A/N: im in so so so much pain. wrote this because im lonley and would kill to have one of these beautiful characters to aid me. these would be longer if i wasnt so delirious rn. (not proofread)

Dabi knows what to do but also does not. 

hes been through a lot of painful situations wheres hes needed to take medication, and most times he isnt even able to take any. 

hes trying his best to comfort for you in his own little warped way. 

"Hey, sit back down" Dabi snaps at you in annoyance as you attempt to leave your bed, and rolls his eyes at your mumble-whining. "You're delirious right now, don't argue with me."

he makes sure that your night stand is always replenished. hes like a little nurse and even in your medicated haze, you find it super cute.

♱ you cant tell him that tho… he'll get pouty. not something you hate but its the bratty behavior that follows it.

gives you tons of forehead kisses because he cant give you cheek ones cuz of your swollen cheeks. 

its practically killing him he cant just cup them while theyre big the way they are. 

is definitely teasing you as he takes care of you. sometimes putting stuff out of your reach or eating a burger in front of you knowing you wont be able to do that for a couple of days. 

"Fine fine, say ahh-- oh wait." Dabi snickers. 

he really thought he ate, huh? i guess he did (literally).

Shigaraki does not know what hes doing. 

"You want cuddles or sumthin'??" He tilts his head as you look at him with the most annoying puppy dog eyes you can muster up. 

he unfortunately believes that you could suck it up but we all know its because deep down he enjoys pain a little too much. 

is actually persistent on giving you your meds for you to heal with.

although dont expect it to be accurate all the time…. 

he isnt as attentive and usually drops by to spend some time with you since he doesnt want you to be alone too much. 

even with how awkward it is, he'll give you the "normal'' amount of affection and give your head and cheekbone area light kisses for you to feel better.

"You know I can go steal a way stronger dose right?" 

If you could frantically shake your head no you would.

he'll sometimes let you play video games with him so he can also keep himself entertained as well. 

he doesnt assimilate into your schedule like Dabi does but he tries his best to still help you no matter what.

Toga in a very odd way is ecstatic that youre in pain. 

♱ not like she isnt “odd” already,,

shes very excited to play nurse and help you heal. probably dresses for the part too.

"We'll get you back up on your feet in no time!"Toga declares happily, shoving a small spoon into your mouth with applesauce on it. 

is whistling or humming as she helps you out and somehow acquired some non-prescriptive cute glasses. she'll tilt them up or press them closer as she checks the doses. 

shes actually pretty on top of it (but you do have to double check if its correct because you know how careless she can be without ill intent).

she'll get you stuff animals and blankets for you to nap in. 

has it so shes sleeping over (not that thats new anyways).

gives you lots of affections but makes sure to be soft so she doesnt hurt you by accident.

if youre in any kind of pain, you can always count Toga be there to aid you. 

frantic. 

youd think with Spinner's cool demeanor would make you think otherwise but nope. 

hes clocking your schedule and making sure you got everything set. 

"You have everything for 12 pm right?" He checks in and takes your small little nod as a yes. He releases a small sigh to himself and leaves to take a tinkle. He let's out one of the most loudest sighs of worry you've ever heard from him. It's pretty funny when you realize he's been trying to keep composed this whole time.

unlike Toga, he has actual glasses. 

looks like such a grandpa taking care of you. 

youre so entertained by him that honestly it distracts you a bit from the soreness and the pain. 

he gets mopey when he cant cuddle you on days where youre in too much discomfort. 

has you basically nesting as you recover. 

a little all over the place? yes. would you still rate your experience with his 10/10? 

of course.

literally do not expect too much from him. 

with all Twice's sides it really differs on what youre getting that day (sometimes throughout if its a hectic 24 hours).

he is trying his best since he doesnt like seeing you in pain and gives you lots of kisses. 😭

idc what anyone says out of the whole league, hes the most caring. 

when hes attentive, hes on it. 

checking your temp, getting your foods, making sure you have your cool & hot pads. also has alarms so he can remind himself when to check up on you. 

unfortunately he doesnt want to seem like a bother so he tries to not to be too much in your space </3

he knows you dont mind but he gets self conscience as he normally does. 

even when hes not tending to you hes just chilling in your vicinity when you two arent interacting. 

he thinks he couldve helped you more but you think he did great. 

Mr Compress is all the extravaganza. you said calling in sick, bro heard "time to pamper and preform".

even if its the smallest things he'll give it to you in fun little ways so you arent bored out of your mind. 

♱ and also so you dont feel skipping out on doses and actually take them. 

you werent aware but this mf also has multiple costumes?? youre pleased to have learnt this. 

he is a show man after all…

of course he doesnt over do it, he wants you rested not overstimulated. 

is a very chill man to be around when hes not doing flip and tricks and you cant decide which of him you like more (you dont choose ultimately).

of course he has a little something up his sleeve to keep you on your toes but you cant complain with that. 

did he essentially treat you like a kid? yes. 

do you care tho? not at all. 

Kurogiri is the most put together out of them. 

(youre supposed to be surprised by this revelation.)

i mean, what do you expect from a man who has taken care of another man for years…?

makes sure youre doing everything so you can recover expeditiously. 

isnt doing all that affection stuff honestly. 

he drops in, replenishes everything you need and dips. 

he kind of treats you like youre sick and it lowkey hurts your feelings with how much he avoids you. 

in general hes give an average amount of affection so you sometimes have to speak up when he hasnt cuddled you for some time. 

even with all your requests he never seems bothered how much you ask and what you ask for. :')

he is pretty good but sometimes you wish he could be a bit softer (sue me).

imagine Toga but 2.0. 

Magne isnt as energetic and into the role of the 'nurse' but is very much still doting. 

feeds you in the beginning stages before you gotta remine them that they definitely dont have to. 😭

when youre feeling extra cranky theyll try and coax you into it (consensually ofc who do you think youre with?!)

"I know you don't feel like it but you'll feel much better once you take it." Magne rubs your shoulder as you whimper in pain, and presses a gentle and chaste kiss to your temple. 

even with how bubbly and outgoing they are, they are just as stern. 

is one to make sure youre having a laid experience while making sure your lazy attitude will not interfere with your healing process. 

makes sure to have a big celebration thing when you are fully healed and gives you all the cuddles that you may have missed out on when you were healing.

Giran's methods may be ghetto but he gets the job DONE.

is in and out of your place but makes sure that youre well taken of when hes there. 

its like a roulette if when you wake up he'll be on your bed watching TV or if hes nowhere to be seen without a trace. 

will give you the rare kiss but more of his gentle behaviors are like little pokes to your cheeks just because of how puffy they are.

most people would think that you two wouldn't go or be together… but y'all together real bad. like real mf bad.

the one thing about you two is that he can understand you without you having to say anything.

this inclination to understand what you're thinking is what helped you bond.

it started off with him literally being like,

"Watch where you're going, what's wrong with you???"

You gave an apologetic look, one close to tears as his outburst startled you greatly. You were already late for a meeting and now you were being yelled at. On top of that, this awful interaction had just caused you to drop all your papers that were needed for your job.

You mutter an apology and kneel down to pick up the scattered papers. Bakugo lifts his brow as he watches you scramble and sighs a cuss under his breath at how passive you are. He begrudgingly bends down to start helping you pick up your stuff, feeling bad for his upfront behavior. He's much quicker than you probably because he mixed up the papers around, but he stands back and fixes them into a pile, looking down at your gaping expression at his aggressive niceness.

"Get your shit, c'mon."

You nod and frantically collect your stuff as you stand, pointing in the direction you need to go whilst he holds your stuff for you.

you're the type of person who has to get close to talk to people, (cough) ex; weather report (cough).

after Bakugo being intrigued about your—let's be real—odd way of communicating, you two became friends and it was inevitable that you two would start dating.

Bakugo would never admit it but he liked the fact that you so close to him to talk wksksksks like it's such a weak spot for him.

+ prefers to keep you close anyways.

he knows that you're pretty freaking smart since he did some snooping around when you first became friends to know more 'bout you.

+ because y'know…. you're that much of a talker lol. 😭

your answers were usually short and sweet and there were rarely times where your voice would inflict and you could ramble about something you were passionate about.

since you two weren't in the same careers although the same field, you had a lot of well rounded-ness about you.

one of the days when you accompanied him to the gym, he jokingly challenged you to spar with him, even going as far to pick you up and bring you to the mat.

he had given you an onslaught of tickles, one that had you giggling and playfully pushing him away until it was tew much and you shoved him a little tew hard.

Bakugo was so stunned at how hard he had fell back on his own butt. that doesn't normally happen when he's not sparring with a fellow hero.

that day he left you be, but later on he'd tease and test you to see how much you were truly hiding.

of course he wasn't forcing you into situations you didn't want to be in, but he finds it so amusing of how much you can truly exert in strength being the twerp you are.

there's even a few times where he bribes you to lift heavy ass weights just to admire how strong you are lmaoo.

he's genuinely so into you that everything you do keeps him entertained.

never would he have guessed the quiet person he had never glanced at before could be so…. unique.

The room was too bright and it felt as though everything was caving in.

Laying in bed offered you no real comfort as your labored breaths made you feel suffocated, your eyes now starting to well with tears as anxiety rose within you. You wrapped your arms around yourself and curled into a ball, a small sob coming from you as you feebly attempted to soothe yourself. Usually, you had the comfort of your boyfriend next to you to ground you, but today you were by yourself.

The cool air taunting you synonymous with the cold sheets served as a reminder that you were all alone. That the fears and anxieties from your nightmare didn't stop once you woke up, it instead followed you as you awoke.

You felt an uncomfortable shiver rack through your body as your eyes desperately tried to adjust to the bright lights in the room. You would think waking up out of a nightmare during the daytime would ease you, but you were wrong. It felt overwhelmingly stimulating and your brain and body were desperately trying to find something to ease the panic that it was experiencing.

In your shivers you're able to peek at the clock on your nightstand, the digital tool letting you know that it is soon to be afternoon, hopefully in time for your boyfriend to come get you. You couldn't coax it out of yourself to physically reach out for your phone and shut your eyes in hopes that he would arrive sooner than later. As you closed your eyes, luckily the images of what you had experienced didn't stick but the interconnectedness of the dream clung to you deeply. There wasn't a moment where your body wasn't paralyzed in discomfort.

Heavy buzzing on your nightstand tickles the back of your brain, the static-like noise in your busy mind going completely ignored. It wasn't until you realized that it had been going on for a few minutes that you realized that it was your phone making that disturbance. You open back up your glossy eyes and curl further within yourself, not ready to confront anything that could mess with your already sensitive emotions.

After a while, the jittering had stopped and you were left with the silence of yourself. Still, as you came down from your breakdown tears left your eyes although dry. You refused to move from your spot to help anchor yourself. You no longer felt cold in the embrace of your sheets, now covered in a layer of sweat and feeling hotter than ever. The switch in sensations added on to your already difficult challenge of balancing your senses.

Distantly, you hear the front door to your apartment unlock and soon enough strong and hurried footsteps quickly pad their way to your shared bedroom door; it now opens with a wild swing.

"Y/N?!" Sero, your long-time boyfriend called out in fear.

You whimper at the sound of him and don't bother to move, a sniffle sounding from you alerting him of what state you were in.

Sero softly coos at the fetus positioned lump under the sheets and gently kneels next to your bed as he takes you in.

"Another bad dream?"

You nod looking away from him, feeling embarrassed at how susceptible you were to these things. He gives your forehead a comforting kiss before standing up and pulling you up for a hug, the manhandling you were used to since it was the only way you were able to move in moments like this. As you welcomed his warm and gentle embrace, another shocked sob ran through your body as you found immense comfort in his hold.

He whispered sweet reassurance in your ear, hand rubbing your arm soothingly as if handling a baby who was shaken up. At least that's what you felt like. You had always been like this as a child and only a few people understood that the only way you could come down from your awful night terrors was by coddling like this. In many relationships, you were left humiliated because of the lack of understanding but Sero never left you hanging. Whatever you needed, he was always ready to drop everything and take care of you.

"I thought something went wrong; I called your phone like a million times." Sero jokingly mumbles against your temple, his hands and arms giving you another squeeze before allowing you to slowly untangle yourself from his hold.

"Am sorry…" You pout and wipe your tears, his hands are more than happy to replace yours and wipe the excess himself.

"Don't worry about it, 'kay?" He gives you his signature, warm smile, and holds your hands in his as he places his forehead against yours. There's an urge to laugh at the comical angle he provides you. "You still up for that picnic? I was thinking of getting us boba on the way there."

If you were by yourself you would've stayed the whole day in your apartment, drained. But thanks to him, he always knew how to make your life easier.

you just really liked how warm his cape was and the added comfort that it also smelled like him too.

even just using it as a shade when it's warmer/sunnier out does the job too.

Inasa has a lot of thoughts about it, but he surprisingly doesn't argue or complain about it…

+ mostly due to him thinking it's super cute and endearing and he can't bring himself to tell you no sjsjsj plus you don't stay longer than you need to & know when time's up.

it's different when you two are home though.

when he's getting ready for work and you're off that day, you'll cling onto him (just to he annoying) and that's when he'll be like, "what is with you, Y/N?!"

has probably wrestled you before (in a gentleman-ly way) to get it back because he needs it.

promises that you can use it when he's home, but he prefers that you use his other ones that are fresh, warm and up to your standards.

it's not like he doesnt get the allure of his super-amazing-durable cape. hell , he’s the one who insisted that it be part of his costume

+ and you cant lie, his look is definitely a good one with the cape being added to it.

but he didn’t understand your fascination for it other than just admiring how cool it looks LOL.

he doesn’t mind you using it unless you get in his way, but that rarely happens anyways.

since about the later teen years, Sero has always been one to hand out candy, but this year he wanted to be the one receiving the candy!

which it's funny, he literally chose this on his own volition and it’s you who’s being dragged out to go trick or treating.

this young twenty-something year old was so excited about y’all matching that he wanted to show out on Halloween night lmao.

+ if y’all went out partying on any of the prior nights, just know he was stuck by your hip the whole time (and even did a demonstration of ykw).

Sero literally makes a whole spectacle about it like the thought is hilarious.

bro is swinging from building to building with you in his arms when you get tired of walking, he keeps the mask on the whole time just so the kids around him still feel the excitement of “Spiderman” making a guest appearance in their neighborhood. :’)

please the amount of times you or the older people accompanying the other kids out have made you take pictures of Sero and them was too many times to count LOL.

At a certain point some grumpy person is like, “why is yo big funky ass doin’ all of this fo" and he doesn’t give a FUCK.

To which Sero is like, “my Spidey senses are telling me it’s passed your bedtime, geriatic” meanwhile the person questioning him is like 40 years old.

you hate to admit that you actually had fun doing this foolishness with him and it is one of the memorable nights for you.

would you do it again next year? absolutely not.

BONUS: Sero became a trending topic on social media with even news stations covering it. this latent function ended up being more beneficial than you ever thought it would be.

this was barely his decision.

Shinso had already known about your adoration for Halloween but this was one of the first years of you two being together that you dragged him out on your shenanigans.

normally, you dress up and go along your merry way, with of course him reminding you to let him know if anything happens to call him. but this year, you wanted to do something different.

you wanted to do a couples costume.

the first idea was to do something like Squid Games, which he wasn’t opposed to. he could keep his face covered, spare his dignity, y'know?

then you changed your mind and wanted something more cute like Jack Skellington and Sally, which okay he doesn’t mind. he didn't want to say it out loud but you guys would look hot as them.

but the last and bright idea you went with was… salt and pepper?

Shinso nearly passed out from it making no sense at all.

the worst part knowing he had no choice in the matter because once you made up your mind, that’s what y’all going with LMAO.

so when it’s Halloween night and y’all are out trick or treating, he has no choice but to keep his head held high and calls out to each door with a monotone, “trick or treat 😐".

he secretly had fun that night but you better not make him say it out loud.

Aizawa doesn’t really give a fuck about holidays, like he does not care at all.

A/N: this originally was a collab with a dear friend i am no longer friends with. ive been wanting to write sero more often and thought this would be the perfect work to finish and do so. if you so happen to be on my blog, ily. the first para to the fourth ("lectures -> day.") were written by her with very light editing whilst the rest is mine. wish we couldve finished this together years ago. anyways, hope yall enjoy this as much as i did finishing it. i'll make this post look prettier when my pc starts working again. 🥺🫶🏽

Lectures droned on and for you, it was a total bore. What you would give to be in the hero studies track and not stuck in the general studies degree... Hell, you were starting to consider your quirk turning anything you touch into rubber as a consideration for a strong quirk. As the blood hero, Vlad King, continued on, your eyes wandered to the clock above the board, counting down the seconds before the bell could finally ring. And sure enough, in ten seconds you were already bolting through the door.

You made quick steps to the end of the hall in hopes you could hurry and get these papers settled for the up-and-coming agency visit. As you shuffled through the papers you didn’t notice one of the windows that opened, the air from outside blowing the papers out of your hand before you could even think about what happened. Your eyes watched in defeat as the papers left your grasp, your brain not processing what had just occurred before one so happened to hit you in the face.

You rushed to the window and looked around in absolute worry, eyes wildly searching for them before sighing deeply in despair. How were you supposed to get them now? That was your only chance to get them done finally and they were due by the end of the day.

“Shit, shit, shit…” You mutter under your breath angrily as your eyes quickly scan the area helplessly. You crouch down body finally out of shock to collect your things. Of course when you finally finish this assignment after being so busy lately something out of your control happens again. While collecting your things in defeat a male's voice calls out to you from the open window.

"Did 'ya drop these?"

You whip your head around and look at the source of the sound, a gush of relief washing over you as you look over at your hero. "Oh my god," You stand up and lean against the ledge, hands reaching out for the remaining papers of the stack. The black-haired male pulls his hand back as you reach out to him, his actions making your arms recoil in confusion. A wave of annoyance promptly follows.

"Sero, give me the papers."

"Nuh-uh," Your boyfriend does his signature grin and moves to hang upside down from his tape. "You gotta give me a kiss first."

You scoff and tilt your head with a deadpan look, staring at him as you try to gauge if he is being deadass or not. You look away from his smug and handsome face, glancing left and right to make sure no one else occupies the hallway at this time. You chuckle as you wordlessly lean forward to give him a kiss, his soft lips eagerly meeting yours.

You and Sero had decided to binge old Marvel movies over the weekend and it may have been your worst and best mistake yet. Right into the first entry of the night, your excited boyfriend, Sero, insists that you start with Spiderman. You two bickered for a while as you wanted to go in chronological order, but later you chose to comply with his request only because he seemed excited to see it. In your memory, the movie was pretty good so there wasn't much complaining, but it wasn't the overall movie that got him obsessed. It was the most iconic bit of the movie for fanatics that set a cultural reset in cinema and fandom:

The upside-down kiss.

At that moment as your head laid on his chest, your cheek could feel the thumping in his chest speed up as the scene progressed. Instinctually you peer up at your boyfriend and lean away to see his face better, a playful smirk on your face as you squeeze him.

"No way you're blushing!" You sit up and get a better look at him with the dim and cozy lighting accentuating his cute face.

Sero rolls his eyes and gives you a look that begs for understanding, his hand grabbing your forearm as a plea. "Of course I am! That kiss was totally unnecessary."

"Mm, you think so?" You tease, body leaning into his and your face only centimeters away from his this time. "So you'd never want to try that with me?" Prying, your free hand that rested on his chest slid its way up to the side of your boyfriend's neck. Your thumb presses lightly against his pulse enjoying the way he shifts at the pressure on his neck.

"That's not what I mean and I didn't say that." Sero responds lowly. You two look into each other's eyes before leaning in to press your lips against his in a heavy kiss.

That night you two certainly did upside-down kiss, not exactly portrayed from the movie but you can already guess what went down. Either way, he was totally enraptured by that scene and used almost every chance he could to have you two recreate it.

You thought his infatuation was cute (which you made the mistake of telling him). In some instances, they were certainly out of place and even managed to gain a bit of a crowd when he'd give you a peck. You were a shy person when it came to showing affection, the fact that you were relaxed enough to do it so easily in private was a milestone. What really took the cake was his public displays of affection, the ongoing lookers enjoying a little too much of your abashed reaction to his advances. The perfect thing about your boyfriend is that he knows when and where to tease you, though. Every kiss he gave you caused you to feel embarrassment mixed with overwhelming love. Even in the more public settings, it was done with so much rizz you couldn't help but feel like a blushing schoolgirl or better yet, MJ. You couldn't lie, the whole appeal was that in many ways Sero always acted and felt like your own superhero—never mind the fact he was training to actually be one. As much as you were a tsundere at heart, his cheesy gestures always seemed to win you over.

But you know what the best part about this is?

You two were on the same page for your couple's costume this Halloween.

"You're my hero, seriously. I think I would've had a breakdown if you didn't catch those." You look up at him as he switches around to be upright again and step back as you collect the papers, giving him room to enter the hallway. He understands your thought process and effortlessly enters the building, gracefully landing on his feet. He makes sure to close the window behind him to avoid another mishap from occurring.

Sero doesn't say anything as he watches you fix the papers in order at a small table, eyes soft in their observations. There was a never-leaving tension on your delicate features, shoulders hunched while your back was impossibly straight. He had known you for a while now and it was clear to him that you were too stressed.

He stares at you for a bit longer making you look up at him with light confusion written all over your face at his silence. "Baby, let me take you out. You look stressed as fuck."

Your furrowed brows, slight frown, and irritation immediately lessen at him calling it out. You sigh softly and shake your head as you go back to rearranging your papers. You didn't want to outright say no, but there's no way you could easily agree. You felt bad either way with how much he does for you.

"C'mon, I can tell with my Spidey senses that you totally need me to take you out."

"'Ro, you have that training all the way into the evening tonight. I can't ask that of you!"

"Oh but you can," He genuinely smiles as he pulls you in by your waist. What you didn't know about him was that when he's around you, he always feels energized. Even if he had a super jam-packed schedule for a whole week, an hour with you always brightens his mood. He was more than willing to spend the rest of his night with you if it meant making you feel better. It wasn't like he secretly felt like he was sacrificing on his part either, he would willingly drop everything just to be with you. He pulls you closer as he places both of his hands on your waist and pulls you close to his chest. "Relax."

He mutters against your lips as you wrap your hands around his shoulders, a full-on kiss finally happening for the day. You softly hum as he applies more passion to the kiss, his hands sliding up a bit to hold your back and you arch into him. Your lips move so easily against his that you totally forget where you even are. The only thing you can focus on is that his lips and hands felt so good on you.

Your body melts against his natural fluidity, your muscles and joints already so accustomed to the black-haired male. You could feel something start to poke against your tummy, the pressure already sending a jolt of arousal straight to your core. You softly whimper when he slips his tongue into your mouth, wanting nothing more but to be engulfed completely in his presence.

As you slip further into the kiss, an irritating thought runs across your mind for the second time during this encounter: your papers. You groan in annoyance as you force yourself to pull yourself away from your lover, a string of saliva connecting you two. You bring up your wrist to wipe it away although not fully committing to pulling away from him just yet.

"Ah shit," You try to collect yourself and lightly pant as you look up at him. It was a mixture of not wanting to go, a silent plea for more later. "I have to meet with my professor-"

"Tonight though right, babe?" He leans against the wall as he asks. You sigh and nod your head in acceptance.

"Tonight, I promise." You lean in and give his cheek a kiss before taking your papers and sending him a small wave. You step back and swivel on your heels, hastily returning on your journey to the aforementioned lecture room. You’re able to hide the giddy smile that reaches your lips as you already start to fantasize about your boyfriend, but he already knew you would start cheesing the moment you turned around.

You felt so incredibly lucky to have your very own hero grace your life like this.
