Summary:

Techno slammed his fists against the transparent wall of his prison, trying his best to break it down. His captors backed up, whistling anxiously to each other. He gave the barrier another loud crack, delightedly watching as they scrambled away in abject terror. Nodding in satisfaction, he turned around to meet the eyes of two other prisoners that had been thrown into his cell. He froze. Right. There were now aliens in his cell. And he probably just scared the hell out of them. Or: Humans are a dangerous race feared by all on an intergalactic scale. Techno, a human ex-soldier that was abducted by aliens 18 months ago, is biding his time in captivity. This changes when two young aliens are sent into his cell to die.

“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”

“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”

or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

thoughts - this was so good. so well written, the character interactions were bEAUTIFUL. i don’t know what to do with myself after reading this fic. i will never recover /pos. seriously though, highly recommend this fic, especially if you like superhero AUs. the author spins tommy in a way that’s much different than i’ve ever seen him written before (/pos), and he’s got a lot of depth. he’s not just a little ball of chaos. he also doesn’t have super OP abilities, which is really cool to see. overall just an amazing fic /gen

But no one knows his true name. He considers that to be necessary as it serves as a safety measure against the fae that roam the world. Many fae would kill to get their hands on a human like Technoblade and he firmly defends his name because of that. However, after accidentally getting involved with fae, they seem to be adamant about not losing him, for whatever reason. Then, suddenly everything Technoblade has carefully constructed to protect himself is trembling in the face of these creatures and their whims.

do you have any bedrock bros fic recs?

okay i know my like number one most popular post is bedrock bros analysis (somehow??) but i dont actually care much about bedrock bros. ive got nothing against em and i think theyre pretty interesting in the right light, but in general, tommy just isnt my favorite character, plus my favorite Thing in a dynamic is loyalty and thus a dynamic built on two different betrayals just isnt my jam. other dynamics just appeal to me far more.

that SAID, i do have like. two fics thatre bedrock bros centric, which ill give to you now

i feel this one's pretty popular, but on the off chance you dont know it, stay underneath my wing. if you dont know it, its sbi, but most of the fic has them split so bedrock bros are hanging out together in one plotline w phil and wil in the other one. its cute, i like it, even tho its zombie au, which i generally dont care for

i will not ask you where you came from -- osmp, human techno, tommy's hiding in his house to escape dream. its been a while since i read this one, but i remember enjoying it

ive probs got some oneshots if i combed my history, but none jumped out when i skimmed thru... if you dont mind techno-centric ensemble fic that includes tommy and techno among other dynamics, i can def rec you some sbi and stuff, but for now this is about all i got

“First of all, so fucking rude-“ Tommy narrows his eyes.

Jack smiles blandly. “Don’t care.”

“Second of all-“

“I didn’t let him wear it.” Ranboo interrupts, rolling his eyes — very unimpressed.

Or: 5 times Tommy stole from Ranboo and Ranboo didn’t care, and the 1 time Ranboo did. Ft. Everyone with a soft spot for Tommy, Ranboo's special way with words, and Tommy being a sweetheart.

thoughts - i read this for comfort at like 3am while i had food poisoning and it made me cry. ultimate comfort (plus, allium duo is always poggers)
