Leading me to believe that in that scene when Hunter is looking at his helmet, he is actually thinking back to the time of their first mission. To the time where everything was simpler, where his brothers were alright, where all they had to worry about was how to complete their missions, and not fight against an empire in the search for a peaceful life that they'll most likely never get.

Analyzing how the girls reacted to Tecna's disappearence

Bloom is the first one to vocalize and she screams. She's always been the most impulsive one so she just panics and screams. She doesn't shout "no!" or anything, just a loud pitched scream

Musa is the one that's most distressed. She's already lost someone in her life and couldn't do anything to prevent it. It's happened again. Now it's her roommate and canonical best friend. She slams the ground in frustration. She cries and asks for help. But there's nothing that can be done. Even if they were to go down there where she fell, Tecna would still be dead. You can see the ground has turned back to normal in the scene right after. She has used all her life force to close the portal, Teboc says.

The second one to cry is Stella. Stella! She's always been the most distant to Tecna in personality and friendship. The bumbly shining and warm sun to Tecna's cold, straightforward logical approach. In the next episode, she laments how she wishes she had laughed at her jokes more. Oh Stella.

Aisha joins her immediately after the shock. Also never particularly close to Tecna, the jock and the nerd, but she just sacrificed herself to save not just her kingdom, but the whole magic dimension. That's how she's earned her Enchantix, some would say. Maybe she feels guilty for not being able to stop it, as Teboc insisted to let her follow her destiny.

Remember how in season 2 Aisha always had issues with Stella, always making her feel left out of the club and the girls' friendship? When Stella apologized multiple times to Aisha? When they finally understood their differences and their sensibilities? How Aisha craved for the girls' friendship and Stella didn't understand it at first, and now understand how far Tecna was willing to go for everyone? Now they are so close they instinctively hug each other in a heavy moment. Both the most different from Tecna grieve the most after Musa.

Flora and Bloom try to cover their tears, but immediately hug each other. We know Bloom would have sacrificed herself. Flora was behind with Stella and Musa to let the others go to the portal. Was it truly destiny that it had to go this way? That only Tecna, truly, was willing to sacrifice herself to close the portal? As Teboc says, great power and courage is needed to close it from the insides now. Were Bloom and Aisha not enough?
