Your phone on the table lit up. A text message from Peter asking you if you were still with Bucky. You replied back instantly that he went back to the White Wolf. You received no more messages from him after that.
A few seconds later, a figure approached and stopped right in front of you. You looked up and saw one of your friends who also did photography back in college.
"Wanda?"
Wanda flashed you that sweet smile of hers that reminded you of chocolates, rainbows, and unicorns.
"Aria! Wow, it's so nice to see you!" She crouched down to envelope you in a warm hug, then sat across from you, where Bucky was sitting a few minutes ago. She placed her small, shiny purse right on the table, her painted nails never letting it go. "I was just walking down the street and then saw you from the window. How are you? It's been quite long, huh?"
"Yeah, I'm doing good." Wanda could be such a Chatty Cathy. She was the kind of person that never let silence take over a room. If you memory served you right, you haven't seen each other since you graduated from college. She was a year younger than you and even though you stayed in New York the whole time, you never bothered to visit her at NYU Tisch during her last year. "How about you? How have you been doing?"
"I'm doing real good too! I actually set up my own studio a year ago in Manhattan after being a wedding photographer. I now photograph models, sometimes I do photowalks. I also hold photo exhibits from time to time." Unlike you, Wanda chose to follow her passion and majored in Photography and Imaging. "It's been really fun!"
Albeit feeling happy for her, a pang of jealousy struck you. You tried your best to ignore it and said: "That's great, Wanda. I'm so proud of you. You've come a long way since then."
She grinned. "I did, yeah. How about you? How's the business thing?"
You pursed your lips. "I'm actually juggling two jobs right now. I bartend at that bar over there," you pointed across the street, "and I also started a photography business." You continued. "I just do product photos for small businesses."
It was nothing big like Wanda's. Actually, it wasn't anything compared to her Manhattan studio and photowalks and photo exhibits. Nothing at all.
Her jaw dropped. Eyes wide. "Bartending? Wow! That doesn't sound like you at all!"
You chuckled then shook your head. "Who would've thought, huh? But it's pretty convenient and it pays half of my rent."
"You're still living with the Parker guy?"
"Actually, yes I still am." You replied. "But it's just the two of us now."
"Nothing more comforting than a familiar face around, huh?" She answered. "Oh hey, it's great you're still doing photography. I thought it was just a hobby of yours."
"I fell in love with it more during college, you know that."
Wanda just nodded her head in response then looked at her wrist watch. "Right. Well, this has been fun but I have a meeting to go to at some company who wants to talk about collaborations and stuff. You know the drill." She stood up from the chair, its legs scraping the wooden floors. "It was really nice to see you, Aria. I hope we can see each other again soon."
You mirrored her and stood up, reaching for a hug. "It's nice to see you too, Wanda." You let her go, then rambled. "I'm just in the bar if you ever wanna grab a drink or maybe coffee or lunch or anything, really."
"I will." She replied.
Before walking out, Wanda placed her hand on your shoulder, matched with a tight-lipped smile; like the gesture of someone towards a family member at one's funeral. Funnily enough, it was kind of appropriate. Your career in photography might as well be dead. You haven't received any work inquiry in over a month now, and some businesses have been rejecting your photography services. It was the classic "it's not you, it's me" scenario. They just found someone better.
With Wanda out of sight, you drained your thoughts and continued to stare at the moving cars on the streets. Getting you out of your trance was Marco tapping you on the shoulder.
"You alright there, kid?" He asked while handing you a plastic bag full.
"Yeah, sorry." You answered. "Just got distracted." You relieved him of your to-go food, grabbing it from his calloused hands.
"I know that kid you were talking to."
"Wanda?"
"Yeah, yeah. She photographed my son's wedding."
"The one you kept setting me up with?"
"Not that old bastard." He answered, frowning. "The younger, hotter one. With all the cheekbones and the eyes. Got them from me." Marco looked like a taller Danny DeVito. You doubted this "younger, hotter one" of his looked anything like Marco. "She also photographed my daughter's wedding."
"Jesus. How many children do you have?"
"Five." He chuckled. "I got some great swimmers."
You made a guttural sound and rolled your eyes. "Oh, God. Did not need to know that. Anyway, I gotta go. See you around, Marco." With that, you started to walk out and headed straight to the apartment.
There was nothing much to do once you got in the apartment besides putting the leftovers inside the fridge. The bar usually opened at four in the afternoon for happy hour so you took a short nap and was able to clear you head of all the things that happened overnight.
You woke up at about three in the afternoon and headed down the bar. By the time you got there, Nick was already inside, arranging the tables and chairs that were turned upside down.
"Hey, you got in early today." You greeted him as you approached the bar counter.
Nick looked up, hands still wrapped around a table. "Yeah well, I can't let you be employee of the month every single time."
"Living right above the bar does have some of its perks." You chuckled, grabbing an apron. "Need help with those?"
He answered no but his actions said otherwise. You jogged towards him and lifted the other side of the table, placing it on the floor without making much of a sound. You walked towards the other tables then started lifting one, praying to God you won't let it slip away from your arms but of course, you still had no luck on your side. Once Nick asked you that one question ("Do you want to go on a date with me?") you didn't want to hear, you dropped the table on your right foot. Bam! You stifled the sound of pain that itched your throat. Nick shuffled towards me and asked me if you were okay. You gently shrugged him off, telling him that it was nothing and that you you recently had a concussion less than twenty-four hours ago, this was absolutely nothing.
"You sure?" He asked. His hand gripped my waist, trying to maintain my balance.
"Yes, Nick." You straightened up and tried to stretch your right foot, checking if it was sprained or not. Thankfully, it was still good for running.
He let go of you then scratched the back of his head. His eyes focused on the wooden floors. "That was not a good time to ask that."
"I don't think there was ever a good time to ask that."
"Is that a no?"
Your mind recalled the conversation you and Peter had at the elevator: "Never dip the pen in company ink, right?"
Yes, it was easier to let him down easy with no one else around. You could also tell him you'll think about it but either way, you'd still be spending the remaining minutes in the bar with the fleeting awkwardness hanging in the air. But the silence was becoming heavier each second you weren't saying anything so you just shut your mind for a second and said: "Is it okay if I think about it first?"
"Yes. Sure. Of course!" He replied, finally meeting your eyes. "Just let me know. You know where to find me. Just here in the bar. 'Cause I work here."
"I know, Nick." You snickered. "I work here too."
"Right, right." He shook his head. "I'm just gonna..." He trailed off, pointing to the tables with his thumb.
"Yeah, I'll just..." You didn't know where else to go so you just made up an excuse. "I'll just be in the kitchen."
"What are you gonna do there?"
"I think there are still some shipments there? From earlier?" Lie. "I'll take care of them. Don't worry."
"O-okay."
And with that, you left Nick arranging tables and chairs while you headed towards the kitchen, sat on the floor and scrolled through different social media platforms before one of the cooks entered the kitchen. You ignored the befuddled look she gave you. It was the sign to  stand up and walk out of the kitchen. So you did.
Once Peter walked in the doors, you grabbed a bottle of beer and removed the bottle cap. You greeted him with a smile and placed his drink on the counter. "Hey, Parker. Guess what?"
"Hey, y/n." He smiled, sitting on the stool and placing his briefcase on the counter. He immediately grabbed the beer bottle and took his first sip. "Nick finally asked you out?"
"You don't know the rules to the 'Guess What' game, do you?"
"Oh, I know the rules." He replied. "I'm just a born rule breaker. So," he stared at his beer bottle scratching the sticker with his thumbs, "did you say yes?"
"I told him I'll think about it."
"And you've thought about it?"
"Yes."
"...and?"
"I'm gonna tell him no." You walked away from Peter, pouring beer from the beer tap into a beer mug for one of the regulars who just walked in. "It's kind of hard to work with someone you're dating or you've dated. I mean, you learned that the hard way, right?"
Peter groaned, reminiscing the time he dated his co-worker, a certain Denise, for six months, stringing her along for a couple more before dumping her. He couldn't even begin to describe how much hatred Denise had for Peter. One night, you found Peter on the rooftop, writing his resignation letter. Of course, you had to throw it after sneaking up on him behind his back. Apparently, Peter couldn't take any more of Denise's death stares during meetings, lunch breaks, and any time she was around Peter. Luckily, Denise got fired the next day for some legal dispute. Peter drank his whole night away that very day and you ended up taking care of him. The next day, you told him everything he'd done that night except one thing: trying to kiss you.
"Hey," Peter hissed, "here he comes. Good luck." He swiftly left his briefcase and beer bottle on the counter, hurrying his way towards the toilet.
You gave Nick a small smile once he opened the counter pass-through. "Nick. Hi."
"Y/n. Hi!"
"So, about the thing earlier -- "
"Can I get a beer?" Interrupted a man on your left side but you couldn't care less. You put up your hand in front of his face. "In a mug!"
Before you could even say "I'm sorry, Nick, but I can't date a co-worker. It's just not right. But you're great. Not just with me" the man shooed your hand away. "Hey! The hell is this?"
You groaned. "You'll get your beer in just one moment, okay?"
The man huffed and left the counter then sat on a nearby table, flipping me off. You rolled your eyes at him and brought your attention back to Nick who was still waiting for your answer. While halfway through your short speech you have been preparing in your head, he interrupted with a: "Yeah, yeah, I know where this is going. It's fine. It's alright. I understand. I'll let you get back to work."
He started turning around but you immediately stopped him. "So this is okay, right? No weird tension between us, or something like that?"
He nodded his head and sent you a warm smile. "Yeah, everything's good. At least I tried, y'know. I'll, uh, see ya around 'cause y'know -- "
"You work here, yeah."
"Yeah. Well... " And with that, he treaded away towards the pass-through and approached some newcomers.
The man from earlier was still staring at you so you went ahead and opened the beer tap. Before the liquid even reached the top of the mug, a hand laid on top of the tap handle and turned the tap off.
"Now," Bucky's voice rang inside your ears, "how about you make me a mean drink, doll?"

actually dream is right. what the fuck is curry? curry isn’t even really a thing it’s literally a word made up by british people to describe all indian food bc they couldn’t be bothered to figure out what the different foods were called so they just slapped a general label on it 🙄
no cause if someone’s like ‘do u want curry’ i have to know every single ingredient used and the method in which it was prepared to knwo if i like it or not. like w pizza it’s just the toppings but w curry ? like fish and chicken r different and then u get into the complexities and whatnot like Why would u just generalise and call everything curry it’s like if i called every non-rice/non-pasta carbohydrate bread it’s just silly

So, I’m having a dilemma atm.
It’s about cheese.
I love cheese. Cheese is amazing. Cheese goes with everything.
Salad. Pizza. Parmi. Wine. Sandwiches. Chips. Kebabs. Pasta. Port. HSP. Wraps.
Heck, it goes great on it’s own, especially in that lawless and timeless stretch of the year between Christmas and New Years Eve, when I buy all that on special cheese they have, in numerous varieties, and sit and cut it with a knife, and eat it like a goblin on my bed. Or in my bed.
My dilemma, is that it appears that my body no longer likes cheese.
Every time I’ve had cheese recently, my body reacts like I gave it gluten (I’m intolerant), and I’m wondering if I’m becoming intolerant to the amazing substance known as cheese.
But! It’s been melted cheese. Maybe it’s the melted form?
It’s not the lactose, or I’d react to every coffee. I need to try it non melted, but... what if I can no longer have cheese?
And therein is the rest of my dilemma.
What would my life be like, without the glory of cheese?
Of course, it has to come now, when my anxiety and depression have teamed up to make my life difficult, with a pervading sense of constant dread at leaving my house, paired with panic when I do, and a mental lethargy when I don’t, paired with a lack of appetite.
I dunno.
Maybe it’s the fact I’m barely eating, then suddenly giving my body grease.
Or maybe it’s my body denying me another thing.
Thanks for coming to my vent session, now back to my regular scheduled Star Trek and whatnot.

Snack suggestion anon again👋 Thanks, I'm really enjoying Italy so far ☺ I'm staying near San Marino & Remini, so North-East?
Omg you're in Rimini?
So first and foremost, you need eat your body weight in piadina. All kinds. All tipes of fillings. My fave is with rucola, mozzarella and prosciutto crudo. Delish
Since you're in a coastal town, you definitely need to try a grigliata di pesce - honestly, you'll never have fish as good 🤤 even fried fish, you can even buy it and eat it while walking around
Tumblr media
For sweet stuff, literally walk into any pasticceria and go to town lmao. There's literally nothing that I wouldn't eat from there 😂
You can always go for classics of pizza, pasta (bolognese sauce, you're in Emilia Romagna after all lol) and whatnot. Ask the people locally, they'll be able to point out the best spots :)
Enjoy it, you'll love it there!

I (and I think we all) need recipes! I’m venturing out into the wide world of Kroger today to get groceries. I need meal ideas, McLana!
Ok so some let me give you a somewhat lengthy shopping list and then I can give you recipes with whatever items you end up getting. It’s long because it’s three meals a day for like 3 weeks.
Some of my favorite items to have on hand that I can use for a lot of different recipes include the following broken down by section (of course).
Produce
Jalepenos
Bell peppers (the little ones tend to last longer)
Slaw mix (I like the Dole Sweet Kale Chopped Salad mix or broccoli slaw)
Garlic
Parsley
Carrots (I like baby carrots or carrot chips)
Grape Tomatoes
Avocados
Limes (for guacamole and drinks)
Bananas
Apples
Blueberries
Sweet Potatoes
Regular Potatos
Onions
Weird Deli/Bakery/Fancy Cheese Section
Hummus
Salsa
Pretzel chips
Take and Bake Bread (in a little freezer by bakery)
Nann Bread (for nann pizzas)
Bread Aisle
English Muffins (pizzas, breakfast sandwiches, toasted and topped with peanut butter and banana or cream cheese)
Hot Dog Buns
Sliced Bread
Tortillas
Meat
Lunch Meat (unfortunately not from the deli counter because it has to last longer)
Your Favorite Hot Dogs or Brats
Chicken
Bacon
Ground meat
Cheese & Dairy
Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese
Shredded Mozzarella
Shredded sharp or extra sharp cheddar (if you want my Mac and cheese recipe)
Grated Parmesan (get 2 if making Alfredo or Palamino)
Sliced cheese of your choice to go on sandwiches
Milk of your choice (I usually get organic because it lasts longer)
Half & Half (if you want to make Alfredo or Palamino sauce)
Sour Cream
Butter
Eggs
Pilsbury doughs! (I usually get cinnamon rolls, break and bake cookie dough, biscuits, and pizza dough if they have it)
Cream Cheese
Orange Juice (grab some Champagne for mimosas if you don’t have it)
Won Ton wrappers (if you’re feeling bold)
Dry Goods
Black Beans (I get cans and I make sure it’s unsalted or organic to keep the sodium down)
Tomato Soup
Reduced Sodium Taco Seasoning
Taco Sauce (I like the Taco Bell Hot Sauce)
Pasta! (Spaghetti is really versatile, but get a few kinds)
Pasta Sauce (the Simply Ragu Marinara with no sugar and whatnot is actually a good base to add other flavors into)
Box macaroni and cheese (no shame in this game)
Ramen noodles
Condiments of your choice (ketchup, mustard, relish, bbq, siracha, soy)
Panda Express Orange Sauce (these are really tasty and make stir frys hella easy)
Panda Express Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce
Whole unsalted cashews
Microwave popcorn
Chips of your choice
Tortilla chips (nachos or just dipping)
Peanut Butter
Other snacks you like (cookies, crackers, whatever)
Olive Oil
Vegetable Oil
Cooking Spay (Pam or store brand is fine)
Sugar (if you don’t have some at home)
Cereal
Oats (I go for the quick oats in a big tub because I like oatmeal and making muffins with it)
If you want to bake
Flour
Active Yeast
Baking Powder
Baking Soda
Brown Sugar
Normal Sugar
Vanilla Extract

What was the filling in the last doughnut you ate?   >> I don't eat doughnuts with filling. <<< Same. Not a fan.
Do you remember what you had for dinner on Saturday evening?   I had pizza.
When was the last time you bought a new pair of shoes? What kind/colour?   The last new pair I got was a pair of red Adidas for Christmas from my dad.
Do you own any items of clothing that you've never worn?   Yes.
When you shop for new clothes, do you ask anyone else for an opinion?   No. I pick out what I like and don’t really care what anyone else thinks to be honest lol. I miiiight ask if I’m debating between something, but I really just tend to do my own thing.
What was the last thing that you considered buying, but chose not to?  A few things from Hot Topic when I was doing some online shopping the other day.
Who was the last person you were required to buy a gift for? And what did you choose?   I’m not required to buy a gift for anyone, but the last gift I chose to get someone recently was a shirt my brother wanted.
Have you ever accidentally bought someone a gift that they already had?   Yeah.
Can you recall the last time you bought flowers for someone? What kind?   Honestly... I don’t think I’ve ever bought flowers for someone.
And when was the last time someone sent flowers to you? What kind? No one has ever sent me flowers, but my dad bought me some a few months ago cause I was going through a rough time and he thought I’d like them cause of the cute smily face pot they came in.
Are you a keen reader? If so, what books are you planning to read soon?   I’m currently reading, “Autumn’s Risk” by Mary Stone, which is the 6th book in a series.
How many books do you think you own? Just take a rough guess.   Uhh, maybe 50. Actual books, anyway. My Kindle library has way more.
Are there any books that you own more than one copy of?   No.
Lipstick, lip gloss, or neither?   Neither.
What brand of mascara do you use, if any?   I typically stuck with Maybelline.
What was the last minor disappointment that you experienced?   I wanted penne pasta for lunch, but they didn’t have the penne noodles and used tortellini instead. I’m very particular about my food and certain foods are easier to eat because of the texture and shape and whatnot and I like penne better, so yeah I was disappointed.
Do you have loyalty cards for any of your favourite stores? Which one(s)?   Yeah, like Hot Topic, Boxlunch, Kohl’s, Target, Bath & Body Works...
What scent does your hand sanitizing gel have?   I have several different ones. I bought a few autumnal ones and a beachy scented one from Bath & Body Works and I also have another beachy one I got from Walmart. Plus, I have a few of the unscented regular hand sanitzers as well.
What does your favourite mask look like, if you have a favourite?   My favorite one is my Baby Yoda mask.
Do you remember what you had for lunch last Sunday?   My leftover pizza.
Is there a bottle anywhere close to you? What does it contain?   Yeah, a bottle of water.
As a child, what was a trait or habit you had that annoyed your parents?   I don’t know.
What was the last TV series that you watched for the first time? And what did you think of it?   >> Loki. I love it. <<<  Yesss, Loki was awesome. For me, the most recent has been American Horror Stories.
Tell me about something you did within the last week, that brought you joy. Wednesday my mom and I went out to breakfast at this cute 50s themed diner and then went to go see The Suicide Squad. The breakfast was really good and some kind stranger paid for our bill, which I’ve never had happen before, so that was really sweet and cool. My mom and I weren’t impressed with the movie, though, unfortunately.
