I wasn't exactly sure how to word nenes bc im super tired when I made this bc shes not nonspeaking but shes been shown to have difficulty with conversations and shes very shy, also in the rmd event when we see her as a kid she talked very little / had difficulty with it ^ everything else should be self explanatory . Although idk if everyone realizes that thing abt tsukasa maybe. Anyways think about it for 5 seconds if you read the stories im not explaining.

One of Nene's main hobbies is playing video games, and the illustration of her bedroom reveals that she owns several consoles. Among these consoles are:

A PlayStation 4 Pro

A PlayStation 3 Super Slim

An Xbox 360 Pro

An Xbox One

An Xbox (with a modified color palette)

An original release Japanese Sega Saturn (with a modified color palette)

Plus a gaming PC, and another console that don't seem to match with any real-life one. There also seem to be two Nintendo Switch Lites on the floor next to her TV, and a PlayStation Portable on her desk.

She also has two amiibo-like figures on her table, plus two more on her headboard, as seen in her untrained To Get Closer to the Canary 3* card (one of which appears to be an Animal Crossing-like character).

I respect that post about "found family" being misused as a term because people overlay nuclear family structures but actually I rarely see that. It is far more frequent to see people trying to force speedrun a group of loosely connected characters into a lifelong bond so they can call it found family, OR getting mad that a genuinely tight-knit group still has their own separate lives outside just each other and don't all live in one big house. Found family can be great but sometimes characters are just friends or not even that, and that doesn't mean the story is any worse for it. And even if they are a found family that does not mean they will always get along nor constantly be within ten feet of each other until the end of time.

#starting to think the people fixating real hard on found family do so bc they do not have an understanding of healthy family dynamics #and so it turns into found family means never being angry or having to say you're sorry #(or more accurately found family means everyone must apologize to Guy I Project On but they never need to apologize for anything)#queue

I made an iNaturalist group/project for Naturalists of Color!

Why? I don't know, I just thought it'd be fun! I know Projects, at least as far as I know, don't really have much of a Chatting Feature or anything along those lines, but I thought it might be nice to see IDs from other people on the site and feel a sense of community about it.

Maybe I'm being too soft about The Pictures of Creatures site, but so often I'm made to feel that being interested in gardening and nature to the extent that I am is Weird, too Nerdy, Too White, and this is all on top of the general safety concerns pushed onto exploring and admiring nature while Black (in my case). I thought a group like this would be a nice reminder that, hey, people of color can be avid naturalists too. Or just starting out, or just finding cool bugs and wanting to share! It's all welcome!
