Okay but- have you think about just ONE of Sanji brothers being good? Like, Ichiji. The most perfect son. The future king of Germa. Ichiji, the first prince. Who has emotions just like Sanji (even if he struggles with them unlike the blonde) and never, ever punched him before, always intenting to subtly stop Niji and Yonji from beating him up. He wishes he could do more, but he can't now.

Until their mother dies and Judge locks his dear younger brother.

It's like something scream to him that he should get Sanji fucking out of here and leave alongside. And he hears. He saves his dear brother and run away, both, together.

And then, both where rescued by Mihawk and the Warlord!Sanji happens, but with Ichiji too.

Unlike the blonde, he really don't like interacting and prefers to stay hidden/with his parents (mostly Dracule and Croc). He gets surprised when the news about Portgas D. "Fire Fist" Ace being Sanji's boyfriend comes out during Marineford, but he helps stop the execution.

God, anon, this is fucking gold I love it. Holy shit. I love your brain. It got out of hand and like Ichiji is too important for it to be just glanced over.

Ichiji who just can't wrap his head around why they're different but knows he needs to protect Sanji and save him. He may be the Crown Prince, superseding his older sister for whatever awful reason and doesn't understand his emotions like Sanji does and Sora tries to help. Ichiji who helps Sanji get patched up when he can't stop Niji and Yonji and Reiju turns her head and scoffs. Then their mother dies.

Then Sanji dies.

Except he's not dead. He's in the dungeon with a helmet and Ichiji feels the pure rage and eventually breaks them both out and breaks the helmet of Sanji who is so much smaller than he should be. They work on the Orbit and when Zeff attacks and saves them on the rock it takes Ichiji much longer to starve than Sanji but he does. They find Zeff who gave his leg for them and their dreams, for Sanji to find the All Blue and Ichiji to be there for his brother and find his way in life.

When Mihawk picks them up he's absorbing the information he is given and suddenly has two kids coming with him to Kuraigana and they're twins but completely different sizes and Ichiji tells him everything about Germa and what's been happening to them. Mihawk is just staring at the brothers in both disbelief and horror and decides he's not going to really let them out of his sight.

The first Warlord meeting they attend with Mihawk, Sanji is still hiding in Mihawk's coat and Ichiji is glaring at them from Mihawk's side with crossed arms. Everyone is looking at the children but the meeting is normal except for the children reading under the table. The meeting takes forever and they fall asleep and Doffy pulls them both out because he's long, not only is he tall he's just long and when he looks at Mihawk because this is some typa shit Doffy has pulled, like he has kids that he acquired somehow.

"Would you believe they're twins?" Mihawk asks dully as Doffy holds them.

"What the fuck did you do to them?" Crocodile asks.

"They came like that." Mihawk sighs.

"Did you buy children?" Boa asks with anger.

"No, I saved them and Redleg from a rock and they came with me." Mihawk responds. The warlords stare at them. "They're also the presumed dead princes of Germa."

"Hawkeye, with all due respect, what were you thinking?" Jinbei asks as he rubs his temples.

"I don't know." Mihawk answers truthfully.

The next meeting the other four have managed to pull together some things maybe the boys will like. Maybe. There's some drawing stuff, more laid back children's books, a book of maps. The boys are staring at them but give their thanks as they settle in for the meeting and afterwards the warlords try to talk to them but Ichiji answers mostly. Sanji hiding behind him, nervous, as the elder talks to the most dangerous pirates of the seas about their dreams.

When Mihawk goes on the job Croc still takes them first. Sanji and Ichiji are enamored with Anna and the bananawanis and they get along great with her and it's actually really nice for them to have a pet, even for a short period of time that isn't trying to kill them and eat them. At some point Ichiji shoots lasers at somebody who got a little too close. No one was hurt but Baroque works is staring at the kid with confusion as Ichiji shrugs them off. When Crocodile asks the only answer he is given is a shrug by Mihawk.

Then Doffy kidnaps them because there's another job and everyone is arguing over the laser kid and his little cook of a brother and who gets to take them. Doffy sees an opportunity and just takes them without anyone noticing and gets them lunch before they leave and he strings along the city making them laugh. Baby 5 and Ichiji love sparring and Sanji is allowed in the kitchen at his pleasure. When Doffy is holding the three of them to put to bed he can feel a weird feeling in his chest and he doesn't like it. He killed his brother he doesn't want to kill them too.

While Jinbei has them he teaches them about meditation and learns a lot about them because he is much calmer than the previous warlords. He calmly takes Ichiji's worry and agression as he trains them. Ichiji is fiercely protective because of their past. Jinbei simply acknowledges this and says he does need to let Sanji move forward, for both of them to be their own person. Sanji says he should find his own dream and as much as he loves Ichiji his life shouldn't revolve around protecting him. Their mother would have wanted him to be free too and if he's tied to Sanji that isn't freedom. Ichiji thinks a lot about that and decides he's still going to protect Sanji or will beat up whoever beats Sanji up. Jinbei laughs full bellied and loud and says that's a good start and asks if there's anything he likes to do. Turns out Ichiji has been getting a lot of use out of the drawing supplies and Jinbei nods. Of course the brothers have picked artistic talents of their own, similar yet distinct enough to be their own.

When Boa gets them she's going to treat them like the little princes they were except they don't really have clothes for boys there. So they're put in dresses and extra flowy pants and shirts. Boa smiling and taking care of them as they adjust to being royalty where it's not a fight to death or being on edge that they're going to be attacked. Boa and her sisters explain that most royal systems are not like Germa. They find they like the styles of the shirts and pants and dresses better than a lot of things they've worn and they have the ability to show their differences because they've mostly just been dressed in the same type of training clothes. So to be able to not be in training clothes or numbered like in Germa is huge to them and Ichiji runs around with Sanji on his back and they're laughing on the beaches of Amazon Lily and Boa smiles as she puts their joy into her mind forever.

They grow up well loved and doing what they love. Perona fully adopts them as her baby brothers and dolls them up. She's four years older than them and takes them out for the boring parts of warlord meetings/parent hand overs. She is the cool goth older sister who absolutely buys them cigarettes. She, Baby 5, and Ichiji have also somehow formed a makeshift gang that follows Sanji much to his displeasure but it's so fucking funny for laser beams to fry a Marine's cap when they're getting a little too close to Sanji. Or when Sanji is working a waiter or dishwasher or whoever. No matter what the parents say.

Except they miss when Sanji sets off and Ichiji pouts on Kuraigana for months. Sanji doesn't call or write and his poster is fucking awful. When he and Mihawk go to Ace's execution after Perona and Zoro arrive and Ichiji avoids him so that he doesn't wig the swordsman out. During the war his transponder goes off from Mihawk.

"Fire Fist is dating Sanji." Is all that's said so Ichiji joins the fray with his laser eyes. They save Ace and Luffy get them out. He goes with Crocodile after the war. Eventually on Karai Bari when the Strawhats and Ace, newly a part of the crew, show up. Ace and Luffy point at Ichiji and say that he's the red Sanji from Marineford.

"So you guys got Dad arrested, and Mama is dealing with the whole Navy thing by herself and Pops is on your crew?" Ichiji asks Sanji.

"On top of waging war against two emperors which one is dead, and the other is just...fucked up, I guess." Sanji nods.

"You have anything cool now?" Ichiji asks.

"I can sky walk and set myself on fire." Sanji nods.

"Fucking shit if Boa sends her damn snake on us, I'm feeding it to Anna." Crocodile grouses.

"There are much bigger things to deal with." Mihawk assures Crocodile. "For example, Fire Fist needs a proper shovel talk and I'm leaving that up to you both." Mihawk says he leaves.

"Oh right." Ichiji grins as Ace looks at Sanji.

"He helped me escape Tottoland, he doesn't need a shovel talk!" Sanji defends.

"Wrong." Crocodile and Ichiji retort as Sanji sighs and everyone starts asking who the fuck raised them.

One Piece Tattoo Headcanons

I think about tattoo headcanons so often so… have a bunch below the cut. Specifically these are for my favorites but I will always happily do more

Ace:

Other than his actual tattoos, I think he would get little ones for those he cares about. A spade for the Spades, a whale for Pops, and three sake cups for himself, Sabo, and Luffy. I also don’t think he would cover up the scar from… you know when

Sabo:

Matching sake cups that Ace has, but he also has one that says ASL with the A crossed out to match Ace’s tattoo. It’s in the same spot too.

Kid:

Kid has a giant back piece of the Victoria Punk’s figure head with a bunch of gears and some kind of water color style red background to match his coat.

Law:

This man is covered in tattoos already so it’s hard to find a place. But I think he would get something resembling the white led spots on his ankle… for Lamy.

Ichiji:

Another man who also… already has a tattoo. But Ichiji has a giant back piece of a Phoenix, I think it matches the Sparking Red abilities. Also on his wrist is something for Sora, all the siblings have this.

Vivi:

Vivi my dearest. She has a hidden Strawhat jolly roger somewhere, probably her ankle. I can also see her getting a piece across her shoulders that resembles the horizon of Alabasta.

Robin:

Robin probably wouldn’t get many. But I can see her getting something that’s written in Poneglyph but translates to something like “Death is forever :)”

Killer:

Killer has a much much smaller tattoo of the Victoria Punk’s figure head on his bicep. But he also has that splash of red Kid has.

X Drake:

X Drake also already has a tattoo… I think??? But I can see him getting little scale tattoos all over to match his animal form.

Nami:

Last but not least is Nami <3. Giant and gorgeous stained glass piece of an orange orchard on her back.

Ichiji can get on Ace's nerves very easily, so it's only natural that he ends up literally on fire because of this. The fire doesn't hurt Ichiji and he decides to make him more nervous to see how much Ace can burn. Or maybe Ichiji just wants to start a fire, no one knows.

1. I don't usually accept requests, because I can only write if I have my own inspiration. So, DON'T rush me or keep demanding something from me (please, I lovely kindly ask). But my question box is open for any ideas.

2. Please don't ask me for disgusting themed stories. I do NSFW, but as long as it doesn't involve some gross stuff I don't even need to talk about (I'm not talking about NCS or anything like that, but about really gross stuff).

3. Don't get your hopes up on character x character stories written by me. If there are any, they will be rare exceptions, as I'm generally not a big fan of this type of writing (except in some VERY specific cases). And I can probably only write that kind with Nico Robin.

4. I can't write (which includes mostly NSFW) about these characters: Franky, Brook, Jinbe, Tony Tony Chopper, Trebol, Señor Pink, Buffalo, Shiryu, and countless other characters, most of which in this extensive list include a few minor characters or extras.

5. Definitely NOT (for now): Franky, Brook, Jinbe, Tony Tony Chopper, Trebol, Señor Pink, Buffalo, Shiryu, Machvise, Lucky Roux, etc...

6. I kindly ask you not to ask me for fanfics Frobin (Franky + Robin) or Jinbin (Jinbe + Robin), I just hate those two ships, but I respect your opinion if you like it. Anyway, I will forever be Zorobin (Zoro + Robin) and Lawbin (Law + Robin), and I can write about them with great pleasure.

DO NOT ask me for!

1. As I already mentioned, stories involving disgusting stuff.

2. Stories involving incest, necrophilia, cannibalism, cruelty to animals, and other terrible things like that. Please don't ask me for this!

3. Stories with racist, bigoted, homophobic, xenophobic themes, these terrible things...

4. OOC characters and stories set in the real world. I just manage to write just for the OP world. Of course, I can open exceptions from time to time, but I don't guarantee anything.

5. Fanfics with male!reader or gn!reader (okay, maybe someday I might try it?! but for now it doesn't work, and it's simply bcs I can't write for that type).

6. Stories for non-binary people (I'm sorry, I'm serious, I just can't write for non-binary people). I swear I already tried it, but it was just awful. So, for now, that's my decision.

7. Character x Character stories (I've only managed one so far, with Nico Robin — and she's just the only one I've felt good doing it with).

8. Fanfics with LGBTQIA+ themes (I'm really sorry, but I can't. Especially those involving characters like Zoro, Law, Doflamingo, Rosinante, Eustass Kid, etc... It just doesn't come out of there). But I can do things like that between women (orange/lesbians).

WHAT CAN I DO?

1. Yes, I can mix races and write reader with fishmen, minks or something else.

2. NSFW content (I definitely can and want to, once I have good development in the stories of course).

3. I can also do size kink, I just don't make it if that will be with characters like Whitebeard, Kaido, Blackbeard, Bartholomew Kuma and others like them...

WARNINGS

1. English IS NOT my first language and I'm not fluent in it. Therefore, I write the stories in my native language, and then I translate them with the help of Google Translate. Any spelling errors should be explained by this.

2. My blog is NOT FREE from spoilers, +18 content, dark content and things that might make you feel a little uncomfortable maybe (like angst, NCS, etc...).

3. This blog is focused on One Piece, but I still don't know if I'll gather all my stories from different animes and doramas here, or if I'll create a secondary blog for that.

Now, I'm going to create a “list” of characters and the appropriate colors inserted will define whether or not I can write about them.

Color Green — I definitely CAN write about this character.

Color Red — I definitely CANNOT write about this character. At least not these days.

Color Orange — Maybe I can and maybe I can't write about this character. And it is very likely that there will be regulations for this.

Color Purple — These are my favorites characters to write about.

Color Pink — Just Fluffy.

Hallelujah [Eustass Kid (Law?) x reader]

Author’s note: this is set in the canon universe – just imaginary future, towards the end of One Piece. It's one of the one shots closest to my heart and I want to see how it does on Tumblr, so here it goes.

Word count: 4.54k

War.

One of the biggest wars the world had ever seen. More than the War of the Best, more than the Payback War, more than Wano.

The World Government had captured the Emperor Monkey D. Luffy and his entire crew, sending them to be executed in New Marineford. Something similar happened before, when Portgas D. Ace was sentenced to death.

The Strawhats had many allies.

During their journey, they saved not just a lot of people, but a lot of countries.

They had a shitload of enemies too, though.

Despite some of them being criminals, the WG signed a truce and asked them to join forces in the furious battle to come.

Because they knew what was coming.

The Strawhat Grand Fleet, the Revolutionaries, the Kamabakka Kingdom, the amazons, Germa 66, the samurai, the Surgeon of Death, the Kid pirates, the Minks, what was left of the Whitebeard pirates, and others.

And you.

Just one year before, you would have paled at the mere idea of being caught in such a war. Just one year before, you would have placed yourself on the other side of the frontline.

Yes, the Strawhats had many powerful allies. And it took just a quick glance to know it was going to be a majestic pain in the ass to make them work together.

You just never thought that pain in the ass would have to be you.

"Well, [Y/n],» Killer said softly above your shoulder «I guess it won’t be easy, huh?"

"'Huh' my ass," you grumbled, a thin drop of sweat gliding down your temple.

That hall was a mess.

The Cannibal had started a fight with Ivankov, while Kin’emon was keeping back Cavendish, who looked actually more like some kind of creepy demon at the moment. Nekomamushi was on the verge of attacking Vinsmoke Ichiji for some unfortunate comment, and the two big Boa sisters looked very displeased with Trafalgar Law for unknown reasons. The rest of the Strawhat Grand Fleet was caught in a quarrel among themselves. Only Marco the Phoenix stood calm in a corner, leaning against the wall.

Your Observation haki was well developed, so it was immediately clear how strong all those weirdos were. Honestly, they could kick your ass any day of the week.

That was an awful, awful idea.

"What the hell is this mess?!" your captain (and man) yelled from behind you.

Eustass Kid, not famous for his docile demeanour.

"So thais was your plan, Eustass-ya?"

Law walked over, an annoyed scowl spreading on his face.

"Gathering us all in your lair and assuming we would get along pretty well?"

"Watch your mouth, Trafalgar, or you'll be dead meat by the end of the day."

"Yeah, yeah. And tell me, who is supposed to be the head of this mismatched alliance? You?"

Kid snarled, his murderous intent glowing in his eyes, but he somehow restrained himself. For the time being.

"Not me," he growled "Her."

In an instant, all those terrifying eyes fixed on you.

«Hey,» you muttered in the now quiet hall «Some of you already know me. I’m [Y/n]: member of the Kid Pirates, ex marine, awesome. I hope you’re all doing well.»

The silence that followed was broken by a light chuckle.

«Now, this is getting interesting,» Marco smirked.

The war was savage.

Your strategies overlapped with Sakazuki’s over and over. Someone betrayed you. People died.

As the General of the Strawhat Rescue Alliance, you took responsibility for each one of them. As ex marine, your heart hurt for every enemy killed.

Even when your own nakama were falling, you had to stand strong, be lucid, yell orders in the Den Den Mushi, or everyone was going to be lost.

You had to fight on the main frontline, Sakazuki aiming at you with all he got, far away from your captain, with so many lives depending on you.

You, a simple human being, with nothing special other than sarcasm. And good sniping skills.

The whole time, there was that new fear cutting inside you, that unknown feeling that was also your burning strength.

Eventually, the Strawhats were freed. When Nika joined the battle, the war was won.

Many died on both sides.

The surviving marines fled across the sea and, while the pirates were cheering and celebrating all over the ruins of New Marineford, drunk with their own adrenalin, you couldn’t help but being afraid of the consequences for the rest of the world.

But that was for later.

"Congratulations, general."

The words snapped you our of your trance and you slowly turned to Nico Robin, standing beside you.

"The war is won. You should announce it in that Den Den Mushi and make it official, don’t you think?"

"Huh…?"

Your eyes flicked to the device.

Your voice sounded weak as you pulled it close to your trembling lips.

"To the Strawhat Rescue Alliance, this is your general speaking."

The island grew quieter, or maybe it was just your imagination.

"I announce you…"

You swallowed. Inhaled. Deeply.

"THE WAR IS WON!"

The yells of the alliance exploded all over Marineford, along with the cries.

Yes, you won the war. And comrades had been lost.

You handed the Den Den Mushi to the woman and started to run along the shore.

"Oi, where is she going?!" Bartolomeo barked, nearby "She’s our general! She has to celebrate with us!"

Nico Robin raised her hand to stop him. Sabo approached.

"Take a look around, Rooster-kun," she said "None of the Kid Pirates is here."

"Eustass Kid and Trafalgar Law were fighting on the other side of the island, weren’t day?" Sabo added.

"Shit, that’s true!" Bartolomeo grimaced "They had to take on Ryokugyu and Kizaru."

The blond glanced at the Den Den Mushi.

"They haven’t been replying to any call since half the battle."

Nico Robin was looking at the pirates all around.

"Friends and nakama are still missing for everyone." she frowned "The hardest time has yet to come."

HALLELUJAH

[ Kid, Law, reader ]

I've heard there was a secret chord That David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you?

Your panting was the only sound ringing in your ears as you ran across the ruins.

Maybe they’re okay. Probably their Den Den Mushi just broke. They are okay.

After the Room Law created to move Ryokugyu on the other side of Marineford, the Admirals never came back to help the Marines, after all. But neither did Kid or Law.

You’re okay. Please, be okay.

When the fight was done, you noticed Heat, Wire, and Killer disappearing immediately, rushing towards the opposite shore.

Why haven’t they filled me in already? Those idiots!

It took almost half an hour of running to reach the spot.

You crawled up the boulders that obstructed the beach. Of course a battle among those three destroyed the place. When you finally past them, a straight view of the sandy clearing lay in front of your eyes.

They were there.

And it was immediately clear everything was not okay.

Well, it goes like this:

Law was sitting against a jagged rock, clothes ripped, elbows resting on his knees, chin bent on his chest.

Eustass Kid was a few feet away. He was lying down, his head leaning against a stone. There was too much blood around him.

The fourth

Heat, Wire, and Killer were gathered by his side.

The fifth

And they were crying.

The minor fall, and the major lift

You dashed towards them. You stumbled, scraped your knees, rose and ran again.

The baffled king composing Hallelujah

"KID!"

Your nakama turned to you. Law was startled by your choked voice but he didn’t raise his head.

The shadow of a smile tugged on the corners of Kid’s mouth.

"Birdie."

Hallelujah

You fell on your knees as soon as you reached him, shuffling in the sand to cover the last feet and crumbling on his wounded chest.

You couldn’t swallow.

So much blood.

The wound was…

You didn’t have to look at it to understand. So you didn’t.

Hallelujah

"Kid…!"

"Hey."

His voice was a hoarse whisper. His eyes were closed but he did his best to open them and look at you.

Biting hard your lower lip, you quickly turned to the others.

"What the fuck are you doing standing there?! And you!" your furious eyes darted on Law "You’re supposed to be the best doctor around, aren’t you, Surgeon of Death?! Why aren’t you treating him, for fuck’s sake!"

Heat and Wire didn’t answer, lowering their faces on the ground.

Finally, Law lifted his golden eyes.

"I already did all I could," he said, slowly.

Hallelujah

"Bullshit!"

Killer moved closer.

"[Y/n]…"

"No! No!"

You harshly shook your head, burning tears already lining your cheeks, lips tugged above your teeth.

Kid’s hand managed to move on yours, leaned on his marked chest.

"Calm down, birdie."

"Like hell I’m calming down! Heat, Wire! Bring here that fucking reindeer! If Trafalgar can’t do anything, maybe he will!"

"[Y/n]."

Trembling for the effort, Kid's fingers reached your chin, forcing you to face his weak, yet cheeky smirk.

"Look at me."

Your soaked grimace twitched.

"I’m dying, birdie."

Hallelujah

"No… no…"

More people were gathering on the beach, even if you didn’t register it. It seemed your brain was not processing correctly.

Law shoved his head between his shoulders, gritting his teeth.

"Why, why did we come here?" you sobbed "You don’t even like the Strawhats!"

Kid chuckled and coughed blood.

"Quit it. Regret doesn’t suit you."

Unable to control your despair, you dropped your forehead on his chest and wept.

You felt his hand in your hair.

"C’mon," he said "S... Stop crying. You’re supposed to be the... general... of this mismatched group of lunatics."

"I… I don’t want…" words died in your mouth "It’s not fair!"

Kid's chest rose and lowered under your face.

"I have no regrets."

Swallowing, you lifted your eyes on his peaceful expression, his messy red hair stuck all over it.

"I wanted to live to become the Pirate King, or dying in the process. I never asked for more."

He wiped away the tears from your cheek.

"Yet I had my stupid nakama. And you."

Well your faith was strong, but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya

"Kid please, please, don’t," you begged "I cannot lose you, I can’t."

The others were silently crying behind you. A lot of eyes were fixed on you, probably the most notorious pirates of your age.

You couldn’t care less.

"You made me who I am today. You taught me freedom. This can’t be it."

"It’s... fine. I already spoke to... ugh! K-Killer. He will take care of you."

On the beach, Nami pressed her hands on her mouth to muffle her sobs. Bartolomeo was among the ones weeping openly, along with Ivankov and Momonosuke. Marco and Sabo stood there quietly.

She tied you to her kitchen chair She broke your throne and she cut your hair

In the middle of all that pain, a little part of you whispered in your ear you had to accept it. You had to accept it and say goodbye before it was too late.

His breath had grown slower, his eyes were less focused.

"Kid."

"I love you." he whispered.

Your chest, your guts, everything inside you crumbled.

Killer hurled his mask on the ground and growled his desperation between his teeth.

Law’s knuckles whitened in his grip on his trousers.

You were losing him.

Kid’s amber eyes were looking at nothing, his skin was too pale, his breath almost gone.

He had to know. You had to tell him.

Before it was too late.

"Kid, I’m pregnant."

And from her lips she drew her Hallelujah

His eyes snapped open.

Broken gasps sealed the silence on the beach.

Law’s wide gaze flicked on you.

Hallelujah

Kid’s face was a mask of shock.

"Wha…?"

"I’m pregnant," you repeated, moving closer "I didn’t tell you because I knew you’d forbid me to join the war. Forgive me."

"Are… are you sure…?"

You nodded frantically.

Hallelujah

His signature smirk weakly tugged at his lips.

"So I’m gonna… be a father…"

"Yes! Yes!"

You leaned your forehead against his.

Kid’s amber eyes looked around.

"K-Killer."

"I’m here!"

The blond crawled on his other side, streams of tears running down his cheeks.

"D-Did you hear…?"

"Yes. I will take care of them, Kid. I promise. No one will touch them."

"Good."

Hallelujah

"Maybe your child will be the one finding the One Piece!" you whispered "Maybe they will."

He closed his eyes.

"I'd like that."

"Kid."

"I have to go now."

"Kid!"

You could feel the life slipping away from his body.

Holding back your screams, you gently pressed your lips against his.

"I love you."

Were you breathing? Would you ever be able to breathe again?

"Goodbye, captain."

Trafalgar Law had a troubled life.

His whole hometown was destroyed when he was still a child, all the citizens, including his parents and his little sister, were slaughtered by the Government. Then he was sentenced to death by an incurable disease. He defeated it, but paid the highest price for it: Cora-san’s life.

Yet, he grew strong and resolute.

But baby, I’ve been here before I’ve seen this room, I’ve walked this floor

Still kind of a loner but he had his nakama. And the Strawhats. Even Eustass-ya, his crew, and all the allies.

I used to live alone before I knew ya

He never particularly liked Eustass Kid, or at least that’s what he told himself.

There was something, about that vicious pirate. The way his men looked up to him, the way you looked at him. His inability to surrender, even when there was absolutely no hope.

Law always told himself he was better. He was calmer, smarter, stronger.

Yet no one ever looked at him like you looked at Eustass Kid.

And I’ve seen your flag on the marble arch

He never understood how a woman like you would stick to that man’s side. Or maybe he did, and he lied to himself.

No misunderstandings: Law was proud of who he was. And he knew whom to be grateful to for that.

Yes, his childhood was shit. But he had the luck to be taught and saved by not one, but two father figures.

His biological dad. And Cora-san.

Everything good inside him was their making.

And love is not a victory march

He looked at the scene unfolding in front of his eyes. The despair on your face and the happiness on Eustass’.

“I’m pregnant”

Now that child was meant to grow without a father.

His dad’s voice and Cora-san’s goofy smile flashed in his mind. He closed his fists.

What the hell was he doing? He was supposed to be a doctor! He had freed himself from an incurable disease, how come he was letting Eustass Kid dying in your arms? His comrades were calling his name. He had so many things to live for.

Too many things.

And Law knew what he had to do.

It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah

He pulled himself on his feet, glancing around.

No Heart Pirates there. Good.

Hallelujah

"[Y/n]-ya, Killer-ya," he called, walking over "Move aside."

He almost wavered when Killer lifted his blazing eyes on him. He never saw his face before.

"What the fuck do you want, Trafalgar?" Killer hissed.

"To save your captain."

Your wrecked gaze rose too.

"What…? But you said…"

"There’s no time," he urged, hinting at Kid, who was not unconscious "Get off and let me do it already!"

Too numb and confused to object, you shakily stood on your feet. Heat and Wire sustained you and helped you moving back.

"It will hurt. He will scream. I didn’t think he could survive this." Law explained, dropping his jacket. His eyes flicked on yours "But maybe now he has a reason to live no matter what."

Hallelujah

"I can help!" Chopper chimed, running ahead.

"Stay back!" Law barked, and the little reindeer stopped.

The Surgeon of Death pulled out his Nodachi.

"I need to create a big Room for this. No one can be inside." he looked at the little crowd "Everyone step back."

"I have a bad feeling about this," Sabo murmured, but he did as Law asked.

Killer gently pulled you back.

"Come, [Y/n]."

You looked at Kid one last time, then turned to the Surgeon. He flashed his confident smirk at you but there was something wrong in it. Something sad.

"I will bring him back to you, [Y/n]-ya."

"Law…?"

"If you see my men… tell them that they did a good job."

"Law, wait–"

"Room."

Minutes passed like centuries.

You sat against Killer’s side, hands pressed on your ears to not listen to Kid’s screams from the beach. After a while they stopped but the surgery continued, or at least you guessed so, since Law's Room was still in place. You didn’t look that way.

All the Kid Pirates had finally reunited and you all gathered together, without talking. Waiting in the sand.

As the Alliance’s general, you were supposed to check on the people who fought the war with you but you simply couldn’t, not now. Luckily, Vinsmoke Reiju and Marco took the task upon themselves, and they were reorganizing the army and the infirmaries.

Most of the Heart Pirates had medical skills, so they were the ones employed in assisting the injured allies all around. They were informed via radio their captain was safe, so they could focus on the wounded.

There was a time you let me know What’s really going on below But now you never show that to me, do you?

For these reasons, they didn’t rush to the beach. When most of the emergencies were taken care of, though, Bepo couldn’t hold back anymore and he headed to the sandy clearing. Shachi and Penguin tagged along, unable to conceal how bad they wanted to see their captain too.

But remember when I moved in you? The holy dove was moving too

"Here you are, guys."

Nami and Chopper walked towards them when they appeared near the beach.

"Oh? Is the captain still there?" Bepo asked.

Chopper nodded.

"Yes, beyond those boulders. He’s performing surgery on Eustass Kid. He’s in critical conditions." the small reindeer hinted at the beach, where you and your crew were waiting "It’s been a while now."

"Surgery?" Penguin glanced at his comrades "Maybe we can help."

"Wait, he said–"

But the three of them were already running towards the clearing.

"Oi!"

Hearing the call, you turned to the pirates approaching.

"The Heart Pirates are finally here," Wire observed.

Killer helped you stand.

"Where’s the captain?" Shachi asked when they reached you.

Heat pointed at the beach behind his shoulder. The wide Room was visible about two-hundred feet away. Bepo frowned.

"Wait. How long has that Room been there?"

You shrugged.

"I don’t know. An hour? More?"

"What?"

You saw their eyes widening and something in the back of your mind pulsated.

And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

"It’s impossible!" Penguin squeaked.

The three of them bolted towards it, but the Kid Pirates quickly jumped on their feet and grabbed them.

"Let us go!" Bepo yelled.

There was a desperate note in his voice that made you shiver.

Hallelujah

"Trafalgar said no one has to get in!" Heat stated, holding Shachi back.

"Let us go now!" Penguin screamed, trying to wiggle out of Killer’s grip.

You approached Bepo.

"What’s wrong? Why are you so upset?"

"Don’t you understand, you fool?!" he shouted in your face.

There were tears in his little eyes.

You took a step back, blinking.

"What?"

"He’s using the ultimate operation! The one that grants life in exchange of the user’s!"

In exchange of the user’s…?

"HE’S GOING TO DIE FOR EUSTASS!"

"If you see my men, tell them they did a good job”

Eustass Kid knew it.

From the second the excruciating pain began, he knew what was going on. What that idiotic surgeon was trying to do.

They fought side by side against the Admirals, they covered for each other, they won together, and it wasn't even the first time.

He saved that weakling’s life with his own.

So, when he lay in his blood and the stupid doctor tried to operate around him, he knew from Trafalgar’s face that he couldn’t save him back.

Kid had sneered at him.

"Don’t tell [Y/n]. She will kill us both for this mess."

Maybe there’s a god above But all I’ve ever learnt from love Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya

And now that fool was dragging him back from hell with his bare hands.

"Trafalgar, you fucker…!" he coughed, the surgeon’s blade still inside him.

"Shut. Up. Eustass-ya."

Law smirked, a rivulet of blood pouring down his lip.

"It’s not… easy… to replace a heart when you have to use your own. So don’t make me –ugh!– lose… focus."

And it’s not a cry that you hear at night

The surgeon blocked Kid’s mechanic hand before it could push him away.

"Fuck you! I don’t want this!" the redhead hissed.

"I don’t care what you want."

"Trafalgar, you bastard, get off me!"

"Damn… stay still!"

Law hurt him, on purpose, and Kid cursed in the blood invading his mouth.

"Leave… me… alone."

"You will live, Eustass-ya."

It’s not somebody who’ve seen the light

"Get the fuck off!"

"You will live, and love [Y/n]-ya, and raise your child."

"Trafalgar, I swear…!"

"And, who knows, maybe find the One Piece. Although I place my bet on Strawhat-ya for that."

"You…"

"I was lucky, you know. I had two dads."

"Stop it."

"I won’t let your baby have none."

"Stop it."

"So you will live, Eustass-ya."

It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah

Finally, the room dissolved.

The Kid Pirates let go of Shachi, Penguin, and Bepo. You all ran along the beach.

Eustass Kid and Trafalgar Law were lying on the sand, side by side. Both their chests had been opened and closed again.

"CAPTAIN!"

The three Heart Pirates rushed Law.

You felt empty while approaching Kid’s motionless body.

Sabo, Nami, Chopper, Jinbe, and a lot of other people were approaching as well.

"Kid…?"

After a time that seemed dilating, Kid’s torso shook and he coughed.

"KID!"

Killer immediately crouched beside him, grabbing his wrist.

"He’s alive! His breath and pulse are both regular!"

You collapsed on your knees as the Kid Pirates yelled in joy.

The whisper made you raise your eyes. The Heart Pirates were curled up around Law’s form. You slowly stood.

"[Y/n]…" Heat called you softly, but you didn’t stop.

Till you could see him.

Trafalgar Law had a peaceful smile on his lifeless face.

Hallelujah

You walked to him, among his weeping nakama.

Your fingers brushed his cheek as your wet lips brushed his forehead.

"Thank you."

And you could almost hear his voice, in your ears.

Eustass-ya, [Y/n]-ya,

Live on.

Epilogue.

A fresh breeze blew through the green branches of the willows on the hill.

"Oh, and you were right captain: Monkey D. Luffy did find the One Piece, in the end."

Penguin smiled, hands in his pocket.

"It was a bit of a mess, but whatever."

The white grave in front of him still had the Nodachi planted on its side, even after all those years.

No one touched it.

The cheers of the others were audible in the distance.

Penguin scratched the back of his head.

"Sorry for the chaos, I know you don’t like it, but see… the Heart Pirates are babysitting today. I already regret suggesting it, we’re clearly not equipped to handle–"

A small figure rushed between his legs, making him stumble. Before he could grab the kid, that one had already jumped on top of the grave, agitating the small slingshot in the air.

"Tremble, New World!" the child yelled, her spiky hair dancing all around her face "I’m Eustass Doruya, and I’ll be the next King of the Pirates!"

Apart from the usual patches, her signature sadistic grin was plastered on her face.

"Hey!" Penguin yelped "Get down from there!"

"Huh? Why should I listen to you, you miserable weakling?"

The pirate’s jaw dropped.

"What?!"

"Doruya, you’re always such a pain in the ass."

The childish voice reached the two, while a second kid dragged his feet up the hill. When he arrived in front of the grave, he observed it with bored eyes. His hair was far less crazy but the color was bright red.

"Shut up, useless twin! Do you want me to beat you up again?"

He sighed, glancing up at Penguin.

"Can we leave her here? We’ll tell mom and dad she ran off."

"Do that, losers, so my grand adventure will start!" she yelled.

The girl jumped down and ran in the woods.

"W-Wait!" Penguin gasped, but two of his crewmates were already rushing behind her.

"Don’t worry," the boy said "She’ll be fine."

He went back examining the grave with his sharp eyes.

"Is this the man you were talking about, Penguin-ojisan?"

"Hum, yeah…" Penguin’s smile returned to his face "This was my captain, Trafalgar D. Water Law. I thought it was time for you two to meet him, that’s why I brought you here."

"Penguin-san?"

The man turned to the black-haired woman who was walking up the hill.

"Nico Robin?! What are you doing here?"

The woman smiled.

"I was nearby and I decided to pay a visit to an old friend."

"I see."

Her brown eyes moved to the child.

"Hi there."

"Hi."

Nico Robin had already met the kid in the past, though he was far younger. However, it was not hard to guess who he was. You don’t see that hair color around much.

"And what are you doing here?" she asked, tilting her smile.

"I came to pay my respects."

"Your respects?"

The child nodded, then turned to the grave and bowed.

"Thank you for saving my dad, Trafalgar-san." he said "He gets angry a lot and he’s always bossing people around. You know, since he’s an Emperor and everything. But he’s the best dad ever."

He straightened himself.

"I speak also in Doruya’s behalf. She’s grateful too, she’s just too much like dad to say it out loud."

Some seagulls called each other from the shore.

"My mom is happy, and Killer-ojisan is happy, and everyone is happy thanks to you. So, yeah. Thanks."

The kid turned and started heading back to the beach. Nico Robin noticed Penguin quickly wiping away a tear from his eye.

"Hey, child-san," she called.

The boy stopped and looked at her.

"You know, it’s good custom to introduce yourself when you meet someone," she politely commented.

He curled his lips.

"I guess."

The child flashed her a confident crooked smirk that strongly reminded her of a certain doctor.

"I’m Eustass Law. Nice to meet you."

A very random mix but totally good and funny: North Blue Lenguage (or NBL like I started to call this) + Loved!Sanji

Judge thinks his experiments on his childrens go 100% well, when in truth just half works. (They have feelings, all of them)

Sora discovers her plan worked and decides to run away with all her kids. Because fuck it, she may be sick but letting her precious childs with Judge is a big no.

After this, things kind of go like NBL, Mihawk finding them and taking them with him to Kuraigana, Sora and Mihawk falling in love, etc etc etc. Just now it's not one but five kids.

Since just Sanji wants to be a cook, when he starts to work at Baratie, his siblings stay at Kuraigana. They still see each other but usually with their parents.

And for security, Sanji don't mention his siblings too. So no one knows about them until Karai Barai.

(This could have Acesan too, with Mihawk saving Ace and Luffy 'cause, y'know, they're Sanji's boyfriend and captain. So in Kuraigana during some time there is Zoro, Luffy and Ace recovering, all confused about WHY there's two womans and three boys who look a lot like the cook – until they found a family picture with Sanji and the chaos start, for different reasons, of course)

I've also started calling it NBL! It's still tagged as North Blue language though so it stays all falls under that. It gets long under the cut and Buggy is still competent! Also a hilarious image of Mihawk, five children and Sora all on his tiny boat. Chances are he's like 'fuck it, I'm a pirate' and steals a bigger boat.

Mihawk who is staring at these six individuals, almost all of them look identical if it weren't for the colored hair and eyebrows. Four of them have them curled one way, one has them curled the other, and their mom has normal brows. He's basically taking complete strangers to his home and the kids are all so fucking helpful it's weird. To their mom, to him, to each other, and four of them are really protective of Sanji.

Mihawk blinks at the names they have and the girl, Reiju, explains what happened to them, to Sora, who Judge is and what he did to Sanji specifically. Mihawk has fury burning inside him as he listens that he's never heard before but the kids and Sora take to him extremely well and he takes to them just as well and much quicker. Mihawk doesn't know what is going on with him.

Of course when he and Sora get together all the kids celebrate and it's actually very sweet. Sanji cooks better than Mihawk and everyone loves it. The kids all have PTSD, obviously Sanji has it the worst but Reiju isn't far behind. Mihawk and Sora talk constantly about how to best keep them secret to stop Judge from finding them, so when the opportunity to become a warlord comes up he takes it.

Imagine Ace and Sanji start dating and sending letters back and forth when Ace eats at Baratie once before he and the Spadille Pirates head to the Grand Line and he tells his family all about him and what he's like and what he's up to and how sweet they are on each other makes Sora and Reiju coo and 124ji gag and Mihawk rolls his eyes because he gets it. He's the same way with Sora after all. All the siblings want to go give Ace a shovel talk and Mihawk shuts that down. Then a couple years later Sanji sends a letter after Mihawk spared Zoro saying he joined Luffy's crew and he's setting sail and they'll be in the Grand Line soon.

They read the paper, cringe at his poster and freak out about Enies Lobby and then Perona appears. She is once again adopted and then Zoro appears and freaks out about the cook being in front of him when the crew was all sent to different places. He has no idea where anyone is and he needs to get back to Sabaody and Sora is giving Mihawk a look. But then he gets a denden call.

For a summons to serve at Ace's execution.

Mihawk immediately goes to talk to Sora and the kids, minus Perona and Zoro and they talk about him leaving the Warlord system to save Ace if it's a possibility. They all immediately agree. They can handle the backlash, Sanji had a dream and a love, those were more important than their secret. They were stronger now, they could protect themselves.

So he goes and sees Luffy and Ace and the fleet so it's a possibility and he is willing to take it so he aids in the fight. He helps free Ace and aids in fighting the admirals and vice admirals and he even cuts the lava fist that is supposed to kill Ace with a haki laced Yoru. Mihawk is unwilling to let them die and sends them off to take over the fight.

"This isn't your fight!" Ace yells at him and Mihawk stands in between him and Akainu.

"Boy, if you don't run and live for those who care for you I will follow you to Hell and drag you out myself!" Mihawk threatens. "Go!" So they do, Ace and Luffy go but Akainu throws a punch around him that hits Ace and Luffy but isn't going to kill them. Mihawk might actually be pissed enough to behead Akainu, but doesn't. When Shanks shows up and ends the war Mihawk manages to find Bepo and gives him directions to Kuraigana.

Ichiji and Yonji bring them in and Mihawk thanks Law who says the normal 'too interesting to let die' which Mihawk agrees with. He sees off the heart crew and checks on the newcomers and Zoro who has Luffy curled around him and yelling as Niji is yelling at him to lay down.

"Why are there so many Sanji's?" Luffy asks after he's calmed down about Zoro as Ace is blinking at the almost clones of his boyfriend before he has the realization.

"Oh no." Ace whispers in horror at his realization.

"If you thought I would let Sanji's love die, you're wrong." Mihawk says. "I'm not the one you should be scared of about this either."

"Huh, what does that mean?" Zoro asks.

"Our mom is scarier." Niji says.

"Your dad is the world's greatest swordsman and your mom is scarier?" Zoro demands.

"If you get us killed I'm going to haunt your ass for the next four lives." Perona threatens as she peels Luffy off him.

"You all should sleep, and you need to be in your bed." Reiju says to Luffy. Luffy whines that he and his brother almost died and Reiju says that's exactly why because Law said if he reopens his chest wound he will die. So Ace and Zoro try to cajole Luffy into his own bed and he's out fairly quickly.

Sora is bringing them food at some point and Ace asks about what Niji said because there's a reason he hasn't introduced Sanji to the fleet and that reason is the amount of shovel talks Sanji would get and Sora laughs and pats his cheek, tells him not to worry about that. Luffy asks if the rest of the crew is here since Zoro and Sora says no but they'll find the crew and check on them for him while they are off training or such.

I feel like Mihawk takes the two brothers and Zoro to Rayleigh and the Shirohige fleet, one so they can spend more time together, and two so Mihawk doesn't come back to a Zoro filled with bullet holes from his wife. Mihawk is sure she wouldn't kill him but he'd probably almost die again so off he goes with them.

"You have a lot of gall trading sides like that." Rayleigh says, almost teasingly to Mihawk.

"He dates my son and has been for some years. I'd say it was rather tasteless of you and the other members of the former Roger Pirates aside from Shanks and Buggy of all people to not step in and help." Mihawk says smoothly. Rayleigh blinks at him as Zoro grumbles about the clown and Luffy says he's lame.

"Oh, I should probably let B know I'm alive. Chances are he knows and I'm on my way back because of his network." Ace mumbles.

"His what?" Zoro and Rayleigh ask.

"You guys really think he would be that useless?" Ace yells at them.

"Well, yeah, he's lame." Luffy says while picking his nose.

"I've only heard rumors of it, a lot of information brokers use him to gauge rookies from the East Blue as well as the Revolutionary Army for their routes if I'm not mistaken." Mihawk nods.

"Wait, you have a son?" Rayleigh asks and claps Mihawk on the shoulder. "I remember when you challenged Roger and got your ass kicked." He laughs.

"I was eighteen, and I have five children." Mihawk says shrugging Rayleigh's hand off his shoulder. He ignores the balking questions from Rayleigh as Zoro and Ace hug Luffy before they head to the White Beard fleet to drop Ace off with Marco who thanks him.

"Just so you're aware whenever you inevitably meet Sanji I would appreciate it if the entire fleet did not give him a shovel talk. Ace was only told to be afraid of my wife in regards to dying." Mihawk says and Marco laughs.

"Sorry, someone married you? And had kids with you? Fuck, she would be terrifying. I think that's something we can handle." Marco nods as he ruffles Ace's hair.

"Well, I basically adopted them and then married their mother." Mihawk explains.

"They all look the same, except they have different colored hair. Sanji's eyebrows curl differently though." Ace says.

"Okay, buddy, go find something to eat." Marco says as Ace bows to them and leaves. "Okay so tell me about your wife? Does Shanks know? Does the government? How did this happen?" Marco rattles off.

"Goodbye, Marco." Mihawk says as he and Zoro leave.

When the two years are up Ace joins the crew and Sanji and Ace have their own room on the Sunny. Sabo in Dressrosa asks about them after getting punched in the face by Luffy and the stomach by Ace. Luffy excitedly tells Sabo Ace is dating Sanji and Sanji's family is so cool because his dad is Mihawk and all his siblings look just like him almost! Sabo is staring at Ace, not blinking as Luffy rattles all this off. Ace shrugs sheepishly and says they've been dating five years at that point which makes Sabo yell at him and Ace yell back.

when WCI rolls around Ace goes with. He thinks Pudding is fine but he and Sanji have been dating, albeit long distance until recently but the cook also never mentioned his family. Never. So when he sees the fight and Sanji "breaking up" with him he's pissed because he knows Sanji doesn't want to be doing this.

Of course on the way out Judge is yelling at Sanji about the best parts of him being failures and he should have followed suit with his mother and siblings and die. Sanji knows they aren't dead. He knows it but he keeps his fucking mouth shut and holds Ace back as Luffy asks why he started listing all of Sanji's good qualities and if he knows about his family. Judge demands to know what he means by that and Sanji says he'll find out soon enough.

And then a very big poster sized wanted poster comes out on the way to Wano. A family photo of Mihawk, Sora, and the kids and their individual bounties, close up photos(a decent one of Sanji too)comes out of the paper, as well as the rescue team's updated bounties.

When they eventually all go to Karai Bari because Sanji still has a separate bounty from his family the Wano team doesn't know and most of the rescue team have seemingly forgotten. So the amount of screaming is absurd to Crocodile and Mihawk but Ace is hugging Buggy and calling him Uncle B as Buggy keeps asking him if he's eating properly, how is Marco, keeps telling him where Richie is. Then Ace pulls Sanji over and introduces him as his boyfriend. 0124 look at them, then the clown, and then their parents.

"Did you already forget who my parents are?" Sanji deadpans to Ace.

"Wow, they really do all look alike." Chopper says as he looks over the kids.

"I should hope so, the boys are quadruplets. Reiju is only a few years older than them." Sora laughs.

"I'm sorry, what? Quadruplets?" Usopp asks.

"Yeah! Our mom drank poison so that Judge's experiments failed kind of, mostly Sanji failed and then the rest of us are really hard to kill." Yonji says.

"Huh?" Buggy and Ace ask.

"Check this out!" Yonji yells.

"How did it go in Tottoland?" Sora asks as Yonji shoots his hands away, Ichiji fires lasers from his eyes and Niji jokingly shocks Luffy since he's rubber.

"I think Judge got killed by Big Mom." Sanji says. "Awful otherwise."

"Well that's one less thing to worry about." Mihawk says
