Some of them it's hard to really pinpoint an exact reason why I pick up some muses, mainly I just get an itch to write a specific archetype or character, but usually it's because something about that character resonated with me! An example being that I really relate to Noriaki Kakyoin or with Alastor/Alucard, I just really wanted to write a sort of villain or character with some fucked up morals. It's fun and it challenges my writing a lot! I guess mainly, I like characters I feel I understand well or characters that push me out of my comfort zone.

ɪꜱ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ʏᴏᴜ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴡʀɪᴛᴇ?

Anything to do with SA, it's an absolute NO from me but I would think that's obvious that writing SA is kinda gross for roleplay? There's other stuff too, I really don't like ABO AU's, I just think the whole "alpha" and "beta" thing is just really weird and not my thing. Finally is just weird fetished, man. I'm not gonna RP a character getting blown up like a balloon or anything like that, no offence but it makes me EXTREMELY uncomfortable.

Music, absolutely. When I'm having trouble writing a muse, I listen to a song from a private muse playlist I made on Spotify that I associate with that muse and it REALLY helps me get more into character.

Was macht dich zu einem guten Vater? Ich habe lange darüber nachgedacht, denn eigentlich habe ich dich immer als guten Vater gesehen, ohne eine Begründung dazu. Es war für mich einfach so. Ich wollte mich dennoch mit der Frage auseinandersetzen und sie wirklich beantworten.

Ihre Tränen sind deine Tränen. Ihr Strahlen ist dein Strahlen.

Unsere Töchter sind dein Heiligtum. Die Art und Weise wie du die Beiden beschützt, wie du sie ansiehst..du bist ihre erste große Liebe, Deacon. Du bist ihr Prinz, Ritter und König in Einem. Das wird sich auch nicht ändern, wenn sie mal einen Partner haben. Du bist ihre Nummer Eins und du bleibst ihre Nummer Eins.

Grace: Wenn ich an meinen Dad denke, denke ich an all die Helden, die ich auf den großen Leinwänden gesehen habe und ich erkenne sie alle in ihm wieder. Er ist der Gute, immer. Er hat viele Macken, er ist nicht perfekt, manchmal möchte ich kein Wort mehr mit ihm sprechen, wenn er sich wie ein Neandertaler verhält, aber.. nirgendwo anders sonst, möchte ich sein, nach einem langen Tag in der Uni, als in seinen Armen. Seine Arme sind mein Lieblingsplatz auf Erden und es ist mir absolut nicht peinlich, mich noch immer wie ein kleines Mädchen in seine Arme zu flüchten, auch wenn ich bereits volljährig bin. Seine Arme sind mein safe place.

Merida: Wenn ich meinen Dad ansehe, sehe ich seine guten und schlechten Eigenschaften und liebe sie alle, denn das ist das was Daddy mir beigebracht hat. Man hört nicht auf etwas oder jemanden zu lieben, nur weil es nicht perfekt ist. Daddy liebt mich in all meinen schrecklichen Momenten, er liebt mich selbst wenn wir streiten, meistens über meine Outfits und ich liebe ihn, immer und zu jeder Sekunde. Auch wenn ich ihm entgegen rufe, dass ich ihn hasse. Dad? Wann immer ich rufe, dass ich dich hasse, rufe ich eigentlich Ich liebe dich. Denn ja, ich liebe es, dass du dich wie ein Neandertaler aufführst und dich um mich sorgst.

Unsere Söhne sind nicht nur unsere Söhne für dich. Du siehst sie bereits jetzt als richtige Männer an und bist auf einer Wellenlänge mit ihnen, du erziehst sie, aber gleichzeitig bist du ihr bester Freund.

Colin: Dad ist unsere Superheld, MacGyver und Einstein in einer Person, es gibt nicht was Dad nicht weiß oder kann und er ist unser Beschützer vor all dem Bösen oder den Monstern unter dem Bett. Wir fünf haben schon so viel von Dad gelernt und einige seiner Marotten übernommen. Doch das wertvollste für uns ist, Zeit mit Dad zu verbringen, nichts geht über Papabär-Time.

Jack: Besser hätte es mich nicht treffen können, seien wir ehrlich. Mein Dad ist in allen Bereichen des Lebens ein Meister, brauche ich einen charmanten Spruch für meine Lehrerinnen, damit sie mich nicht bei meiner Mummy verpetzen, hilft er mir und seine Sprüche funktionieren immer. Brauche ich Hilfe Merida zu besänftigen, findet er mit mir zusammen das beste Schokoladen Eis. Wie fängt man am Besten einen Dino ein? Mein Dad weiß Bescheid. Ich glaube, es gibt nichts, was mein Daddy nicht weiß und somit, gibt es nichts, was ich nicht weiß, denn mein Daddy und ich sind Eins.

Tristano: Ich glaube, eigentlich sind Daddy und ich Brüder. Oder wir sind einfach Alles, was das Leben zu bieten hat. Dad ist mein bester Freund, mein Bruder, mein Vorbild, mein Daddy. Er ist mein Ein und Alles, natürlich direkt nach Mummy. Ohne meinen Daddy gäbe es mich nicht, das weiß ich, weil er Jack und mir erklärt hat, wie Babys gemacht werden! Ups..das hätte ich nicht sagen sollen! Ich liebe Daddy..denn auch wenn ich ihn ständig in Schwierigkeiten bringe, weil ich ihn ausversehen bei Mummy verrate, ist er niemals böse auf mich. Bro-Kodex gilt eben nicht bei Mummy..

Also. Was macht dich zu einem guten Daddy? Ich lausche den Worten unserer Kinder und weiß es, abgesehen von meinem Instinkt. september rotation

this was an interesting month for music! i didn’t discover as many new songs as i usually do or typically put on here, but these are my top picks for the month 

mushroom punch - zella day: zella day is on the fast track to be coming my new favorite artist bc this is a banger that’s equally as arresting as radio silence. just as punchy as the title suggests. it begs to be sung along to  

cyclone - maude lateur: the beat!!!!!!!!! absolutely a sad twerking song. it’s about realizing the self-destruction of past relationships with the beautiful comparison to a hurricane (...to soon?) it includes the build-up to expecting a disaster and the excitement buried beneath fear it incites and the heart-breaking devastation that follows

take off - prinze george: i’ve had this song stuck in my head for days and for good reason. ABSOLUTE banger. it’s selfish and greedy and all consuming in the way love is sometimes 

close to you - the wildlife: @majicmarker introduced me to this song and i haven’t recovered since. it has me down SO BAD i’m writing a whole ass fic. the eddissy vibes are off the charts and the lyrics ‘push your hands against the wall, kissing in the bathroom stall’ produced a very whoreish reaction from me ngl

lonely - ladyhawke: the yearning here... coupled with the haunting and harrowing vocals... contrasting the hopeful tone with the “hopeless” “other” in the song... the repetition of ‘run’ and ‘running’... all accumulates into this heavyhearted masterpiece that has me laying in bed and crying to. also the cover art fucks

graduating - nell mescal: oh this song... whew. it’s bittersweet. i know i describe a lot of songs on here as melancholic but this fits it to a tee. it’s also angry and hurting. like poking at a fresh bruise or an open wound. you want to heal but can’t do that without aggravating the pain, whether purposefully or not 

i wanna - ella jane: back again with the yearning! i had to google what the artist says about this song and she describes it as coming from being fed up with being single and admitting to wanting to be in love as such a vulnerable and honest and even embarrassing place and describes the chorus as “empowering” which i completely agree with. 

i WILL, however, debate with the interviewer of the article where they say the song “felt like they were in a coming-of-age film.” i wouldn’t definitively categorize this song as “coming-of-age” though i can see how it can be seen as such. it’s just not letting it live to its full potential. it’s a disservice. falling in love or realizing you want to be in love and be in a relationship isn’t limited to the ages between childhood/adolescence/adulthood. love can be found at any age! BUT i am also not trying to make this song inaccessible to people who are at that age (since ella jane is a young adult and wrote this song recently) and could benefit from hearing it

coolest fucking bitch in town - haley blais: already poured out the majority of my thoughts on this song to @152glasslippers whose tags introduced me to it and WOW. mind = blown. it’s nothing like i expected from the title and openly admit i was humbled right from the start. it’s soft yet still unapologetic and cathartic. i’ve been thinking about those trumpets ever since yesterday

#zella day has a new album coming out in 2 weeks and i am SALIVATING #monthly music rotation #monthly music roundup #september rotation #the theme this month seems to be centering around co-dependence and self realization through past relationships huh #and as always #yearning #anyway maybe my little argument about 'i wanna' is me projecting how i'm thinking about/trying to figure out my sexuality #that said i do think this song could be about the ace spectrum since that was one of my first thoughts listening to it #not included is 'all too well' and 'deliver us' from the prince of egypt sound track that i listened to at least 50 times #also 'lonely' is by like 6 other artists too that i did NOT feel like typing out #the 'close to you' fic WILL be posted this month i promise #it's just a monster
