Y'all, I had quite a busy weekend. A friend of mine is getting married next month (I'm her MoH), and this weekend was her bachelorette party and bridal shower.
So naturally, I was thinking about Rogue and Remy's wedding practically the entire time.
I cannot articulate how much it meant to me, to see these two characters that I have invested so much time, energy, and love into for so long, reach this point in their relationship.
And Remy's line to Kurt and Storm before he proposed? "I'd rather not go on living than spend another day apart." Fucking hell. There really is no man like Remy Etienne LeBeau. "I'd rather die than make my soul endure the torment of not being bound to hers for the rest of my days." CHRIST ON A CRACKER.
Okay, he didn't actually say that second one BUT YOU CAN HEAR IT IN HIS VOICE, CAN'T YOU?! DON'T LIE.

Hi! Could you please tell me what are the most important/necessary comics about Rogue? I was recommended a list with all her appearances but obviously it IS A LOT! and I just want the most relevant stuff about her.

the must-read titles are: uncanny x-men (1963), rogue (2001), x-men (1991), gambit (1993), rogue (1995), x-treme x-men (2001), rogue (2004), x-men: legacy (2008), uncanny avengers (2012), uncanny avengers (II), avengers (2016), rogue & gambit (2017), mr. and mrs. x (2018). next up are all the recent titles she has been in, which are important to read due to the x-men's latest reboot: excalibur (2019), x-men (2021), rogue & gambit (2023) and uncanny avengers (2023).

I’ve been watching X-Men ‘97 and saw some discourse on Twitter about how next weeks episode will probably be Gambit focused and touch on Antarctica. I can’t remember anything about Antarctica from the OG show and I only have a casual knowledge of comic book events, what happens in Antarctica with Gambit?
based off the released preview clip for tomorrow's ep it's actually gonna focus on Jubilee i think! But to answer your other question, Antarctica is where it's revealed Gambit was involved in the Morlock Massacre and the night before finding that out is when Rogue & Gambit take the step of having sex together for the first time since their powers were null. Rogue is made to kiss Gambit & find out the truth of what happen and because of Gambit's own self loathing, as soon as the team is able to escape, Rogue leaves him in Antarctica to find his own way back. I added where they talk about it in Rogue & Gambit (2018) as well :]
