i feel bad that my friendly neighborhood had to release a week before the ruin dlc, its such a wonderfully and carefully crafted game with a beautiful story and character/level designs, just so much thought put into it across the board and it truly does justice to its concept, but now its gonna be lost in the onslaught of fnaf hype and not properly appreciated <:/

im only capable of handling at most two social media at once this is so sad. been forcing myself to use instagram to promo my merch to locals cuz thats their hotspot and its taking all my mental energy T_T

also a bit of update, for those interested in getting the doujin, ill still be opening a small order for leftover stock somewhere late december/ early january. as well as releasing the pdf sale in january.

however! i also plan open preorder somewhere in february together with my ORV merch. ORV fandom got a better Group Order support so i might be able to get them to reduce shipping cost for the smaller DCMK orders💦 do note however, for february preorder i might only be able to ship somewhere in april to the Group Order Master (GOM). It will first need to reach the GOM before it be shipped to you. so the process in general are slower depending on how fast GOM can ship to you

So, incidentally, i saw this concept art of a dragon's dogma online sphinx recently and thought she was beautiful!

BUT i havent seen the stills from the dragons dogma 2 trailer. She's so scary and beautiful, i love herrr. They really tilted hard into a more unnerving creature.

Dragon's Dogma is one that's always skated under my radar but this is some really fun art direction. Always love seeing what people do with sphinxes.

Hi anon, sorry for thr late response. I think that you are seeing the promo in terms of reaching more of the general public outside of LATAM & famous media, but this specific promo was for his tour in LATAM.

Besides the promo in Brasil, Chile and Argentina there was also press from Paraguay (in Argentina) and from Perú (in Chile).

Louis talk about his music and other projects like AFHF, but the main reason is to promote the tour.

I don't live in those countries, but in this post by @lets-laughagain they mention how a lot of media was talking about Louis in Brasil and in this post they comment how Louis was trending all weekend in Argentina.

So the media work in some way, hopefully it also will help in ticket sales. But I think the fact that everyone that interviews Louis see how kind and down to earth he is, that's a positive thing. It helps that the media likes Louis for the future.

Also in this post & this other post by @calordelverano they share a lot of people talk about Louis football skills while he was in Argentina and mention how he was a great football player. So Louis is making new people be interested in him and that could make them listen to his music and buy tickets (not that everyone will but is a potential future audience).

Louis did a lot of interviews in each country, so I think it helps to reach different audiences and remind them the shows. I was just looking a few of the media that interview Louis and here are some data:

Brasil: MTV Brasil youtube channel (3.42M subscribers), Foquinha (2.09M), CAPRICHO (2.5M followers on twitter), POPline (184K), Radio Mix FM (90.9K)

Chile: CNN Chile (839K), Bio Bio Chile (507K), La Cuarta (449K on ig), Los 40 Chile (55.9K subscribers and this without counting the radio listeners), Radio Disney Chile (35.2K on ig),

Argentina: Todo Noticias (4.17M subscribers), MTVLA (4.14M), Algo de Música interview is in LUZU TV youtube channel (1.37M) , Tu música hoy (1.24M), Telenoche (1.13M), DATTA (136K followers on ig & 199K on tiktok), Billboard Arg (83.5K), Los 40 Argentina (52.1K subscribers and this without counting the radio listeners),

Paraguay, HEi Now (5.9K) & Perú, Radio Planeta (39.8K). Radio Disney Latinoamérica (1M on ig).

This without count the audience that media has where they share written or video interviews in their websites. That is a lot of ways to reach out to people in social media, he could reach new audiences with this promo for his tour and music.

And honestly even if he doesn't sell so many tickets because of this promo, he saw so many fans and that is so meaningful for them and for Louis because he said he wants to make them feel seen and thank the support.

I do think that for LT3 he needs a new strategy to reach more people, but I think what he did with the promo in LATAM is a good move, same with the festivals that he will do after the tour.

(If anyone from Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Perú, Paraguay, any LATAM country or anyone outside of LATAM that saw the impact of this promo wants to add something please do)

Spock being the only depicted nonhuman member of the TOS crew is like,, you can come up with a lot of clever/interesting watsonian explanations for why that is but none of them will ever make any sense in the broader depiction of canon. the doyalist 'network/budget constraints' explanation is basically the Only tangible justification for this and you have to just allow yourself to say "There are other nonhuman crewmembers, actually, it's just Coincidence that we as external viewers never see them on screen"

Every Other show/movie/book/comic/etc. AND Every Other ship/starbase/whatever Has that alien diversity #and so there is like. No Way to make 'TOS enterprise is the ONLY ship that is 99.99% human' a sensible option #the same argument applies to nonhumanoid aliens in starfleet -- they Do exist we just coincidentally never see them on the cameras #like. they really had to Fight just to keep Spock on camera (early promo material the network made for the show would #actually edit Spock's nonhuman features OUT of the photos bc they were So convinced it was a bad idea) #so you see meta like 'Spock is part of a devastating minority - he's the Only nonhuman on his Ship' and it's like. i DO see where you're #coming from but. as much as i would Like to meet you there it simply doesn't make any sense at all i think. sorry :/
