It's THE pairing, my OTP of this story! "Meant to be" seems like an expression written for them!

I love these characters both individually and as a couple, they are so sweet, and heart-warming despite a rocky beginning 💚💚💚 Two cinnamon rolls trying to overcome their insecurities, learning the difference between "getting help and support" and "being (co-) dependent", struggling with self-esteem and family drama, and how to defend themselves from toxic people! Their chemistry and development are just *chef's kiss* 👌I can't wait to read the end of the series and see how they will end up!!

I’m sure Maria and Lorena would be surprised there were other people who thought negatively about their little sister’s appearance. Growing up with her and being isolated within the palace for so long they never thought there was anything wrong with how Gwen looked. Especially with how their father always treated them all equally and properly made sure the staff don’t make Gwen feel any different. I’m sure they would throw hands at anyone who called Gwen ugly even Aurelia if they met her.

absofreakinglutely. also if I recall correctly, all the kids never saw any portraits of their mom?? maria might have vague memories since she's the oldest. but gwen just looks so much like their mom, and lorena and maria see gwen as truly beautiful. so if someone just said that was wrong??? haha yeahhhh good luck to them.

so that moment when blaine didn't even imply, but just straight up said that lorena and maria were actually beautiful compared to gwen. i think in that moment, blaine was at a breaking point and being pushed and wouldn't have normally said that, but yeahh :( maria and lorena just don't understand why people see gwen like that, and gwen was the first to find out. OHH AND JACK.

do you think jack ever acknowledged why his parents didn't want him to marry leelathae?? did he ever come to realize the stigma around her appearance?? i actually think there's a pretty good chance he never did due to this being the same guy who thought all gifts were meant for him due to that happening in the past lmao

IN CONCLUSION. ever since learning about how society sees her, gwen thinks that maria and lorena have been pitying her and lying to her when they say she's beautiful and goddamn that hurts because that's something lorena and maria really do believe

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog - Hedgehog of the Hound Table (screenshots & Review)

Time for part 2 of the Chaos Emerald mini-series!

The episode begins with Robotnik and his badniks arriving at their next destination - the medieval ages. They are headed to the house of the wizard "Merlynx", in order to steal the Chaos Emerald of Invincibility that he has in his possession. They break into his home, just as Merlynx is trying out a potion to restore his own youth - it fails and turns him into a weight lifting machine, so Robotnik has to turn him back. After introducing himself, Robotnik explains that he is going to violence the old cat man if he doesn't hand over the emerald. Merlynx complies, and eager tot ry it out, Robotnik holds the emerald and order Scratch and Grounder to electrocute him. To the doctor’s surprise, this still causes him injury! It turns that the Chaos Emerald also requires someone be of royalty - a king in Robotnik's case - so he sets out to steal the crown from King Arfur.

I guess Sonic’s not into tentacle stuff. Meanwhile, back in the present time, Sonic and Tails are goofing off at the beach again. I'm kind of surprised they aren't looking for Robotnik! Thankfully their scientist friend arrives to let Sonic know where (or rather when) Robotnik has turned up. Sonic is still trying to goof off, as he is currently flirting with another gal, but when she reveals herself to have tentacles, he becomes uncomfortable and agrees to help.

The King’s Castle! As Sonic and Tails arrive in the proper time period, a dog gal runs by them in a panic, and they follow her to see what's going on. She introduces herself as Princess Gwendolyn and explains that the castle is under attack, so the three of them head to the King's throne room. There, they meet the Princess' father, King Arfur, and he tells Sonic and Tails about how Robotnik outside the castle walls attacking his knights. Robotnik and his badniks have gotten themselves some spiffy knight armor, and even a cool little cape, too! Tails also seems to enjoy playing dress-up at the castle, as he is now dressed in a very stylish "dirty peasant/tiny squire" outfit. The Princess believes Sonic to be a knight of legend, "The holy hedgehog" and Sonic agrees to go out and fight Robotnik. Unfortunately, Sonic ends up being defeated when Robotnik forces Merlynx to cast a spell that turns Sonic feet and sneakers into stone! Tails tries to pull them off as if they were shoes, which thankfully doesn't work - Sonic's having a bad enough day already without having his feet pulled off.

Superior technology...superior firepower!

Robotnik looks good in a suit of armor!

Poor Sonic... With Sonic partially immobilized, Robotnik is able to easily get inside the castle and steal the King's crown, thus also activating the Chaos Emerald of Invincibility! Not only does it make him invincible but it also gives him beefy muscles and a special outfit, Sailor Moon style. Lookin' good, Doc! The doctor celebrates by placing Sonic and Tails in the castle dungeon. The kids are feeling down on their luck, as Sonic is barely able to move with his giant freaky rock feet. Thankfully, The Princess shows up and sneaks them some chili dogs with files hidden inside, so they can escape!

The Princess hints that she is sneaking them a means of escape, but it seems to go right over Tails’ head because he bites right into the files! Poor little guy...

Now free, Sonic and Tails slowly make their to Merlynx's house so he can reverse the spell cast on Sonic’s feet. As they arrive, Merlynx is once again trying out a youth potion on himself, but it turns him into a wheel of cheese - and Sonic eats a piece of him! What the fuck, Sonic?! Thankfully when Merlynx is restored, he doesn't seem to have sustained any injury from this.

And I’m  a piece of cheese!! He is able to restore Sonic’s feet to normal, and our heroes head off to challenge Robotnik to jousting competition. Sonic has gotten himself a nice suit of armor for the occasion, and for a while, is unable to do any damage to the invincible Robotnik. Tails gets the idea it work on trying to find out where Robotnik is hiding the emerald, and working together, they manage to knock off Robotnik's helmet and get the emerald, allowing Sonic to then make quick work of Robotniks' armor suit and defeat him. Interestingly, Tails at one point uses the emerald himself-  but he never put on the royal crown, and he also  doesn't get a special outfit when he turns all buff! This damn emerald needs to make up its mind...

Amusingly, neither Sonic nor Robotnik seem to have bothered getting actual horses. We even end up seeing that Robotnik is just wearing a horse costume on his lower half!

Robotnik brings a gun to a joust!

That’s the beefiest 4 year old I’ve ever seen! After the fight settles, King Arfur (who is tiny dog, by the way - that's a cute pun name!) - knight Sonic as "Sir Sonic" - not unlike what happens at one point in the Archie Comics, neat! As the episode ends, Sonic and Tails send the baddies off to a different time period to be mauled in a roman coliseum by lions. Hooray for pettiness?

Sir Sonic! In the Sonic Says segment, Sonic teaches Tails about the importance of never going swimming by yourself. This is very good advice, as all sorts of dangerous things could happen. Always bring a friend to keep you safe! This episode was a lot of fun! I liked all all the fun knight-themed action, and the characters of Merlynx, Princess Gwendolyn, and King arfur were all likable too. Just as in the previous episode, the animation felt particularly smooth, and there was some solid humor as well! Definitely a good chapter in the Chaos Emerald mini series.

I found few days ago this excellent comic called Cursed Princess Club. Damn, it’s os fuckin’ splendid and surprising. It makes me howling with laughter and sometimes it makes me cry and mad.

I love Gwen so much. 💕 She’s such a sweetheart.😘 And there’s so many lovely charachters, for example Prez, Jamie, Syrah, Monika, Jolie...

I want so much to kick Frederick ass, tho. I feel bad for him how his father treats him (and his brothers) and that he was bullied at school (it hit too close). But fuck, he was so cruel, what he said about Gwen. Despite he didn’t know that Gwen heard him. He has to done so much work that I’ll forgive him. I do still root him and Gwen, tho. When he learns what kinda person Gwen is, he’ll fall in love immediately. But I want still kick his ass.

(As sidenote, something in Gwen makes me think barbapapas - maybe her nose. And it makes me love her even more.)

If you ever get change, go check it and give it try (tho, if you’re scared of spiders, maybe you should skip it - I would’ve done that if I had known about it beforehand, now it’s too late for me ‘cause I already fuckin’ read that part and was all like 😱😱 😵. And now it’s too late to not to read it anymore because of those spiders,‘cause I really do love that comic so much and I want to know how Gwen’s story will continue no matter what. Hoping there’ll not be too many spider scenes anymore, tho). It really’s so fuckin’ marvellous and it will give you so many feels. And you’ll fall in love with Gwen immediately. You just can’t not to love her.

Also, you can bet that some day I’ll make fan art from that comic.
