I learned it's easier to learn verbs in their ない form first, vs. their dictionary form first. Makes recognizing the difference between Godan and Ichidan verbs 100% easier and removes the need to "remember" the "hidden/fake/lying" verbs that parade as the other verb type. The trick to doing it is far easier and I hate how Genki teaches it in the book.
Leaving me with only having to learn the conjugation patterns for Ichidan, Godan, and Irregular verbs. Far, far easier.
been working on college from home. my college is still doing mostly virtual classes... however! we recently cleaned up the back yard at my parent’s house so I suppose this is my new study spot.
My test starts in less than 30 minutes. I will have a post about the experience either later today or later this week. I have some things I already wish to speak about but I want this experience before I fully put my thoughts into word. Until than, for all those taking the test today and tomorrow, regardless if it'd N5 or N1 and any N in-between, good luck. Just do your best, pass or fail, it will be a good experience and you will learn what it is you need to work on next.
Do *your* best. That is all you can ask of yourself.
~Study snacks; something salty, something sweet, something crunchy.
~The tea is a Lapsang Souchong; a black tea from China that has a nice subtle taste (subtle for a black tea) and a very smokey aroma that makes it feel like you're drinking a campfire. Very pleasing, I enjoy drinking it on cold days.
They are not starting when I wanted. I am sick. That in of itself is following the holidays and the stresses they bring. But do not worry. I have not forgotten my goals, and my promise to put to words my thoughts on the test in December 2023. I have not forgotten you. Never have I forgotten you. 新年おめでとう
