Blu Christmas Holiday Movie Asplosion 2022! ⛄ Chapter 25: It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie 🦌 The other half of this Henson/Muppety duo, It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie was the first feature length Muppet TV movie, and is, in my opinion, the second best Christmasy Muppets TV creation (after A Muppet Family Christmas), and also the second best feature length Muppets Christmasy movie (after the one that was actually in theaters). It was also the last for the Jim Henson Company, as the Muppets were bought by Disney a couple years later, as well as the first that didn't feature Frank Oz. Anyway, it's basically It's a Wonderful Life, but make it Muppets. It's pretty good, I recommend it. black.glass.media.oz Where do I begin with Patrick Gibson. Paddy was the first person I met walking onto this set. He greeted me with a handshake and smile introduced him self and from that moment until we wrapped Paddy proved to not only be super talented. But one of the nicest, most humble actors I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

He was always asking if I got what I needed. gave me any and every setup I needed. No matter how tired or heavy the scene was Paddy brought it every single day. He gave such a good performance for the portable door. And was always approachable to every crew member. He's in my top 3 actors I've ever worked with because he was just a joy to be around. I would work with Paddy any time any place. Hope we get to do it again soon mate.

📽 TobiView 📽 HEXEN HEXEN 🐭 Sicherlich wird den meisten die “Original“-Verfilmung aus dem Jahr 1990 bekannt sein. Zum quasi dreißigjährigen Jubiläum nahm sich niemand geringes als Robert Zemeckis (Zurück in die Zukunft, Forrest Gump) einer Neuverfilmung an. Er schrieb das Drehbuch, fungierte als einer der Produzenten und führte auch Regie bei der zweiten Verfilmung von Roald Dahls gleichnamigem Kinderbuch aus dem Jahr 1983. 🐭 Die Veränderungen des Plots im Vergleich zur 90er Verfilmung halten sich in Grenzen. Der Film spielt beispielsweise zu einer anderen Zeit als das Original und bietet somit ein anderes Setting. Die Auswahl der Darsteller ist gelungen. Besonders Octavia Spencer und allen voran Anne Hathaway spielen den restlichen und sehr blassen Cast problemlos an die Wand. Stanley Tucci bleibt weit hinter seinen Möglichkeiten. Speziell dieser Umstand ist sinnbildlich für den gesamten Film, dem es meiner Meinung nach einfach an Mut fehlt und man sich zu sehr auf dem Original ausruht. 🐭 Die klassischen Masken der 90er Version sind CGI-Effekten gewichen, die zwar sehr gelungen aber leider entsprechend etwas weniger furchteinflößend wirken. Stichwort CGI: Sämtliche Computereffekte sind auch als solche zu erkennen und da stellt man sich die Frage: Ist das so gewollt? Ging das Budget aus oder ist es einfach mangelnde Akribie? Nichtsdestotrotz sind sie dennoch recht sehenswert und bewegen auf dem Niveau moderner Kinderfilme. 🐭 HEXEN HEXEN ist ganz klar auf ein jüngeres Publikum zugeschnitten, weiß mit einer schönen, aber bekannten Story zu unterhalten und bietet 100 Minuten gelungen Familienunterhaltung.
