it’s been pointed out but why has atlas merch been released now that it’s been turned into knockoff atlantis & not? when we were actually there for three years of actual time? the actually colouring of the shirt is fine, it looks decent enough. that pin though looks like it’s made out of plastic & something i could find at poundland. i think as well it being in silver would’ve been a better choice, to contrast with the red + gold of beacon while keeping with atlas’ colour palette.

are we going to get the other kingdoms or is it only the white european inspired ones that matter? 3 / 10.

wow this is. boring. also i know this is meant to be oscar & a new iteration of “jnpr” but why would they not just retire that & make up a new acronym to show the team is moving forward but still honoring their dead friend. this would’ve been a good place to canonize one of the many suggestions but whatever.

I fell off RT/AH content not too long after the 2020 catastrophe. Tried to watch, but it started feeling hollow and corporate.

Learning what has been going on this whole time due to Matt getting let go and Kdin feeling secure enough to share a PART of her story of her time there is just awful.

I can only hope the employees who have been so horribly wronged by the company get some sort of compensation whether that’s from the company itself or from overwhelming support of the community.

I am thinking about Jake being uncomfy w touch from most people (and therefore being a little unknowingly touch starved) but doing small things to get your touch: leaning his head towards you so you play with his hair, gently touching your leg to get your attention, wrapping your ankles together under the table.

And the reader maybe not 100% picking up on it at first until he comes out and says it? Okay ily thanks for listening 🫶🏻🫶🏻

you've noticed it here and there--nothing outwardly in-your-face that screams help me! I'm touch-starved! no, it's much smaller than that. so much smaller that you don't realize it on your own at all.

like when you're at the grocery store and Jake comes up behind you, peppering your throat with kisses in the produce aisle as the sprinklers lightly wet the goosed skin of your forearms. like when he stands with his chest pressed against your back, arms caging you in, as he holds onto the cart and pushes as you do.

"looked heavy," he always insists softly, a smile tugging at his lips.

or when you're watching a movie at home, your feet resting on the coffee table beside his. he's always tucked up right beside you, his arm on the back of the touch behind your head. sometimes, during a more boring part, he'll gently drag his fingers through your hair and watch your face for a few moments. and when you catch him, he always squeezes your thigh, smiles coyly, and shrugs his way through a half-hearted apology.

"you're much more interesting than Bridget Jones," he'll say.

when you go to The Hard Deck with him, he's always hands-on. palm resting on your knee as you sit at the bar, chin on your shoulder while he waits for his turn in pool, body molded around yours as he teaches you how to shoot darts, lips against your cheek and fingers wrapped around your wrist when you excuse yourself to head to the restroom.

"don't be too long," he always teases, laughing when you roll your eyes.

right now, under the blue sky and before the dying fire pit in Maverick's backyard, you're beside Javy. the two of you are watching Jake and Rooster try and help Amelia do her first ever cartwheel in the grass, paper plates balanced on your knees.

"you're special," Javy says with a broad grin, waggling his eyebrows at you as you watch your boyfriend spot Amelia. "he's so whipped."

"oh, is that what you've decided?" you ask with a small smile, glancing at him.

"no, really," Javy insists. "that man's all over you."

you shift to look at Javy with a perched brow.

"yeah, that's the thing about being in love," you tease. "anyway, isn't he all over everyone?"

when Javy barks out a laugh, you bite your lip.

"sweetheart, he's not all over anyone any time--at all." when you look at him with an expression of disbelief covering your features, he nods to Jake. "we've been friends since the academy. I think he's hugged me...once? and when he saved Rooster's life? they shook hands. shook hands!"

with a peculiar sour taste on your tongue, you glance back at your boyfriend. and then it's suddenly clear as day--he doesn't really touch anyone but you. even now, as he's helping Amelia on the grass, his hands are merely hovering her shoulders. he's standing several paces away from Rooster.

"racking your brain?" Javy asks, arms crossed. "don't waste your time. I'm right!"

sticking your tongue out at Javy, you set your plat on the grass and stand up, starting for your boyfriend.

he notices you immediately--like he always does when you head in his direction. he's grinning immediately, one that eats all his features until he's just dimples and lips and teeth, hands resting on his hips.

Rooster, who's watching slyly, starts to casually hum the bridal march. Jake doesn't stop him.

"hey," you say softly as you approach. "get her into the Olympics yet?"

"almost," Jake sighs, immediately wrapping you up in his arms and pulling you against him. "she's just gotta believe in herself!"

Amelia, with her face red and her disposition less than sunny, huffs at Jake.

"I'm trying!"

Jake laughs, kissing the top of your head, resting his hands on your hips as he connects your bodies. you melt into him--just like he likes.

it feel so very natural to be up against him, being held tight under the dying sky. no wonder you hadn't exactly noticed that he isn't like this with everyone else--when he holds you, it just feels like something that's in his nature.

when you glance back over at Javy, he has his arms crossed over his chest. he's grinning from ear to ear, rapidly doing a whip motion in the air.

Achievement Hunter is changing and we're taking you with us

As you may have noticed, Achievement Hunter has gone through a number of changes this year. We’ve grown a bit smaller as our cast has moved on to work on exciting new ventures, including Inside Gaming and VTubing. Today, we are pleased to announce the launch of Dogbark, a new content group featuring Michael Jones, Alfredo Diaz, Trevor Collins, and Joe Lee. 

Rooster Teeth is at its best when employees have been given the opportunity to pursue new creative passions. Fifteen years ago, this meant giving Geoff the ability to create Achievement Hunter. And today, this means letting the Achievement Hunter cast move on to new creative projects.

Over the last few years, this has allowed our cast to put time into creating F**kface, ANMA, Red Web, Face Jam, and more. More recently, Jack and BK have put their efforts into streaming at Inside Gaming, Lindsay has begun exploring Vtubing as Ruby, and Ky is producing multiple projects, including some of those listed above.

With all of our new focuses, this means we will not be actively creating content for the Achievement Hunter channel. Let’s Play will also look a little bit different moving forward, but we can assure you that it’s not going anywhere, and it’s in great hands.

But why Dogbark, and not just new shows under the Achievement Hunter banner? At this point in our creative careers, we have grown as both people and as entertainers. Much like how early Achievement Hunter evolved from video game guides to Let’s Plays, we’re looking to take Dogbark in a bold new direction that is more heavily focused on improv and sketch comedy. It’s new. It’s fun. It’s weird. And it’s such a departure from what Achievement Hunter has been that we feel Dogbark is truly its own thing.

We’re very excited to share these projects with all of you, and we really do hope you’ll enjoy all the new content we have in store. Through the years, we’ve reached heights we never thought possible–from Haunter to the Hardcore series, from RTX Panels to AH Live Tours. Whether you joined us back in 2008 or 2023, we couldn’t have done this without you. We have been met with so much support as we’ve grown and changed over the years, and we can’t thank you enough for that.

We know this news might be shocking and saddening for you. It’s bittersweet. On one hand, we’re saying “See you later” to a truly indescribable brand. On the other, we’re getting to pursue new passions, explore, test ourselves as creators, and that’s an incredibly exciting experience. It’s hard to do the same thing for our whole lives, and we shouldn’t have to. But, just because we’re not a part of AH anymore doesn’t mean that we didn’t appreciate the time spent there, or with you.

It’s okay to be sad; it’s okay to take time to process. After, when you’re ready, come join us over at Inside Gaming, F**kface, RWBY’s Twitch, Dogbark, Red Web, Face Jam, ANMA, and So…Alright. We’ll be waiting for you.

Where are [insert the AH person you are looking for] going?

Honestly, nowhere. They’re still here at Rooster Teeth, but are jumping into new exciting opportunities that bring them joy and passion.Geoff and Gavin are focusing on F**kface, Jack and BK are streaming over with Inside Gaming, Lindsay is launching a RWBY Vtubing Twitch, and Ky is producing these projects. Michael, Trevor, Alfredo, and Joe are excited to announce their new project, Dogbark, which launches 10/2.

Does this mean AH content is going away?

Nope. It’ll exist in perpetuity online. Both on Rooster Teeth Site and Apps as well as the AH YouTube channel.

Will AH ever return?

Think of it like your favorite band going on hiatus. We don’t want to close the door completely and turn off all the lights. There’s always the chance that One Direction will come back.

Is Let’s Play content and channel going away?

Also nope! But stay tuned, you might recognize who will start showing up (and reshowing up) there.

His fingertips massaged your scalp as he worked the sweet-smelling shampoo into your hair. The familiar scent it left on the pillows of your shared bed was one he knew would be burned into his memory as long as he lived. Hot water streamed down on the two of you, helping to wash away the stress of the work day. Thankfully, it was Friday, so you would finally get a day to yourselves tomorrow.

Bradley leaned down to place a kiss on your shoulder before he shifted you back under the water, letting you rinse the bubbly mess from your hair. You failed to hold back a yawn as you did so. “Someone’s sleepy,” he teased. Your eyes were closed, trying your best not to get soap in them, but you just knew there was a soft grin playing on his lips.

Bradley shut the water off and stepped out of the shower with you behind him. After quickly drying off, you wrapped your hair up in your towel while he secured his around his waist. You reached to grab the plush robe he already had waiting for you. The fuzzy material felt soft against your skin; you tied the belt into a bow as another yawn escaped your lips. “I am so tired. I don’t even have the energy for my routines tonight.” You rubbed at your eyes in an attempt to will away the sleepiness that overwhelmed your body.

Your nightly routines, especially your post-shower routines, were something you always did no matter what — Bradley knew that too. He loved watching you go through all the steps; it was fascinating to him. Having seen you do it so many times, he could probably do it himself with his eyes closed. He wrapped his arms around your shoulders as you stood in front of the bathroom mirror. “Nope, you never skip on your routines, and we can’t have you starting now, little lady.” His voice was soft in your ear before he left a kiss on your cheek. “How about you let me do it for you?”

Your eyes met his in the reflection. “Are you sure you’re up for that? — It’s quite a process,” you said, giving him a questioning look. “Oh, I know, sweetheart,” he lightly tightened his embrace on you, “but I would be more than happy to take over tonight.” Before you could put up a fuss with what little energy you had left, he turned you around and hoisted you up onto the countertop. The cool marble hitting the back of your thighs made a slight shiver rush through your body.

Bradley tugged open the drawer where you stored your skincare essentials and started setting out everything he needed. You were somewhat surprised by his actions. Sure, he would sit with you during your routines, occasionally asking which products did what, but it hadn’t occurred to you that he was actually paying attention. Grabbing the first product, he asked, “Are you ready, baby?” You nodded up at him while letting out a little giggle as he rubbed the serum between his fingers. “Don’t look at me, please.” Concentration was already heavy on his features.

He swept the various products across your face, careful not to get any in your eyes or hair. You would occasionally sneak a peek at him just to make sure he was still going in the correct order. At one point in the process, he grazed over a slightly ticklish spot below your jaw, causing you to scrunch your nose as you tried not to squirm away. He had to let out a little chuckle at that; you were too cute.

After finishing your skincare, he gathered you up in one swift motion and carried the short distance to the bed before laying you down. “I’ll be right back, honey! — I know we aren’t done yet!” He returned a minute later, holding up your hairbrush and the bottle of lotion you always used after the shower. “I think you’re enjoying this a little too much, babe,” you said, shaking your head. He just gave you one of his goofy grins and a shrug in response, a pleased look on his face.

He didn’t waste any time rubbing the lotion into your skin, his skilled fingers working out any tension and soreness as he went along. Your smooth legs felt like silk under his calloused palms. It reminded him of how they felt under the sheets as they brushed against his own. Or how they looked when you wore those sundresses he loved so much — they seemed to give off the most enticing glow, which always drove him crazy.

You were in a state of pure bliss as he worked his magic on you, but as his fingers danced higher up your inner thigh, you were quickly pulled out of your trance. You pressed your foot into his chest, lightly pushing him away. “Not tonight, Bradshaw,” you warned, shooting him a halfhearted glare. He raised one of his hands in surrender. “Just making sure I didn’t miss anything.” He brought your ankle that was still in his grasp to his lips, giving it a quick peck before he began the process all over again on your other leg.

After he was satisfied with how your skin beamed under the dim lighting, Bradley went to his side of the closet to find you a sleep shirt. He wasn’t letting you lift a finger, insisting on doing everything as he tugged your robe off and slipped the oversized shirt on you. Once you were changed, he joined you on the bed, resting his large frame against the headboard before pulling you to sit between his legs. 

You sat crisscrossed in front of him while he untangled the towel from your hair, attempting to smooth it down before he started brushing. “Tell me if it pulls too much, and I’ll stop, okay?” He was as gentle as ever, making sure not to hurt you. The feeling of the bristles lightly scratching your scalp was enough to make your eyes start to flutter shut as you let out a sigh of contentment. Having your hair brushed or played with was a weakness you both shared; it would lull either of you to sleep in a matter of minutes.

You felt him shift behind you as the movements of the brush gliding through your hair stopped. He wrapped an arm around you, holding you in place as he leaned over to put your hairbrush on the nightstand. “All done, sweet girl,” he whispered against the side of your neck, mustache tickling your skin as he peppered a few kisses. 

Bradley stood the two of you up before moving to hold the covers open for you. You gladly crawled in, pulling the sheets up to your chin. The room grew dark as you heard your husband shuffling across the floor. You felt the bed dip beside you, warm arms engulfing your body not a second later. You snuggled against his bare chest, staying there for a moment before leaning back to peer up at him. “Think you could take over again sometime?” You felt a soft laugh rumble through him. “Just tell me when, honey.” He kissed your forehead and pulled you back into him; you yawned one last time before finally allowing yourself to drift off to sleep.
