Weddings sometimes have slideshows showing how the couple met. Pictures of them growing up and then pictures of them together. I wanted to do something different for our wedding. I wanted to make a movie about how we met. This could be a lot of fun and gives us a chance to make something with our friends and family that will last forever. But just making a movie with us wouldn't be cool enough so I decided to have us be puppets instead while everyone else in the movie would play themselves. :)

A little character profile on Mateo! Mateo Merrick has been hunting puppet hatchlings for 80 years! His father was a street puppeteer in New Orleans. He was accused of witchcraft and kicked out of town. His father created a puppet for revenge and the puppet turned on him, killing his father and scarring Mateo. Mateo vowed to hunt him down and spent his life doing so. He met Father Hazzard in Georgia where a new breed of puppet hatchling was being created. That puppet laid an egg and was stolen. Mateo found Jack in Florida who was fooled into believing he had created this puppet who hatched from the stolen egg. He helped Jack hunt him down but was killed by #stanleythepuppet or so we thought! Mateo faked his death and later met a man who would help him tell his story and write a book. Mateo played by my dear friend Justin Duffy I miss him so much every day. He left us last year and it’s been real hard on me but going back and editing all of these things makes things a little better. #naturalbornstanley #stanley2thelegacy #characterdesign Stanley 2 is almost done!!!
