Alex nuzzled his cheek against your hair, content to have you in his arms. Both of you had a long day and he’d been looking forward to this moment since the middle of the day. Exploring the mines was exhausting and he admired you for doing it so often. But it also worried him, which was why he insisted on coming along with you.

The monsters put him on edge but he never let a single one touch you. He couldn’t. You were his everything, he couldn’t let something as stupid as a bat harm a single hair on your head. Of course, you commented on his behavior but he just grinned and made out with you against the cave wall for five minutes.

Alex blushed lightly, thinking about it. That was certainly one of the nicer parts of the day. Along with you finding prismatic shards.

“Go to bed,” You mumble, shifting in his arms. “I can practically hear you thinking.”

Alex chuckled. He turned your head enough to kiss you before letting you pull away.

“I’m serious. We’ve had a long day and you helped me a lot.”

“Anything for you,” Alex said, kissing your neck. “I’ll do it again tomorrow, too.”

“You don’t have too. I know going down into the mines is exhausting.”

“I want to. Who else is going to protect you from the monsters?”

“You’re forgetting that I have a sword. Now shush, please.”

Alex frowned, but he didn’t say anything back. It sounded like you were exhausted to the point of having trouble speaking, so he let it go. For now.

But he was going to have to talk to you in the morning about it if you didn’t let him tag along again. He was serious about needing to protect you. He’d kill everything in the mines if it meant keeping you safe in his arms.

Hello! If you’re here because you saw something I wrote and want to find the rest of it, all of my writing is posted on AO3. My username there is Mya_Stone .

I accept requests at all times, for anything SDV related. I will try to write something for everything I receive. Anything involving canon characters is fine, but I have not played with any modded characters. Any requests involving the player character will default to a 2nd person "you" fic, though I can do a specific gender, if your idea requires it.

Moonlight Walks - Chapter Twelve is on AO3!

Moonlight Walks - Chapter Twenty-Three

Pairing: SebastianXFemaleFarmer (with a little SamXFemaleFarmer) Chapter word count: 5,876 Total word count: 95,140 Chapter 23 - The Solarion Chronicles - is up.

Despite having Seb's 6-heart event here, this chapter has lots of Alex, some Harvey, some Sam, some Seb. I thought a lot about what sort of movies Alex would like and I figured that seeing as he's raised by his grandparents, he'd have watched a lot of old-timey flicks growing up. I imagine him as pretending to be interested in action movies and fight scenes when he was in school, because he's part of the "jock" crowd, but deep down he's sensitive and just wants to sing along to some musicals.

I originally envisioned that movie scene as being with Seb and Sam but whenever I tried, Sam ended up trying to make a move. So I rewrote it to give Alex and Georgia some quality sibling time together.

ANYWAY, sorry to ramble! This week's song is Singing in the Rain by Gene Kelly, for Alex's favourite musical. And as a bonus, the Solarion Chronicles song is The Song of the Dragonborn from Skyrim. I also did my nails to match Ginger, the orange cat who lives on Stardew Farm :)

Chapter 13 - Learning to Dance - is up on AO3! Haley is the focus of this week's chapter, with a healthy dose of Sam and a little of Alex too. I feel like deep down, she just wants a girl friend to hang out with and just needs a little push to get past that 'high school bully' persona.

I discovered MARINA for the first time this week, so this week's song is Primadonna by MARINA because it's the type of vibe Haley wants to cultivate, even though she's really a sweetheart.

Moonlight Walks - Chapter Eighteen

Chapter Eighteen - Sebastian Appreciates Karaoke (For Once) - is live now. Expect to see a bit more of Shane from now on. I've got a bit of a soft spot for him and might even attempt a ShaneXFemaleFarmer fic once this one is complete! No promises though; I used to write a Life is Strange fic which I'd like to finish sometime lol. Pairing: SebastianXFemaleFarmer (with a little SamXFemaleFarmer) Chapter word count: 4,947 Total word count: 72,912 Anyway, lots of songs for this chapter!

Sam's song, the Zuzu Beat, is based on the Macarena by Los Del Rio. For anyone who doesn't speak Spanish, the Macarena is about a woman who cheats on her boyfriend with his best friends every time he's away.

I love a sea shanty, so Willy and Elliott's song is based on a few different ones, including Sea Shanty Medley by Home Free and the Flying Dutchman by the Jolly Rogers.

Georgia's song isn't really based on anything, it's just a few lines I made up.

Robin and Demetrius' song kind of made me think of Islands in the Stream by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers.

Moonlight Walks - Chapter Twenty-Five

Apologies in advance for the longest chapter in the entire world, but Chapter 25 - Dance of the Moonlight Jellies - is up! I can barely conceal my contempt for Pierre in this chapter, can't stand the lad. But Alex puts him in his place while being the lovely himbo that he is.

My songspiration for this chapter is Beyond the Sea by Bobby Darin - both for Sebastian and Georgia's feelings, and the fact that the original French version was an ode to the sea rather than a love song.
