I've always loved the concept of Mimic needing them to take it slow when it came it physical touch. I headcanon him to easily go into Fight-or-Flight when touched because of how Whisper kept him on guard for so long after the betrayal.

Starline is very touch-starved (imo), but he tries his best not to rush into things for Mimic's sake.
