Sometimes I find it scary how much I love.

How much beauty I can find in things.

Like- I love people so much.

I love so much it hurts.

I love how one of my friends has braces that show whenever she smiles.

I love how she has acne and its scars all over her face as if they're painted onto her.

I love how another has a big, hooked nose and curly hair and she always squints when she laughs.

And I love how she laughs like there's nothing wrong in the world.

I love how one of my other friends has a button nose and the most expressive eyes.

I love his curly hair and the way he shows his creativity.

I love how yet another has long, straight hair, and a rounder face and body and the softest voice.

She's the gentlest person I know; a picture of serenity.

I love how my best friend is the greatest person to be around and how we have so much in common.

I love how we never have dull days and how he's never failed to make me laugh.

This love for people isn't sexual or romantic and I doubt it ever will be.

If I'm attracted to them, it's like being attracted to an airborne melody in a busy, crowded place.

There is so much going on around you, you should have more important things-

but you find yourself wanting to chase that blissful song.

Where it goes, you follow.

It can be scary for me sometimes.

How much I can love people.

So I think it is easier sometimes to express my love for other things.

I love colors and nature and all sorts of things that are okay to love- a concept I've never gotten, because why on Earth would you only ever care for some things? - and I love them all so deeply .

I love how I can express myself.

Through letters that make sentences and sentences that make paragraphs and paragraphs that make stories.

Stories of love and loss and people and places and fictional fantasies that I think of and share.

And they are real, because I feel them.

I love how art is everywhere and how people can show others how they feel.

I listen to music in languages I don't know and look at paintings from countries I've never heard of.

It's beautiful how emotion has no borders.

I love simple things too.

But how can anything be truly simple?

Everything has a bit more to it.

I love the sound of rain and the smell of candles and the way both feel like home.

I love how I hold my pencil when I write and how my hand cramps up when I do it for too long.

But for some reason, love- deep and unconditional love- is seen as foolish and gullible.

It's for teenagers who believe in soulmates and children who believe in fairytales.

I know how this world works. I've been hurt by it more times than I can count.

I will keep loving it anyway.

I will love the world until my heart stops beating.

I'm not religious- but I'll love it from beyond the grave if I can.

This is a broken, hurt world. It needs tenderness, compassion.

I don't care if others think it doesn't deserve it.

So, yes. It hurts me to love people.

But it hurts me more to see them unloved. People are my world.

So I'm writing this, hoping that maybe someone can see their world through my heart.

See the thing is with streaming its going to die regardless, yes companies handing out less contracts is killing it further but its already dying at a fast rate? I'm not a stream hater either btw I really enjoy them but like. For example. 2020, 2021? When school was remote and I only ever worked mornings because of covid hours? I was clocked into that Philza 8hr stream DAILY. I was scheduling my classes around those streams so I could do homework while listening/watching. Went as far as to use my monthly speaking privilge to ask Phil what date British Daylight Savings began so I could keep my schedule clear. The second everything was no longer remote, and store hours went back to normal, I maybe caught 2, 3, maybe 4 streams in that year before I decided enough was enough about QSMP and I LOVE hardcore content.

From a company standpoint I can see why YT may not be interested in handing out streamer contracts anymore. Like Dreamie and a few others they're recognizing the Covid Number Boom is over- but unlike Dreamie, because theyre a corporation, they can't just "stick it out" and "recelebrate milestones". They have a "bottom line" to protect and they're not getting that same sweet sweet ad revenue from streams because of decreased viewer counts. Esp bc people don't just go back and watch vods unless there's a REAAAALLY good reason to. So no ad viewership there either. They're going to go back to relying on videos (and unfortunately probably shorts as well, I hate the tiktok-ification of every socmed site) to keep their ad revenue up, especially with the battle of ad blockers. I see more ad and monitization deals being handed out.

With streams (bc vod watching is lowkey practically nonexistant) not being in high demand bc of time constraints (happening while busy, timezones issues) the demands for videos will be higher as videos are ALWAYS readily available. Someone uploads at midnight your timezone? I mean it'll be there when you wake up, you won't have "missed" anything like you would have a livestream. Get a video schedule set out and you're GOLDEN- the first thing I do when I get home from work is check if a handful of youtubers have uploaded to put on to watch. If not, I rewatch some of my fav vids.

Also psychologically I actually think this is for the better of all CCs as a whole. Streaming, esp for some of the hourly requirements some of these ppl either HAVE to hit to get paid or WILLINGLY put themselves through (Tubbo) you have to wear your persona the ENTIRE time. You have to make sure you don't slip up that ENTIRE time. You have to be entertaining the ENTIRE time. You have to filter yourself because it's all live. To me this just sounds like what I do on a daily basis masking my audHD and that shit is so tiring and it's why I could NEVER be a streamer. If you're recording videos you can control what goes out. You don't have to wear whatever persona you decide to put on for 8hrs for a stream, you can record 3 hours of footage and then be done for the day, and that can either be one video or multiple depending on a lot of factors. Accidentally say your mom's name? Cut the clip. Bit isn't funny? Cut the clip. They will still have to actively filter themselves yes but for a much less amount of time. In the end CCs will have a lot more mind power that they're not using up to take care of themselves. I genuinely think it's psychologically better for them all.

It's unfortunate that the streaming industry is going to collapse this way. But also seeing how the communities heavily affected by streaming are more drama filled than communities w/o streaming, I'm lowkey hoping it's for the best. Pulling the plug like this imo is a mercy kill.

And now I'm gonna wash my mouth out for all that corporate speak I just used. Sorry for the manifesto. And if someone wants to put this manifesto on reddit idc just crop/block any usernames IG

I appreciate the essay-andy-ing these are interesting thoughts! I don't think the streaming scene will collapse entirely but I do think that it will become more advantageous to be a youtuber because people have found that to be the most consistent for many years as a CC rather than streams which require a lot of additional things (like you mentioned)

And I feel like we are seeing quite a few people say they're going to prioritize youtube more in the future which seems to be the beginning of that transition

I am curious if twitch will ever try to keep certain big-viewer streamers on the platform with 'kick-style' ($$$$) contracts.

His body is protesting him waking up. His head is pounding and his legs feel like jello. Somehow he manages to get up right and blindly grabs his phone. It’s only then does he remember the night before.

Of sad drinking, sitting in silence that he actually hates. And posting a video to his TikTok that only has two followers. As he flips his phone on he notices the number of notifications and missed calls.

There’s several missed calls from Robin alone and two from Dustin.

It’s the notifications from texts that really wake him up. His hands are shaking as he taps open the first one from Nancy of all people, ‘what is going on? Was that about us?’

He scrolls the other ten messages from the kids all with various questions and concerns. Then he reaches down to Robin’s message and all it says is, ‘oh Dingus’

Right underneath her message is the seemingly endless notifications from TikTok. Usernames he doesn’t recognize having liked the video of his, then some with comments. Tapping on one notification that says ‘that was heartbreaking’ and his heart nearly shatters when it opens to the video he started weeks ago and finally posted.

Of a song he’s been working on for the last two months, that makes him break the more he thinks about it.

As he reads through the comments, all with various ways of the first heartbreaking one. Questions of who the song could be about and if the singer was okay and who he was. The number of likes is making his head spin, the number of followers is making his head spin.

Last night he only had Robin and Dustin as followers. Now he has a number he didn’t think possible for him, especially when he made the profile just because Robin bugged him into making it. Even then, she’s the one who came up with his username and the description/bio that says nothing but his pronouns with a rainbow. He hasn’t gotten around to changing it to anything else relating to himself, doesn’t even know where to even start.

As he’s staring at his page, his phone dims and immediately lights back up when his phone rings with another call from Robin.

Hello! Apologies for bothering you. I’m here to warn you of an a user called Mothziiidk. They have an account here on tumblr, as well as X/Twitter.

For the past few months she reposted mine and my friend’s artwork on her TikTok page (same username is also Mothzii). They were all uncredited. Some were hantengu clone x clone art (I don’t ship incest and I don’t ship them as brothers fyi!) and she would make fun of it. She would make fun of my art too. The least she was asked to do was to either take down the posts or give credit, but she said “no” and said we needed “medical help”. The insults were terrible. I had to reach out to her mutual to beg for those posts to be taken down. Thankfully they were.

However recently she supports a user in this fandom named Kyoten19 (twitter). This person told my friend to k1ll themself for saying Karaku is a pleasure clone. That same friend was also a SA survivor and was already going through mental health issues. When Mothzii was made aware of this, she said it was “cute” and even defended kyoten by brushing it off as a “joke” when the other person was clearly hurt.

Words cannot describe the hurt me and my friends felt through this. She harasses and bullies people when they’re just minding their own business, and calls them racist if anyone draws hantengu even a tad bit lighter skin. She harassed minors on Pinterest too (you can see it when you look up her username “_Mothziiidk_” on Pinterest) She also reposts art there with no credit. She even called my friend a whore for liking cloncest (not shipping as brothers). If you draw your own oc x canon, she will be very kind to you in hopes of getting free art from you.

I just wanted to warn you of this user just in case you decide to interact.. Safest regards ❤️

Oh, no no, dw, friend. I've interacted with said person before without knowing but was luckily informed of what type of scum bitchzii is by another friend (they ignored me btw after I politely asked for criticism but I don't need an asshole's advice). BUT, I did not know about Kyoten. I follow that person on tt and quite enjoy their content. Shame what type of shit person they ended up being.
