On Wednesday evening, American 'Vogue' announced the surprising death of Tatjana Patitz. "She was much less visible than her colleagues - more mysterious, more grown-up, more aloof - and that had its own appeal"; editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is quoted in an article in the magazine. Tatjana Patitz died as a result of her breast cancer - she was 56 years old.

Christian Liaigre (August 10, 1943 - September 2, 2020)
Christian Liaigre, The ‘king of Minimalism,’ who fashioned homes for the likes of Karl Lagarfeld, Calvin Klein, Larry Gagosian, Marina Abramovic, Bryan Adams, François Nars, Rupert Murdoch, Carole Bouquet, Irène Van Ryb has passed away.
As an interior designer, he is revered for his restrained aesthetic approach.
Employing clean lines and natural materials throughout each of his projects, Liaigre's style was seen as particularly unusual when he emerged in the 1980s.
"Christian Liaigre preferred to let his designs speak for themselves, He created furniture and objects that reflected his dedication to beauty, a search for balance, an accuracy for proportions and perfection in the detail, His luxurious no-frill designs impressed a demanding international clientele on a quest for authenticity." (Christian Liaigre Studio’s statement)
