something I’ll always appreciate about 2k3 is that it pays so much attention to small sounds. The sound of the turtles’ footsteps is the most noticeable, but often you can hear other soft noises when they’re patting each other, when they shift their weight, etc.

And also their shells! When Don puts his bo through the back of his belt sometimes you can hear it scrape or clunk against his shell. The sound of people patting or touching their carapace or plastron are both different noises too. Though the one that really does make me grit my teeth is the sound of them sliding on concrete because you can hear the scrape of their shell and it doesn’t sound pretty

idk i just love those little details. The show is guilty of reusing sound effects n stuff but eh, that’s just them doing what they can with what they have, and i still like it regardless

i’m still getting over this horrible 3+ week long cold so i’m definitely still a little sensitive from it but fuck i think spring came overnight—everything is blooming and my entire head feels itchy from my eyes to my nose to my ears and throat. it feels like all i’ve done today is sneeze and it’s embarrassingly obvious how allergic i am from my bright red nose to my puffy, red eyes (which are somehow both uncomfortably dry yet overflowing with tears every time i start feeling a sneeze come on)

Are there any foods that you thought were supposed to be spicy and make your mouth tingly only for you to find out after telling another person about how the food made your mouth feel that you might be kinda sorta allergic?

I recently found out what while pineapple DOES burn your mouth a little, it's not supposed to make your tongue, lips, and throat feel vaguely tingly and numb for a few hours after eating.

Omg it was kiwi for me! Like it has the hairs but eating the fruit itself and not the skin (bc I did use to eat the skin too) would make my mouth and lips burn/tingle in such a way that despite the fantastic flavor, I learned later in life that kiwis do not in fact Do That 😂

#the pineapple I can thankfully avoid bc I don’t like pineapple 😂 So I may never know #but yeah! it’s kiwis for me! #I don’t believe it’s an allergy necessarily but I dunno #I can eat them just fine really if I wanted to #just makes my mouth itchy and sting a little for 30 minutes to an hour or so #come to think of it I haven’t eaten a kiwi in years so that might be different now
