i seriously want to know what weird random person went onto the glee wiki and decided santana lopez was a virgo
As far as I know it's all the fault of that one random joke from The Power of Madonna that contradicts itself about Santana's birthday being just before/after Finn's, whose birthday was confirmed at some point I guess? But since the joke contradicts itself I always found it silly when people take it too seriously.
Real ones of course know that Santana's clearly a Scorpio. How could this girl be anything else? Get real.

How do RO's feel about hickeys? Both giving and receiving
Ash
Giving: Definitely yes 👏 They love to let everyone know that MC is theirs.
Receiving: Kinda indifferent and if it’s MC’s thing, then sure, they don’t mind at all 😆 They’re not really shy being seen with hickeys because they just simply don’t care what other people think.
Rin
Giving: Doesn’t really mind. Where they’ll put the hickeys depends on their mood. But in general, they would probably put them in places that can easily be hidden simply because they are a private person and don’t really find the prospect of strangers having any knowledge about their intimate life appealing.
Receiving: They’re not really a big fan simply because of the reason above. They would complain if MC decided to give them one AND MC BETTER PUT IT SOMEWHERE EASILY HIDDEN 😤
Santana
Giving: Indifferent. They’d prefer to rain soft kisses on MC instead of leaving marks 🫣
Receiving: Kinda indifferent as well. They don’t mind if MC decided to plant some, just please try to leave them somewhere hidden because it’d be just embarrassing to go to work with those on full display 😳
Skylar
Giving: Heck yeah! Is giving hickeys one of the love languages? Because if so, then it’s definitely theirs 😂
Receiving: Still heck yeah! They would not even try to hide it or anything and would proudly walk with them visible. MC’s love is not something to be ashamed of.

AU game!! Quinn and Santana interacting after their hookup. Minimal angst plz😭
What do you MEAN no angst? Do you understand who I am?? Okay fine I’ll be nice…
Quinn texts Santana when she gets back to Yale. Nothing significant. Just ‘home safe.’ Santana responds with ‘So?’ They both smile like idiots over the exchange for a lot longer than they should.
After the wedding, their texts become more frequent but remain totally innocent. That is, until Santana gets wine drunk with Berry one night and ends up sexting Quinn while she’s studying in her dorm. Quinn plays along and things get… heated. The next morning they act like nothing ever happened (they sext again the following weekend).
When Santana starts dating Dani, she calls Quinn immediately and they have one of those beautifully angsty, subtext-ridden conversations where Santana pretends to be asking for advice on how to tell Brittany and Quinn pretends to give advice. ‘If Brittany still cares about you at all, she’d want you to be happy.’ ‘Does she? Care about me, I mean.’ ‘She couldn’t stop if she tried.’
They don’t talk for months after that.
The first time they interact in person again is weird. Quinn drops by New York to visit everyone one weekend, and walks into the loft to find Dantana going at it, half naked on the couch. Quinn finds herself unexpectedly flustered and immediately puts her foot in her mouth.
Quinn: *trying not to look at Santana* There’s a sight I never thought I’d see again.
Dani: Oh, you must be Brittany.
Santana: No, this is Quinn. She’s my… other best friend.
Quinn: The non-ex girlfriend one. Although truth be told we have also had sex.
Santana *panicking*: It was like, a one time thing.
Quinn: Until we decided to make it a two time thing.
Santana: But that was all.
Quinn: Of course. Unless you count sexting, which we did a lot of for several months afterward.
Santana: Quinn!
Quinn: What?
Dani: Wow.

What would you do if you’re a Showrunner/writer on glee?
I don't think i have the abilities and qualifications to write a tv show, but i notice when the writers are becoming lazy and when there are flaws in the writing bc these flaws arrive at the spectator who watches the show. One the first things i would do is make faberry canon like it was intended in the first script of glee (there was a script before the pilot in which the popular cheerleader fell in love with the girl loser of the school, but the idea/project was abandoned). I would give more space to wlw pairings bc while the mlm rep in glee was diverse and deepened, the wlw rep was okay thanks to brittana but had too little screen time. So i would make two wlw pairing (faberry and brittana) have more development and space in the show. I would defo treat quinn's character arc way better than ryan murphy, i wouldn't have throwed that character in the trash after s3, i would have developed her personal story more and her relationship with rachel. Quinn is a very queer coded character, so i would have prob given more space to her journey of coming to terms with her sexuality (prob would have made her a lesbian who struggled a lot with comphet in highschool bc of her rigid catholic upbringing). I also would not make quinn end up with her r@pist (puck got her drunk to have sex with her even though she didn't want to, the consent was basically nonexistent and pretty dubious so that's why i consider him a rapist).
Another change i would make is give more performances to characters like santana and mercedes bc as much as i love rachel, i feel like amber's and naya's talent were underused. I would have given less solos to kurt and more to them.
I would also make rachel bisexual cos there's no way that girloser does not like women, and what i would do is make her "experiment"/have a sort of friendship with benefits with Santana in s4 cos before they broke apart they were pretty close and had a nice intimacy and chemistry, Santana had broken up with Brittany, so i think a thing between them in which rachel full blown realises she likes girls too (and later realises she had always been in love with quinn/had a crush on quinn since highschool) and Santana trying out different bonds with girls before understanding she wants brittany only, would have been nice to make both characters grow and mature.
I would keep the quinntana one night stand bc i feel like that was really important for quinn to finally accept she liked girls and therefore that rachel had always been the one she really wanted. But how would that work if you plan to make Santana bang both rachel and quinn ? Well i would simply make rachel a thing with santana at the end of s4, after santana and quinn's one night stand (it doesn't even have to be necessarly sex or a physical relationship, but a bond in which rachel starts to see santana in a different light and finds her really hot and starts questioning herself and santan teases her about it but also gives her a wake up call "you're bi gayberry" or something like that, these are the two options).
I would keep kurt and blaine as they are but i wouldn't have made blaine have a thing with karosfky, that was just foul.
Also less performances from mr. Schue bc what the fuck was blurred lines.

With the Quinn/Santana/Rachel dynamic - as much as I don't want to 'bring race/identity politics into it', optics matter and there is something sinister about a POC character being retconned as the 'ringleader' instead of the conservative, conventionally attractive blonde white girl who pretty much gets a pass. as popular as Santana is, she does get a lot of the blame for stuff that Quinn said thanks to revisionist history (obvs leaving Britt out of it because she never liked Rachel anyway).
Oh no Anon please do because way too often fandom discussions take this colourblind approach as if race isn't a HUGE part of Quinntana's perception
I have to admit that's a bit of a different approach than I would have but valid nonetheless. There are just so many layers of this and Glee considers exactly none of them. I'm endlessly fascinated and saddened by Rachel always giving Quinn the benefit of the doubt but somehow never completely finding it within herself to extend the same to Santana. I mean case in point, as far as 5x18 Rachel assumes of Santana what she'd never of Quinn. I think Quinn started out as that ultra-WASP bully as part of the satire (and I have other asks to get to about that oops) and the optics of that were her uber-privileged ass bullying the outcast overeager Jewish girl. But then of course not only was Quinn's privilege, well, sort of examined (wow that's me being VERY generous with the show) but the sidekick Latina was promoted to main. And truly, a lot of the time Glee didn't know what to do with that. See Dr. Lopez and his amazing insurance but Santana being from "the wrong side of the tracks". And that's not to even mention Glee having no idea how to treat Santana as being anything other than Vaguely Latina™ even when Naya herself was mixed-race Afro-Latina, but identities like that were too complex for Glee's token mentality. Anyway the result is, like you say, Santana retroactively getting the blame not only for the things she should be called out for but Quinn's bullying, even though Quinn was very much the Alpha Bitch at the beginning.
I think the most glaring instance of how differently the show itself treats Quinntana based on race, and by extension so does the fandom, is the commentary on appearances/sexuality. Feels like it's been a while but I have gone on many times about how Quinn, blonde Euro-centric definition of beauty Quinn is pretty and less sexualized than Santana even when the show explicitly mocks the irony of her getting knocked up. But Santana is never pretty, just "hot" and sexualized in a very heteronormative way loooong after she comes out as a lesbian. Post for another day?
Then there's also the many racist undertones of the Pezberry feud itself, from mocking Santana's Hispanic heritage to the insistence that she's "lazy". Yikes. Actually all three main WOCs get put into this faux meritocracy narrative in opposition to Rachel (West Side Story, Props, Funny Girl) but that's (another) story for another day.

Someone disguises as MC to dig out information from the ROs *gasp* Can they figure it out before it's too late?
I’m just going to picture that the impersonator has doppelgänger ability like Cara’s or illusion one like Yvette’s, so they look almost or even indistinguishable from MC physically 🤔
I’d like to think, of course, that all of them once they actually get together with MC or know them good enough (namely Santana and Skylar), would be able to figure out that it’s not the real MC they’re talking to. But the speed of which they notice and find out would differ 😆
Ash
Might be the one who knows MC the best out of all the ROs, and thus, might be the first one to notice first hints of irregularities. But also at the same time, they would probably be the one who gives the fake MC the benefit of the doubt a bit.
They might ask the fake MC what’s wrong or whether they’re feeling okay. But with more weird behaviour, they will quickly become suspicious and wary, and then they will finally figure it out—could’ve been faster if not for their complete trust in MC, but they will figure it out just in time.
Rin
At the very first hint of weird behaviour or attitude from MC, no matter how minor, they’re immediately suspicious. They’ll then proceed to subtly test and talk with the fake MC about memories or things that only real MC would know, putting the fake one’s ass on the grill.
Would totally be the first one among the ROs to figure out because of this.
Santana
Probably would take them more time than Ash and Rin to start noticing something weird, especially when they’re tired, but once they do, they’ll immediately be suspicious and on guard just like Rin.
At first, if the inconsistency is minor enough, they might chalk it up to them or MC just simply being tired or running on low sleep. But if it happens again or a more major inconsistency happens, they would immediately become alert, but also wouldn’t let the potential fake MC know that they’re onto them.
They’d prod around subtly, trying to gauge the fake MC’s reactions to some things they know MC has strong feelings about. Or, if they want to be 100% sure, they’d probably try to activate their power on MC.
Would probably take a bit longer than Rin, but would be able to figure it out pretty quick (depending on how exhausted they are at the time). What kind of detective would they be if they failed 😭
Skylar
Probably would be the last to find out among the ROs, not because they’re not familiar with MC or anything, but they love to gush to MC everything about their day or something they find interesting 😭
Hence, the impostor can kinda go under the radar a bit just by listening to their stories and commenting on it every once in a while. But actually, depending on the type of person your MC is, that can be the impostor’s downfall as well.
And also, Skylar’s talkativeness might also end up revealing the impostor because imagine if the impostor didn’t have a pretty strong reaction to Yvette while the real MC hates her or something 🤔
I feel like that’s how they would end up figuring out the impostor. It is definitely slower than the others, but they would know. Once they become suspicious, they’d still act as if they don’t know, just all smiles and lulls the impostor into a false sense of security before cornering and confronting them later on.

for the ships grid:
- quinn & santana
- artie & kitty
- kurt & sam
feel free to do these as platonic or romantic >:))
Tumblr media
all really good choices omg. i’m gonna default to romantic unless specified otherwise
quinntana: i actually really enjoy these two!! i love that they hooked up in i do and it’s probably my fave quinn ship.
wildebrams: an unconventional choice maybe, but i appears thought they were cute. they’re two of my problematic faves so i guess it makes sense. i like it better than some other kitty ships with og glee clubbers *cough cough*
hevans: anyone who knows me knows that i ride the “hevans deserved better than they got” train. they were always so sweet to one another but finn had to go and ruin it. also sam made macaroni art of kurt?? if that’s not love then what even is really
send me more ships!!

Any chance for snixmas we can have head cannons of santana and quinn in the future and how their jobs intersect with their relationship?
Merry Snixxmas!
*Since there are sooooooooooo many possible Quinntana futures out there I’m going with a personal fave: Publicist Santana and Author Quinn get together as adults after not seeing each other for like ten years. I also made this up as I went along & accidentally spun it into a mini fic rather than just HCs which is totally not what you asked for sorry sorry sorry…
Their jobs are actually how they reconnect again. Sort of. Santana’s at an event for one of her clients (asshole actor) and Quinn happens to be dating said asshole actor. Santana does not realise this at the time, because the actor is an asshole and failed to tell his publicist he was dating someone new (a famously devout Christian author, at that!) before bringing her to a highly publicised industry event. It’s a whole thing. Quinntana end up squabbling in front of the press and a picture of them yelling at each other makes the tabloids.
They meet up to do damage control. Asshole actor (let’s call him Adam) is a no-show. Quinn is impressed by Santana’s entourage of assistants and how far she’s come in the ten years since they lost touch. Santana reluctantly admits the same of Quinn, even if she’s not buying the whole ‘born-again’ religious thing. Quinn neither confirms nor denies that she’s using her religion to make a name for herself as a writer. They make peace once Santana explains why she reacted the way she did, make a plan to manage the bad press, then end up going out to lunch afterwards to catch up.
The plan goes out the window immediately when another photo of them at lunch makes the tabloids - specifically, of them hugging goodbye for a little longer than they probably should’ve. Speculation abounds for different reasons this time…
Adam is not happy. He tries to fire Santana over it, which gets her into trouble with the higher ups because he’s a major account. She goes to his house to make amends but Quinn opens the door and they get snapped by the paparazzi again. What a mess.
Adam is stupid and believes all the rumours. He breaks up with Quinn, drops Santana as his publicist and outs Quinn to the media as a lesbian. Quinn is shook. Particularly when it jeopardises the upcoming book tour for her latest novel: ‘Straight & Narrow: My Journey Back Into Faith.’
Quinn’s publisher is furious, but at Quinn’s insistence they believe her when she says it’s all a big misunderstanding. Santana meets with the publisher to assure them that Quinn is telling the truth and offers her services pro-bono. They reject her offer and make an obtuse, incredibly offensive comment about her sexuality in the process. Santana looks to Quinn, but Quinn doesn’t defend her. They have a very tense goodbye and stop speaking after this.
Meanwhile by sheer coincidence, Quinn bumps into Rachel Berry, of all people, at another writer friend’s birthday party. They too have not seen each other in years but Rachel is promoting her new autobiography ‘Barbra and Me: How a Legend Inspired an Icon’ so they have friends in common again. Rachel pretends not to see Quinn at first (in a very obvious Rachel way where she absolutely DID see her), and when Quinn finally catches up with her admits that Santana is actually her publicist and she knows all about what went down between her and Quinn. She’s firmly on Santana’s side in all of it, and politely informs Quinn that straight women don’t have sex with their female friends on Valentine’s Day. Let alone twice. Quinn is floored.
Life goes on. Quinn’s book tour is a success but she very quickly begins to feel like a fraud. During a bookshop Q&A someone asks her what it’s like to be mistakenly associated with someone ‘like Santana,’ and when she realises what they’re getting at something inside her snaps. She outs herself this time. Owns her sexuality for the first time in her life, says she’s been with a woman, that the woman was Santana, and that she had such a great time they did it twice. She voices her regret about a lifetime wasted on the Adams of the world to a room full of press, then walks out. Book sales be damned.
Obviously, Quinn’s publisher drops her. But she doesn’t care. She starts writing a new book almost immediately, an honest one this time. A fiction piece about a girl from a Christian household who spent so long trying to be good she lost sight of what good really was. Good is integrity, good is kindness, good is… a made up word determined entirely by the subjective opinion of the individual. It’s also the working title of her new book until she thinks of a better one.
Santana hears about Quinn’s Q&A epiphany through the grapevine (Rachel) and is quietly impressed. That is, until she hears another rumour that the new work Quinn is shopping around to publishers heavily features a lesbian character from the wrong side of the tracks who serves as both best friend and antagonist to the main character. Seeing red, Santana has her executive assistant secure a copy of the manuscript at all costs.
Santana doesn’t have time to read, so she has her assistant do it for her. What she doesn’t expect is to walk into her office the next morning to find said assistant sobbing over the final chapter. He tells her it’s something she should read for herself, and between that and all the crying Santana is sufficiently disturbed enough to decide she will ABSOLUTELY avoid reading it altogether. She snatches the manuscript, tracks down Quinn’s address and ambushes her after work that night instead.
Quinn gets an offer from a small independent publisher for a limited print run, which she celebrates by opening a bottle of wine and drinking alone in her apartment. When there’s a knock at her door, the last thing she expects is to find Santana standing there, red-faced, waving her own manuscript in her face. She lets Santana rant for a while about betrayal and exploitation and the like, then politely requests that she read the book before passing further comment. Then, she closes the door in Santana’s face.
Santana goes to see Rachel that weekend, who is surprised because honestly Santana never makes social calls anymore. She then sits there while Rachel reads the book all day instead (Rachel actually had other plans that day but you try telling an angry Santana that...). When she reaches the final chapter Rachel starts tearing up, and when Santana asks her WHY, begins reading aloud. It turns out Quinn’s book is a tale of lost love, of the ‘could’ve been’ - of a brief moment in time with the one that got away, and the years long struggle that followed the main character as she continued to deny the truth of who she was and who she loved. By the time Rachel finishes reading it is abundantly clear that the ‘one who got away’ is based on Santana.
Santana goes to Quinn’s apartment again. This time, she’s furious for a different reason. How dare Quinn misrepresent their friendship like that. How dare she misrepresent Santana??? She says Quinn is just as much a fraud as she always was - she’s just swapped manipulating Christian readers for sales to manipulating vulnerable teens instead. Shame on her, she says. Shame. On. Her. Quinn shuts her up by kissing her.
They start dating, slowly at first because Santana is still waiting for the other shoe to drop. Six months later, they finally make it official. Quinn’s book is a hit, in part thanks to the whisper campaign Santana sets up in her spare time because her publisher can’t afford to promote it properly and Santana simply cannot sit idly by while the best book she’s read in years flops. They become a bit of a power couple after that - Santana continuing with her day job as a publicist to the stars but using her skills and connections to quietly support Quinn’s career wherever she can too. Quinn holds her own just fine though. She carves out a lovely little niche for herself as a YA author, and is a regular guest at talks, panels and fan conventions across the country.
It’s a good life. Their careers are adjacent enough to one another for them to have things in common but far enough apart not to make their world feel too small. Some (Rachel) may say the situation still gets a little chaotic at times. After all, Quinn has and always will be Quinn, and Santana remains Santana. There’s going to be some bad in amongst the good... But they soon determine that being good all the time doesn’t matter as much as being honest with each other; as being kind even in those moments when it’s easier to be cruel. And by that definition their relationship is good. It is. Always. It’s so good in fact, that Quinn will probably write a book about it one day.
