@0nl0n hey! here's the Saturn x uranus oneshot I said I was going to write :] (I know it's been months... lol)

[ A feeling to know. ]

Saturn was in his orbit, alone, for now. Jupiter was chatting with Mars, Uranus was just... Doing his thing. Saturn silently watched as Uranus wrote something in this diary, not noticing that there was someone watching him from afar.

Sometimes Saturn wished that he was writing about him in that diary. He sighed as he turned back to look at the sun. He had a crush on the neighboring ice giant for a while now, around more than two months. He loved him; he really did. He loved him with his entire core. Honestly? Saturn thought Uranus was prettier than every star in the universe.

He loved his colorful methane blue atmosphere, even if there weren't any unique patterns; that's what made him more unique than everyone, at least to Saturn. He loved the cyan color he had. He loved hearing his voice... And his rings. Oh, his rings were the best part of him. They weren't as visible as his, but god were Uranus' rings still so pretty. Saturn thought the rings that Uranus had fit him oh so well.

To Saturn, Uranus was absolutely majestic. He'd love to talk to him more, but whenever he would get close, Saturn would get so nervous. God, he was so pretty. So, so pretty. Saturn snapped out of it, shaking his head, as if that'll make those thoughts disappear.

Saturn looked at Jupiter. Jupiter was alone again now, he finished conversing with Mars. Maybe he could ask him for help to confess to Uranus. Maybe Uranus would feel the same way... Deep inside, Saturn hoped he felt the same, even though there were no signs. But maybe he's just very good at hiding his feelings, maybe he's so good at it because he's always on his own...

Thinking about Uranus being lonely and alone just hurts Saturn deeply. He doesn't want to see Uranus in any pain whatsoever, he'd like to help Uranus and be closer with him... Being more than just friends, more than best friends. He really wished that Uranus felt the same way, he didn't know if he does or not. Maybe Uranus has been dropping hints, and that maybe he was too oblivious to notice? Perhaps. That may be the case.

Well, he should probably confess his feelings at some point. It's getting too much to handle, at least for Saturn. He'll just ask Jupiter for advice on how to do so tomorrow. He's sure Jupiter could help out some how, right?

....

Hours, and hours pass by. It was now "tomorrow". Or at least, the day Saturn was gonna ask Jupiter for help on confessing, after all, he needed some advice and some encouragement. Saturn inhaled deeply and exhaled. He's going to ask Jupiter for some help today. He can do it. He can.

He went up to Jupiter, who was just chilling in his own orbit. "Hey Jupiter?" Saturn says nervously. "Huh?" Jupiter blurts out, turning around. "Oh, hey Saturn!" The bigger planet greeted the smaller ringed planet. ”Is... There something you need? You seem quite nervous." Jupiter asks Saturn.

Saturn glaced away, he's clearly very nervous about this. "Well, yeah." He hesitantly says "I need advice on how to confess to my crush..." Saturn spoke, fidgeting with his fingers. He was worried that Jupiter may judge him, but they're friends, he wouldn't. Right? "Oh! I see!" Jupiter exclaims. "I can absolutely help with that!" Jupiter vocalized, Saturn letting out a sigh of relief. "Oh thank the stars.." He mumbles. "Right so, I have a crush on Uranus and, um, yeah." Saturn pauses after speaking for a bit. "How do I confess to him?" Saturn finally asks.

"Oh, Uranus?" Jupiter questions, looking at Saturn, then adverting his glaze away to look behind Saturn - Where Uranus' orbit would be located at. "Uranus is pretty distant..." Jupiter spoke, mumbling. "Hm, maybe you could try asking him out on a date?" The bigger planet suggests. "What!?" Saturn blurts out, taken aback. "No way..! That's way too forward and sudden..." Saturn rejects the suggestion. "Ah-" Jupiter spoke, taken by surprise. "Have you not given him any hints?" He asked.

"... Hints?" Saturn seemed confused, what does Jupiter mean by that? "Like... Hints that you like him?" Jupiter elaborates. "Oh! ...Yeah, no.. I haven't done that." The ringed planet admits, albeit a little shameful. "I see." Jupiter says, replying to what the other said. "Then, maybe you could ask him to meet up and confess from there?" Jupiter suggested another idea.

"That could work... But won't that be too sudden?" Saturn was nervous, as he was fidgeting with his fingers. "Like, a little out of no where?" He adds on. Jupiter just laughs a little, "No, no! Of course it won't be! Don't worry too much." The bigger gas giant reassures him. "I'm sure it'll be fine." Jupiter added.

"Ah, okay then." Saturn sighed, relieved. Though, a little nervous, how would he confess to Uranus? He was still uneasy and unsure about it- There's a lot to do. "But, um..." Saturn hesitates asking. "How do I, you know, confess?" Saturn asked, smiling awkwardly. "Hmm... " Jupiter mumbled, thinking for any sorts of ideas and advice. "Well, there's a lot of ways you can confess.. Like through a letter, or telling him how you feel about him.."

He paused. "Or you could just, straight up tell him that you like him." Jupiter explains to Saturn. "That could also work." He says. "Oh! Okay! Thanks a bunch, Jupiter!" Saturn smiled brightly, clearly very thankful for Jupiter's help. "I think I could just tell him how I fell.. I guess that works best for me! " Jupiter smiles back and chuckles, "Hey, whatever works best for you, my friend!" Jupiter says, happily.

"...Good luck on it, I'm always here for you, alright?" Jupiter's voice softened a bit, he gives Saturn a small reassuring smile, letting him know that he'll be there for him no matter what happens. Saturn smiles, very thankful for Jupiter's kindness. He's way too kind, Saturn thinks. "Thanks, a lot. I hope I'll be able to repay your kindness." Saturn says as he gives Jupiter a soft smile back.

"I'll get going now, I have a lot to do tomorrow." Saturn says, as he leaves to go back to his orbit. "Alright then! See you!" Jupiter waves goodbye. Saturn waves a goodbye back, too.

Hours pass by, and Saturn was in his orbit- being awfully quiet. He'd usually talk to his moons, well, more specifically Titan, and annoy all of the other saturnian moons, but today he was unusually quiet, and his moons definitely noticed that. Though, they didn't bother to ask or check as they actually quite liked the peace and silence.

Saturn wasn't really doing anything except for his usual revolution around the Sun and rotating on his axis. He was quite anxious, he was thinking about how he was going to confess his feelings to Uranus, and how to not mess it up. He wanted to bring a good impression, and he didn't want to completely embarrass himself in front of his crush, either.

He just sighed, a little tired. Maybe even a little bit stressed. He needed it to be perfect... But maybe, just maybe, he should just go with the flow. Just have something to say in mind, and hope it all goes well. Saturn smiles to himself, trying to reassure himself that'll everything will be okay, and that it will turn out alright.

He can do it, he can. He knows he can.

He took a deep breath, and exhaled, as he went to Uranus' orbit, to ask him to meet up so he could confess to him about how he felt about him. He was nervous, definitely, but he kept constantly telling himself that it was going to be okay.

"Hey, uh, Uranus?" Saturn spoke nervously as he went up to Uranus. Uranus jumped and nearly dropped his diary as he got startled by Saturn's sudden appearance. "Oh uhm hey. What is it, Saturn?" Uranus spoke as he puts his diary away. Saturn took a deep breath, and asked him. "Uh, do you mind meeting up with me at a certain place in a couple of hours?" Saturn asked him, smiling, to try and make it seem as if he's not extremely nervous right now.

"Uh, why?" Uranus questions. He's not going to meet up with someone randomly for no specific reason, it might just be a giant waste of time, and he doesn't want to waste any time. "Well- I just need to talk to you about something.." Saturn says, fidgeting with his fingers, once again. "Okay then? Sure, I'll meet up." Uranus raised an eyebrow. He was definitely more than just a little confused, but he decides that he'll meet up either way.

A couple hours pass by, Saturn was waiting in the spot he told Uranus to come meet him at. He wasn't sure when Uranus was going to come, or if he'll even come at all, for that matter. He took a deep breathe, to try and calm his nerves. He was getting extremely anxious about it. He doesn't know how Uranus will react to his confession, he doesn't know whether he'll be rejected or accepted. Only time can tell, and he knows that, and so he waits.

Saturn's expression brightens a little when he sees Uranus heading towards his direction in the distance. "Hey, Saturn. I'm here. What is it that you wanted to talk about?" Saturn took in a shaky breathe, he was nervous, but he had to look confident, there was no way he was making a fool out of himself in such an important situation now. "Well, you see..." Saturn spoke, averting his glaze away from Uranus out of nervousness.

"I've been feeling this way for a while now." Saturn started off the confession, leaving Uranus confused, with him raising an eyebrow. "What?" Uranus impulsively blurts out, though he knows he should wait for Saturn to elaborate on it more. Saturn takes a deep breath and turns back, looking at Uranus, building up the courage to say it.

"I've loved you for a long time. Just seeing you around, easily makes my day. I spend hours at a time just thinking about you, I get lost in my own thoughts whenever you show up. Your atmosphere, the blue from the methane that you have in it — You've always looked so pretty, and so unique. The way your rings shine on you, even if they aren't that noticable, but when they are, you look so majestic. Yet you always look majestic, don't you know just how beautiful you are? You're extremely special to me, and I hope you'd understand my love for you, I've always loved you more than just a friend, I'm not sure if you feel the same albeit I hope you do."

Uranus just stared at Saturn in complete and utter silence as he listened to Saturn say all of that. Uranus just stared at Saturn in disbelief, the confession came as a complete surprise to him. Although, he already knows the answer to the confession; yet he hesitated to say it. Uranus just stood there, staring at Saturn in silence, as the bigger planet waited anxiously for the other to say something.

Even though Uranus was nervous about saying it, he decided to just do it. He thought it'd be better to say it now, than to keep the other waiting. "I'm sorry, Saturn, I... Don't feel same way." He spoke. "I just don't feel that way towards you, and I only see you as a friend—well, an acquaintance— But I don't really... want to be in a romantic relationship with you; I think, it'd be better for the both of us if we stayed as friends. I apologize, I hope we can, uh, still be friends." Uranus explained to Saturn, as he backed away from him out of impulse.

"Oh." Saturn muttered, he was upset - though he should've expected this to happen. "It's... Fine. I understand, you don't have to apologize." He tells to Uranus. "You can... Go now." Saturn says to the other jovian planet, as the two parted ways.

Saturn doesn't know what to do now, he stays there quietly in his orbit. Jupiter comes up to him, noticing that Saturn's upset. "Saturn?" Jupiter called out, Saturn looks at him. "Yeah?" "You got rejected, didn't you?" Jupiter asks, with only Saturn nods a yes, not uttering a single word to reply with.

Jupiter doesn't say anything else, as he just gives the other gas giant a hug.
