Sera Myu Gifs Before I Disappear (Edit)

It is 3:47am and before I forget that I have tumblr again, let’s drop my favorite gifs from the 2016 Sailor Moon Musical, Amour Eternal feat. The Outers... Again... Serenity help me.

Setsuna: “Let me help with your luggage.” 

Haruka: “Not mine?!”

Like the movie, our favorite family’s just living life away from duty (even Setsuna my gahd finally, the break she really needed). I love the scene before this because it’s Musical-canon that Michiru loves to doorbell-spam, I actually thought it would be Haruka.

And right after this gif, Setsuna attempts to pull Michiru’s luggage for her (Haruka Gets The Short End Of The Stick Pt. 2, refer to my Le Mouvement Finale post for Pt. 1) and immediately struggles because of how heavy it actually is, which makes Michiru both cooler and a lot scarier.

This is one of the scenes that pulled me into the 2013-2017 sera myu and modern sera myu in general. I used to be really intimidated of the modern cast, especially Shuu-ranus, then I saw this scene where Haruka dares try to challenge Michiru’s perceptiveness after telling Haruka to not bother their sleeping child. You can literally sense that moment of fear in Haruka...

But of course, she had to pout. ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!!! I am going to scream if it weren’t for Hotaru sleeping in the next room.

What I really love about the musicals is that we get to see certain sides to the characters that we don’t usually see and I’m all up for some immaturity from the supposed mature people of the group.

moroha is mature feral girl unlike awful mary sue cousins towa and sestuna who didnt resembled rin

honestly, I wasn’t sure how they were gonna do an inukag kid successfully, but moroha is just so perfect. Her design just feels right to me, so does her name. Hear backstory is sad and unlikely bc inukag definitely wouldn’t have left her alone, I mean inuyasha is stronger than his father! he helped beat NARAKU, and Kagome is literally so brave?? no way they wouldn’t have fought tooth and nail to get back.

And Koga, not properly taking care of Kagome’s daughter? Unrealistic. Koga isn’t perfect, but he’s still a pretty good boy.

as for the twins, well…

towa and setsuna’s designs are pretty cool tbh, rumiko did a really good job with all the designs. the fact she didn’t design them with a mother in mind at all makes me like their designs more bc they were never meant to be r/n’s kids. personality wise? i didn’t watch y4shahime, but from what I heard, the writing is complete garbage and moroha is the only redeeming quality.

I think when it comes to y4shahime, they thought they were making Inuyasha 2.0. A lot of it sounds recycled in one way or another. But Towa and Setsuna just aren’t the protagonists Inuyasha and Kagome were. My sister and I have seen a few animes, hard to find ones that… don’t have major flaws, and we agree that Inuyasha is the best anime. The characters are good and likeable, and it’s really romantic.

I really think the only good sequel wouldn’t have been one that tried to be a video game sequel where the characters start at base stats and have to rebuild it to save the world. Inuyasha and Kagome trying to keep their little feisty daughter alive while she runs off convinced she’s gonna slay the bad guys would’ve been entertaining and cute.

Also, imagine the well starts working for whatever plot reasons and Moroha gets to meet her grandma, great grandpa and uncle Sota for the first time!! how cute! I mean, personally I like to hc that the well still works so Kagome isn’t cut off from her family.

Well like the info/answers they desire was already given by Sunrise during one of their interviews. I remember seeing it posted. Apparently, since Sesshomaru's human form is very humanoid looking that's why the twins look like they look which is fine and peachy I guess but that doesn't explain their uncle Inuyasha (as Toga/Inu no Taishō has a similar form ofc) looking part dog. But I'm 100% sure it's more cause they're Pedosawa's OC DONUT STEEL and ofc, they don't have to just look GOOD, but they gotta win the genetic lottery which gave them powers that even their father and grandparents did not posses or even showed along being able to control their demon state much faster when Inuyasha had such a hard time with that, needing his sword or Kagome's spiritual powers to have some control. But to be factually blunt... This was actually mentioned in the original series by Jineji's mother when she commented that Inuyasha was one of the prettier half demons. Like Yokai (ofc in part humans) half demons can come in all shapes, yōkai of the Daiyōkai hierarchy/category in particular tend to have more mastery of transformation, which is why most of them showed up in these good looking human forms more in the series except in some cases like Ryukotsusei, the Panther/Leopard cat King or Taigokumaru, who seemingly preferred their beast appearance, sticking to look how they really are. Or even born looking in-between (exhibit A. Shippo). Same for half demons. You get the picture. Also, it was shown that human looking yokai can totally reproduce with yokai of more monstrous appearances as Hiten and Manten's pops liked their mom just the way she looked. Still following?

So the thing is, like I said in the case of twins they ain't got the puppy ears because that's how they wanted it, more than the already established lore.

It's not that deep for people to go to reddit in my opinion. Ig? Like if people want the dog ears you can put it on them. Or a tail. If they're THAT unsatisfied with how they look.

So it is said. Personally, I don't think the faces of RT's characters are very distinctive to begin with, and so these characters could be argued to look like ANY of the others, but that's just me.

Character opinion bingo - marysue twins towa and Sestuna

Once again, full disclosure: I have not watched a single episode of Hanyō no Yashahime, nor read any of the manga. Everything I know about it comes from random video clips and screenshots, episode summaries I've read, Tumblr hearsay, and seeing people I follow react to it.

So, that being said, it shouldn't come as a surprise that I a) know next to nothing about either of these characters, and b) have no real opinions on them, other than that Sesshōmaru's kids shouldn't have been at the center of an InuYasha sequel. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It still seems hella weird to me that the two main protagonists of the original series—InuYasha and Kagome—get relegated to being side-characters in the "sequel," and that their child also gets significantly less attention/screen time than Sesshōmaru's. I'm just kind of baffled by the creative decisions of that series in general, I think. (And yes, I'm sure that my antipathy for Sesshōmaru's character is informing my general impression of his kids.)

Depends what's your definition of favorite, cause I really have 2 types of ranking in terms of favorite characters. I have the "you give me comfort and I think about you often" character or the "you're super interesting and I want to see more about you" character.

The way Sestuna sits with you is just so cute. Does she trust you a lot? I feel like birds always seem a bit nervous.

I have had her since she was around three months old and even now I’m the only one she lets handle her. Birds are picky with who they let near them. Some can be slow to trust. It just takes patience that’s all. Don’t force it ya know?

Yo! We're getting closer and closer to the finals. This chapter is a montage/time skip of sorts going through the rest of the consultations. There is also a Katsuki pov at the end that is kind of in the middle of Izuku's pov. For an update on explody boy.

Edit to a previous chapter. It was pointed out for chapter 1 of this part that Izuku should have asked Aizawa about what to do with Bakugou. I more was thinking they wouldn't have done that 'off screen' but I added a small part anyway. :) You can read it if you would like, but basically Aizawa agrees to Maijima and him being the ones to talk to Katsuki but not keeping the fact that the info is from Izuku a secret. Katsuki needs to learn to work with Izuku. :) So thank you, LadyPhoenix68! ^____^

At least to get something for each and every one of them.

I don't have everyone immediately accepting Izuku's thoughts. Some need to think about it and then there's Aoyama. I see him as a 'lead a horse to water but can't make them drink' situation. Willing to listen to Izuku but not necessarily take his advise. Now for things going on in canon, I have my own ideas of what to do and will not confirm or deny things until it comes time to post that part. ;) 'Cause suspense and no spoilers. But by all means speculate all you want. :P

So Kouda. Now I have an idea for an animal companion for him and those on the discord may recall that brainstorm. But I'm open to what others think! Seriously, the boy needs a zoo. Give him all the animal friends!

Sh-sh-shout out to Divergent and Bigsmile on the discord for logicking (I know that's not a real word. :P) out that Katsuki could secrete explosive sweat all over body, but the ignition spot is just his hands. The suit is sort of Dune inspired collecting liquid from all over his body and could work to replace the storage tanks. It could also automatically fill the smaller grenades instead of manually adding cartridges with is an unnecessary extra step. I don't have an exact design for the gauntlets in mind but just slimmer than they are in canon so Katsuki can actually use his arms.

Sh-sh-shout out to Coup on the discord for being the science friend when it comes to Kodai’s quirk. The whole affecting size but not weight or mass or whatever. It was a bit ago and I don't remember all of it. :P If I got anything wrong, this part or otherwise, I apologize and please let me know. ^____^ I am no expert and am relying on others and the internet.

The transcripts Monoma mentions are in part 2 chapter 12! Also, I had fun having them interact again. I want them to be friends! Though there will be bumps because of their personalities. ;) First name basis though!

For redesigns that I actually took the time to sketch out, we have Tokoyami and Hitoshi! Coup had some points when it came to Hitoshi's helmet to make it more comfortable but I was too lazy to redraw things. :P It's good enough to get you a general idea though! Izuku's new helmet design to be revealed at a later time. ;)
