addressing this post — 06/08/21

tw: mentions of: eating disorders, "skinnyphobia", fatphobia, sexual assault, rape, racism.

note: it is very probable that i may add things onto this post as things progress, so please be patient with me. i'm going to open up my ask box to be open to criticism, but i will not be responding to any that aren't questions.

to provide context.

the origins of this post has come from an earlier thread found here. in this thread, said user created some sort of “blocklist” with a list of tagged users and what they’ve done wrong. in said post, it’s stated that i defend individuals who write noncon/dubcon, which is true. as a victim of sexual assault and rape i find rape fiction as a form of a way i gain my control back, but thats besides the point.

in response to this post, i created a list of things that ive also done that could be seen as problematic which you’ll be able to see if you scroll a little lower. in this list, i disclose a few things; some of which are sarcastic, and others which are not. it is my mistake that i did not include tone indicators to differentiate the sort.

i thought that it was okay to make a joke out of this situation, which i truly shouldnt have thought. my intention was to make the “victims” of that post feel better about their inclusion in it by joking about the subject. i didn’t intitally take this post as something serious, which is why i was so open about joking about it. i always saw block lists as something petty or something to joke about, which is why i joke about it.

racism.

(technically ethnicity, but mentions of me being white were also brought up)

in this list, i start with the fact that ive called my friend callie (who is mexican) a b*aner. which is a slur used against mexican people. i am mexican. im 75% mexican, as an estimate, for i do not know my full history due to the fact that im adopted. but also, even though i am mexican, i am decently white passing depending on context. on days where i straighten my hair, im white. but on days where i wear my hair naturally, its very hard to tell what race/ethnicity i am.

as a mexican person, i have faced discrimination both societally and systematically for being mexican. obviously, since im white majority of the time, societal prejudice towards me isnt as great as systematic prejudice is. but there have been moments where i have been called slurs for my appearence (whether or not those slurs applied to me)

given the fact that i have been derogatorily called a b*aner, i believed that i had every right to say this word given the fact that it has been used against me, and because i have been mexican.

im so incredibly sorry if my use of the slur has brought hurt to anyone. although that was not my intention to hurt anyone, i realize that i have hurt people in the process and im incredibly sorry for doing so.

also, the fact that ive brought race/ethnicity up has been heavily brought into question. the only reason i included the fact that ive said “racist” things towards my friend callie was to show that i was being sarcastic with my following statement that im “skinnyphobic”

this was one of the situations where i am at fault for not using a tone indicator. i am completely aware that skinnyphobia does not exist, i am also completely aware that hurt that skinny people may feel in society is no where near the oppression fat people feel.

the reason i included this as a bullet point was because me and my friend group have a running joke about being “skinnyphobic” due to the amount of hate my fat friends have recieved from skinny girls both online and in their pasts. we all know that skinnyphobia isnt real. this is similar to how we also joke that we are “racist to white people”. we also know that racism towards white people does not exist, the same way that “skinnyphobia” does not exist. our joking about this was purely satirical and ironic.

i realize that ive hurt many of my fat AND skinny followers by the inclusion of this poor joke and im incredibly sorry for doing so. it is completely my fault for not including a tone indicator, but it is also my fault for thinking that this would be an okay joke to make.

fatphobia.

next in the list of things was my inclusion that i used to run a thinspo blog. a while ago, before i wrote fanfiction, this blog used to be a thinspo blog. i have been very open about the fact that i used to be very mentally ill, had a very bad eating disorder, and that this blog used to be a thinspo blog. since then, this blog has been completely wiped of all content including any sort of thinspo or pro eating disorder content.

i believed that it was okay to joke about the fact that i formerly used to run a thinspo blog because of the fact that ive changed so much since then. im absolutely embarassed of the person i used to be and how pro-ed i used to be as well. although i am still healing, and i still have trouble with my eating habits, i am in no way near as unhealthy or mentally ill as i was then.

it came to my attention through this post that someone who was fat was deeply offended by my joking about how i used to run a thinspo blog. i addressed it in that post, which you can read if you want to.

that post and my response was taken as a joke, i never intended my response to come off as a joke, it was completely genuine. i believed that i had every right to joke about my traumatic past given the fact that it was mine, but given that, i had failed to take into consideration on how my jokes about my past may effect other people.

i am terribly sorry if me joking about a thinspo blog offended you. eating disorders arent funny, thinspo blogs arent funny, and using my own experience with an eating disorder shouldnt be used as an excuse to joke about one.

also, on the topic of eating disorders, the eating disorder i specifically had (anorexia) is heavily centered around fatphobia. societal desires to be skinny, as well as my own desire to be found pretty in the eyes of other people, drew me to developing an eating disorder that caused me to be severly underweight.

in my past, i see how my desire to be skinny was fatphobic. i absolutely understand that and im so incredibly sorry if my experience has brought anyone pain or harm.

since that time when i had anorexia, ive healed immensely. ive learned to love and accept all bodies and all people. even though my actions in the past have had fatphobic intentions, i can gurantee that i am not fatphobic now. ive tried my best to be an active advocate against fatphobia, to speak out against the biases towards skinny people in fanfiction.

i can claim everything i want, but claims can do nothing for you, and your opinion on me heavily relies on my actions. but my actions have shown otherwise, and in the process i have hurt many of my fat followers by the revelation of me previously owning a thinspo blog.

in the end, ive hurt many people today both intentionally and unintentionally and im truly sorry for my actions. i should have realized that my experiences with such topics should not be taken the same as others experiences, and my comfortability with jokes is not the same as others comfortability.

1.Vic3mage "the secret bjdivaz vip group is just pictures of boxes coming in and going out". Yeah, between the bitching about d0llshe, asking people to post on doa for them, dunking on ex-customers, posting pics of random doll parts that they can't identify which doll they're supposed to go with, whining about how little money they make, whining when ppl e-mail them, whining. Yeah, other than that it's just boxes, and alpacas u can buy off amazon anyway lol.

5. RE: BJD Divaz

I’ve been a customer of BJD Divaz since they first started, when it was only run by Chart3rline. I even contacted other BJD companies trying to persuade them to work with Divaz as their US representative. Most declined because they didnt like D's commission fee, but I was able to persuade a few of them.

I asked them to purchase a doll off DOA because I couldnt afford the asking price, and while they did, I found out later that instead of agreeing to purchase the seller's price, they negotiated the price to be lower. This significantly cheaper price was not passed down to me. I paid the full price +the commission fee based on that full price. I am disappointed I was not told this. This is when I stopped viewing them as a "friend" and instead, as a business. I dont hold this against them, it’s context to what Im going to say later.

I’ve stopped purchasing from D after my recent order from them. This company usually takes 3 or less months to make a doll. I’ve ordered the doll from D and it took 11 months. They let me know it arrived to them in March and that it will be shipped soon, except it only shipped on July, and only after I sent them several "reminder" emails. Before people in the comments try to put the blame on me for not sending a reminder soon, please keep in mind that I acknowledged the email in March and confirmed everything and they keep stressing to not send them emails because they are busy, I’ve emailed once every month since. I’ve since switched to ACBJD and Ive been happy with communication and the dolls ordered. I imagine ACBJD gets the same amount of emails, but they dont berate their customers if they email more than once.

I regret when people wanted a D0llshe, but not deal with him, I always recommended D. I would warn people of ordering directly and instead go through D. They assured buyers they would be handling communication and all the efforts so they wouldnt worry, except they didn’t. A person that I’ve recommended D to, who surpassed 2 years, keeps messaging me for help because D wouldnt reply to their emails. She is respectful, sweet and a timid person, not a Karen. This person, emailed D without a reply so would email a week later, only to be told that their email would be pushed down to the bottom if emailed again. No response, so she goes to FB and IG, who both tell her to email because they arent the person running orders. Finally got a response that they would get their refund, after D0llshe sends D's payment, but minus the PP fees. 3 months later and theres no refund, only a promise of them getting it later. Why is the customer missing out on fees when they have no doll? Customer emails d0llshe and he says he cant offer refund, because they didn’t order through them, which is understandable, but when all options are out for a customer, do you blame them for chargebacks?

If anyone files a chargeback, D will be blacklisting them from every company they rep, as in blacklisting you from buying direct from those companies. I urge everyone who has negative experiences with D to email the companies they rep instead of venting on confession blogs, and writing your experiences on social media. Make it count and send letters to the companies they represent, and please provide proof because they will try to make you out to be a liar.

Speaking of, they made vague posts on cl0ver singing for charging paypal fees, and that they offer guarantees as an official dealer, except when offering refunds, to non delivered products I might add, they are keeping the fees, and offered no help with d0llshe, even before they ended their dealership with them. Someone on DOA was told to not email them unless the wait time surpassed 1.5 years. They are even so petty that they post screenshots with the full name and address (dox) of the customer on purpose and then delete it out a day later as if they just realized their "mistake".

Before you try to make excuses for them about the fires, keep in mind, I am dealing with a business. The lower price negotiation with the DOA sale, I am in no way obligated to give them a pass or treat them as a friend when they made it clear that our relationship is strictly business. Their issues, are not my issues. D0lk got dragged for not shipping in time, others, including artisans, got dragged for being so late with communication and sending back refunds for cancelled orders. Why does D get to be exempt?

The supporters are the worst part of this, because of instead of being honest so D can improve, they support them for being "real". For example, look how micemage words it, to make it seem like this criticism is from one person, when there are people on addicts who didn’t have good experience. Check the bjd dealers tag here, you will see the supporters in the comments going off on any and all criticism of D. Some have sane comments, but the majority are cult like and try to identify the person venting as if it’s one person. Addicts deletes threads with criticism asking people to instead direct it to their feedback group; which lets be honest, no one is going to do because its "not that bad", and most dont want to join a new group, which is mostly dead.

This is my first and last confession on D, I’ve emailed each company they rep and told them my experience as well as contacting the 3 month wait company, with screenshots of my order, how they handled it, and the excuse they used to put blame on the company for being so late (package arrived march to D, 4 months to be shipped is on D, not the company). I’m not using company or order details because I know they are petty enough to try to identify me and publicly shame me like they have to others. This and the threat of suing is why not many people like to go public with their experience. They just keep feedback neutral, move on and never deal with again.

6. Listen, I can't take you seriously in regards to BJD!vas because you're posting on a confession blog. If you were serious, you would have posted in buyer beware groups, DoA reviews or the board to get things resolved, or you would have made a complaint to the BBB. And your language makes you come off more as someone with an agenda rather than someone who is trying to warn people. If shipping is the issue, stop buying with standard shipping and pay the extra price for express shipping. I saw one of you complain that it sat with them for 20 days; that's probably because you're not the only one and they more than likely have a queue to check and then ship out. Do mistakes happen? Yes, because we're human. I've been in this hobby for a few years now and it seems like most people know you're going to have to wait, sometimes even outside the expected wait time. And shipping something as big as a doll is a timely endeavor. I shouldn't have to say that.

My point is simply to stop complaining on an confession board and either take it to the places previously mentioned. Posting here behind the anonymous mask makes you sound like a petulant child who didn't get their way right away.

7.My only issue with BJD Divaz is how I never get any updates. Every email, they tell me to join their facebook page for status updates. I dont have a FB and I dont want to create one. I bought my doll through their website, updates should be posted on their website, or they could send me an email. That isnt asking much.

8. Since there seems to be a lot of either "completely negative everything sucks" or "everything was sunshine and rainbows" confessions about bjd!vaz I thought I'd chime in with a neutral review.

PROS

-They were always polite and professional in their emails, and gave me very detailed answers to my questions.

-I got exactly what I ordered, so no mix ups or missing parts or anything like that.

-I think them being forthcoming about personal issues (only one person on staff, illness, the flooding isue etc.) on social media is good, since it keeps customers updated as to why there might be delays.

-If you live in the US their shipping is very reasonable.

CONS

-Reply times were varied. Sometimes it could take over a week, sometimes a couple hours.

-My order took about 10mo which, when comparing to other people who ordered through the same company around the same time, was about 3x as long as if I bought it direct and 2x as long if I had gone through a different dealer. I get some of the waiting time is out of their control, but it was kind of ridiculous.

-They dont necessarily ship the same day they send you a tracking number. I wish they said something like, "Here's your tracking number, our pickup is Xday so it should start moving after that" just so I could be aware.

All in all no major complaints. I got my doll and all that. Their lone employee is clearly overwhelmed. I hope they hire another person, if only to give the one a break.

Truthfully, I most likely won't buy through them again. I'd rather pay the international shipping and go direct, than deal with the extensive wait time. I'd still recommend them to someone looking for a very long layaway, though. I paid in full, but if I had a 12mo layaway I would've never known they weren't ready to ship my doll until month 10.

There's some extra miscellaneous stuff and definitions/explanations under the cut, pertaining to some of his abilities

Amoscience:

Knowing everything about and sensing feelings of love/lust/other emotions and seeing potential relationships

Anchored deity soul:

He's not necessarily a god in a monster's body, but rather, his soul and/or spiritual essence is divine in origin, which grants him supernatural abilities on an almost god-like level. Because his deity soul is anchored, he'll be able to keep all his new powers, even if someone attempted to manipulate or alter his soul somehow

Mind/emotion reading:

It's unclear whether he's genuinely able to read minds, or if he's simply sensing emotions and connecting them to the context of a situation in order to piece things together

Relationship manipulation:

He can weave a potential love story (for lack of better words) for people, and he can guide them to each other, but he can't force them to be together

Then as far as punishing/cursing people, this is what I've got. I haven't worked anything specific out, but hey, it's a start ^^"

So I'm starting Season 2 of The Magnus Archives now, so I'm starting a new thread so I dont spam a 50-reblog-long thing at everybody. Only 20-reblog-long. With cuts this time. The tag is “sassysousa liveblogs TMA”

I am A MINUTE into episode 1 and I already have feels. Some of them are "aww", many of them are anger. At Jonathan. Shocker.

"Her ashes are on my desk. Or Martin gave me a jar of dust to calm me down."

SO MUCH! IVE GOT SO MUCH WITHIN LIKE TWO LINES OF THE EPISODE!

So either a) martin gave him the ashes, and Jane's dead, and Jonathan is losing it, or b) Martin gave him a jar of dirt dust, Jane's alive, aaand Jonathan is still losing it but will be proven right by the narrative later.

SO EITHER: Martin decided that Jonathan should have the ashes, which would have needed to be located, picked up, and brought back to Jonathan, OR, Martin decided that Jonathan needed SOMETHING, and so gathered enough dust of the correct quantity and consistency to conceivably pass as the remains of a whole human person, plus wormage, and then gave it to Jonathan. Who is unappreciative of any of this. Because of course he is.

OR. OR. The group as a whole decided "Jonathan isnt doing so well, we should do something" and then they decided, as a group, that Martin should be the one to give Jonathan the ashes, real or not.

Or Martin was their messenger whom they didn't mind if he got shot. *shrug*

There's just-- so much from that tiny line there.

"I tried to come back earlier, but Martin wouldn't hear of it. Almost threw me out of the archive."

Martin wouldn't hear of it! MARTIN! Not his BOSS, ELIAS, who we have on record as telling Jonathan "you're working too hard, go home", but MARTIN. MARTIN wouldn't hear of it! Martin, who was apparently already back at work himself!

Jonathan does not deserve Martin.

His fingers glided against her skin, fluttering up the soft, pillowy skin on her upper lip. Tracing up the Cupid bow that leads to her nose he gently lets his fingers find her cheek bone where he caressed it. A soft pink crept from under his fingers where they touched her ever so gently, spreading across her face until she was glowing beautifully. The girl averted her eyes trying to shy away from the man’s stare, his eyes were full of the light he saw in the woman and he bore the biggest smile.

“You know it’s really cold.” the girl spoke her voice quiet bringing her eyes to meet the man’s again. The man she was looking at was very handsome, he had shaggy dark brown hair parted in bangs that hug below his eyes and ears. It was wavy but you could still see his deep brown eyes staring from beneath it,he was marked with a tiny mole under his full lips, and his skin was so warm under the sun. The girl felt her insides flutter as she soaked in his features, his hand still outstretched with his hand on her cheek.

“I know.” his deep voice made her come alive, she brought her hand to place over his letting him feel how icy they had become. He jumped from her touch “ Ah! You really are cold” he laughed before taking ahold of her hand, wrapping it in the warmth from his own hand. “Let’s go inside”

Oliver stared at himself through a mirror in the suit’s store he and his partner Josh were at. His threaded suit had fit him perfectly even though he had been worried about the weight he gained over their holiday. Josh seemed to agree on this thought as he didn’t stop complimenting Ollie. These compliments in particular had Oliver quiet flushed, he’s not used to Josh being so publicly affectionate towards him. “ You look great, honestly I don’t know what to say. I’m charmed Ols, I’m charmed.” Trying to not blush in front of the camera, Oliver laughed it off but inside he was feeling rather flattered.

Now it didn’t help that Josh looked just as dashing in his suit, Oliver couldn’t keep his eyes off of him but he tried his best while they finished filming for their JOLLY channel. He did however slip in a few risky compliments towards Josh, earning him a few side glances and awkward laughs. Then at last it was the time for thank you’s and bows as they ended their episode.

“That’s all for today!” the two males said in Korean as they waved at their camera.

The camera was shut off and the suits had to come off and be packaged away for their award ceremony coming up. Josh took this time to express some of his thoughts about this episode to Oliver while removing his suit “ You look damn good seriously Ols. Honestly kind of horny right now.” This took Oliver by surprise as he quickly looked up from unfastening his belt “ oh my god Josh. I can’t believe you’re saying this while we’re still at the store! “ josh had began his typical seal laughing at this but Ollie kept going “ Master suit-nim isnt even a few meters away from us ! They know a fair bit of English too. Josh they probably know what horny means” Josh’s laughter just intensified at Oliver’s hysterics.

“Just hurry up and change Ols, before I decide to jump you.” Josh said as he giggled and continued changing and Ollie did the same.The sun beamed down on both men along with their crew outside of the shop while they packed away equipment.

A candle’s flickering flame provided a glowing light against wooden walls connected to a wooden ceiling. It’s reflection shun on a small circular window encased in to the wall. Muffled voices could be heard from different directions, as could the splashing of water and a faint creaking. What couldn’t be heard was the tears falling gently to the floor. A young woman sat with her back against a bed, her head staring between her hands. One was bandaged the other was a little scratched up, wounds from her recent battle.

She reached up to feel her shoulder, her fingers lightly tracing rough scarred skin. She winced from the sting her skin gave in response. Memories flooded into her head, causing her to grasp ahold of her shoulder to tightly squeeze it. Too much has happened this past week, even though her battle was won and she no longer had to fight against ‘Arlong’ , her mind hadn’t had the time to catch up. As she thought the name her fingers began to dig into the skin on her shoulder, a warm liquid trickled down her arm. ‘Why do I still feel this way?’ ‘My island and my family are safe finally... Because of Luffy.” This time as she thought of this name her grasp loosened from her shoulder and dropped to the floor.

She leaned her head back against the bed, a sigh escaped her lips. She closed her eyes and brought her other arm to cover them. ‘I need to sleep’ but she didn’t move until her door swung open, causing her to jump up, tripping and falling on her back into the bed. “What the hell?!” She looked up angrily to see which dumbass with no manners barged into a woman’s room. Only to find her captain looking down at her with a stupid grin on his face.

“Hey-a Nami! Are you going to come eat? “ he asked excitedly , then adding “Sanji told me I couldn’t eat until you did!” He pouted. Nami was too baffled to remember the state she had been in just a few moments ago. Her captain looked at her for a response, but noticed blood on her arm.

“Nami! Did you not treat all of your injuries??” his voice was full of concern “ that’s no good ! We don’t have a doctor yet”

Nami offered her captain a small smile, her hero, the one who saved her. She was truly happy to know him and to join his adventure but her heart was aching right now . It ached for all the pain she had kept bottled inside for so many years. Luffy noticed Nami’s face change for a moment before she spoke

“Yeah, It’s okay Luffy! I know how to treat my wounds, and no I’m not hungry. Just tell Sanji to let you eat or I’ll be mad.” She sat up and weakly shoved him towards the door. “I’m going to sleep, okay?” Luffy stumbled towards the door but didn’t leave, instead he bent over, putting his face right in front of Nami’s.

“Were you crying?” He asked curiously

“No.”

He touched her face which had felt wet then he frowned.

“Oh Noo, the pin will grandpa is going to kick my ass” he sighed with a pout. Nami didn’t know how to respond she just wiped her face off.

“Luffy, I’m okay. I’m really happy that you helped me, and told me that I’m your friend. Just ... a lot has happened.”

Luffy nodded as he sat down in front of Nami with his legs crossed.

“But why were you crying?”

“Are you sad?”

“Just a little “ she confessed but she hurried her face into her knees embarrassed to be.

“I’m sorry” she whispered, why should she be sad after everything Luffy has done for her.

Luffy only smiled as he fondly looked at his navigator, he understood sort of.

“Then it’s not time for me to have this back yet” he gently placed his straw hat on top of her head. “Nami, give it back to me when you feel better okay? I’m okay as long as I know that you have it. I’ll just protect you both! He said confidently. He then stood up dashing outside “ hang on just a second !”

Nami let out a light chuckle before looking back up into her room, her heart had gotten warmer while she gently tugged on the familiar scratchy straw sitting ontop of her head. Then her goofy captain reappeared before her , with bandages and ointment in his hands. He squatted down beside her shoulder before cleaning her wound. “Nami this is going to hurt for a bit but I promise you will be okay! “ he said as he tended to her wound.

“No I’m fine, but I might really hurt you” Dan pulled Phil’s wrist towards him, causing his chair to roll and collide into Dan’s. Phil fell forward his face landing in to his boyfriend’s chest. “Should I make you fall from your chair?” Dan placed his hand under Phil’s chin forcing him to look up at him. Phil merely smiled back causing Dan to finally give in, smiling he leaned in and captured Phil’s lips with his own.

Caught off guard Phil moaned into Dan’s mouth which surprised dan because that made him considerably hard. He growled in response before encasing Phil’s face inside of his large hands, they both allowed the kiss to deepen. Dan got too into the kiss, standing up to loom over Phil’s chair before slightly putting pressure on it causing it to tilt. Suddenly Phil fell backwards hitting his head against the floor causing him to groan painfully with annoyance, “Daan” he whines. The curly headed man knelt down besides Phil to kiss the side of his head then whispering “ I told you I’d make you fall, but since we’re both down here..” his hand grabbed the older’s thigh before he pulled back and laughed at Phil’s blushed face. “You’re so cute, let’s go to the bedroom.”

some of the tags on that 4chan post are so right, like... tumblr is extremely fucking sheltered compared to the shit i saw on 4chan at like 14 years old. i have infinite stories, some personal and some general. i had started visiting 4chan in late 2004—long before /r9k/ was even a board, back when /5/ was still a secret board and they had JUST taken /l/ down. that probably isnt even english to most people. basically i started visiting 4chan BEFORE i started playing world of warcraft. that’s how young i (and the site itself) was. i saw one of NCH85’s flash animations on deviantart and was directed to 4chan.

and that was even before 4chan became more “mainstream” after the “don’t mess with football” incident in 2007ish, when gaston and desu whatever became memes and all of a sudden there was some group of people taking “anonymous is legion. we do not forgive. we do not forget” to heart and very, very seriously, which is when all the v for vendetta mask shit started. before that it was just like “pool’s closed” and shit, which is a pretty innocuous but still incredibly offensive meme. the full phrase was “pool’s closed due to AIDS” from some homophobic fearmongering lifetime movie or some shit.

zippocat, cracky-chan, nevada-tan, and “babyfuck it’s awwright” were memes. shitting dick nipples was a meme. pedobear, “4chan party van”, and guilty gear’s bridget were memes. cockmongler and happy n*gro were memes. violent, homicidal, homophobic, transphobic, racist, pedophiliac, ableist, sexist, or just plain disgusting—it was regurgitated hundreds of times a day.

i think the average tumblr user would fucking faint if they saw half the shit i was exposed to on a daily basis as a teenager. AND THEY SHOULD. this isnt meant to be a posturing thing; it’s a testament to how fucking fucked up the place was/is and how white supremacy gaining real actual traction on the chons was pretty much inevitable. but even for “old” 4chan users, to genuinely care about anything on 4chan is also a noob move, and nazis are considered undesirables in that they are not in on the joke; the collective joke being that nobody on 4chan takes anything seriously or cares about anything, or, as the classic meme went, “Internet is serious business.”

overall 4chan’s focus was on desensitization to every degree. it made disenfranchised young dudes with zero power or skills or prospects feel like they were cutting their teeth in one way or another, upholding “lulz” as key currency. their naivete told them they were rational for hating everything, and their cynicism told them they were tough for being able to laugh at everything.

the infamous screenshot illustrating this is as follows:

If you didn’t catch the date, this was in 2005. this mindset founded the event horizon for the descent into white supremacy.

there was a SHITLOAD of funny shit on 4chan, and that was part of the allure and self-aggrandizement as well; if you could stomach all of the shit, you were rewarded with the cream of the crop, top quality memes and lulz. a good chunk of the internet as we know it was defined by 4chan. people were saying epic win/fail in 2004 and then it started appearing on tshirts in 2008. rage comics, reaction images, and one could even argue image macros (the classic terminology for a meme) were started on 4chan. part of the mentality was that the lack of censorship or filter allowed ANY content to thrive, made by anyone and judged by all, and therefore only truly worthwhile content survived (especially on /b/, where you could refresh a thread and it would already be sage’d, or bumped down, by reams of new threads).

but we still weren’t truly aware of what we were laughing at, whether it was considered ironic or not, hence poor pepe the frog being stolen as an alt-right symbol. I remember having to stifle my laughter during a history of racism lesson in my junior year of high school (~2007) because they had slides of resist dot org racist cartoons. they are comics by a white supremacist, chiefly anti-black and featuring racist caricatures, but they had gained new life on 4chan as memes like “bix nood” and others. edits were made reappropriating racist cartoons like “around blacks, never relax” into “around snacks [W.T. Snacks, a 4chan moderator known for swift banning practices], never relax” and “around elves, watch yourselves” with the caricature edited to have long ears.

in our minds, we were laughing at the artist for his racism and moronic ideas, but the fact of the matter was that we were still consuming, and laughing at, racist cartoons. (cue “you are not immune to propaganda”.) much as dave chappelle realized his satire was being consumed straightforwardly by racists and used to reinforce the stereotypes he was making fun of, a lot of people on 4chan took these comics at face value, especially now that their messages had been “updated” in a language they understood.

HOW I RUN MY BLOG

SPEED.

i get to it when i get to it. its as simple as that. i try not to force myself to write, sometimes i kind of have to with certain threads in order to get over a hump. but really i go through what i need, see if something inspires me, then write. things tend to domino effect afterwords and ill be able to spit out replies in quick succession before needing to sleep/do something else. because of that im all over the place with who i reply to. i also like to actually do things other than rp (draw/vidya gayme) alongside school work so... speed is really not my thing. lmfao

REPLIES / DRAFTS.

i draft everything and, like above, get to it when i get to it. my replies are extremely affected by music and what i’m listening to at the moment among other things (books, quotes, etc.) i will literally spend 10min in finding a song for me to write to that matches what i want to get (and if i really cant find any i just slap KAIRI on). a lot of my writing is winging it and i dont particularly plan stuff out. i might think about certain ways to reply in the shower or when i’m idle, but often it comes to me on a spur of the moment and i just WRITE and hope for the best. but hey, it hasn’t failed me!

STARTERS.

i’m quickly learning that i’m awful at starters and i’m now kind of avoiding making them. now i just go off of ask replies/ask memes and generally go from there. it isnt that i dont like putting in the effort but im just Awful at starting stuff unless i am PARTICULARLY INSPIRED by something thats been in my head. unfortunately these tend to be for specific rpers and at that point i just go to them and shoot it back and forth (i am also very bad with keeping up at messages on tumblr so if i ever just dont reply back its me being extremely forgetful). overall? im awful at them. does this mean i wont do them? no, but don’t expect something amazing.

INBOX.

i have a lot in my inbox. stuff i save for later or just didn’t get to. if i need to i’ll delete older asks thats just been growing dust and are way past their expiration date. it isnt that i dont want to interact its just that nothing has hit me that i will produce something worthwhile. i dont like clutter and even though i have a lot of asks in my ask box right now, it hasnt gotten to the point where i wont reply to any of them. art asks are ust going to be kept in my back pocket in case i need a warmup or im feeling particularly motivated but uninspired to draw. i also tend to keep asks from people that are positive in case i need a pick me up.

SELECTIVITY.

i will follow pretty much anyone. if i like your characterization ill stay, but sometimes ill unfollow if i a) become uninterested b) you are starting shit or c) im just not feeling the waves anymore. it isnt so much to insult but i like keeping a dash that i enjoy scrolling through when im bored. we dont really need to interact but it would be a plus. generally i just ride the waves and see what happens, as with everything on this blog.

WISHLIST.

ive a couple. but one thing i want to explore is the what ifs. specifically if marluxia managed to control sora and take over the organization. alternatively broke away from the org and created his own organization for himself. it would be interesting to see how different things would have gone with 5 different groups (xehanort, maleficent, trios, MoM, mar) going for largely different things. especially how having sora out of the mix would completely ruin some ppl’s plans. idk. i’d just like to explore that. and another thing i’d like to explore is just talking about how marluxia is doing awful things for an ultimate greater good. not excusing his shitty manipulative actions but how he just wants his heart back in the same way (kh2 characterization) xemnas wants his heart back and having to do ultimate evils to accomplish it.

although i love talking to others and sharing in the fun i am just as human as the rest of you guys. i get overwhelmed, i have a lot of school, and that takes priority over everything. im here to have fun, get better at writing, and make some friends. if i ignore you, drop a convo, im not mad at you im just actually busy lol. be nice to me and ill be nice to you.

its time for me to talk about these people. eevee has been on mastodon.social for awhile now and glip just joined awoo.space. i thought for awhile people were not aware of any sort of claims against eevee or who they were affiliated with, but ive begun to realize that in fact no. people are actually aware of the claims, theyre just only hearing eevee's side of it because of his place in the tech community. im fed up fediverse. ive lost countless friends and communities for this, so even though i hate having to be the one to do it, here it comes regardless.

this thread will compile verifiable evidence (aka "not screenshots"). i am not going to speak on the current legal allegations which may never be confirmed/denied, only actions which are archived and shouldnt be overlooked when considering their involvement in our community. i will not be speaking on the issue with marl. marl stayed behind the scenes, i suspect theres a reason for it but that can only be speculation on my part. marl is not on mastodon so im focusing on eevee and glip right now.

to preface this i feel the need to remind everyone that these people have following and support. this is probably self evident but im not just trying to throw anyone under the bus because i dont like them. eevee is a moderately well known programmer/website host and glip is a successful artist. both of them have been around online for a long time, so personally im not gonna hear that theyre the sole victims of 4chan smear campaign. this is the result of long term bad behaviour.

im not here to laugh at these people. i dont think theres anything funny about this situation. i am being as wordy as possible because i see these people being wordy as hell to cover it up too. if youre willing to read their paragraph long posts on patreon pleading for acceptance on behalf of their "poor cute oddball family," you can read this too.

im a completely uninvolved party, but i think they pose a real threat. the extent of my involvement is that i was a fan of glip when they were known as PK (okay bear with me i am bad at numbers/time but i think i was aged 14-15 or something probably), i was not involved in PMD-E and i didnt go to their servers. later i found their porn blog, by then i was around 18-19 at the time i think, so i just wrote it off as "gross," because while im not a fan of porn in the first place i especially think its uncomfortable to see it with childhood based characters. its one of those things i wouldnt have thought about as a minor but i began to realize as i aged. whatever, anyways.

it was only after i stopped following them that i discovered what was going on. so this isnt any kind of grudge, i assure you. i will refer the kiwifarms thread but i took no part in it. ive never met or talked to these people and i never will. also before you suggest it, no im really not going to try to talk to them. countless people have tried to talk to them. i have read many of their posts and claims. i do not trust them. i am staying the fuck away from them.

i know people are invariably going to say to me "well kiwifarms dug this up so you cant trust it!" and to a degree i get it. i do not support kiwifarms for their harassment and mob mentality in general. they are hugely homophobic/transphobic and if it were not for the "funny drama" i think they would have ignored the fact that glip drew child porn as well because they dont give a fuck about lolicon/shotacon.

but i am not going to throw information under the bus just because of where it came from, these people are riding on the hope that people wont be willing to dig through tons of information from kiwifarms to uncover what theyve done. people NEED to pay attention to this if theyre going to have these people in their circles. the admins of awoo.space and mastodon.social are to be held responsible for giving these people platform. these people cannot undo the harm which they've willfully perpetuated, no amount of apologies can ever make up for this. get them out of our spaces.

this thread will not be a complete example of their behaviours by any means and i do believe the kiwifarms thread has a lot of it which should be looked at and accounted for when judging this. i believe they have been a danger to children on the internet for a long time in more ways than one. i think it started as smug/dramatic deviantArt personalities and grew into something hideous. there are accounts of them harassing and making fun of other artists and children (and i still see them doing it), but i am focusing on the more immediately harmful stuff.

finally i would like to remind people that this entire group of people has stuck together through these allegations, for that reason i feel we shouldnt overlook eevee’s actions for glip’s, or glip’s actions for marl’s. theyre all aware of whats going on and this is only going to give them more leeway when being faced with these serious problems. they’re going to rely on each other for as long as they can slide by doing that.

Although he is an older boy he still likes to play with some toys at times. He enjoys short walks on leashes and usually sleeps all day in his bed. Max has been kept indoors only and eats only dry food. He likes to eat treats but not often. He is house-trained and is accustomed to using a wee wee pad inside of the bathroom of a home.
