J'ai regardé dernièrement la série turque Netflix Atiye (The gift, عطية).

Je vous en parle ici parce que ça vaut le détour à mon sens.

Une jeune peintre d'Istanbul Atiye s'embarque dans une aventure liée à un site archéologique anatolien à la découverte de secrets universels, et de ses liens avec son propre passé.

Atiye a une vie parfaite en apparence, mais tout va basculer à la suite d'une découverte faite dans le plus ancien temple de la Terre, Gobekli Tepe. Erhan, un archéologue, découvre un symbole dans les ruines qui relierait Atiye à Gobekli Tepe. Elle va se lancer dans une quête afin de découvrir les secrets de son passé... et sauver le monde.

La série est inspirée d'un roman de Şengül Boybaş.

Au premier abord, la série semble normale, chronique d'une vie stamboulite de classe moyenne et aisée. Et puis viennent les premières hallucinations... Les événements s'enchaînent avec rapidité, mêlant intrigue policière et énigmes.

Cette série ne ressemble pas du tout aux autres séries turques romantico-romantiques qu'on voit pulluler sur toutes les chaînes tv.

Le storytelling est captivant, on peut difficilement s'arrêter à 2 ou 3 épisodes de suite. La production est excellente, le plateau de tournage est fabuleux, Istanbul est une oeuvre d'art en soi et les sites archéologiques de Gobekli Tepe et le mont Nemrut sont magnifiques.

Les acteurs sont talentueux, spécialement Beren Saat l'héroïne de l'histoire, déjà vu incarner avec brio la plus médiatique des sultanes de l'empire ottoman, Kosem Sultan.

La série a un univers contemporain avec des éléments fantastique liés aux mythes de la création. Rien de compliqué même pour les réfractaires à la fantasy et à la théorie des multivers. Je dis ça pour les gens qui ne supportent pas l'utilisation de la magie ou de la science-fiction dans le cinéma de manière générale. Ici, point de dragons ni de gobelins, rassurez-vous, juste un peu de surnaturel, quelques présumées sorcières et quelques phrases d'araméen .

La 2ème saison est déjà disponible sur @netflix.

C'est encore une bonne surprise pour moi en ce qui concerne les séries turques de fantasy, ma 1ere série turque ayant été "le protecteur d'Istanbul -The protector", histoire de vampires classique avec un backgound ottoman et turc contemporain. Je vous conseille les deux vivement 😎.

Dollar diesen (Tier-) Horror-Film, der u. a. die Angst vor Spinnentieren, die so genannte Arachnophobie zeigt. Ich habe den Film erstmals Ende der 90er-Jahre gesehen. ▪️ Inhalt: Dr. James Atherton stößt in einem von der Außenwelt abgeschnittenen Tal in Mittelamerika auf eine neue, äußerst aggressive Spinnenart, von welcher er ein betäubtes Exemplar zu Forschungszwecken mitnimmt. Die Spinne gelangt in das kalifornische Städtchen Canaima. Dort paart sich die gefährliche Dschungelspinne mit einem einheimischen Tier, wodurch eine noch gefährlichere Art entsteht. Als die ersten menschlichen Leichen in der Kleinstadt auftauchen, kann sich zunächst niemand erklären, woran sie gestorben sind. Aber der neu zugezogene Arzt Dr. Ross Jennings kommt schließlich den Spinnen auf die Spur. Panik breitet sich in der Kleinstadt aus. ▪️ Besetzung: Jeff Daniels spielt Dr. Ross Jennings, Harley Jane Kozak spielt Molly Jennings. In weiteren Rollen sieht man u. a. In diesem Fall wurde eine der verbreitesten Ängste, die Arachnophobie oder die Angst vor Spinnentieren thematisiert. Spinnenphobiker sollten bei diesem Film tatsächlich nur bedingt hinschauen, aber alle anderen sehen eine sympathische Mischung aus skurrilem Humor und (Tier-) Horror. FINALLY got to see @thenorthmanfilm last night! At @cinemark, no less, with the super swank reclining chairs... Was SO worth the wait! Loved absolutely everything about this modern-day epic, particularly the performances... @alexanderskard_official totally disappears into his role and @gotsomethinganya is bewitching as ever! Equally stunning was the cinematography, which looked BREATHTAKING on the big screen! Music and sound design were exceptional as well. Im still learning about Norse mythology and history so i cant speak to its historical accuracy yet, but it seemed pretty meticulously researched.. Simply put, @roberteggers_ does not make bad movies! DO NOT miss The Northman if yr a fan of his work!!!
