“Why would he try to run you over? Why did he make coleslaw on Helen's head? He's fucking with us!”
“Come on Julie, lets go back to the house.”
“Where’s your jacket, Barry?”
“ Look don’t you see, he’s got us now. Okay this is exactly what he wants. We can’t go to the police. Not now, he made sure of that. He's just out there, and he's watching us and waiting!”
[screaming to the killer]
“WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, HUH? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOOOOORRRR?”
Happy 25th Anniversary to I Know What You Did Last Summer

Julie deserves so much better then Ray the wet rag.
Helen should have been the love interest, then she may have lived, and everyone would be happy.
... except Ben. And Will.

Città violenta (Violent City, 1970)
"My organisation is changing in many ways, it's getting stronger and even more legitimate. We've started operating at a serious, national level. We don't need two-bit killers in these new ventures. And if we eventually need to hire a hitman, we go straight for the best: to pros like you. You'll get a regular salary, a pension and all the freedom you want. Only catch is, you'll have to come running whenever I need you. Don't forget, we're not the kind of family that sees divorce as an answer."
"Don't worry, I know. The bottom of the harbour is full of divorcees, like a big underwater museum."

Songs that give the same vibe as the members. (from my perspective)
Genre. fluff.
warnings. None.
paring. Riize members x songs
a/n: all songs are linked via youtube:)
Shotaro: Anybody by shae,WIMY
Shotaro’s whole vibe radiates this song mainly because of the beat and way it’s sung. It’s just a song you can listen to whenever you are wanting to relax. It also makes me have crazy scenarios about him running through my mind… like a scenario of shotaro and you dating for months now and it’s the two of yall finally realizing you are in love with one another. Omg or even like a fake dating scenario where you two are fake dating so your parents will leave you two alone and you two actually fall in love…
Eunseok: Did you know that there's a tunnel under ocean blvd by lana del ray
The piano and violin are just so angelic which reminds me of how he is as a whole when looking at him. Eunseok just has that beauty that is unreal. A real life statue that took hours of hard work and perfection. The whole vibe of the song is beautifully sad to me, it represents growing older and leaving childhood behind and Eunseok had been a trainee since 2017, so he could probably get the feeling of the struggles of growing older during those times.
Sungchan: Heaven by Julia Michaels
Now listen… the man Sunghcan is. His vibe is really soft but sexy at the same time which is the exact vibe this song gives me. How am I not supposed to have the most mind boggling thoughts with this man living in the same lifetime as me… also this song is such a good song about sexual desire and getting it and Sungchan really comes to mind… also “they say all good boys go to heaven, but bad boys bring heaven to you” TELL ME THIS DOESN’T REMIND YOU OF HIM. (if you say no, you are wrong.)
Wonbin: Double take by dhruv
Pretty song for a pretty boy. First time I ever heard this song I got full body chills and felt myself levitating, which is the exact same reaction I had the first time I had seen Wonbin. This song gives summer fling vibes and when I tell you I have the thought of summer fling!wonbin x reader… It's crazy. Or falling in love with a friend you’ve been friends with forever, and I could totally see wonbin in the BFTL trope. The vocals also contribute very much to the vibe match… idk how to describe it but it’s just how it is.
Seunghan: Heart attack by Bronson, Odesza, Golden Features, lau.ra
I listen to this song often when going on drives or just sightseeing and the feeling I get when doing that is the exact same vibe I get from Seunghan… the beat goes crazy and seunghan makes me go crazy the exact same way. Like can you imagine late night drives or walks with Seunghan with this song playing… pure and raw euphoria. The excitement of falling in love but also the fear of unknown territory gives me such strong seunghan vibes.
Sohee: Vertigo by Griff
This song makes me so happy and makes everything feel unreal. Sohee when he smiles gives the same vibe to me (and so many others… i’ve seen the tweets lol). But also this song's vibes gives me coming of age movie vibes, and I can 100% see Sohee being in a show or movie with the same vibe. The song reflecting fears and the fear of being in love is something else I get the vibe from Sohee… I really don’t know why but I can see it.
Anton: Art deco by lana del ray
The whole vibe of the song is serving Anton. The soft singing but powerful instrumental and beat… anton in my opinion looks like Aphrodite chose him as her favorite of all her lifetime and spent ages crafting him to be the perfect reflection of beauty in people. This song always makes me want to lay in a field of flowers at night and watch the stars and planets exist, and the thought of doing it with Anton sends my brain into overdrive.

Week 1 Disrupt: 12/10/23
I am interested in the use of corsets to disrupt and modify one’s natural figure, so I started looking on Pinterest and google, searching artists who use such props in their own works. I found some very interesting photographs!
Catherine Summers: Fashion Blogger Photographer:
A photograph featured in her 1990 art college fashion photography degree show:
Tumblr media
Here is a blog post she wrote part of which containing how she created this photograph, along with others from her degree show…
(https://www.notdressedaslamb.com/2019/05/my-1990s-art-college-degree-fashion-photography.html/amp)
The Corset X-ray (1908)
Photograph from the French Doctor: Dr Ludovic O’Followell
Tumblr media
How interesting and harrowing to see how one training their body with a laced up corset can affect their bone structure…
This is Michaela Stark, who creates ‘bodies’ of work using lingerie on herself and others to contort, disfigure and sculpt, displaying body parts people have been conditioned to hide away from the world…
(Photographed by Sølve Sundsbø)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I find these images so interesting in the way that things are wrapped around body parts to create sections of flesh that bulge and protrude in different directions!
I then stumbled upon this photographer while looking on Pinterest:
John Rankin Waddell: Photographer
Using a similar technique to Stark, we see rubber bands around the head, creating an effect of bulging flesh & skin…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I scrolled to similar works and found this picture
AA Bronson: Photographer
and searched him and found another of his works, again creating a similar effect to both the previous mentioned artists/photographers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think this is a great start to my research of “disrupt” encapsulating the world of body dysmorphia and “perfect body standards” and utter distortion of the natural human form.
