Writing fic is sometimes like “I love canon and this happens in the blank areas between events that actually were depicted” and sometimes like “well you know WHAT, actually they NEVER betrayed their friends or sided with evil, how about THAT?!”
#this is specifically about Faith on btvs#like actually no she was a deep cover agent who helped them defeat the mayor#then went on to go to UC Sunnydale and majored in something ridiculously smart#also Giles became her father figure as well including a near verbatim version of the B99 meme#she also got rid of most of the stuff the mayor gave her but kept the playstation#then also got a Nintendo 64 through probably legal means#she got super into Ocarina of Time and later Majora’s Mask#and also bought Mario Kart to be able to have parties with her friends#she’s currently one of those people who argue that the polygon graphics for original Crash and Spyro look better than the remastered ones#also she has a YouTube channel where she sometimes mentions being a slayer#but she’s a retro game reviewer so everyone just thinks she means Castlevania#I realize this turned into borderline flanderization but I feel like a more mentally stable Faith would be such a gamer#she loves fighting anyway and was getting reckless and looking for trouble#so the healthy version of that is gaming specifically anything where you fight enemies#Giles checks on her one time and she literally just got done with patrol and immediately started playing Doom#he tried to get her into something less similar to real life and gave her his old copies of King’s Quest V and VI#which she claims to love ironically but genuinely thinks are really fun apart from V being so hateful#(Giles gave her out of context hints after a 45 minute phone rant about getting trapped in the Inn)#but anyway getting into Sierra led her right to Gabriel Knight thus thwarting Giles’ plan to get her to do stuff unrelated to her life#(also Giles totally loves adventure games especially King’s Quest#he doesn’t HATE technology he hates that internet research was threatening to replace books)

Where Lila knows not to mess with the cat's princess.
A seemingly innocent smile appeared on Lila's lips as the girl walked down the streets to her "supposed" self-proclaimed kingdom, her mind swirled with thoughts and plans of taking down a certain half-Asian. Ever since the pig-tailed girl responded confidently to her threat, she began to find certain ways to tarnish the goody-two-shoes reputation. Marinette didn't seem to call her out of her lies anymore, frequently avoiding her. Whenever she got closer to the bluenette, said girl would either walk away, or stand there quietly while she babbled on her lies towards her clueless friends.
Even the mention of the students of Francoise Dupont made her lips twitch into a smirk. How clueless and mindless they are, believing whatever they want to hear, if she cared she would've felt sorry for Marinette, but she didn't. When framing her for theft and bully, most of her friends felt betrayed and hurt, angry even. She would've succeeded in getting rid of a love-rival if it weren't for a certain Agreste.
Adrien Agreste is a famous model, kind and handsome, qualities every woman wants in a man, and also, loved by almost half the population of teenage girls in Paris. Lila knew there were 3 girls after him apart from herself. Chloe Bourgeois, the mayor's daughter, which Lila considered not much of a threat since the girl seemed to show little romantic interest in him, confirming both of them to be just best friends. Next is Kagami Tsurugi, a big threat, the Japanese girl is beautiful and confident, and her mother is good friends with his father, Adrien had dated the girl for a while, only for both of them to break it up, thinking it's best if they stay friends, even so, Kagami had proved to still be very protective of Adrien, disliking Lila once taking a good look at her. Finally, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the biggest threat, the girl is hopelessly in love with Adrien, always stuttering and stumbling around him, though after a while, she stopped, her confidence increasing rapidly, a trait Lila soon found to be annoying, the half-Asian was supposed to be out of Lila's way when she started going out with Luka, but for some reason the two decided to stay friends, making Marinette a nuisance in Lila's eyes. Lila isn't blind, she could see the obvious love and adoration in Adrien's eyes whenever the bluenette is in his line of sight. The blond was obviously in love with her, and that made Lila's blood boil in anger, she tried to bad-mouthed her in front of Gabriel, but the middle-aged man shrugged it off, already meeting Marinette a few times, deeming her a worthy friend of Adrien once seeing her devotion towards Adrien and her exceptional talent in fashion. And that is when Lila knew she couldn't simply manipulate the man that easily, giving up on that idea, continuing to get on Agreste's Senior's good side, spying on Adrien.
Speaking of the blond boy, her lips turned into a lovesick grin when thinking of him. He is everything she ever dreamed of, rich, handsome, and kind. His name will bring her fame and fortune from all over the world. Just the thought of her hanging off the clueless man's arms while attending worldwide events made her feel giddy. Now that she is on his father's good side, it's only a matter of time before Adrien comes crawling to her feet, worshiping her just like the others. Though she admit the boy isn't as dumb as he seems, already knowing the girl's exceptional talent in lying, as the good-for-nothing superhero called her out in front of him. She hated the spotted hero, finding her a threat to her well-formed lies. But, the hero isn't in her way this time, her plan was to take down Dupain-Cheng, though the girl's friends still think of Marinette as the sweet, kind girl they loved, Lila is going to make sure they think her of the opposite by the end of the day, after all, no one can resist what they want to hear, she will be getting her fame soon. Plastering on a sweet smile, the girl walked into the school, fully unaware of what lies ahead of her.
__________
Adrien Agreste had a feeling that something will happen today, and his suspicions lie on the sausage-haired girl that just walked in the class, her face planted with an all to sweet smile that disgusts him. His first reaction was to look behind, as if fearing something had happened to the girl that he called "Everyday Ladybug" , she's not here, late as usual, sighing in relief, he turned back to the front, lips stretching into a thin smile as Lila practically latched onto his arm after waving to the classmates, her nails digging into his flesh a little too deep, the man quickly shrug her off, uncomfortable. Lila looked a bit disappointed, but quickly put up her act.
'Oh Adrien, I was just wondering if you would help me with yesterday's Physics homework, you know my cousin is a great Engineer in Japan, she promised to teach me all about her research but due to me having short-term memory loss I couldn't remember a lot of the equations,' she spoke in a sickeningly sweet voice. Adrien wanted confront her again, but it's been weeks since he did, and she never listened, he soon gave up, only ignoring her brags and answering her questions half-heartedly. 'I'm sorry Lila, but maybe you could ask Max about it, I'm having some troubles on Physics myself too,' Adrien just spoke a lie, though not a bad one, he was just trying to dismiss Lila, as he wasn't really in the mood this morning. Lila definitely got the message, replacing her frown with a smile, gushing on how polite he is and moving towards her seat at the back.
Adrien's annoyed frown softened once he saw the pig-tailed girl stumbling into the class, dropping her stuff in the process. The girl quickly stood up and ran towards her seat, greeting her classmates on the way. Adrien saw the twitch of Lila's left eye as all of the classmates greeted the girl, smiling all the way. The certain rustle in his over-shirt pocket reminded Adrien to keep an eye on the liar. Plagg, due to certain reasons, had been a little attached to the baker girl, unbeknownst to Adrien that the angel sitting behind him is the love of his life as well as the guardian of the Miraculous Box, but Plagg knew, and he had a certain soft spot for the Ladybug Miraculous holder, if he could he would've cataclysm the terrorist they call Lila already. He kept calm though, the god of destruction knew that a certain goddess of creation would give him a scolding if he did anything to disrupt their holders lives'.
__________
The day had gone well, but once lunch arrives, Adrien knew Lila will strike. He saw Lila planting Chloe's expensive necklace into Marinette's bag. The mayor's daughter is known for her unforgiving behavior, if she found her necklace in Marinette's bag, she will accuse without explanation. His blood boiled as he hid behind the door, he had given Lila many chances, his mother taught him to always be forgiving, and he had done just that, only for his princess to be hurt time and time again, now, he's had it, fuck the high road, he's not Gabriel's Agreste's son for nothing. He watched as Lila smirked in triumph, flipping her brown hair and sashaying away.
Adrien waited until the coast is clear, before quietly walking in the classroom, now wondering why doesn't the school provide any security cameras in the classrooms at all. Plagg merely peeked out from his over-shirt pocket, 'Defending your precious girlfriend aren't you? and you still call her a friend,' he muttered the last part. Months of being Chat Noir had strengthen his senses, hearing Plagg spoke the last part brought a small blush to his cheeks, he didn't deny, only muttering a small, ' I still love Ladybug,' . Plagg merely rolled his eyes, 'Yeah yeah loverboy just go help your princess,' before tucking himself back into his over-shirt.
Gabriel taught his son a little, but he still remembered one of the lectures he gotten, is that to never show mercy to someone who is a threat to you. And Marinette is his sunshine, picturing her unhappy broke his heart, he will not let that happen, ever. Lila needs to learn her lesson, and he will make sure she does.
With a flick of his wrist, the expensive jewelry was fished out of the girl's bag, and without a flicker of remorse in his eyes, Adrien swiftly dropped the necklace into Lila's bag behind. Standing up, he glanced around, making sure no one saw it. Plastering a model smile, he walked out of the classroom, muttering a few words for Plagg to keep his cackling down.
_________
'Hey my dude, where have you been?' Nino questioned, his arm draped around his girlfriend's shoulder. They were in the cafeteria, with Marinette, the girl smiled brightly at the model. Adrien's eyes softened at the sight, as he took a seat beside Nino, replying, 'Oh I was caught up in the class, apparently I mixed up my Physics and Chemistry notes together,' . He glanced to the center, where Lila is surrounded by many students, as she spoke about her "latest" story, one about how she and Ladybug had been hanging out together. Alya would've gone to her side, but when that one time Lila purposely let slip that she knew Rena Rouge and Carapace personally, the reporter then knew that Lila Rossi is a liar. Alya then apologized to Marinette. The four best friends chatted through the lunch hour, and a side Adrien never knew he had is excited for class to be in session again.
__________
Adrien knew Chloe will find out eventually, as her shrieks disrupted everyone in the class. Ms, Bustier isn't in yet, and that gives plenty of time for the drama to be unfold. 'My necklace is gone!' the blond screeched. Sabrina beside her was frantic, searching around the floor for it, and even going as far as going through other's desks to find it. Everyone was silent as she screamed, searching through her purse for it. As predicted by Adrien, Lila spoke up in a timid voice, 'Uhm Chloe? Maybe you could tell us what it looks like so we could help you look for it,' she smiled.
Adrien silently chuckled went Marinette grumbled under her breath cutely. Chloe huffed, ignoring Lila, Sabrina spoke up, 'It's this beautiful Bee pendant, it has the shape of a bee, it's really shiny so I think finding it wouldn't be much of a problem, if you guys could help search for it, it would be great, please?' she clapped both hands together. The class, shrugged and merely started to look around, ignoring Chloe's useless protests of accusations towards everyone in the class.
Adrien's eyes flickered towards Lila, the girl pretended to look around, only for her to put up a fake act. her eyes pretended to lit up, as she spoke up in a small voice, 'I remember seeing that necklace Chloe,'. Chloe placed her hands on her hips, 'Well? Where is it?!' . Lila then pretended to be confused, 'Though I'm not sure why Marinette was holding it earlier,' she then clasped her hands to her mouth in surprised, pretending to have said the wrong thing. The classmates had gasped in horror, and Chloe had screamed towards Marinette, demanding for her to empty her bag. Adrien had to hold in the pain as he watched Marinette's eyes flashed hurt ,confusion and anger. Sabrina walked over to Marinette, muttering a soft apology before opening her bag, dumping the contents out.
The class watched, most of them not believing that their kind Marinette would do such a thing. The search went on for a few moments, as Sabrina shook her head towards Chloe. The blonde girl huffed, 'I knew it, Dupain-Cheng wouldn't have the guts to pull of something like that, so Sabrina, check that girl's bag, or whatever her name is, judging at her tacky clothing she definitely seems like someone who would want to get her peasant hands on my priceless necklace,' she accused, and Adrien had to hide his smile of satisfaction as he watched Lila turned pale, quickly finding up excuses, 'You're accusing me? I...I just want to help Chloe,' she said, her voice trembled a little.
Everyone was either too shocked or too perplexed to step in. Lila is loss at words now, she was sure she slipped the necklace into the bluenette's bag, but Marinette seem surprised too, Lila didn't have time to suspect anyone, as she could feel cold sweat dripping down the back of her neck. Sabrina is walking towards her, and began to reach for her bag. Everyone except the four friends gasped in surprise, as Sabrina pulled out a necklace, to be specific, Chloe's necklace, from the side pocket of Lila's bag. Chloe scowled at Lila, as she snapped her fingers for Sabrina to come forward with her necklace. Most of the students were hurt, while some were even glaring at her. Lila thought fast, she had no time to be panicking now, 'I.. I didn't know how it ended up in my bag, someone must have framed me, please guys you have to believe me,' she sobbed, another act that Adrien and Marinette saw through.
Sweet Rose spoke up, 'Let's give Lila another chance guys? The necklace probably dropped into her bag, and maybe Lila saw wrongly of Marinette, maybe they were both framed?' she spoke softly, and Lila had to sigh through her hands, sweet gullible Rose, so clueless. The rest didn't have a chance to speak up as Ms. Bustier walked in the class, telling everyone to settle down and opening her book to start the lesson. Adrien was satisfied, but he knew Lila wouldn't go down after that, so he decided to keep an eye on her for now. Seeing his princess smile in relief, he knew it was worth it.
Lila simply didn't know what went wrong, she was really sure no one had saw her do it, or did she merely forgot it all? A million questions swirled through her mind. Most of the students still shot her suspicious glances. The girl had no time to ponder on the miscalculations she made, she had to gain back their trust, and she knew just what to do the next day.
__________
'Tikki, what do you think happened today?' Marinette had her chin propped up with one hand, the other holding onto a pen, as she wrote halfway in her diary. Tikki giggled quietly, knowing full well what happened. The Miraculous of the ladybug and the black cat represented yin and yang, meaning that they're one. Both of the Miraculous complete the other. Creation may seem powerful and incredible, when really it's vulnerable in many ways, that's why Destruction is there, to make sure nothing happens to Creation. With Creation comes Destruction, it's been like that ever since the beginning.'I'm not sure Marinette, but I do know Lila finally deserved what she got,', Marinette nodded her head, as kind as she may be, she is thrilled to see the shock look on Lila's face. Tikki float towards Marinette front, 'But you really should be more careful Marinette, Lila may have slipped up today, but we'll never know when she will frame you again,' she warned. Marinette giggled, 'Alright Tikki, I'll be more careful,' she kissed the top of the kwami's head.
__________
Lila was sure, today she will ruin Marinette once and for all, she spent all of last night devising a new plan, but first, she had to earn back the trust of the class. She went for Mylene first, knowing full well that she is just as vulnerable as Rose. Stepping up to her in the locker room, she spoke in her best "sweet" voice, 'Mylene, I just want to say, I really didn't know how Chloe's necklace got into my bag, and I'm really sorry if I broke your trust, I really didn't know what happened,' she pleaded. Mylene, being the sweet girl she is, smiled, 'Of course Lila, we were pretty shocked yesterday, and might have judged you too quickly, I want to apologize too,' she smiled, which Lila inwardly sneered at. She flashed her a sweet smile, grabbing both of her hands, she questioned in an innocent tone, 'So are we still friends?'.
Mylene softly grabbed onto her hands, 'Of course Lila, we're friends,' . Lila scoffed, Who does she think she is? Grabbing my hands like that, these peasants aren't worth near my delicate ones. She hid her disgust as she embraced the shorter girl. Meanwhile, Marinette and Alya were at the half-Chinese's locker, Alya scoffed, covering her mouth with her tablet to speak to Marinette, 'Can you believer her? I can't believe I used to worship her, poor Mylene,' . Marinette rolled her eyes at Lila, she was glad somebody was on her side. 'They'll find out she's lying one day Alya,' the bluenette assured. Alya looked at Marinette and embraced her, 'Girl, I'm so sorry I didn't believe you before, now I know how you feel,' . Marinette smiled sweetly, the opposite of Lila's own smile.
'Hey! How my favourite dudettes hangin?' Nino waved towards them, as the two girls exited the locker room, heading to class. The upcoming DJ slung an arm around Alya, Adrien tailing behind, waving at them softly. Marinette waved back at the two. As the four were about to head up, Marinette halted, 'I left my bag in the locker room again!' she sulked. Alya chuckled, 'You're too cute Mari, go get it, we'll wait for you here,', Marinette nodded and ran, almost tripping over her own feet. Adrien had to ignore the flutter in his heard upon seeing their "Everyday Ladybug" so vulnerable and adorable.
Alya turned towards Adrien, Nino's arm still slung around her, 'So, Sunshine boy, what happened yesterday?' she questioned, Nino looking at the both of them questioningly. Adrien cocked a teasing brow, his Chat Noir side showing a little, 'Whatever do you mean, Alya?' he smiled. Alya jabbed a finger to his chest, 'Don't play dumb with me, Golden Boy, I saw your expression when Lila got exposed, that was your doing wasn't it?' she demanded. Poor Nino didn't understand what's going on, but soon caught up when he recalled yesterday's event, 'Dude? That was you? How?'. Adrien sighed, 'I couldn't let Lila bully Marinette, and I think it's time she learned her lesson, I'm done playing the high road, I won't let anything happen to Marinette,' he spoke in a low voice, not wanting to gain the attention of the students around them. With that he caught up towards Marinette, who is making her way towards them, both of them engaging in a conversation seconds later.
Nino and Alya looked at Adrien shocked, as the two walked up the stairs. The turtle hero and the fox hero following soon after. Nino could then make out a string of words that his girlfriend muttered, 'Just a friend my butt,'.
__________
It's Art class for their first period, and their work is painting. Lila is finding it hard to get to Marinette, Alya and Nino were always with her, and so is Adrien, she fumed as she eyed Adrien leaning towards Marinette to compliment her art, the girl flashing him a grateful smile, a pink hue dusted her cheeks. Adrien is supposed to be fawning over her! Not that good for nothing baker girl! Lila was blinded by anger and jealousy, and the plan she so carefully devised last night was dumped to the side of her brain. The spotted hero in civilian form now began to stand up, and walked out the class to wash her cup filled with dirtied paint water. The moment she passed by Lila, the olive-eyed girl forgot all about staying calm and composed, sticking her foot out, to which Marinette is unaware of (focused on the part where she might accidentally spill the water) and tripped her. Marinette fell, her cup knocked out of her hands, and drenched her body from head to chest.
Students turned their focus from their painting to the fallen girl on the floor, soaking wet at this point. Most of them came to aid her, while some of them chuckled and turned back towards their work, dismissing this as another one of Marinette's clumsiness. Adrien was not convinced, he saw Lila's foot stuck out when his princess tripped. Meanwhile Marinette sneezed from the cold air hitting her drenched body, her hands flew to wrap around herself, shivering. Alya rushed to aid her best friend, but Adrien beat her to it, taking off his white over-shirt and wrapping it around the girl, supporting the girl as he excused both of them to get Marinette cleaned up, despite the pig-tailed girl's flustered state.
Before they left, Adrien shot Lila a look, his usual kind green eyes turned acid-green as he glared at her, a warning glare. Lila flinched a little, but quickly masked it, as she gushed on how clumsy Marinette is, inside she is burning with rage towards the blue-haired girl, What does Adrien see in her?!  She cursed at herself for letting rage blind her. The class isn't much help either, instead they're adding fuel to Lila's fire, gushing on the "Adrienette" moment that just happened. They were all supposed to be shipping her and Adrien! They would make a much better pair than Adrienette!
_________
'I could've sworn I tripped over something,' Marinette spoke from the inside of the girls bathroom, while Adrien stood outside, waiting for her. He had handed her his spare black shirt in his locker, his white over-shirt now fitted to his body once again. The man sighed, 'I saw Lila trip you, are you hurt anywhere?' he spoke with concern. 'I'm fine Adrien, thanks for caring, I have to be careful from where I'm walking now,' she giggled. The door opened as Marinette stepped out, in one of Adrien's shirt, her black jacket sealed in a bag. Marinette rinsed her dirtied hair with clean water to wash the paint off, letting her hair down for ti to dry quicker. Despite sounding normal, the girl is still in a rather flustered state, 'Are you sure about your shirt? I don't think your father would do well with his son's shirt on some random girl,' she tugged on the hem of the large shirt nervously. Despite Adrien's lanky frame, he is still a lot taller and broader than Marinette, and the half-Asian is a petite girl. Adrien fought back the blush, covering his face with his hands, the girl looked so adorable and small he had the urge to just embrace her and never let go. 'It's fine Marinette, besides, my father wouldn't mind, if I explain the situation to him I'm sure he'll understand,' he straightened up. Marinette stammered, flushing red, 'I....B..but I didn't want you to get in trouble because of me! I...I promised to give it back tomorrow!' she squeaked the last part.
The blonde swallowed dryly, muttering something that went unheard by Marinette, 'She's going to be the death of me one day,', staring down at the fidgety girl, he placed a hand on her shoulder, smiling, 'It's okay Marinette, really, keep the shirt, I have more at home, you need it more than I do, now come on, let's get back to class,', he grabbed her hand and led her out, ignoring the slight rustle of movement in his shirt pocket. Marinette is a blushing mess right about now, just when she thought she is moving on, she managed to fall in love with him again, and it's more complicated now as she was just starting to feel butterflies around her kitty too. Tikki peeked out from her holder's purse, giggling quietly at her owner, if only she knew.
__________
Squeals were heard in the art room, which were identified as Alya's and Rose's. The entire class is welcomed by a flushed Marinette and a slightly pink Adrien. The art teacher merely smiled at them as he watched the scene. The blond made sure his pig-tailed princess was back to his seat then went back to his own, where Nino nudged him in the ribs coyly. Alya and the rest of the girls, excluding Lila, Chloe and Sabrina, the brunette is raging at this point (surprisingly there's still no akuma) at her seat, rushed to the bluenette, demanding details. 'Girl explain to us why are you in Adrien Agreste's shirt?!' Alya shook the girl hard. Rose squealed, 'Oh my gosh It's so romantic! He lent you his shirt!' she sighed dreamily, leaning against Juleka, who merely gave a nod of approval towards Marinette. Alix placed both hands behind her head, whistling, 'I do hope you both didn't do anything more~' she teased. Adrien peeked and chuckled to himself when Marinette buried her red face in her hands, and let out a muffled scream, avoiding eye contact from everyone. The black cat in civilian form had to finally admit that Marinette isn't just a friend after all, though he still has feelings for his bugaboo. Mylene gushed, 'You're so adorable Marinette, relax, Alix's just teasing you,' . Marinette tucked half of her face into the large shirt, breathing deeply into the boy's scent, all the while hiding her flushed face from the others.
Lila is fuming, her neatly detailed plan was all ruin, all because of her jealousy. Putting up her fake act, she can't afford to receive anymore of the accusing glances, and strutted off to gush at Marinette, biting her tongue in disgust.
__________
It's P.E. The teacher had decided with dodgeball, the most feared yet celebrated sport among the students. What's worse is that she announced the rules to be different. Where one boy and girl were teamed together. But, alas, exceptions were made. The rules were simple, the boys can get hit by the balls, while the girls are to throw the balls, but if the girls do get hit, then the pair is out. Lila, once again lied about her Arthritis acting up again.
The P.E. teacher was, well, you could say a romantic that loves shipping students together. She paired up, of course, the heroes of Paris, Adrien and Marinette, followed by Alya and Nino, Kim and Alix, Max and Sabrina, Mylene and Ivan, Juleka and Rose (the teacher made an exception, Juleka took up the role of the boy, protecting sweet Rose from the rage of dodgeballs.). Poor Nathaniel got paired with Chloe, much to his dismay. Lila's head snapped up, once hearing Adrien and Marinette's name together. She couldn't do anything but just watch as Adrien pulled Marinette to their spot, with Marinette beginning her self-conscious rambles on how she would be slowing Adrien down.
Marinette knew she was clumsy, as the game started, her guilt built up as Adrien shielded her from the incoming balls, with most of them knowing Marinette's high chance of slipping up and tumbling over her own feet. Adrien, with his cat-like reflexes worked perfectly to prevent the balls from hitting his princess.
Lila watched in jealousy, as Adrien grabbed the bluenette's hips, twirling her behind him, not even her anger towards Ladybug can suppress the rage for Marinette inside Lila. Soon, a few pairs were out. Poor Nathaniel had to kneel down to apologize to Chloe when failing to protect her from the incoming ball fired by Alya. Juleka and Rose were soon out, Rose squealing many apologies for not being able to throw the balls correctly, Juleka silencing her with a cheek kiss. Alix and Kim were on fire, aiming to destroy every last one of the pairs. Their latest victims were Max and Sabrina, both laughed a little at their defeat, joining the others to the benches.
Alya and Nino, and Adrien and Marinette, engaged in a little war, where they keep firing balls at each other. Alya mocked the poor clumsy girl poking behind form Adrien's shoulder. 'Come on Mari, look at poor Adrien, he looks bruised all over, are you going to just stand behind him and let him take all the hits by himself?' she high-fived Nino, who just merely chuckled as Adrien shot them an annoyed glance. Marinete grumbled, deciding to let her Ladybug confidence take over her for just this once.
Mylene and Ivan were out soon, when the shorter girl tripped over a ball, causing her to fall, the ball rolling over to Lila's foot. Once Ivan and Mylene were settled on the bench, Alix called out from the center, 'Lila! Could you throw the ball over here?! Me and Kim are going to pulverized those two!' she slammed her palm with her fist, as Kim gathered up the scattered balls. Lila smiled, an idea popping up in her twisted, evil mind. Grabbing the ball, she threw it as hard as she could, but not aiming at the sporty pair, instead, at Marinette, who is wide open for the ball to hit her. Lila made it seem like she missed her aim, as the class watched in horror, the ball merely a few seconds away from Marinette's head.
Adrien's cat senses picked up the ball coming towards Marinette. Reaching one hand to push Marinette behind him by the waist, he blocked the ball with his arm, his glare fixated on Lila. Marinette barely knew what was going on, she stared at the man before her with wide eyes. Lila gritted her teeth, harming Marinette isn't as easy as she thought it would be, as Adrien seems to have appointed himself Marinette's knight in shining armor (knight in shining black leather, to be more precise), but Lila didn't seem to learn her lesson just yet, Adrien had confirmed so himself, the evil glint in Lila's eyes showed that she is stubborn, and not the kind he sees in his lady and Marinette's eyes. Lila smiled apologetically, 'Oops! My Arthritis is acting up again! I hope you're alright Adrien and Marinette!'.
Adrien put on his model facade, 'It's all good Lila, thanks for the ball, now we have extras to defeat the remaining pairs!' he smiled. Kim and Alix scoffed from the center, 'As if!'. The three pairs went through war, Marinette beginning to feel more and more confident during their battle, laughing and throwing balls more frequently. Adrien saw as Marinette giggled, one of her balls hitting Alya's elbow, to which both of them yelled out words of frustration. The sight of her sweaty and laughing reminded him so much of his lady he couldn't help but fall deeper in her spell, he knew he was screwed once he stared into her bluebell eyes that seem to resemble Ladybug so much.
Kim's shout broke Adrien out of his trance, as he looked toward Alix, who is armed and ready to attack them, determined to remain superior in the battlefield of sports. What she didn't know, (but will soon find out when she gets her Miraculous) is that she's facing Paris's beloved badass duo.
As if their Ladybug and Chat Noir senses kicked in, Adrien blocked the ball, Marinette coming out from behind, holding one of the balls. The adrenaline flowing through her veins as she momentarily forgot about everything, focusing only on the target in front of them. Tossing up the ball, she jumped up, her form of hitting the ball reflected through Adrien's pupils. He had forgotten all about everything, admiring the beautiful sight of the girl he had called his "Everyday Ladybug". Marinette drew her right arm back, spiking the ball towards Alix, who her and Kim never expected to see it coming. The entire moments was so fast, the class was in awe. They had seldom gotten to see this side of Marinette, and they had cherished it.
The ball hit Alix's hip, which Kim failed to shield her from the shock he had just received. When Marinette dropped to the ground, Adrien had lifted her up and spun her around, both laughing in victory. The entire class, excluding Lila again, had rushed towards them, celebrating their success, thought Kim and Alix began a playful argument on who wasn't fast enough.
Lila gritted her teeth in anger, her olive eyes squinted in jealousy. The saying of "Jealousy is an ugly thing" is proven to be right. Lila had lost all sense of logic, blinded by jealousy, she wanted Marinette done.
_________
'Still a friend to you kid?' Plagg teased, holding onto his daily dose of camembert, Adrien grumbled into his pillow, muttering 'Are her eyes always this blue? Am i falling in love? What happened to Ladybug? Can you be in love with two at the same time? What's happening to me?' the question flowed out of his mouth. Plagg laughed hysterically, 'Kid, maybe you should try going for pig-tails this time, imagine, all the good bread to go with cheese!'. he gobbled down the smelly cheese. Adrien lift his head to face Plagg, 'You always think with your stomach,'. Plagg shrugged, 'So what are you doing with the sausage girl?' the god of destruction started calling her  that after getting a good look at her hair, he really thought it was sausages hanging from her hair.
'She seems pretty angry today, I think it's only a matter of time before she completely loses it, we'll take the high road for now, I never thought annoying someone could be this fun,' he chuckled. Plagg settled himself onto the boy's bed, 'I guess they can strip off your title as Sunshine Boy,'. Adrien merely chuckled and settled down, staring at the ceiling, sorting out his feelings.

Adrien was right, Lila had lost her temper days after, all her built up lies and threats fall into the ditch. She let her emotions take over and lost everything she once had.
It was during school when some students had extra classes, the Akuma Class had one extra period in Chemistry, as they went to their locker to gather their things for the class.
Lila has had it, she spent the whole day tripping Marinette, even going as far as spreading rumors, and framing her. But it always didn't go her way, if anything it made Marinette more loved, and she had to control herself from pouncing on her when having to watch the class gush on how close the bluenette and blond had gotten. She knew Adrien is preventing everything she is planning, constantly in the right place at the right time, she was furious at Adrien for stopping her. He was suppose to be fawning over her like the other mindless idiots! Seeing the two of them so close together at Marinette's locker, with Marinette leaning back a little to show Adrien something form her sketchbook, the man leaning in a little, his chin almost touching the girl's shoulder. It was such a sickeningly sweet posture that it practically radiates diabetes. Alya had her phone out while the girls gushed over it.
Deciding it was the last straw, and momentarily forgetting the presence of practically the whole class in the locker room. Stomping over to them, she screeched like a spoiled child, or in most people's case, a banshee. 'I have had it with you Dupain-Cheng! You were supposed to be an outcast! Alone! I was supposed to be there next to Adrien! Not you! I didn't plan all of this just for you to get closer to him! Ughh! I hate you!' she screamed it all at a stunned Marinette.
Before Marinette could respond, Lila continued, letting her rage completely take over, 'And you! You're supposed to be fawning over me! Like the mindless idiots in the class! Not going over to her! She's a nobody! What's so great about her anyway! I'm a model! I worked with the famous Gabriel! All she ever does is doodle some ugly designs and bake bread! I'm the one who's worthy of the Agreste name! Me! If you have gotten together with me I would've actually met Jagged Stone and Prince Ali, then I wouldn't  have to lie about this! I wouldn't have to lie about all these stupid diseases and everyone would be flocking over to me! Not this girl you called your "Everyday Ladybug" !' she finished, panting, challenging Adrien, who suddenly had his arm around Marinette, both of them glaring at the brunette.
Lila froze, she looked around her, the entire Akuma class stared at her, shock. Alya had her phone out. Oh no, she messed up, it was all going so well, and she let her anger control her. She now wished for an akuma to take over her already. Quickly thinking of a new excuse, she spoke with a paled face, 'Oh no! I let my disease take over me again! I'm sorry, I swear I didn't mean what I said to Marinette and Adrien! My lying disease had acted up again. Please understand!' she cried out, fake tears streaming down her face.
Alix broke the silence, screaming, 'So Marinette was right all along! You are a liar! I can't believe you!'.
'So uncool Lila!'
'You've been lying all this time! And we thought Marinette was jealous! Oh Poor Marinette!'
'There is a 99.97% chance that there is no such disease Lila,'
'How could you Lila! We would've accepted you just fine when you don't lie!'
Lila's eyes widened, 'N...no guys! It really is a disease! Please! You have to believe me!' she cried out, her face turning as white as a sheet of paper. Nino called out, 'I don't think the word "believe" would suit this conversation right now Lila, you just lied to all of us, and you even framed our dudette Marinette for all those horrible things! That's low!' the DJ shook his head in disappointment.
Lila's shocked expression morphed into something uglier, anger, turning around, she screamed at Marinette, 'It's all your fault! If you weren't in the way! I would've been in the spotlight! I hate you! You're nothing but a nuisance in our lives! I wish you were gone! I don't get what Adrien sees in you!' she was about to scream more when she flinched at the sound of a fist against the locker door. Looking to wards the source, she was greeted by the hovering figure of one Adrien Agreste, his fist still remaining against the metal material of the locker, his eyes, acid-green, glinting dangerously at her, 'Shut up Lila,' he growled, something that the others were not aware that he could create.
'W..what?' Lila was speechless. Adrien spoke up in a low voice, 'I said shut up, you don't get to talk about our "Everyday Ladybug" like that, nor do you have the privilege. I like her, you want to know why? Because unlike you, Marinette doesn't go lying about everything, and she actually works hard to achieve her dreams. She actually met Jagged Stone, but she didn't brag it all out like you, she's humble, she's kind, and she puts other's needs before herself, and, Rossi, that is why Marinette would always be a thousand times more better than you. I'm not stupid Rossi, I know you've been spying on my on behalf of my dad, you manipulated him to get closer to him, so don't go spouting all that nonsense of you wanting the best for me, you don''t care about me, you just want my last name, and I despise people like you. So don't talk about my princess like that, is that clear?' he finished. Marinette's eyes lit up at the mention of her nickname. Only one person has ever called me princess, she flushed red at the realization.
Adrien is Chat Noir!
I've been rejecting him for him!
And he just openly confessed to me, if this is a dream don't wake me up?
Lila's eyes were wide, she didn't seem to hear the "Since when did you call Marinette princess?!" from Alya behind her, all she could focus was the fact that her future would be ruin, all the fame and fortune she ever dreamed off, gritting her teeth, she pointed towards him, showing her true colors at last, 'Really?! You don't know what I'm capable of Agreste, I could get you out of school with just a few of my words! Your father wouldn't even know what's coming! Ha! Do you think I really liked you?! You're just a stepping stone towards my popularity! And here I thought you were perfect?! If it weren't for your last name then I would've just turn you into one of my minions!'
Adrien's eyes reflected hurt, he hated being recognized only for his name, it makes him think that all he's ever good for is his name, not what he truly is. Lila noticed this, sneering, she mocked, 'What Agreste, you're going to hurt me? Slap me? Think before you act blondie, I can tarnish your reputation by reporting that you, a boy, hit me, a delicate woman, imagine what would the press think of you?' she cackled.
Marinette has had it, no one, and she means no one, talks to her precious kitty like that! Drawing her hand back, she slapped the girl across her face cleanly. Lila stumbled back, while everyone widened their eyes at the force coming from the petite girl. The Italian touched her now red cheek, anger rising quickly, how dare that peasant slap her! Before she could take it out, Marinette beat her to it, and the force of her voice caused everyone to silence themselves immediately.
'Adrien can't hit you, but I can! How dare you! You witch! Using Adrien and my friends like that as your pawns! They're not some dolls you can control! Can't you see you're hurting them! I would've tolerate you if you target me only! But you're the kind that thinks of yourself as some goddess or ruler, that you're above us all! Manipulating us, lying to us! You really are the worst of the worst! Adrien knew you were lying, but being the sweet and kind person he is he gave you chance for you to change, but what did you do?! You used this kindness to your advantage! Adrien isn't some kind of trophy for you to hang around your arm! He's a real person who just wants to live a normal life, instead people like you used him, turned him into some kind of eye candy! Can't you see he needs emotional support?! He needs someone there for him, his father is always busy and he just lost his mother! He's hurting inside, and you don't even acknowledge that fact! Well let me tell you this Lila, we are not minions who you can control! You will either apologize to them or stay an outcast! Unlike Adrien, I am not that kind to let you off the hook!' Marinette finished, out of breath.
Adrien stared at the girl, the sight of her standing up to him almost made his eyes water, she's simply the most amazing girl he met besides Ladybug, he wondered to himself on how he didn't notice this goddess of a woman before. The confidence, the voice, the posture, it reminded him so much of his lady, he had never fallen more harder than ever for a girl, not even Ladybug crossed his mind as his eyes only ever saw Marinette Dupain-Cheng right now.
Lila had her eyes wide open once again, she was pale, and everyone could almost hear a whimper escaping her lips. The class stared at Marinette, their class president is incredible! The liar had to mutter a small apology half-heartedly and ran out, ashamed and embarrassed.
The situation was so tense they were surprise an akuma didn't appear already. Alix cut it off with a wolf-whistle, Alya shoved her phone towards Nino and ran towards Marinette, 'Girl that was so awesome! You're so amazing! Just like Ladybug!' she hugged the half-Asian. Soon after the rest of the girls joined, thanking Marinette. Everyone just stood there thanking their beloved class president, well, almost everyone, Adrien still had that lovesick gaze on her, which did not go unnoticed by Alya.
The Ladyblogger placed her hands on her hips, smirking teasingly, 'So, Sunshine Boy, what's all this about liking my girl Marinette and calling her princess? Isn't she "just a friend"?' she quoted. Adrien snapped out of his trance, face burning red as he stammered some quiet words out, covering his face. Rose squealed, 'You do like Marinette! Oh it's so romantic on how you defended each other! You're just like Ladybug and Chat Noir!'. The rest of the class nodded in approval. 'It's like they're the civilian versions of Paris's superheroes!' Mylene giggled.
Both Marinette and Adrien took this as a suspicion on their superhero identities, flushing red, they held their hands up and denied everything in panic. Their friends laughed at the two's reaction, 'You two really are made for each other! Just kiss already!' Alix called out, fist bumping Kim in the process. They flushed red again, as Chloe called out, 'Ugh! As if I'm seeing those two lock lips! Sabrina! Let's go! We're late for Chemistry!'  she snapped her fingers, beckoning the girl to follow her. The class gasped in surprise, they were approximately 15 minutes late for their class! Yells of surprise were heard and within seconds the locker room was empty, except for the bluenette and blond.
'Adrien? Did you really mean what you said earlier?' Marinette bit her lip, looking down at the ground shyly. The blonde lifted the girl's chin up slowly, in a soft voice, he spoke, 'Yes, I really like you Marinette, and I realized I had been for awhile, you're the most amazing girl I've ever met, and I have been pretty blind for not noticing such a wonderful girl in front of me, I'll be delighted if you'll return my feelings,' he gave her a shy smile. Marinette would've exploded, but she bear the thought that the man in front of her was her partner, the one that had been in love with her alter-ego for so long, confessed to her twice, and her heart swelled at the feeling. 'Of course Adrien, you have no idea how long I've been in love with you, and yes, you have been pretty blind to not notice,' she giggled at the last part. 'We'll talk about this later, okay? We're both really late for class,' Marinette began to leave, but Adrien stopped her to thank her once again.
'Marinette, i just want to thank you for standing up to me, it really means a lot to me, You're really amazing you know that?' he added the last part with a soft smile, one that the spotter-hero had seen frequently on a certain feline-hero. Adrien rubbed the back of his neck shyly, Marinette smiled, 'It's alright Adrien, plus,' she leaned towards his ear, whispering the last part clearly, 'I couldn't let her bad-mouthed my chaton that way, could I?' giggled quietly to herself, she walked out, not before shooting a quick wink towards the model.
Adrien stood there, frozen. Did she just call me? Only one person calls me that. No, it cant be. I can't be that lucky. Then, if she says she's been in love with me for awhile, then that means, she rejected me, for me?  Piecing the puzzles together, he came to a conclusion: Marinette is Ladybug. Why wouldn't she be? they're both brave, courageous, kind and Adrien had to say, extremely gorgeous. Hearing Plagg stifle a laughter inside his pocket, his suspicions were correct. He's the holder of the black cat Miraculous, the literal owner of the God of destruction and bad luck, how could he be this lucky?
Smiling in a lovesick way, he promised to himself that once the pig-tailed girl was his, he would never let her go, not ever again.
(This is just a one-shot to giving our heroes some justice, absolutely no Lila hate)

A Decision at the Crossroads
A Heartland AU - Chapter 4 – Finale
While Ty went to fetch his phone Amy popped open one of the side panels on the trailer and unsnapped the table that was first in line. She reached her arms wide to grab it and start lifting it out when Ty showed up.
“Whoa easy Amy, I’ll get it.”
“I’m fine.”
“Of course you are now back up please.”
“Thank you Ty.” She said and stepped aside “and 5 of the chairs please.”
“Six actually Kelsey’s coming.”
“Kelsey ?”
“Dr. Burton, my namesake apparently.” He said laying the table on it’s side and unfolding the legs. “Hey, this is nice set up.”
“We take trips with kids, believe me a table is always easier and cleaner than watching them balance plates. Besides it’s more homey and civilized.”
“I’ll file that away” he said maneuvering the table and then placing chairs as Amy opened and gave them a wipe with a damp cloth as well as the table. She had also removed a little basket with a tablecloth sealed in a zip loc bag, and began to spread it. As well as counting out silverware found in the basket as well.
“Ty there’s another basket with plates and more pitchers.” She said watching him walk over as she grabbed one pitcher from her now empty basket and put it on the table.
They set the table together, each handling three settings and Amy ran in for a roll of paper towels. He watched as she took a second to look at the table, nodded and walked over to lower herself into a chair slowly. She was wearing a blue dungaree dress that went down to her knees, it had ¾ sleeves and embroidery along the hem and collar. Obviously a maternity dress, he was captivated by her shape.
“You need to stop staring at me Ty, I’m becoming very self conscious, I already think I look like a beach ball.”
“You don’t, I’m sorry, you look great. Two kids, one on the way, I’m, I don’t know….”
“Three actually, you’re the first to hear, Clint Riley called, they have a foster for us, a young boy named Luke Kashani, he’s nine. Clint’s bringing him Monday.”
“Clint Riley, he’s still around huh. That’s nice, keeping that tradition going.”
“Yeah, Scott, you, Georgie, remember Badger, it’s nice.”
“Mitch mentioned Georgie and something with Lou, he also told me about the divorce.”
“Georgie was an orphan who ran away from her foster family in Okotoks, she stowed away in Grandpa’s pickup and found her way to Heartland. She was a keeper. The divorce is what it was I guess, it’s now amicable with benefits apparently, works for them.”
“Georgie lives with Lou at Heartland ?”
“Lou took a condo in town when she became Mayor and lives there with Katie. We fixed up the loft when I got back from Europe as a nice studio and I lived there alone and then with Mitch for awhile before moving to Saddle River, his family ranch, his parents have an independent living condo in Calgary. Georgie and Quinn are engaged and live in the loft, Grandpa and Lisa live in the house.”
“I heard Jack married Lisa, I saw an article about the Hall of Fame that mentioned it. I’m sorry about your dad Amy, I read about his passing.”
“The death of a legend, it was a nice tribute.”
“I saw a tribute to Lou as Mayor too, ordering the stay in place at home and closing Maggie’s early on definitely seemed to make a difference in the area.”
“It did and I think she’ll be remembered for that, this is her last term, she’s not running again. Enough about Hudson, tell me about you, is there someone special, Kelsey maybe ?”
“Nah, Kelsey and I never, there have been women over the years but I’m free now, I’m picky I guess.”
“Well when it happens you’ll know.”
“You and Mitch look happy.”
“We are, very happy.”
“How’s Jack ?”
“Older, pretty much retired, his arthritis, heart problems, a hard 90, for a former bronc rider and Alberta cowboy not fun.”
“Lisa ?”
“Lisa’s good, the perfect grandmother, she loves the kids. So does Casey, Lyndy adores them both. Mitch’s folks too.”
“Casey, I know this.”
“McMurtry.”
“Right, McMurtry Rodeos, they come around every couple years.”
She noticed quickly enough that he had changed the subject. “Ty ? Are you happy ?”
Ty looked at her and into her eyes, Amy could see that he wasn’t teary but there was disappointment, a small sadness in his face “I guess, I mean I don’t think I’m unhappy.”
“Were you happier yesterday ? Mitch said he thought you might be having a case of the might have beens.”
“I didn’t need to see you for that. The baby was eye popping don’t get me wrong and not in a bad way Amy, you look amazing, really the, well,  the high school boyfriend comment, that sort of slammed a world of reality down on me.”
“That’s what we were, we were an actual couple for most of my high school 3rd year, my senior year was a nightmare, we were way better as friends than as a couple Ty, we were a lousy couple.” She was smiling and not being harsh, her tone somewhat softly nostalgic, it was in fact a long time ago.
“Come on, that’s a bit extreme don’t you think ?”
“Really ? You really think ?” She said,  again somewhat amused and again not in anything more than the nostalgia of it “we had a good few months, you know Kit and the Quarantine and then I won the Ring of Fire and rather than joining me and perhaps a later bike trip in the summer to see some of the world you decided that you needed to go off alone for a few weeks. So, after the excitement of motels with my dad on tour and while I spent the rest of the summer working and doing what used to be your job on top of mine you came home almost 4 months later with a huge dose of misplaced maturity and Blair. Then Chase stuck his nose in, we were a good couple for 7 months, maybe. Look Ty, I know about what Grandpa did and he told me what led up to that talk and him sending you off. I don’t know what brought you to that point or why you didn’t come home, but it was your decision, we all had to live with your decision.”
“Looking back, I don’t know either honestly.”
“And I don’t know what would have happened if you had but I do know this, my life with Mitch and our kids feels so right to me that I can’t imagine life without him being a part of it, I’m not saying this to hurt you Ty, but your best days are still ahead of you.”
“So this is the honest conversation part we didn’t do back then huh ?”
“This is it.”
“How do you do it and go on together ?”
“You say it, get it out of your system and have sex, then you fix it in the morning.” She answered smiling.
“Well to be fair we weren’t, at the time, you know.” He said smiling.
“That’s true”, Amy agreed and immediately blushed and then agreed with a smirky smile and a nod, “hey, you’ve,  you know, since, right ?”
“Huh ?” Then realizing she meant had sex, “oh, oh yeah, no worries.”
“So, you’re still driving a classic truck I see, what’s that an early 70’s GMC ?”
“Yeah,’73, hey, whatever happened to Harley and Old Blue ?”
“After a while Caleb took Harley because, well, it broke my heart to see him every day and he eventually found him a nice home with a couple kids who were going to share him.”
“Sorry, I really wanted to,,,,, forget it. And the truck ?”
“Grandpa kept the truck running and in front of the house for months figuring if nothing else you’d show up in the night and drive it off but you didn’t and one day it wouldn’t start so he hauled it next to Goldie swearing he’d fix it one day.”
“So it’s just sitting there rotting ?”
“Well no actually, about the time Caleb sold Harley I was sick of looking at it so I got rid of it.”
“You sold it.”
“Well, in the interest of honesty, not exactly.”
“What does that mean, exactly ?”
“I attached the promise ring to the ignition key and had it crushed.”
“You had it crushed ?”
“I needed closure Ty, it was invigorating, a grand release of emotions.”
Ty stared at her for a few seconds in shock and then Amy started laughing and then holding her stomach bent over and laughing. “I’m sorry Ty.”
“It’s Ok” he said laughing along with her.
“Oh here, give me your hand.” She said reaching out, she loves it when I laugh “come on silly give me your hand” she prodded seeing the look on his face.
Finally she grabbed his hand and hauled it over, “come here I don’t bite,” gently she turned his palm and lay it over the right side of her belly holding her hand over his. A few seconds later she smiled, “there, feel that ?”
When she stretched out her leg rather than kicking Ty identified a second feeling and realizing it was really no different that any animal understood “that’s a stretch.”
“That’s it” she said gently releasing the pressure. “I think we’ll call her Marion, it’s time. Marion Fleming Cutty.”
“That’s really great, so Lyndy.”
“Lyndy Sarah, Mitch’s grandmother. Jackson Timothy and Marion no middle yet.”
“And Luke was it ?”
“Luke Kashani. I guess we’ll need something for a toast, is there a place to get some wine close by ?
“I have beer for dinner and a couple bottles of champagne I can donate to the cause. You drink ?”
“Oh no, I‘ve had a couple sips of champagne as toasts, wedding night and the like, but not, no, I don’t. Especially pregnant.”
“It was just a question Amy.”
She smiled and nodded, “you wouldn’t by any chance have any ice in there for the water ?”
“There’s an ice machine in the barn for ice packs and stuff.”
“You get the champagne, I’ll do the ice.” She said pushing herself up with a grunt.
He smiled watching her move, almost awkwardly, before turning to the house while she walked slowly into the barn.
She wasn’t at the table when he returned and neither were the pitchers so he walked over to the barn where he found the pitchers full of ice on a small table by the barn door and then heard her on the other side by the paddock. Following her voice he turned around the barn and found her engrossed in conversation with the three rescues she had never met. He stood there watching her and the horses who seemed very anxious to be close. The soft sing song pater of her voice a sweet memory for him, the miracle girl.
She turned and smiled “Oh hey, I saw them and figured I’d say hi. We should probably get them stalled and fed.”
“As soon as the guys get back we’ll get it done, you’re wearing a dress, come on.”
They returned to the table after Ty filled the cooler he carried out with ice as well, as a truck Amy did not know pulled up and an early 40’s woman stepped out and over. She had a welcoming smile and a pretty face.
Amy looked up and smiled, “you must be Kelsey, it’s good to meet you, I’m Amy Fleming, Mitch’s wife” she finished extending her hand.
“Kelsey Burton, good to meet you Amy,”
“Sit, relax, we’re waiting for Mitch and Matt to get back.”
“How far along are you if you don’t mind my asking.”
“Little over 5 months I guess, you have kids ?”
“Two, one about to start high school and one about to go to college. Mitch said this is your third, we never got to three before the arguing got too bad, we married way too young.”
They all turned as Mitch’s truck came onto the property, the large Cummins Diesel was not quiet as it pulled up.
Amy smiled when he got out the cab and opened the back door along with Matt repeating the act on the passenger side.
Ty walked off to grab the cooler he had put by the barn and offered beers to all. Amy poured a few waters on her side of the table as Kelsey helped with the food and Mitch and Matt led the horses into the barn.
Once laid out Kelsey examined the table.
“This is a lot of food you guys.” Kelsey said.
Mitch who had come out the barn wiping his hands on a paper towel glanced over at Amy who grinned and him and made a face “don’t you dare.” She said blushing.
“Still eats her weight ?” Ty asked seeing the exchange only to have a dinner roll thrown his way which he caught.
“Hey, what happened to civilized dinner ?” Ty said laughing before sitting down.
Dinner was long and drawn out. Kelsey and Ty talked about the practice, Matt had sheriff stories and Amy and Mitch talked about adventures of their own and their kids. Amy was surprised at the chemistry between Kelsey and Ty and the looks they passed to each other like old friends but maybe something more. Amy was past the age thing, her dad and Casey and Jack and Lisa proved that.  She was not surprised at all that Ty was friends with Kelsey’s kids or that Ty caught every baseball and hockey game her sons played, in and out of school. At one point during a lull in the eating Ty lifted the champagne so that Amy could see.
“Good a time as any.” She said reaching for clean cups and passing them over.
“Champagne, what are we celebrating ?” Mitch asked.
“Us” Amy said as Ty passed cups around after the big pop.
“Why us ?”
“Because sweetheart congratulations are generally tendered when one is told he’s about to become a father, Clint called before, we have a 9 year old foster son arriving Monday morning, Luke Kashani.”
“Luke Kashani, 9 years old, wow.” Mitch repeated.
“Congratulations you two, that’s wonderful” Kelsey announced raising her glass and tapping it to Mitch’s and then Amy’s iced tea that Mitch remembered to get. Soon they were onto 9 year old boy stories and Amy reached out to grab the platter of ribs and dropped them. Not hard but everyone turned to her as she reached for her side.
“Easy girl, mom’s just grabbing for some ribs.” She whispered and then seeing Mitch’s look took his hand as she had Ty’s and then kissed his palm, something she had not done to Ty before placing it on the spot.
“She’s really going at it.” He said smiling and then leaned forward to grab the ribs and bring them closer for Amy who smiled and kissed him before pushing a few onto her plate.
“What do they put in this Cole slaw, it’s always awesome and I can’t figure it out.” Kelsey asked putting some on her plate.
“It’s horseradish” Amy said after swallowing.
“Is this a pregnancy thing ?” Matt asked “heightened palate ?”
Amy shrugged trying to swallow her next bite before answering, “It’s years of studying herbs and alternate remedies. Single ingredients are easy usually unless the tastes are ambiguous like licorice and anise. Or I guess it could be the pregnancy thing” she finished looking up with a smile.
Kelsey was the first to leave, she had to get home to her teenagers. Mitch and Amy said goodbye as they wouldn’t be seeing her in the morning. Matt was game to leave as well, he had an early shift in the morning but promised to stop before they left which was planned for 9:00 AM. Ty helped clear away and helped Mitch with stowing the table and chairs while Amy split the food as Ty insisted they take enough for lunch on the way home. He promised he’s see them in the morning so goodnights were easy.
Later in the evening in the afterglow of their lovemaking Mitch had gone to get some cold water for Amy who settled herself into her current comfortable position, on her left side, pillow between her legs and her arm perched on her belly. Mitch lovingly held the glass out and helped her take a drink without moving much or spilling and then settled as usual behind her, his arm sliding under hers as he leaned forward to kiss her shoulder.
“You had a chance to catch up with Ty ?”
“I did, it was nice.”
“He Ok ?”
“You were a bit right I think, the could have beens but we had a good talk, it went well.”
“Seemed to from my perspective. How about you ? Could have beens ?”
“Not on your life Mitchell Cutty, I couldn’t imagine spending my life with anyone but you.”
“Good to hear and back at you Amy Fleming.”
Amy leaned back as far as she could to catch his lips with hers for a moment before returning to her spot.
In the morning Amy woke to the closing of a car door and a truck start. Peeking out the window she saw Ty’s truck drive off and wondered if he was just getting out without a proper goodbye. When she finally showered and dressed and headed outside with a cup of tea and her breakfast of muffins and clementines she found a note tucked into the trailer door. It said that he was called away for a calving that wasn’t going well but expected to be back by nine when they were scheduled to leave.
Matt arrived after Mitch got his coffee going and decided to wait with them while it perked and join Mitch for a cup. He wasn’t surprised to find Ty gone for an emergency, that was his job as long as Kelsey had kids to get off to school and he was fine with it.
Before he left Matt got a call from Ty and explained that he was almost done but rather than make Mitch and Amy wait he’d meet them for their goodbye as a scenic pull off about 5 miles down the road south, the direction they were heading anyway.
Matt helped them pack up and load the horses, made sure they knew where to go and watched and waved as Amy pulled out first followed by Mitch and the trailer.
They parked and leaned against the overlook fence when Mitch received a text that Ty was on the way. He joined them 10 minutes later full of apologies that they discounted as completed unwarranted and totally understood.
Mitch went first and shook Ty’s hand before a brief bro hug and then walked off to close the trailer that they had opened for the horses benefit.
Amy walked over to Ty and gently ran a finger gently across his brow to move his hair away from his eyes.
“I’d forgotten just how green they were.” She said dropping her hand and smiling.
“Back home ?”
“I have to tell them Ty but we’ll leave contact up to you.”
“Thanks.”
Amy heard the door trailer handle locked into place and took a step forward to reach around Ty for a hug before stepping back.
“Find yourself a woman who loses herself in those eyes Ty and then hold on.”
“I’ll try ?”
“She can be a little older you know.”
“She’s my boss Amy.”
“And soon to be your partner, think about it, you’re a good catch with a big heart Ty Borden, it’s time to stop running. Oh, and I was technically your boss for a while there.” Then she leaned forward and kissed each of his cheeks gently. “Don’t be a stranger, you’d make Grandpa’s day with a call.”
“I will.”
“Goodbye Ty, it’s nice knowing you’re doing well.”
He walked her to her truck as Mitch got into the cab of his and Ty helped Amy in and watched her settle and buckle up before closing her door.
“Bye Amy, It was great seeing you and meeting Mitch.”
Amy smiled and nodded as Ty stepped back and she shifted into drive and drove out followed by Mitch who smiled and waved.
A few miles down the road Amy smiled when the next song was announced and she switched on the truck to truck radio to have Mitch join in when she started singing.
Together, they were the perfect couple.
“Almost heaven, West Virginia
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, growing like a breeze
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads
All my memories gather 'round her
Miner's lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye ……..”
The End.

You Can Tell Me Anything
Jughead Jones x reader
Author Note: This is taken place during season one when everything was simpler.
(I don't remember these episodes perfectly so I'm sorry if I miss some things)
Summary: Jughead is trying hard to make sure you don't know that he's homeless, but sooner or later you find out.
Word Count: 1888
Tumblr media
Jughead was beyond mad. They were going to close down the drive in, his job. His home. Of course nobody else could know that, especially not you.
Jughead's had a crush on you for a while. You were just always so happy and ready to help. You helped Jughead with the blue and gold, as well as solving mysteries that you guys got yourselves into. You were the only one who understood his references.
The last thing he wanted to feel like was The Help. He didn't want you to see him as a loser or helpless. Not that you would, but Jughead couldn't help but feel embarrassed.
Jughead angrily climbed over you in the booth. All of you stared at him. "They're going to shut down the drive-in."
"What?" You said, the only one who seemed to care. Betty had switched sides the squish in with Veronica and Kevin. The three of them knew of your crush on Jughead Jones, and were reading to help anyway they could.
"Closing down the Twighlight Drive-In is just one more nail in the coffin that is Riverdale, no, the American dream. As the great Quentin Tarantino used to say-"
"Please, no more Quentin Tarantino references." Kevin said.
"What? I'm pissed. And not just because I'm losing my job, but because the drive in should mean something to Riverdale. People should be trying to save it!"
You slide over your plate to Jughead, and he starts eating your fries. "Well, in the new age of Netflix, who would go to drive-ins anymore?"
"People who want to buy crack." Kevin bluntly says.
"Kev." You say, nodding to Jughead.
"And cinematics and car enthusiasts!" Jughead argues. "Am I right y/n/n?"
"Yup." Nodding your head.
"Also, you guys should come to closing night." He says sadly. "I was thinking American Graffiti, or is that too obvious?"
"Oh, I would love anything starring Audrey Hepburn." Veronica said, with Kevin nodding in agreement.
"Y/n, what do you think?" Kevin asks.
"Mm, maybe Rebel Without a Cause?" Jughead smiles at you.
"I'll be right back." Betty says, getting up when seeing Archie, his dad, and the music teacher.
"Betty wait!" You said, knowing that it was about the weird relationship of the two. You and Jughead shared a look. He knew too.
Betty said something, and her and Archie went outside. Jughead slouched as he stared out the window to watch, and you leaned on him, putting your hand on his chest to watch as well. Veronica then went out to see what was going on.
"What was it like before she came here?" Kevin asked. "I honestly can't remember."
"Huh." You say. Kevin nodded his head.
You and Jughead were passing out flyers for the closing night at the drive-in. "Why didn't you guys give me a heads up?" Archie asked.
"I am, by nature, an objector." Not saying anything to neither you nor Betty was the most moral decision I could make."
"And you?"
"I try not to associate myself with stuff like this." You explain. "Don't get me wrong, I'm nosey and I like to know things about other people, but I physically stay out of drama."
Jughead smiled at that. "And that's what keeps the blue and gold running." You smiled back.
"Could you guys just please let me know if Betty does anything crazy?"
After school you both went to the mayor's office. "I'm sorry, but the Twighlight Drive-In has become a hangout for gang members and transients. The deal is done. Andrews Construction is scheduled to destroy it on Monday."
Jughead was beginning to panic. It was happening too fast, and he didn't know where he was going to go if the drive-in really would be gone. "Mayor McCoy, when I was a kid my family and I would always go. We couldn't afford tickets for everyone, so Jellybean and I would hide in the trunk, then come out when the car was parked. It's like my home."
Jughead felt hot under your gaze. He shifted in his seat, wanting nothing more than for you to have not have heard that. "That's a sweet sentiment, Mr. Jones, but the future of Riverdale is at stake here."
"And isn't Riverdale the town of warm, fuzzy memories?" You spoke up. "I mean, might as well get rid of Pop's for the 50's theme. Riverdale thrives on the fact that it's a place where people build times to remember with their families."
"Look, I'd love to help you both, but the deal is done. You should find out who they are to get some answers."
"Thank you for your time." You said.
Next was Andrews Construction site. "Mayor McCoy says that you have a contract to tear down the drive-in." Jughead said quietly. There was something about Archie's father that made anyone, especially Jughead, calm down. Fred Andrews was a respected man.
"I do. Look, I'm sorry guys. I love the drive-in too."
"Mr. Andrews," you said. "Just give us one week to track the man who bought the land."
"And convince them not to demolish this holy house of cinema." Jughead said angrily.
"Jug, y/n/n, this is a big contract for me and my guys."
Jughead was staring intensely at Fred, before softening his features. He didn't move. "Y/n could you wait outside?" He asked quietly.
You looked at Jughead, confused, then at Fred. He nodded his head for you to go. "Okay." You responded.
"You put one Jones out of work, and now another, huh?"
He sighed. "Jug, your dad was stealing equipment. I had to let him go."
Jughead scoffs. "Right. You're just doing what you had to, just like now. Later." He averted eye contact. Although he was mad, he knew it wasn't Fred's fault.
He found you sitting on the steps waiting for him. "You okay?"
He kept on walking. "He's not gonna do it."
You caught up to him and grabbed his hand, bringing him to a halt. "That's not what I asked." You quietly said. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. It's whatever. I gotta go get everything ready for closing night. See you tomorrow." And with that he walked off.
You then went from gift store to gift store, trying to find Jughead something that he'd like. You wanted to make him feel better. You knew that his sadness wouldn't completely go away from the Twilight Drive-In, but it could probably lessen. And that was your goal.
You went to the back of the drive-in, where Rebel Without a Cause was playing from. You knocked on the door. Jughead poked his head out of the door. "Y/n, what're you doing here?"
You smiled. "I came to see if we could watch the movie back here together."
"I would, but there's a lot of tapes and equipment to organize. Sorry." Jughead hated the words coming out of his mouth. Of course he wanted to watch the movie with you. Of course he wanted to be with you alone, especially right now. He wanted you to make him feel better. But he couldn't have you see the bed.
Your smile faded. "Oh. Okay. Well, could you come out here for a second then? I want to give you something."
He went outside and closed the door. He gave you a teasing smile. "Is it the deed to this place?"
You laughed. "I wish. It's, uh," you raised your hand, showing a Bates Motel key chain with the circular chain around your index finger. "Tada."
He stared at it. He didn't know how to react. You knew him so well. "What? You don't like it? I'm sorry, I was just trying to make you feel better and-"
"What? No! Uh, no, it's not that." He put on a tiny smile. "It's just, thank you. It means a lot."
You went up to him and hugged him, loving the warmth resonating off of him. He was shocked for a second, before coming back to his senses and wrapping his arms around your waist.
"Course Jug. You're my best friend." You pulled away and out your hands on each cheek. "Alright. C'mon, where's that smile I love so much?" He looked away and did his dorky smile that made your cheeks heat up. "There it is." You then slipped out of his hold. "If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask." And with that you left.
Jughead watched you leave, then looking down at the key chain in his hand. As he went back inside and packed his things, he hooked the key chain onto his backpack zipper, sighing as he looked at it.
The next three days Jughead was sleeping in the janitor closet at Riverdale High. It was perfect. He had his sleeping bag, and they had showers and bathrooms. You just couldn't find out.
That was until the fourth day. Archie had caught him. "Jug, what are you doing here so early?"
He put on a fake smile. "Just using this school's amazing state-of-the-art facility."
"No, seriously, what are you doing here?" So he showed his where he was sleeping. He explained that this was his living ever since the drive-in was closed. "I'll be back. I'm going to talk to my dad about you staying with us."
After some arguing, Jughead reluctantly agreed. "But Archie, you can't tell anyone about this. Especially not y/n." Knowing of his friend's crush, he nodded his head. He then headed out of the school, getting his phone out of his pocket to send you some texts.
The was a knock on the closet door. Jughead let out a laugh. "Archie you don't have to knock, it's not like this is my room or anything."
The door opened, you leaning against the door frame with a bag in hand. Jughead's smile immediately came off. "Can I come in?" You quietly asked.
"He told you?!" He stood.
"Please don't be mad at him!" You quickly said, going in and shutting the door. "I'm glad he did. Why didn't you tell me about this Jug?"
"You think I'm proud of this? I'm living in a closet. I use the school showers. I'm pathetic y/n."
"No you're not, Juggy. You You should've just told someone. You could've gotten help!" You huffed, putting the bag in your hand down. "I really didn't think you had a big ego. You should know that I don't care about where you're living, or if things are going bad. You just need to talk to me."
He scoffed, then looking at the bag. He was still angry, but curiosity got the better of him. "What's in the bag?"
You breathed out a humorless laugh. "Pop's. Eggs and bacon. I also stopped by a liquor store and got chocolate milk."
"For me?"
"For us." You looked back at him, his expression still looking angry. "What? Getting drinks separately was cheaper, and I like YooHoo okay? I figured I could make you feel better and save some money at the same time but I guess I was wrong and-"
He cut you off with a kiss. It surprised you at first, but you soon returned it. You cupped his face with his hands finding your waist. When he pulled away for air he kept your faces close. He looked downwards, and you smiled wide. It happened. It finally happened. You had just kissed Jughead.
"Aw, c'mon Jug." You stroked your thumb at his cheek. "Where's that smile that I love so much?" He looked to the side and gave you a big goofy smile. "There it is."
The door then opened and Archie saw the both of us in each other's embrace. "Oh. Sorry should I have knocked?"
Author Note: In case you were wondering this is what I pictured Jughead's goofy smile would be like.

Hotel Del Luna (2019) Thoughts
Tumblr media
Warning: will contain spoilers. I suggest you watch the drama first to relate with what I’m talking about because it will be messy.
Disclaimer: Everything written only reflects my own thoughts. There’s a possibility of incoherence. Forgive me, sometimes my brain is all over the place.
Ever since IU was announced as a main lead for this drama, I have been looking forward to it. I have enjoyed IU’s other dramas especially her most recent one in Netflix - Persona. Yeo Jin goo is an actor I like but the last drama of his that I was able to finish (and barely at that) was Orange Marmalade (2015). I couldn’t get into his next dramas after that and ended up dropping them.
After seeing the plot and the fantasy tag (I always have a soft spot for fantasy dramas), as much as I enjoyed and looked forward to new episodes of its predecessor, Arthdal Chronicles, I also could not wait for it to start.
Additional warning: Everything is all over the place and this is going to be a lengthy post. I wrote everything that I wanted to talk about right after watching the subbed version of the last episode but there is no proper structure. I apologise in advance if you decide to read everything.
I don’t even know where I should start. The Hong Sisters really did well with this drama - the years spent on it was worth it. That ending was, I can’t believe I’m saying this but I was so satisfied even though they didn’t spend much time together in this life. I was expecting a bittersweet ending when the drama started anyway. I loved the ending and that reincarnation scene (although it is not definite but just an ‘eventually, it will end up that way’ scene) was everything to me. I don’t know why but I loved how they didn’t try to extend Man Wol’s time with Chan Seong (example, releasing her from the hotel and making her human again). It was enough for me because Man Wol also spent enough time suffering. Her time with Chan Seong, although brief, was good enough because she experienced the love she needed and she gets sent off full of it.
That twist at the end though, how Chan Seong was chosen by Mago - I’m crying. Chan Seong was definitely a reincarnation of someone from her past. They were actually acquainted during Man Wol’s childhood - and he was the one who introduced her to the guesthouse of the moon.
So now, let’s go to the other parts I really wanna talk about.
One of the reasons why I got hooked and invested with Hotel Del Luna was the fact the way they executed the comical elements despite the horror and drama tags. Additionally, the music and the CGI were really well done. The soundtrack really gets me.
The other reasons, well, IU can really pull off Jang Man Wol - a protagonist who can be ruthless, has a slightly bitchy attitude, crooked (but her actions can be justified) and holds a deep resentment. Yet, she has her cute sides too; all the Kim Joon Hyun moments were a sight to see (her obsession for the restaurants he’s been to, enjoyed it! Later we find out her obsession to find good restaurants were actually influenced by Chan Seong who went to the past! Mind blown!). And her fighting scenes were so cool. IU’s eyes are really expressive in my eyes -
Tumblr media
Appreciate.
I love how despite being crude in her ways when it comes to dealing with the grudges of the souls she’s helping, there is an underlying meaning to it - example, Hyun Joong being able to graduate because of the money donated by his friend. And, I can’t blame her for loving money and wealth. After all, that was what she didn’t have when she was living. I have to add that one of the things I look forward to every episode was IU’s outfit changes. She looks so good in everything! [I actually couldn’t stop myself from buying some of the stuff she wore. Hold your horses, I can only afford the cheap ones like the earrings and hair clips from Get Me Bling that she wore. And I wanna do a face palm because I accidentally bought 2 sets for one of her earrings so now I’m like, what do I do with this?]
Tumblr media
The bickering between the leads together with that comical/mischievous soundtrack, pure gold. It’s easily one of my favourite moments. It’s just really funny how sometimes Jang Man Wol is left without words because Chan Seong is right.
Tumblr media
The more I watch this gif tho, it starts to look weirder to look at so don't watch it more than 10 times.
I also like how they dealt with Man Wol’s back story - not giving the viewers everything in just one episode. Instead, it was spliced and distributed nicely throughout. Oh but gods, I was a wreck when everything was laid down - Chung Myung’s sacrifice... I just can’t. And how he was with her as a firefly since the beginning... My heart... I actually forgot that scene from the beginning until they showed it again. I though it was just an artistic shot. I actually wanted Man Wol to go with him to the afterlife when it was finally time for him to go. When she escorted him, I wanted her to walk with him during that moment. But at the same time, I can see that there was only a one-sided love left between them because Man Wol spent so many years resenting him that there was no love left. When she finally learned the truth, the only thing left in her was forgiveness and that was the only thing she can offer. The CGI on the bridge to the afterlife though, the aesthetic, props to the CGI team.
Can I just talk about how the actor grew on me? Like, omg, I’m now looking forward to any drama he’s going to be on. [Note: I have since seen him in a new drama, The Great Show (I was watching it because of Lee Sunbin (one of my favourite actresses)) and he’s the teen version of the male lead! I screamed when I saw him.] I should check him out on his previous dramas but when I saw the list of dramas, I don’t think I’ll get into them yet.
Tumblr media
Help my heart, their story is so sad.
Helping Kim Seonbi /Kim Si Ik solve his grudge was really fun to watch. And the ‘fact’ that he was the writer of those stories almost all Koreans know, what a twist. Man Wol really cared for him despite not showing it to him - how she tried to find a way to solve his grudge and how she cried after he finally left.
Choi Seo hee’s story was an unfortunate one but it added more flavour to the already flavourful drama. Those who value family ties or still have crooked views when it comes to family lineage will resonate with her story and perhaps have a change of heart.
Hyun Joong; I love how they gave more depth to his story. That it was not only because of his sister that he was staying as a hotel staff but deep inside there was a resentment. When they wrapped his story up, all I can do was to smile wistfully. His story arc with Yuna was a great addition despite their bittersweet goodbye.
The Sanchez story arc; I... I... He was such a fun character and a good friend to Chan Seong. I sincerely thought they were going to get rid of his character when he went overseas to oversee the funeral of his girlfriend. But we got him back and see another side to him - a rather relatable side where if one loses a loved one, they would find ways to reconnect or hold on to any sliver of hope that they’ll be able to once more be able to talk to them or give them something. Probably, not making sense anymore, but if you’ve lost a loved one before, you’ll get what I'm talking about. After finally getting over it, well, he was not the same Sanchez after that but there was growth in his character.
Tumblr media
Mira and Young soo. A twist of fate, these two. Enemies in the past life but became lovers in their current life. Their bitter fates became sweeter this time around. I can't entirely hate on Mira’s past life because her next lives were spent repenting (although it wasn’t shown). Her currently life was finally rewarded, if you can call being with Young soo in her current life a reward. I kept on thinking Mira was just like Chan Seong (not a rich person) but I was so surprised to learn her parents were kimchi factory owners and that Young Soo ate those kimchi since young.
Mago - easily my favourite character. Wait, characters. Because of how many personalities/sisters she has. Really have to give mad props to the actress. She is just so good. Probably my favourite sister has to be the pink sister and then the eldest. It was so funny when they were having a meeting discussing about the new hotel owner and mentioned the ‘poor’ sister still stuck in Joseon dynasty.
Ah, the cameos in this drama. I can’t not cover that. The amount of cameo is just, whoa! This drama is so rich with it. Some really memorable ones to me are: Kim Won hae (as a corrupt mayor), Lee Joon Gi (as an exorcist; Park Il Do hahah, The Guest feels (I ought to make a post on my thoughts about this drama soon); can’t forget the Scarlet Heart feels too), Lee Si Eon (as an astronaut; I couldn't help laugh at the scene), Lee Yi-kyung (as an actor who can’t really act; Waikiki feels!), Kim Joon Hyun (as himself; I screamed because the first few scenes didn't show his face), Park Jin Joo (as an imaginary spirit), Sulli (as the granddaughter of Chairman Wang), Nam Da reum(as a water deity; I really don’t like the fact he’s younger than me; kidding. He’s a talented kid.) Hwang Young Hee (as IU’s previous manager; she’s a really good actress) and Kim Soo Hyun (as the new owner of the hotel; He renamed it Hotel Blue Moon. I’m telling you, I hyperventilated when his scene came. Such a good way to end the drama - at least for me. Hotel Blue Moon as a drama please!)
Tumblr media
For the last episode, I wanted to watch it during the actual broadcast time but I actually calculated the time wrongly (thinking I'm 4 hours ahead but actually just 3 hours; good thing I checked the site). I missed the first 25 mins of the actual broadcast. But I eventually re-watched it with subs and came to write this post). I can only understand roughly 80-85% of the dialogue for the raw version but even then, I was bawling - all the goodbyes; it was so sad but so satisfying at the same time because they were sent off really well. From Kim Seonbi’s to Choi Seohee’s. Painful to see the goodbyes but also very heartwarming; how they finally come to resolve their resentments, came to realizations and tied up loose ends - it was so beautiful. The relationship between the Hotel crew was just so precious - Jang Man Wol crying as she realises how she’ll miss them. Feels. Feels. Feels.
Overall, I learned so many things in this drama and came to certain realisations such as treasuring the time you have with others, don’t take it for granted. One day, when the time to say goodbye comes, you won’t regret anything. Also, even the people who did bad things in their life can have the chance to live a better one in the next once they have paid for those wrongdoings.
This drama was a perfect blend of comedy, drama, horror, fantasy, romance. In terms of food, it satisfied my cravings. Watching this drama was one of the best things that I did this year. As much as I want to talk more about this drama and cover more areas, I should stop here. All in all, I would say, I really loved this drama. I’ll definitely go back to watching this when I have nothing else to watch. P.S. I ought to make a Jang Man Wol inspired look but when I tried, I failed.
Tumblr media
I’ll miss you, Jang Man Wol-ssi.
Rating: 10 / 10
Re-watch value : 10 / 10
Soundtrack : 10 / 10

Protection: Chpater 4
WestAllen bodyguard AU
The fallout of Iris’ exposé on a gang with political ties makes her a target. She thought the death threats would stop, but they only turned into real attacks. After an attempt on her life, she needs someone to protect her. The Flash is the only one up for the job.
In this AU, Barry and Iris don’t know each other. But, Iris still wrote about The Flash and he still saved her on a number of occasions.
(chapter 1) (chapter 2) (chapter 3)
Achieve of Our Own
A/N: This chapter is from Barry’s POV
It’s a long one, but read till the end for a very important moment!
A blur of sloppily written threats dazed Barry. He struggled to read the note Iris held before him due to the erratic shaking of her hands.
“They’re going to drug me and frame it as an overdose!” She cried. “That’s what they mean by saying addiction runs in the family. I know they could get away with it too.”
Barry took the note from her and analyzed it. Iris continued her nervous stream of conscious.
“They’ve probably done it a million times before. Those students who overdosed were probably targets too. It’s not like The 75 don’t have access to Vertigo, or Green Light, or whatever other drug they need to cause painful but inconspicuous murders. I bet they- What are you doing?”
In 0.04 of a second, Barry had run to his forensic lab at CCPD and returned.
“Sorry to run out on you like that.” He told Iris, opening his kit. “I have to dust for prints.”
“What do fingerprints matter?” Iris asked, indignantly. “We know who sent the note!”
“Iris, evidence is still important. With fingerprints we can identify the who in The 75 wrote and delivered it.” Barry tried to explain.
“Do you even know what you’re doing?”
“Yes. I’ve had training in forensic science.” He informed her.
“Have you? They teach that at the superhero academy?”
Forcing himself to concentrate on dusting the note, Barry didn’t acknowledge that statement.
“You can run like 1,000 miles an hour. Why can’t you run around the entire city, gather up every known 75 member, and bring drop them off in interrogation rooms? Let the real police handle” Iris did air quote in mocker, “the evidence”
Barry knew she was only saying these things out of fear, so he held back his frustration.
“The 75 has members across the country, a lot of them, the most dangerous of them, the kind that would send this note, aren’t known members. You of all people should know that, Iris. You’re the one who exposed them.”
For a minute, Iris was quiet. Barry worried he’d been too short with her. He was used to helping people when they were scared. But, he was not used to having to console people who were scared because the thing they’re scared of is something he’s not sure how to stop. Central City always had faith in him, and he knew that.
Iris always had faith in him, and that was what helped Barry most.
When Iris spoke again, her tone had changed. No longer sour, her words came out like ‘Eureka!’
“I didn’t expose them all…”
Puzzled, Barry looked at her, and she elaborated.
“Think about it, I exposed our Mayor, our Congressman, the assistant DA, but there’s got to be more of them out there. You said it yourself, the most dangerous members are the ones nobody would suspect could be involved, until now. Until my story showed people that there are 75 members hiding in plain sight.”
A smile dared to cross her face as she finished, “I used to think they were threatening me because they were angry. Now, I think it’s because they’re scared!”
It made perfect sense. Iris was shaking things up. Maybe, someone very high up, wants to get rid of her because they know if she keeps shaking, they’ll fall.
“Iris, that’s brilliant!”
Barry threw his arms around her in a celebratory hug. He revealed in her deduction and her embrace. It struck him that this was the first time they hugged out of happiness, not fear or necessity.
“I’m sorry I said all that other stuff.”
Iris’s apology was too much for Barry. He tilted her chin up with his finger.
“Don’t worry about that. You were just venting, I understand.” He assured her.
“Thanks for letting me deal with this and the crazy emotional toll it takes without getting annoyed with me.”
Barry leaned in to hug her again, partially because a hug seemed nice in the moment, but also because he didn’t want Iris to see the tears welling up in his eyes.
“Oh my god, wait,” Iris gasped. “They know about my mom’s death!”
Back on his guard, Barry sprung up.
“What?”
“My mom’s death! They know! How? I’ve never told anyone about it, except you. How could they know? Are they listening to us?”
This was a very important detail Barry had overlooked in his shock upon seeing the note.
“They must’ve heard me yesterday.” They’re following us and listening to us!” Iris clapped her hands over her mouth. “What if they’re listening right now?”
Her whole body was shaking. Barry grabbed her by the arms and steadied her.
“Hey, it’s going to be ok. I’m here.” His hands slid down her arms to hold her hands. “I’m not going to let anything happen to you.”
He felt Iris still, watched her chest rise and fall as she took a calming breath.
“That’s the most personal thing anyone could know about me. And now, they know.” She croaked.
Barry pulled her against him. She fell into the embrace.
“I’ve got you.” He whispered.
The truth was, Barry didn’t know what to do next. He had to reassure Iris he would protect her, but inside he was doubting his ability to do so. He should’ve been watching more closely, noticed someone eavesdropping on their conversation.
Sometimes, being with Iris distracted him. She was so captivating. Being around her made Barry feel like more of a hero than any Flash day celebration, coffee namesake, or action figure of himself. Yet, at the same time, Iris made him feel more like himself than anyone else. Like, he could be his truest self with her. That made it all too easy for Barry to forget why he’s there, that he and Iris aren’t really friends, and he has a job to do.
While his brain scrambled to think of their options, he stroked Iris’ hair. He wasn’t sure if he was doing it to calm her or himself.
Since the note had been left at her front door, Iris’ apartment clearly wasn’t safe anymore.
“Pack up a bag, quick.” He told her. “I need to take you somewhere safe.
Iris jumped a little at Barry breaking their silence.
“Where am I going to go?” She asked. “My dad’s?”
“No. That’s too obvious, The 75 would expect that. I have to bring you to a secret location, somewhere you’ve never been, so nobody would guess you’d be there.”
“You’ll go there with me?”
“Of course!” Barry affirmed.
Iris gave him a pained smile.
“I’ll go pack.”
Iris and her bag in his arms, Barry skid into the cortex of S.T.A.R Labs. Cisco and Caitlin greeted them with smiles.
“We’re here.” Barry informed Iris, letting go of her.
He watched her face change as she took in the surroundings. She looked confused, intrigued, and anxious.
“Welcome to Star Labs!” Cisco hailed, approaching Iris with a an outstretched hand.
Iris shook it, then turned to Barry.
“Is this place like, your headquarters?”
Cisco answered for him, “Oh yeah. This is where the magic happens!” He held out his arms. “Every idea, every plan, that’s stopped every bad guy in the city, was conceived right here.”
“And, who are you?”
This time it was Barry’s turn to answer for Cisco.
“He’s my engineer friend I told you about, Cisco Ramon.”
Cisco pointed at Barry, but kept looking at Iris. “That suit, I made it.”
Iris looked Barry up and down. In that moment, he wished his cowl covered his cheeks to hide his blush.
“It’s a really nice suit.” Iris said, a mix of awkwardness and genuine appreciation in her voice.
Eager to change the subject, Barry introduced Caitlin.
“That is the doctor I told you about, her name is Caitlin Snow.”
Caitlin gave a small wave.
“Nice to finally meet you, Iris.”
Iris emphasized, “Finally?”
With Iris’s back to him, Barry gestured cutting his throat to Caitlin, telling her to shut up.
“Uh-” Caitlin cringed. “We’ve heard a lot about you.”
Iris looked suspiciously at Barry.
“They’re uh- fans of your blog.” He spluttered.
Iris shook Caitlin’s hand.
“It’s nice to meet you too.”
“Iris, why don’t I show you where you can put your stuff?” Barry suggested.
“Ok.” She agreed. Her face fell.
Barry kicked himself for reminding her of why he’d brought her here. He so wanted to introduce her to his friends, tour her around the lab, give evasive answers to all the questions she was sure to ask for an article. But, Iris wasn’t here under happy circumstances.
“You’ll be safe here.” Caitlin interjected. “All of us are going to stay here too, we’ll watch out for you.”
“I can’t thank you enough. I feel safer already. This place must be so secure. I’m sure there’s no way anybody could get in.” Iris assumed.
Barry scratched his neck.
“Uh, yeah, so your room is this way.”
Barry left Iris so she could settle into the guest bedroom. He found Cisco and Caitlin in the cortex, both hunched over tablets. To get their attention, Barry tapped the frame of the doorway.
“How’s Iris?” Caitlin asked.
Barry sighed. “As good as you can expect when being threatened by a gang.”
Caitlin frowned. Barry was so tired of the constant unease felt by everyone because of the looming dark cloud the thought The 75 inspired.
“We sent the prints off the note over to CCPD for you.” Caitlin informed him. “Now, we’re looking into the financial histories of some of the city’s most influence people. Any suspicious donations, offshore activity-”
Barry interrupted her. “The 75 are smart. They’ll know better than to do that.”
“Worth a shot.” Cisco deadpanned without looking up.
“You’re right. I’m sorry.”
Barry collapsed into a chair. It was only noon but this day already felt like it had lasted weeks. He spread his legs and rotated his neck, trying to work out all the muscle tightness his anxiety had caused.
He noticed Caitlin watching him inquizitive.
“What? Are my stretches not optimal for orthopedic well-being?
“They’re not, but that’s not what I was thinking.” Timidly, she said, “I know you’re really worried about Iris. More worried than you would be if it were someone else?”
His first instinct was to deny it, but the looks on Cisco and Caitlin’s faces told him it was pointless. They knew.
“Yes.” He admitted. “Of course, it’s Iris.”
They exchanged a look of victory.
“Are you guys going to tell me how it’s a bad idea for me to be so invested?”
“No.” Cisco answered. “Actually, Caitlin and I were talking and we think you should tell Iris your name.”
Barry blinked. He couldn’t possibly have heard that right.
“What?”
“Man, you’re clearly in love with her.”
Caitlin nodded in agreement.
“You’ve been having those rooftop rendezvous ever since you discovered her blog.”
“Everyone already knows her as the biggest Flash fangirl in the city. Every bad guy knows targeting her is an easy way to draw you out. So, she’s already in danger. Knowing your identity wouldn’t put her in any more danger.” Cisco explained.
“It also might help her feel more comfortable right now, seeing your face and knowing your name, assuring her it’s really you protecting her, not just a guy in a mask.” Caitlin added.
Barry put his face in his hands. He’d always wanted to tell Iris who he is, but now didn’t seem like a good time.
“But, that would make us closer! If she knows who I am, if we start interacting as Barry and Iris, not Flash and Iris, our relationship is going to get stronger!”
“Don’t you want that?” Caitlin asked, taken aback.
Barry paused. Yes. No. He didn’t know.
“I want Iris to be safe. I’ve put her in enough danger already. I never should’ve found her after reading her blog, never should’ve let let us get to this point.”
Cisco swirled his wrist.
“The point of feelings?”
“Yes.” Barry breathed. “The point of feelings. I’ve been selfish. I like her. I wanted to be around her. The idea of this girl who’s inspired by me, and she’s such an amazing person herself, it went to my head.”
“To your heart.” Cisco corrected.
Barry rolled his eyes.
“The closer Iris is to me, the more danger she’s in. I have to put her first. It doesn’t matter what I want. We can never be… together. We can never even be friends.”
“Why don’t you tell her your name and let her decide?” Caitlin challenged.
“B-because-” Barry started.
“If you really care about her, and value her autonomy, you’ll give her all the information and let her make her own decision.”
Barry walked slowly down the corridor. Thinking of everything and nothing, all his options weighing on him, his mind was numb. A sweet humming lifted Barry’s spirits. He followed it to Iris’s doorway.
The door was open. Barry looked on as she put the folded clothes from her suitcase into the bedside drawers.
“That’s a nice song.” Barry said, alerting Iris to his presence.
She smiled bashfully.
“I always hum when I’m nervous.”
“I always sweat when I’m nervous.”
Instantly regretting that divulgence, Barry rubbed her neck. Yep, sweaty. He was nervous.
“Thank you again for letting me stay here.” Iris said.
“It’s no problem. Nobody uses this room since Harry went back to-”
Iris looked at him expectantly, but Barry stopped himself. The multiverse was a conversation for another day.
“Anyway,” He cleared his throat. “The room is free.”
Iris sat down on the bed, all her clothes put away. It was obvious this threat was really getting to her. Her eyes were shadows of their usual gleam. She looked like she’d seen a ghost.
“I should’ve known Star Labs is where you spend your time. So much weird stuff happens here. It’s basically one big metahuman experiment.”
Barry exhaled a little more forcefully, an almost laugh.
Somehow, in their shared gaze, she found the thing that haunted his eyes.
“I believe in you.” She told him firmly.
Barry smiled, “I know.”
“It’s hard not to be scared, but, there’s nobody else I’d trust more to protect me.”
Barry’s smile twitched. He looked down at his feet.
“What’s on your mind?” Iris asked. “You look deep in thought.”
This time Barry laughed for real. She could always read him.
“I always wonder why I wear a mask with you.”
He sat down beside Iris on the bed. His mind was made up, he was going to do it.
Gesturing to his mask, he said, “I kept telling myself that I had to protect you, and the way to do that was keeping you in the dark about who I really am. I wanted to push you away, for your own sake. But, I feel like there’s forcing in the universe pushing us together no matter what we do.”
“What do you mean.”
“We’re already big parts of each other’s lives now, don’t you think?”
“Well, yeah.” Iris agreed.
“Everyone in Central City knows about our connection. So, it’s pointless to keep pretending hiding my identity would stop a bad guy from coming after you. Wearing this mask, I’m only protecting myself from being vulnerable with you, because it scares me how much I want to be.”
Barry watched Iris’s face carefully as he lifted off his cowl and pulled down his chin strap.
“My name is Barry Allen and I am The Flash.”

Rohan’s backstory
Beware that the read more option may not work, both in the app and in the computer
History in the TAS world: when Robyn and Hannah were on their their honeymoon at the canaries, they’re left stranded during a sea trip on a seemeingly unreachable island, not before being brutally shot by who turns out to be the last drowned agent, who received the order from Fuli to terminate Scarlet and Bullet, or every member of team ceartais in case of failure of the “snow day” attack. Robyn survived thanks to her healing factor, but Hannah died from blood loss. Robyn was distraught, but when she went to hug her, the steel blood nanites interacedt with each other and instinctively merged to repair Hannah’s damage. This triggered a literal merge in robyn and hannah’s bodies, who then waked up into one being. At first being shocked, the two wives managed to separate each other and kept living on that island for seven days.
During those days, Robyn and hannah couldn’t resist being separated, so, once per day, they decided to fuse together for a few hours and then separate back in fear of being stuck into one. This led to the discovery of unkown abilities from both girls, secrets and stuff being kept hidden due to a mental link and hidden traits none of them were aware of: for example, robyn became more romantic and loving than she usually was, hannah discovered she got her sight back and could control whether she went blind or not and, most importantly, both hybrids became fertile. Unfortunately, said secrets the couple held were discovered during the links and once a day, Robyn and Hannah would end up having arguments and fighting with each other, before apologizing temporarely. On the fifth day though, after so much time considered impossible to bear for normal beings, Robyn and Hannah understood that their fusion (whom they nicknamed Rohan by combining their names) and all the troubles thew went through didn’t divide them, but kept them united more than ever, since none of the two ever gave up on the other; they apologized permanentely that day and promised to never lose love and hope for each other and the world in general, even at their darkest hour.
That same day, a small comet splashed into the water waking up the girls. Since Hannah was too tired from everything she went through to check, Robyn went into the water and picked the melon sized rock. After smashing it to check if there was anything suspicious, she noticed six colored fragments popped out of the rock and got all of them in her hands at the same time. What happened next could be described as raw immense energy flowing rapidly through Robyn’s body. Robyn squealed with horror and she would have been disintegrated if Hannah hadn’t woken up and run in her help and fused once again into rohan to stabilize the immense energy. It didn’t take long for them to figure out those were fragments of the infinity gems, since they wathced the recent marvel movies and got informed later about their story on the internet (despite never reading any comic book related to them) which granted them even more superpowers than before. After the fusion, the girls managed to handle easily the fragments while being separated and fused. What they couldn’t understand was why all the six fragments dropped by them out of all the living beings in the universe.
The seventh day their killer returned with the local police, trying to get rid once and for all of the superheroines; unluckily for him, Robyn and Hannah thought out a plan when they saw him arrive and managed to trick him and reveal his assassination plot and allignment by using the mind fragment. The criminal was taken into custody and the zootopian police was allerted. Robyn and Hannah then went back home and were greeted by all their friends and family, who heard about them being stranded for a week immediately after the capture of the criminal. The next days, Robyn and Rannah decided to meet in secret and train with their newfound powers and form and agreed to reveal everything at the right moment.
The right time came the year later when Nick organized a memorial evening for the anniversary of the “snow day” attack being foiled, but also as the anniversary of his parents’, Robin sr and Marian Wlde, death. After Robyn and Hannah gave a speech about how tragic the wave was, but nobody never lost hope against such a disaster, they fused right in front of everybody. Everybody was shocked, but not as much as hearing what happened at the canaries, about their infinity-based powers and about Robyn and Hannah keeping the secret and training their new abilities in secret for about a year. After Rohan answered everybodys questions about her, she finished her components’ speech by saying that as a gift for everybody who loved them, cared about them and would never stop, she would have made something impossible; then she snapped her right hand and the whole universe was engulfed by white light for a second. After the snap, Rohan fell unconcious to the floor, unable to move and intangible, but at the same time everyone discovered what the snap did when robyn’s dead siblings, Ryan Ronan and Reginald materialized in front of them from a small whirlind of dust, then Robyn’s grandparents came along materializing in the whirlind, followed by Hannah’s eponymus grandma, Little John, and old family friend, the former mob boss Mr Big and his guard Koslov and ,in the end, victoria todd, the biological mother of robyn’s sister luna. The snap had taken back to life everyone who died between the incursions of the underworld trio, from the last days of the wave disaster, all in perfect health, having aged as if nobody died and with full memories of what happened. Unfortunately, rohan was still unconcious and immaterial and the only way they could carry her was through an electrostatic box invented by their old friend Olivia which was able to catch all the molecules. They brought her to the mayor office believing it woud have been a safe place.
After nearly eight hours, Rohan started to show signs of recomposing and gaining her conscience back, she would have been back in ten minutes, but unfortunatelty, there wasn’t time to celebrate, as a giant rift opened in the sky above the city hall bringing out a giant starship. Everyone knew that sign was no good and instinctively hid Rohan, hoping no one would find her until she was back. After a few seconds they hid her in the boiler room and squadron of eight green, strange looking aliens smashed into the roof inside the mayor’s office. They identified them as skrulls: alien mutants who could camouflage themselves as any other living species and mimic superpowers. The drop team was lead by a skull called Kl’RT, although he wanted to be called Super Skrull; he claimed to be in search of the fragments of the infinity gems to rebuild the skrull empire and bring glory to it. Nobody knew what was the green leader talking about and remained silent, but when the super skrull mentioned that six fragments dropped into that dimension and listed some of their abilities, after hearing one of said powers was to bring back to life anyone with a snap, everyone (especially Robyn and Hannah’s friends, Kodi, Kion, Olivia and Alice and Robyn’s sister luna) immediately connected the dots and locked the door, while managing to fend off the skrulls; unfortunately the skrull were no match for them, beating everyone and leaving them unconcious, except for Robyn’s mother, Judy and Hannah’s mother, Skye, who they wanted to use as a bait to lure their daughters out.
Meanwhile, Robyn and Hannah found themselves into a strange world composed by a large speck of marble and some ruins, greeted by six spirits, each one colored as the fragments. Those spirits identified themselves as the infinity gems, leaving the married couple astonished for two reasons: 1) they couldn’t believe something tecnically invented could exist, 2) they discovered to be invented charachters from a fictional universe themselves by talking to the spirits. The most important discovery though was why they had basically all the power in the universe, or the multiverse after their discovery of multiple dimensions: in another universe, a group of the most powerful superheroes called the Illuminati, formed by six powerful superheroes of the marvel universe: Iron Man, a genius playboy philantropist millionare turned hero, namor, king of atlantis and the sea, Mister Fantastic, leader or the fantastic 4, Professor x, protector of all mutantkind, Doctor Strange, the sorcerer supreme and Black Bolt, king of the inhumans. They used the gems, wielded by Captain America, the first avenger, to avoid the collision of their universe with a parallel one, but since time ago it was declared the gems could not act together this led to the destrucion of all the gems, especially the time gem whose fragments were scattered through time. In the end Robyn and Hannah learned that the fragments couldn’t find a better possessor over time, but then the infinity spirits found them: during the time of the wave, they were living in a corrupt world, on the brink of collapse, where everybody lost itself, but not them; Robyn and Hannah stayed true to themselves despite all the madness such a disaster could bring, had the power to go through such a situation for so long, they lost loved ones, their minds were torn, but they never gave up, neither stopped loving each other and, literally, they had superpowers. Those feats were more than enough for the spirits to consider the two hybrids worthy. And that was why Robyn and Hannah had the powers of infinity. They thanked the spirits and those greeted the wives back, claiming they could have changed everything. Then they started gaining their concioussness and physical form back.
When they woke up into Rohan, she felt a giant headache and then she heard the scream of Judy and Skye being held. She ran out of the boiler room, only to find everyone lying numb on the floor, except Judy, Skye and the skrulls. Kl’Rt debreifed them about the situation and ordered them to hand him the gems. He was unfortunate not to know he shouldn’t have messed up with the giant hybrid: rohan seemingly gave in, asking for her mothers to be freed; the request was fulfilled, at the terms that Rohan should have gone with the skrulls. As Rohan started advancing to the leader, she quickly started a fight with him, punching the green baddie in the chest and breaking his ribcage; the other skrulls quickly dropped into the fight only to have their ass handed by rohan, one with subdued by rohan’s fighting skills, the other six soldiers were killed, each one by a different power of the fragments. The Super Skrull was not willing to give up and plummeted onto her enemy, seemingly gained the upper hand, until Rohan reunited the fragments into a single gem on her fist and punched it against the super skrull, this time though Kl’Rt was invested by a surge of energy he couldn’t contain. As Rohan kept pressing, the skrull’s body kept flowing energy within, at the point it couldn’t contain anymore. Rohan finished him by blowing his body and soul up. The explosion also blew up the roof of the city hall, but, fortunately, no one else was harmed. The helicopters with the journalist were quick to arrive on the scene when they saw the explosion and started asking questions to rohan. Thinking about what the spirits said, Rohan deicided to take a risky gamble: tired of hiding secrets and knowing said secrets would have been discovered afterwards by die-hard conspirationists, Robyn and Hannah unfused right in front of everybody, revealing to the whole Zootopia their secret identities, their fusion nature and told everything happened inside the city hall: from the drop squad breaking in to the leader blowing up. They clamied to have done so because they felt zootopia needed to know the truth and didn’t want to cover up everything with some half-assed excuse. The only thing they didn’t give away was their companions secret identities, which were safe… or so they thought.
Over the next week following the skrull assault, zootopia was torn in two: the politicians wanted to declare superheroes and superpowered mammals illegal, while the public fought in rallies, protests and riots standing by their thought that zootopia didn’t need control, nor order, but just to be safe and free, no matter who protected them, also chastising the governement, calling it corrupt, unfair and old. While there were tensions inside the wilde family and their friends, everybody did their best to comfort each other, especially Robyn and Hannah, who received the most hate. Nick was not willing to give up on her daughter despite all the accuses against him, but every attempt to calm down the city was vain. But suddenly, a chance of redemption popped up: unbeknownst to everyone, the skrull that wasn’t defeated by Rohan by the power of the infinity fragments, silently escaped on the ship (which was invisible the whole time) and this time he brought back up: another alien race, called the kree. The two armies broke in the middle of a protest, capturing everybody: men, women, politicians, normal people, kids; then, they called in a massive ship/orbital cannon, capable of destroying an entire planet. The skrull threatened Rohan to come out and surrender, otherwise he would have erased the city from the planet. Rohan was trapped: either she went there and die for the whole city or she would have fought at the risk of losing many innocent lives. Believing she runied the city and everyone’s life, in the end she did come out and was ready to die for who she loved and seeking for redemption. She waved goodbye to her family and friends and she faced a public execution, where there kree leader, Ronan, blasted her to smithereens with his hammer.
The skrull then went to pick up the fragments, gloating over his revenge and claiming to be the only true keeper of the universe; but the infinity spirits had decided: Robyn and Hannah were the only worthy to keep all that power. They immediately rejected their impostor and reformed Rohan form the ashes; this time though Rohan was determined to end to skrull threat once and for all. she called in her allies: the famous team ceartais: andraste, spitfire, roar, the mage and yurei (respectively Luna, Olivia, Kion, Kodi and Alice), the ZPD, the MCB and the task force Camelot; no matter who the enemies were or what others thought about her, she was going to end everything.
After a long 10 hours battle, Rohan, ceartais and their allies finally defeated the skrull/kree army, not without casualties: almost 50 percent of the city was dead. Ronan, the kree leader, though was not willing to lose against a bunch of animals and in an act of rage, he activated the cannon at full power: he wanted to wipe out the whole planet if he couldn’t conquer it. When the cannon fired, every hope seemed lost, but rohan, uncapable of giving up and now unwilling to let everyone die, concentrated and unlocked the full power of the infinity fragments enetring the infinity state: she had all the powers in the universe and could have been able to alter the whole structure of the universe itself; after nullifying the cannon’s beam, she completly erased the cannon itself out of existence; then, after facing ronan one last time and killing him when he cheated and attempted for his loved ones lives, she brought back from the dead everyone who died in the recent skirmish and recreated back the entire city: every building that was knocked out or demolished during the wave or the skrull/kree invasion was fully rebuilt. Then Rohan passed out again, falling unconcious and incorporeal, this time only for two hours.
When she woke up, there was her family celebrating her victory, alongside almost the rest of Zootopia; only a few mammals still distrusted her. But soon a problem came out: the energy emitted by Rohan in the infinity state started to give superpowers to random citizens, no matter if they were rich or poor. To solve this problem, Rohan asked for a super’s therapy centre to be created, so that powered mammals could be able to control their powers to fit better into society, without class or power differences and for who wnated to become a superhero. She also asked for every super that would come to be registered as an ally of the zpd, but able to fight free, without law many restrictions. At last, she said that every super was free to mantain it’s secret identity if he or she wanted. Every request was taken with joy from everyone, aside the opposers; that same day team ceartais followed Rohan’s example and revealed their secret identities to zootopia, without fear. Wether this situation was good or bad it’s still discussed today, but two things were for sure: Robyn and Hannah did indeed change everything and even if the alien threat was defeated, many other villains would come out to take the fragments for themselves or for other villanous purposes and those bad guys weren’t just some vigilante level threat: they were superpowered and even came from other universes. Things had to changes so Rohan’s and ceartais’ arsenal grew up, combining the latest tech with the infinity powers, while staying true to their vigilante nature.
In the end, since the “revival” (how the skrull/kree invasion, their subsequent defeat and the revitalization of Zootopia was dubbed) Rohan, despite being a fusion has gained full full rights and it’s considered a civilian just like everyone, Robyn and Hannah are recognized as superstars, just like their teammates, but even with all the fame, the two hybrids live a fairly humble life with their eight children, while also protecting zootopia and other dimensions from evil forces.

Happy Holidays Sammie @gohstfoxgoddess I hope you enjoy this.  I am not very good at third person so I went with what I know.  Lisa @lageniuswannabe
Rating: Fluff with angst rating is General Audience.
William was at school, Oliver was at city hall and Felicity was looking at their new home with a sense of peace surrounding her heart. She should call Curtis maybe he could help the easy part of hanging up clothes and putting away things was done. She wanted it to be homey when her boys got there. She peeked out as she heard the door open and saw standing in the doorway Raisa. Felicity was always in awe of how organized and loving she was.
“Felicity, are you okay?” Raisa smiled at her.
“ Just trying to figure out how to fit my stuff in here, I don’t want it to feel like I’m overtaking everything and I don’t want William to feel out of place, I just wish I knew the best way to merge integrate our lives. Or so I have no idea!” As her babble stopped Felicity hoped Raisa understood the explination.
“Let me help. I think I know what you mean. Oliver has no warmth in here, and I think you add the warmth. Felicity” Raisa hugged her.
Felicity smiled as they get to work. When Raisa pulled out pictures of their trip, Felicity explained reminiscing about Europe and Bali.  After Felicity explained that some of those pictures Felicity still can’t look at, Raisa told her in a gentle tone, “Talk to Oliver about these things. He needs to know how you feel so you two can work this out.”
Felicity picked up the blanket Oliver bought for her telling Raisa about it.  “He probably doesn’t even remember buying this.  I got cold when he was gone so he bought this to keep me warm,”
“May I?” Raisa asked her pointing to the blanket.  Raisa sweetly draped the blanket over the couch.  “Now it is close by.”
One box remained marked Hanukkah.
Felicity lit up when she sees her Menorah. “I forgot that starts on December 12th and my mom will be here, I’ll ask all Oliver if it’s okay if I explain it to William. “
“I think any child would love a holiday they get 8 days of presents for,” both women laughed. Felicity put the box aside for now and then stored the Christmas decorations.
Raisa made some coffee and Felicity grabs her Doctor Who mug and filled it. While she was working on her laptop at the kitchen counter, Raisa starts to get things put away from laundry and clean up.
“Raisa, I will go get William from school, see you shortly,” she yelled as she headed out the door.
……
As they walk back into the apartment, Will and Felicity were talking almost at high speeds. Will told her, “My English teacher gave us an assignment to write a story about the most exciting things that happened to me at Christmas.”
William told Felicity “I cannot remember good times right now. All it’s going to do is make me sad I can barely look at her picture without crying, knowing she lied to me my whole life. I should just make something up.”
“Will, you can’t do that. I know it’s going to be hard. Here let me read what the assignment says.” William handed her the paper.
‘Write about something exciting that has or could happen to you for  Winter Holidays due December 20th. Mr. Smithers.’
“Will, it says could happen here too. You could write about this year coming up or 5 years from now.” Felicity handed the note back to him.
“Yeah, sure right my dad’s in jail this Christmas and all because he cared more about saving the city than me!” Will stormed off and closed his bedroom door with such force that it rolls back a bit.
She looked around but Raisa was gone. So she picked up her cell phone and texted Oliver.
F- Be prepared. Will not in a good mood. Call me when you are not busy.
O- I will in 5 minutes.
Felicity walked over to the balcony and snow falls softly outside she can smell dinner that is already started waiting for Oliver to call her. Why do English teachers have to be such a pain in the ass? Felicity thought to herself as her phone rang.
“Hello mayor handsome.”
“Hey beautiful,” Oliver sounded so good on the phone. “What is going on?”
Felicity explained to him about the English assignment and how upset William was telling Oliver everything he said.
“I will cancel my last meeting and come home.”  Oliver Explained.
“William? Hon, Dad is on his way home. Can I get you anything to drink? Will, I love you, but please talk to me or your dad or both of us, please.”
She heard him crying. “Be out in a minute,” he called.
“Okay,” Felicity’s heart breaks a little. She hated that he is hurt from all this, he never chose it. Two minutes later, the door slides open. William grabbed a water as he sat on the couch beside her.
“Why do English teachers always make life harder, math is so much easier than English.” He complained.
Felicity pulled him in for a hug and sighing “I know what you mean math is straightforward and logical. Other things involve our emotions I just hope you know we are all here whenever you want to vent, argue, or hug. That is what family does.”
William wiped his eyes and took a few more sips of water.
Felicity wished she knew the best way to get rid of his fears about Oliver being the Green Arrow. She has that same sort of fear, but she is part of the team understanding the reason Oliver is needed. Maybe William would be able to handle it better if he knew more about the team.  William would grasp how the team protect each other, love each other and are part of his family, also.
Oliver walked in and sits down on the coffee table facing them both. William looked up with eyes shining as he stood to hug his dad.
“Dad, I need help to understand. I need to know more about your other world so that I know it’s safer than I imagine it to be. My imagination is probably a lot worse than what it is actually like.” He took a deep breath, “I just think it could help me to understand you more.”
Felicity looked at Oliver as she told him, “you make some good points Will. Can you give dad and me a minute to talk, first?”
“Okay, I’ll go start my math homework,” Will went to his room.
Oliver shifted to sit beside Felicity.
“I think you have a decision ahead of you,” Felicity kissed his cheek.
Oliver turned and kissing her more fully. “Tell me what you think, please.”
“Oliver, I can’t decide for you, you are his father. I just wouldn’t feel right. Felicity lowered head.
Oliver lifted her chin. “Fe-li-ci-ty, we are partners in everything. This will not only affect him, but us the team and our children, our future. I trust your opinion always. Please talk to me.”
“Okay,” she began lacing her fingers through his. “I think we should show him, I mean he hasn’t asked before just always assumed things which has got to be a lot scarier than what the actual is. He hasn’t spent any time with the team where he could really get to know just how dedicated and how much of a family we all are. Thea told me he asked her a bunch of questions already and she wasn’t sure how much to share. So she kept telling him to talk to you. He has been talking to the therapist at A.R.G.U.S., but she can only do so much. I just think it’s time, you know.”
“I know I was just hoping it wouldn’t have to be this soon Felicity. I was out and it just keeps pulling me back in, hell, you’re halfway out I don’t know.” He started playing with her wedding band, “I dragged…”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa there you did not drag me into this I made a very informed decision Oliver, you know that!” using her loud voice.
“I know, I know. Okay, what if we bring him down there and then he gets all inspired or decides he doesn’t want any part of it. I just got him in my life He finally calls me Dad, I can’t lose that.” Shaking his head, “what if he decides he’d rather go live with his grandparents in Central City, I don’t want that at all and this shouldn’t have to be his life. Maybe I shouldn’t have promised his Mom.”
“Look at me,” she reached for his face. “You are not going to lose him, I think you will be just fine and think about what he could actually be imagining. It has got to be worse than the actual. With the team and everything we can take steps back and have been. The world there is so much brighter than when you started your solo mission 6 years ago. Oliver, we have to do something to help him feel better. He saw the news last week Thea tried to turn the TV off, but she said he saw some of it and that is when he started asking questions,” she started stroking his beard.
“Okay, if we do this, he needs to promise to ask questions and be ready for answers and not want to run away from the answers. I also want him to know that there are always other ways to be a hero.” Oliver kissed her palm.
“Agreed” Felicity nodded.
“Oh, also I want him to go with you to see what you and Curtis are doing with Helix Dynamics maybe even spend a day with Dinah or Quentin at police headquarters,” he looked at her and she nodded her head in agreement.
‘Will come out here bud.” Oliver called and William sat on the ottoman and looked at his father.
“If we do this, there are going to be conditions.” Oliver started, “you need to understand you will not be leaving the bunker staying in Felicity’s eyesight the whole time, you will also agree to go to Felicity’s business and see what they are doing to change the world and go for a day with Quentin to see what life is like with a badge.”
“Thank you, thank you, I agree.” Will hugged his Dad and Felicity.
“Also, we don’t want you to get your hopes up or see things that are just not there so you really need to listen to Felicity in the bunker, and if you have questions ask, but know she won’t always be able to answer right away. She is a very important part of the team and is sometimes the only eyes we have,” Oliver kissed the back of her hand “Will, please understand? I know we chose this life and to live this way. I want so much for you.”
“I know that I promise I will listen to Felicity and not to be annoying and I will talk to both of you about everything,” Will crossed his heart and gave another hug.
……
In bed Felicity stares up at the ceiling thinking so very loudly she doesn’t even hear Oliver at first until he kissed her on the forehead and said, “you’re thinking so loud I can almost hear it Felicity.” She wrinkles her forehead a bit. “What is going on in that beautiful brain of yours, Felicity Smoak Queen? Talk to me.”
She looked him in the eye and replied, “just nervous. I hope everything stays quiet for days with the Holiday’s starting and Mom coming here and planning this party with Thea. Now Will coming into the bunker. Just praying, you know.”
“Yeah, I know,” as he looked at his wife of one week. “I noticed the pictures and things of yours finally landed and made me smile when I saw your elephant over there.”
“Yeah, Raisa, helped me today. I hope it’s not too much. I tried to not overtake the space.”
“It’s your home Felicity. It’s our home. As a family we can sort through everything else this weekend.” Oliver started with a small chaste kiss and Felicity reached up and grabbed his face, pulling him in for a deeper kiss.
……
Waking up the next morning, Felicity stretched and glanced at her wedding ring married finally.
Crap, Mom is coming today. I got to pick her up at 9. Felicity thinks. She got ready for the day. She walked into the living room and saw Will in her green blanket, which made her smile. No one in the kitchen, she noticed.
“Morning Will.”
“Morning Lissy,” William smiled.
“Where is dad?”
“He went for a run about 10 minutes ago.” William smiled at her.
“Whatcha watching?” Felicity asked.
“Teen Titans, want to watch?”
“Yeah,” Felicity sat down and Will shared the blanket with her. After the show is over Felicity told him to get dressed. They had to go to pick her mom up at the airport.
A few minutes later, Oliver came in from his jog as he grabbed her around the waist.
“You’re all sweaty,” she squealed.
“I thought you like me all sweaty.” Oliver kissed her on the nose.
“I do, but not when I’m dressed for picking up my Mom at the airport and you need to get dressed.”
Oliver kissed her forehead and went to get ready for the day.
With Felicity’s Mom coming Raisa is making a special dinner.
“Morning, Raisa,” Williams said. Felicity smiles and straightened Williams tie.
“How many people are coming today again, Felicity?” Raisa asked.
“Let me see Mom, John, Lyla, J.J., and Thea plus us makes 7 with you.” Felicity answered.
“I’m bringing chairs from storage when we get back,” Oliver added.
Raisa hugged William, “behave William and stick close to Felicity and your father.”
“Yes Ma'am.”
“Light breakfast big meal later,”
…..
At the airport, Felicity was tapping her toe nervously. She has been distant with her Mom since she went back to Vegas only because she was so busy, but hopefully Donna won’t be too mad about her and Oliver being married. She looked at William and he looked like he wants to bolt.
Oliver approached William. “What’s wrong bud?”
“Nervous” William swallowed “What if Felicity’s Mom hates me, or I don’t know her, so what if we don’t get along.”
“Donna is an incredibly loving woman. She has forgiven me for breaking Felicity’s heart once. She knows that we are all family now, I’m sure she is just as nervous as you. Donna is really enthusiastic and loves hugs, so don’t be surprised,” Oliver rubbed his back.
“My mom will love you as much as I do Will, don’t worry…..”
“Baby, Oh my God you look so beautiful. Oliver honey, how are you? You must be William?   I’m Donna, Felicity’s Mom but, if you want you can call me Bubbe.” Donna hugged all three.
Felicity grabbed her arms, “slow down ok? Show us where your bags are and lets go do this back at the apartment.”
“Okay honey, I’m just so excited my baby is married.”
“Donna it is really is good to see you,” Oliver added.
“Oliver call me Mom honey.” Donna smiled.
“Okay, Mom” Oliver grabbed her bag from the carousel.
“Let’s go home.” Felicity replied as she gave William a small hug..
They got back to the apartment and Raisa had set out a light lunch for them. Donna got the tour from William. They seem to be getting along, “what does Bubbe mean?” William asked.
“Its Hebrew for grandmother but if you don’t feel comfortable William you can call me Donna. But just so you know I am going to spoil you like a grandson, because you are a part of my family now as well. You have so many people who love you and that includes me.” Donna hugged William
“Thanks Bubbe.” William smiled. “Felicity can you help me with my project from science fair later?”
“Of course Will.”
As William goes to his room Oliver followed him. “You okay Will?”
“Yeah, I guess I am kind of missing Grandma and Grandpa a little. They weren’t around a lot, but Grandpa always made Christmas better by taking me ice skating and stuff, while Mom and Grandma argued all the time. Do Felicity and her Mom argue?” Will asked.
“No, not really, they talk and may disagree a little bit, but they don’t argue.”
William played with his tie, “Mom said Grandma was just difficult, but I heard her call me bastard a few times that is usually when Grandpa would sneak me out of the house. So I guess I don’t have good experience with Grandmas.” William tugged his tie off.
“Will I think it’s about time you got a good Bubbe experience? Donna’s great and she would never think or say anything like that.” Oliver hugged his son. How dare these people treat his son this way?
“Mom, where are you?” Felicity called.
“Looking at this view, I didn’t realize there could be a better view than your loft,” Donna said.
“Yeah, it’s great. You’re okay staying at the loft with Thea right?” Felicity asked.
“Of course, I love Thea.  She’s very vibrant like me.”
“I’ve missed you Mom,” Felicity hugged her.
“Me too baby girl.”
Oliver came up from behind. “Hey do you guys want to go skating tomorrow? Will said something that makes me want to take him skating.”
“Sure we can drink cocoa and watch you skate.” Donna hugged Oliver.
“Desert girl Oliver not sure skates and I get along…”
“Come on try it for Will,” Oliver said as he kissed her on the nose.
“Alright but no laughing when I fall on my face or other body parts,” she poked him on the chest.
“No promises. Hey Will come out here, we’re going skating tomorrow Felicity needs lessons.”
“Hey, maybe Rene and Zoey could come. Zoey plays hockey for school.” Felicity said.
“That would be cool.” William smiled and ran back into his room.
“I think he likes her,” she hugged Oliver as she texted Rene then Thea, to see where she was. “Thea is in the elevator.”
“Dad. Can you come here?” William yelled.
“What’s up?” Oliver looked in the door.
“My skates pinch, I need new ones.” William mumbled.
“We can get them tomorrow morning, first thing Sportsplex opens at 9 tomorrow. Don’t worry, all good probably have to get myself some too, can’t remember where mine are?” Oliver reassured him.
“I think they’re at the loft in the storage room, Felicity, Donna it is so good to see you again,” Thea smiled hugging Donna.
“Auntie Thea!” William ran towards her.
“Hey Will.”
“Hey, so good to see you moving about the world Speedy. I’ve missed you,” Oliver hugged Thea.
“Oh my God, this party planning is going to be so fun and expect a lot because I am paying you two back for just up and getting married,” Thea laughed.
Oliver and Felicity groaned at the same time.
“Serves you both right and I am so bringing the glitter Thea,” Donna added.
“Mom no glitter, please!” Felicity face palmed herself.  William and Oliver just started laughing.
Raisa walked in at that moment. “I’m so happy to see everyone so happy both your children deserve all this happiness.” Thea hugged Raisa and kissed her cheek. “Enough of that enjoy while I get dinner ready.”
The girls sat on the sofa and Will asked if they wanted to play one of his MCU games. “I’m so winning this time you and Lis can eat my dust,” Thea exclaimed.
Oliver just stood there watching it all happen, Felicity came up to him and hugged him whispering, “we both deserve this much happiness, but you, especially you, my wonderful husband deserve this much.” Oliver smiled down at her eyes, shining everything he dreamed of 4 years ago, watching her and Lyla after JJ was born. It’s finally here. Oliver kissed the top of her head and said “thank you.” Felicity smiled up at him, “you never have to thank me not ever.” He hugged her tighter and then they both grabbed controllers. “You’re going down Speedy.”
The night continued like that, with William showing JJ how to work the controls for Mario kart, Lyla and John just enjoying this time as much as Oliver and Felicity. Thea turned to Donna, “come on Mama Smoak, let’s get out of here lots to do tomorrow.” Thea and Donna rise to leave and John grabbing a very sleepy JJ head home. Oliver and Felicity hug Raisa and thank her for dinner. William went to get ready for bed.
“Felicity thank you for making my dad so happy love you, goodnight Dad and Felicity.” William closed his door and went to bed.
Felicity turned to Oliver, “he loves me Oh my God I didn’t say it back.
Oliver hugged her, “tomorrow. We have a million tomorrows, now.” they head to the room hands interlaced Oliver turned and pulled her in for a kiss that was so tender and loving. Felicity reached around his neck and made the kiss more passionate as they headed towards their bedroom. They closed the door to their room and head to the bed. The next couple of days was a fury of fun and planning and shopping.
William smiling a lot, not much had happened in the city they were just getting things repaired, prepared and sorted when Felicity got a text.
C-Dead body looks like Black Siren.
“Great? Oliver.” She showed her husband the text, “your mom and Thea are busy and Raisa is at a friend’s. So I guess we can bring him. If you think he’s ready?  It’s just recon anyway.”
“I agree as long as he brings his homework.”
Felicity and Oliver knock on his door, “William pack your homework and we’ll grab Big Belly on our way to the bunker. Are you sure you’re ready for this?” Oliver asked.
“Yes,” Will packed his backpack. They headed out to the bunker.
……..
“Hi Curtis” William yelled running down the stairs.
“Will, what are you doing here?” Curtis looked confused.
“We thought he should see what happens try to quell some of his fears and maybe help his understand better,” Oliver slapped Curtis on the back.
Felicity added, “he will only see what I think he should and listen to me. Right, William?”
“Yes Lissy I promised.” William set his bag on the conference table and opened it up getting his stuff out.
“Suit Up”
Everyone went to get dressed and Felicity turned to her monitors hacking into the nearby traffic cameras and Police radios.  “Looks suspicious, be cautious rooftop across from the site looks clear and good vantage point.”
The team heads out.  Felicity put the bunker on lock down and turned on the com’s and body cameras.
“Okay,” Felicity motioned for William to come over. He went to where Felicity pointed. “See this is Green Arrow’s Camera and Mr. Terrific’s.” William went to speak Felicity held up a finger and silenced her com.  “Okay what?”
“Why did you do that?” William asked.
“Because if anyone may be listening on the com I don’t want them to hear you, Will. That would not be good.  So if you want to ask me something tap my shoulder and I will give you a signal it’s okay to talk like this.” Felicity made a thumbs up symbol, “and I will go like this when you are not to speak,” she made the sh symbol on her lips, William nodded.
“So that’s Green Arrow, Dad right?” Felicity nodded her head.  They arrived and Felicity gave him the quiet symbol.
“Definitely something out of sorts here Overwatch” Curtis whispered.
“Looks staged, stay low Terrific.” Oliver looked around the setting.  He noticed a glint from the window in the building across from the shooting. “Focus on that window Overwatch.”
“On it.  According to heat signatures there is no one in there but the Wi-Fi protection levels are definitely James type.  Probably a trap of some sort.  Stay out of there.” Felicity screamed, “there is definitely something off like a trap of sorts.  Terrific send in a T-sphere.”
Curtis threw the sphere at the window capturing a picture of a thermo imaging camera and laptop before going dead.  “I was right some sort of trap.”  Felicity started chewing on her bottom lip.  “I am going to send a message to the police anonymously about a possible trap above their heads using his IP from there.”
“On our way back,” Oliver told Felicity.
…….
Back at the lair they watched from a camera that was placed on the adjacent building.  The camera was pointed at the scene below supposedly a trap of some sort for the hero’s.
“If I dig further into his firewall he may be able to piggyback of that to watch us through our cameras again.  I think we have to let Dinah do the leg work on this as a lieutenant.” Felicity started typing a message to Dinah.
“Okay let’s go home Thea and your Mom were coming over for dinner to finalize the reception.”  Oliver held out his hand for his wife.
William packed up his back pack and looked a little dejected, “kind of disappointed I didn’t really see anything.” Curtis looked at him and said, “Will about 50% of what we do is leg work and recognisance we cannot go into a situation blind and we always trust our instincts.  Your Dad taught us that.”
“Good to know you were listening Curtis.” Oliver patted him on the back.
Back at the apartment Oliver showered and Felicity set the table.  The lasagna smelled delicious, just then there is a knock on the door.  Will ran to answer it.  Felicity saw Thea, her Mom and her Father.  She quickly ran to pull Will back.  “What are you doing here? Mom what is he doing here? Like we don’t have enough to deal with you here.”
Oliver ran out as he pulled on his shirt.  “Noah what?  Thea did you know about this?”
Donna reached up and grabbed Felicity’s arm.  “Baby girl your Dad and I have been talking. I called him and told him you got married.  He wanted to be here for you.  I promise there is no ulterior motive here other than wanting to be here for his daughter.”
“Mom, he is full of ulterior motives.  How can you trust him?  I can’t, No you stay on the outside of that door Noah.”  She grabbed onto Oliver and collapsed onto the couch.
“Felicity, Baby I wouldn’t have brought him here if I had thought there was an ulterior motive.” Donna tried to sooth Felicity but it was definitely not working.
“Do you want me to ask him to leave?” Oliver looked at Felicity.
“No, I want to know why you think Noah after everything I forgave you 100%.  The least you could have done in the last I don’t know a year would be to call me.  Honestly, Noah when you left again at Mom’s request what makes you think I would want you to cut me off completely.  Where have you been?”  Felicity looked directly at her Father waiting for an answer.
“Felicity, I wanted to call you but right after I left your place ARGUS approached me and I have been working with them deep undercover.  Lyla thought you might be alright with me being here.  She said you could call her and verify everything.”  Noah looked down at the floor. “I have always loved you Felicity and I am so happy that you are happy and I just want the opportunity to be a Father walking his daughter down the aisle.”
“Oliver, I don’t know what to do.” Felicity turned into his arms and started crying.  Oliver looked at everyone, “give us a minute.  Noah come in sit down.” He lifted Felicity and carried her into their bedroom followed by William.
“Felicity, I just want to give you a hug I have never seen you so sad.” William grabbed her around the waist and Felicity kissed the top of his head.
“Thanks buddy, can you give Felicity and I a minute okay? Go play with Aunt Thea in your room. Oh, ask her to turn the oven down will you.” Oliver rubbed his back. “Okay, Dad,” William ran out of the room to his Aunt.
“Honey look at me, this is all up to you but you know how I feel about family.  No matter the mistakes my Dad made I would give anything to have him here to see how happy I am and how wonderful our life really is bumps and bruise and all.” He hugged her tight to him. “I think in this maybe call Lyla check his story and then we give him a chance.  If he can convince your Mom all this and she has been dead set against him for decade’s maybe he’s telling the truth.”
“Oh God I hope so Oliver I want so bad for this to be true.” She looked up at him and kissed his cheek.
“Call Lyla,” He kissed her on the lips so gently and handed her the phone. “Do you want me to stay?”
“Yes, hello Lyla I guess you know why I am calling.  Is what Noah is saying true has he been working with you? … really, okay.  So what, okay top secret.  Thanks Lyla.” Felicity hung up.
“I guess he was telling the truth from what I heard.” Felicity nodded at Oliver. “So, Felicity what do you want to do with this?  All of it is up to you, Honey.”
“I want him here part of me really does want him here.  I am scared so I want us to stay on alert with him.  He goes no where near the business or anything else. I really want to be cautiously optimistic, you know.”  She looked up at Oliver and he nodded he goes to the kitchen leaving Felicity to freshen up.
“Noah, I called Lyla and yes I do want you here but know there is no way you are going anywhere near my business and I will be observing as much as possible.  So you need to get a hotel room as you are not going near the loft.” Felicity looked at him and she reached out to give him a hug. “Thank you for saving my life and I hope that this works.”
“Me too Felicity, I am so very proud of you and Oliver is good for you I can see how much he truly loves you.  I will be on my best behaviour.” Noah hugged her back.
“Will can you set another place setting? Let’s eat everyone.” Oliver announced.
Dinner went well with casual conversation and stories of how they got married, leaving out the part about Earth Xer’s.  After dinner Donna pulled out her wedding story board.  The planning goes well with a veto on Glitter on the tables.  Tomorrow should be beautiful and Felicity cannot wait to show the world how much she loves Oliver, oh and her dress.  Felicity is sleeping at the loft tonight, even though they are married she liked the idea of seeing him finally waiting for her and them to start their lives in front of everyone they love.  She kissed Will on the cheek and then she turned and kissed her husband fully and passionately on the lips. “Mmhmm, see you tomorrow, I love you sooooo much.”
“I love you too and I cannot wait.” Oliver hugs her to him.
Tomorrow can’t wait……

Synopsis:  3 years after Nick and Judy started working together as police partners, Zootopia was encountering a threat, the monsters called Savages. ZPD (Zootopia Police Department) and DIB (Defense Intelligence Bureau) co-founded SCU (Savage Control Unit), the special task force with sole purpose to exterminate Savages. Nick and Judy were senior police officers but they tended to tackle the monsters a lot by becoming one, an armored hero mixed between fox and rabbit, Hybrid. The new cases, chaos and henshin heroes arrived!
A fleeing sports car came to a screeching halt. Officer Judy Hopps and Officer Nick Wilde exited their patrol cruiser then approached a street racer. “Sir, you were going 115 miles per hour. I hope you have a good explanation.” Judy informed.
However, when the driver’s window moved down, the lawbreaker was revealed to be… “Flash? Flash? Hundred yard dash!?” Nick took off his shades to get a good look at the driver. It was Flash the sloth.
“. . . N i c k” Flash called out the brand new cop’s name at a seriously slow pace.
That was the first assignment of Nick and Judy as partners. It felt like yesterday although it had already been three year since back then. In the morning at the Zootopia Police Department headquarters, there were some minor changes here and there, new faces, transferred employees, some… had gone...
“All right. Everybody! Sit! Today, I have an important announcement.” A mammal standing at the podium was no one other than Chief Bogo, a male Cape buffalo and the chief of the Zootopia Police Department or ZPD for short.
“Sir, aren’t you tired from being a chief for many years? Consider settling down?” The fox senior police officer teased his supervisor.
“It’s too early to get rid of me, Wilde.” Chief quipped as a response to the first and still the only one fox cop in the department, Nick Wilde, which got a laugh out of others in the bullpen. This playful behaviour had become a routine at work. It lightened up the mood and helped reinforcing a positive impression towards the fox.
Bogo put on glasses to read the report in his hoof. “Ahem. Y’all might have already known. Just to remind you, the missing mammal cases that occurred these recent years in the Canals, the Meadowlands, the Nocturnal District, Outback Island, Sherwood and Bunnyburrow-” He paused to glance at one officer after he mentioned her hometown. Senior Officer Judy Hopps, who shared a front roll seat with her partner Nick, was listening attentively. Moreover, she seemed tense. It was understandable for Bogo. He breathed in and resumed. “Just now, there is progress in those cases. Police from other precincts found clues that lead to Zootopia. A few of you are needed to work on them. Treat ’em as your priority. Assignments!” The buffalo was about to give assignments but he felt the urge to emphasize current situation. “Oh by the way, if anybody encounters Savage , escort citizens in the area, contact SCU and stay away from Savage. Understand?”
“Yes’sir” Every police in the bullpen burst out in reply, not exactly every single one.
Bogo inspected Judy being quiet. She averted her eyes when they met with Bogo’s. He knew immediately what was on her mind. “Officer Hopps. Parking duty.”
The bunny cop went all alert. “What!? Chief-” She wanted to argue. However, Bogo interrupted. “Now… do you understand?” He repeated intimidatingly.
.--. .- .-. - -. . .-. ...
“This is ridiculous! Can’t believe after all these years, I got assigned a parking duty again!” Judy grunted. At Downtown street, she and her partner, Nick Wilde, were standing next to a patrol car that Chief let them drive instead of meter maid cart because of current city situation… It would be dangerous, not fast enough to escape...
“Chill, Fluff. Besides, if either of us is supposed to complain. I should be the one since I tag along with you.” Wearing sunglasses, Nick swirled a cup of coffee in his paw.
“You don’t have to say that. I’ve felt bad already.” Judy sighed, feeling blameworthy that she was a reason the fox was punished as well… He would not let her go through hard time alone. That sort of made her happy, yet also built up a guilt.
“Hey, we are duo through thick ’n thin no matter what, Carrots. And where is your positivity? Couple of years ago, you still found a way to challenge ourselves doing this kind of tasks. Aren’t ya gonna write hundreds of tickets or something?” This was not the first time they were assigned a parking duty together but as Nick stated, Judy used to bring out a spirit to any assignments.
“I will if it’s possible! Look! There are scarcely few cars on street!” The bunny pointed out their surroundings. Road was clear, not many cars running or parking, which was probably what they expected when Bogo intended to keep them far from the battleground. Therefore, he gave them this disciplinary penalty for acting stubborn.
“Consider this taking things slow then.” The tod sip his coffee. “Snarlbucks blueberry coffee is delish.”
Judy put on a half-smile. She loved her partner’s blueberry obsession but the smile turned to frown. “How can I slow down? The city is-”
“Go ahead, patrol, Judy, my dear.” Old lady voice attracted the doe’s attention, causing rabbit ears to flick. Judy turned around to greet. “Officer Mabel!” An elderly female goat meter maid, walking with a cane, waved the hand to greet back. “Don’t be worried. I can cover for you two. It has been a light work since nobody dares to roam the streets anyway.” said Mabel.
Judy grinned and ran to open the driver door of police car. “Thank you, Officer Mabel! Call us if anything happens! Nick! Get in a car!” The bunny ordered, yet Nick tarried. “Hang on~ I wanna appreciate some peaceful moments more-” He was going to take another sip.  A door of passenger seat was opened from the inside, a bunny paw reached out and grabbed his tie. “Hurry!” Judy crawled from driver seat to passenger seat and opened the door to get her partner who struck a pose outside the cruiser. She dragged him in. The fox staggered into a car. “Mah coffee!” almost dropped his cup. They closed the doors in unison then the doe started the engine.
“Good luck” Mabel wished two officers luck as they departed.
- .... .. -.-. -.- / .- -. -.. / - .... .. -.
After hours of patrolling around Downtown and Rainforest district, both arrived at Cliffside Asylum. There were a group of mammals yelling at a guard. Bunny cop turned off the engine to take a look.
“You folks ain’t allowed to come in here!” A wolf guard stopped teenage camera crew at the gate. The crew was consisted of bear, fox, rabbit, raccoon and skunk.
“C’mon! We’re not messing around!” A bear, holding a camera, shouted. A skunk flipped a script and assisted protesting. “We’re here to film a documentary.” Juveniles clamored. A rabbit buck brought out a phone to record a video. “This building is wicked! It was involved in former-mayor Lionheart mammal abduction and Savage-”
“No video!” The guard swatted buck’s phone away, standing ground to say no to the youngsters.
Judy monitored the fuss, speaking nonspecifically. “Ever since then, this place has been forbidden. Suspicious-”
“Hold your horses! Forget about investigation. Even the high ranked police strenuously get a warrant.” Removing his shades, Nick interjected. The mentioned fact distressed the doe. She moaned while staring out the window. Shortly afterwards, Judy jerked, making Nick flinched. He shifted his focus to the same direction as his partner, spotting other raccoon going through the gate when wolf guard was busy dealing with camera crew.
“The thing is, you don’t need a warrant if you have probable cause-” Judy stated then Nick added promptly. “And you saw a potential criminal sneaking in.”
“Bingo~” The doe exclaimed. “Sly bunny~” Tod commented.
“Let’s go. And don’t forget your driver!” She said.
“How can you carry it with you all the time?” He questioned. “I have my own method.” Bunny responded. Nick and Judy got off the car and used this chance while the guard being distracted to sneak into the complex.
Inside the asylum, which had dramatically changed, wrecked and abandoned, demolished walls, ceilings and floors, equipments and stuff scattering all over the place, blood stain…, the raccoon intruder held a flashlight in his mouth as he rummaged through a crumbled laboratory. “Where is it? Geez...” Raccoon expressed annoyance. He kept searching though his jaw felt sore from holding the flashlight. But he turned down the light and ducked under a table when he heard some noise, peeping who or what was coming. Two police officers, fox and rabbit, more than enough to identify who they are, scouted about. Nick pointed at one direction and moved his paw in and out, suggesting he should go that way. Judy shook her head to reject Nick’s suggestion. She pointed at Nick, drew her paw in and tapped her chest with index finger, advising him not to separate but stick together.
Shoot! Cops!! At least, it’s mammal. I can grab it quickly and get out of here before- Speaking of the devil, the most terrifying thing Raccoon wished he did not encounter emerged.
The partner’s ears captured a scream. They rushed to the source of sound, surprisingly bumping against the intruder. Apparently, he was fleeing from something and there was no need to guess because it followed the raccoon not far behind. Its pupils were glowing in the dark. The duo instantly perceived what it was.
“RunRunRunRunRun!!” Judy commanded incessantly. They raced down the hallway, avoiding tripping concrete wreckage.
“Still some left in here? Good grief~” Nick grumbled.
“Savage ...” Judy called a monster that was after them, the mammal-like purple creatures which had threatened Zootopia since one year ago, their behavior resembled the fierce feral animals. Therefore, they were named Savage. This one looked similar to a jaguar. However, it had the exoskeleton covering its body and a strip of long fur lined down its spine. Its saliva dripped everywhere while it was chasing police and civilian on all four.
“Bunny! Aren’t you a cop? Shoot it!” Raccoon bawled.
“I have only tranq gun and it doesn’t work on them!” Judy’s lethal weapon was confiscated when she received an assignment that those types of weapons are not necessary.
“Use mine.” Nick gave Judy a pistol. “H-How?” Puzzled, the doe inquired. Subsequently, tod riposted. “I’m not the one getting punished. remember?” Both beamed at each other. Judy grasped Nick’s pistol. It is a bit too big for her paws but she could work on it. Nick offered his firearm since Judy is a better shooter than him. She started firing on Savage which was pursuing them.
“For the last time, no means no! You can’t go in-” The wolf guard addressed the final warning to the teenagers before ears perked up to catch the roar from the asylum. Wolf rotated to get a glimpse, three mammals running away from Jaguar Savage . “Okay, you kids do whatever you please. I gonna call SCU.” Guard and camera crew split.
“You! That way!” Judy told the raccoon, pointing different direction. They made it out of building, still Savage kept hunting them.
“Don’t leave me, Coppah!” He whined. Nick swiftly corrected raccoon’s thought. “We will decoy that monster. Now, go!” Fox stressed. The raccoon hesitated. He eventually escaped to hide around the corner of the asylum.
“Finally, we’re left alone.” The doe heaved a sigh of relief. “Ready, partner?” She stopped abruptly, so did the tod. They about-faced the monster and brought out the devices. “Here we go again” Nick was mentally prepared. Both put them over the front middle of waist.
The devices are identical, arm-sized black machine with purple 1.25 inch diameter flat circle at the center, maroon motorcycle handlebar on the right half and silver syringe having a 45 degree tilt. The devices extended the belt to wrap around the wearer's waist.
Nick pulled the syringe which has spring mechanism. It was drawn back automatically after he let it go. “ DRAW BLOOD ” Nick’s device spoke robotically. Blood filled in Nick’s syringe then it teleported into the syringe of Judy’s device. Judy pressed the syringe which sprang out on its own. “ INJECT ” Judy’s device spoke robotically as well. Fox’s blood was injected into rabbit. He fell asleep standing up, lying unconsciously on the ground.
Savage was charging at the duo. Rabbit uttered. “Transform!” Then she twisted the device’s handle anticlockwise with her right paw. “ IGNITE ” Judy’s device spoke. The handle was twisted back by the spring mechanism. It released purple steam, followed by the hot purple mist explosion. Savage halted, viewing the mist swallowing the bunny whole. In the thick fog, device core illuminated, two amethyst headlamps shone up where Judy eyes are. The mist was fading, revealing a flamingo red full suit head-to-toe bio armoured Hybrid between a fox and a rabbit, obvious Judy’s body type, soft metal long rabbit ears, red long fluffy fox tail made of spikes instead of fur, light green torso with blue stripe on front dividing left and right, grayish-tan lower body except flamingo red feet, stylish headlights for eyes and fangs with a pair of buck teeth pattern on muzzle.
Savage ’s instinct commanded it to assault the new threat. The monster stormed towards the armoured figure. Hybrid sprinted off, dodging to the right side, landing a right hook on Jaguar Savage ’s shoulder, knee bashing its throat. Savage angled its head upward. Hybrid palm struck monster’s chin.
“You punch like a bunny.” Judy jestingly criticized Nick who chuckled at a pun. How can he help it? He was literally in the bunny body…
The monster bounced back, trying to attack the fox-mixed rabbit once again. Judy protracted the right paw claw, pivoting 360 degree, lacerating Savage’s face. It bellowed in agony. “And you are ferocious.” Tod remarked. “Like a fox~” Doe added. “Oy! That’s all you. Tenderness runs in my blood.” He protested.
Savage veered off, hurtling toward a defenseless sleeping fox. Nick gasped “It’s going after my body!” He panicked. Judy pushed the syringe. “ ACTIVATE ” The belt voiced. Hybrid zoomed at an incredible pace, breaking through the wind, each step sent the dust flying everywhere, catching up with the monster in a trice. Hybrid hopped, trampling on Savage ’s back. It paused due to a severe blow, giving an opportunity for Hybrid to retrieve Nick’s body. Judy was carrying the fox to the side of building. She laid him down where it must be safe from harm. “Dang! I look good even when I’m napping.~” Nick complimented his presence. He rubbed his chin but Judy intervened. “Cut it out already! We’re far from done with that Savage.”
When Hybrid returned, the monster had disappeared. “See! We’ve lost it!” The doe blamed the tod. “Relax, Carrots.” Nick pushed the syringe. “ ACTIVATE ” Hybrid’s ears perked up, harking the sounds of environment, tracing its location. “That way!” Duo shouted.
- .-. .- -. ... ..-. --- .-. --
Jaguar Savage escaped from Cliffside Asylum and reached South Canyon. However, a trope of armed mammals were blocking a road. They were wearing tactical gears, bulletproof uniforms and face shield helmets, SCU logos are embroidered on back and right chest.
“Ready!” A white stallion signaled. SCU agents rifles properly. He continued. “Aim!” They target Savage . “Fire!” Horse bawled. The agents opened fire on the monster. It stood sideways to avoid the probable damages. Its shell deflected the bullets yet it began to fracture after the several hits. SCU team is specialized in exterminating Savage. They hastened to track down and eliminate the target as soon as they were contacted by a wolf. The jaguar was about to withdraw. “Quick! If it climbs up that hill, we won’t be able to follow it!” Stallion warned.
“Mine Mine Mine Mine~” The repeated yelling earned agents’ attention. It was as loud as or even louder than the gunshot noise. They stopped shooting to take a gaze. A weird rabbit knight was heading towards their way. Actually, it was the running bio armoured bunny fox hybrid. “Don’t ya steal my kill!” said Nick. Judy twisted the device’s handle anticlockwise again. “ CRITICAL BREAK ” Hybrid accelerated to the point of becoming a red blur with amethyst light lines alongside from the eyes. Hybrid leaped when getting close enough to Savage and roll front flip in mid-air. The partners double kicked the monster’s flank. The impact shattered its exoskeleton. The protracted bunny feet claws were inserted through the shell cracks, digging in Savage ’s flesh. Hybrid shoved the monster away, landing backflip on a ground. Every part of Savage was evaporating as it was dying.
SCU gaped at an armoured mammal. “Applause~ Applause~ No need to thank me~ Just doing my job.” Nick babbled. “Freeze, Hybrid !” They did not get a round of applause. Instead, the agents were pointing the rifles at Hybrid . “I would love to stay but… Gotta dash!” Nick waved a paw. Judy, giggling at a fox’s frisky nature, took control of the body, skedaddling. Horse directed. “Fire tranq dart! Fire!” They shot nonstop at Hybrid, who pressed the syringe, “ACTIVATE” vanishing into thin air. “We lost them again!” White horse neighed after Hybrid evaded the special force once again without any traces.
“Let’s meet at the car.” Judy advised, holing up over the hill despite being on the road below merely second ago. “Roger~ See ya, Carrots~” Nick agreed. She pulled the syringe. Blood was drawn and teleported to other syringe as Judy detransformed. The suit let out purple steam then disappeared. Her body and clothes were back to the state before Nick and she fought the monster together.
.- --. .- .. -.
“Hello, this is Jim Tuck.” Just invading the prohibited area, saved by police and hiding behind the side of asylum from the monster, the raccoon made a phone call. “No, I haven’t got a thing yet-” He jerked away from his phone because his interlocutor brawled aggressively. “What was I supposed to do!? Savage almost killed me! Look! Just give me more time, okay?” He stayed silent for seconds, hearing the answer. “Good! Deal! Bye!” He hung up and sighed.
“Tough luck huh?” The voice startled Jim. He turned to find the fox officer. Jim tried to bolt but the tod could seize raccoon’s wrist first. “Chill out~ I’m not here to arrest you. In fact, I think I can lend you a paw...” Nick apprised.

Completely Harmless Ch. 15
Completely Harmless An SSO SilverGlade Re-imagining Story (Or Fix it Fan Salt fic) By Ginny O.
When Lily and her friends wanted to buy horses and were directed to the Silverglade Manor and its myriad of problems, they didn’t expect to start a revolution. They were just a bunch a stable girls. Completely harmless. Right?

Chapter Fifteen Nefarious Counter Plots
Antonia did call begging for help moving things. Bjorn offered up his truck and so while half the girls stayed behind to do the daily chores and check ups around the Manor, the rest went with Bjorn to New Hillcrest going through an empty farm in Epona.
Bjorn told them about the area as he drove slowly so they could keep up.
“But the Dews disappeared. Don’t know who owns the olive farm now,” Bjorn sucked on the stem of the edible flower he kept in his mouth.
“Then, who are we to pay to get the olives,” Melody asked.
“Isn’t Maya over in Moorland a Dew?” Regina added.
Pauline nodded. “She is!”
“Well, she’ll know what happened here with her family,” Lily said. “We can ask her on the way back.”
Bjorn muttered about the trees in the road in the Marsh and how the New Hillcrest mayor wouldn’t look beyond their own nose despite their whole “planned” town. “If no one can get to your town because of trees in the road, what good is it,” he said crankily as they dragged big logs out of the road with improvised rope hoists from his truck.
Antonia had a good portion of her things packed up but not all of it. And she’d run out of boxes. So, they ran over to Jamie Olivetree the local (and horrid) baker to see if she had any and if any of the other stores had boxes they could use. They came back with boxes from Jamie and the different clothing stores and were able to finish packing up Antonia’s stuff quickly, carefully packing all the items with newspaper.
“I know the cottage is smaller. I mean, I’m getting rid of a lot of stuff. I was so hopeful when I moved here that the Winterwells would want a restaurant other than Jamie and nothing opened up.” Antonia raked a hand through her hair.
“But the Baroness wants one and that’s even better,” Regina said as she wrapped up some lamps. They loaded her things into Bjorn’s truck and boxes onto the horses and Antonia locked her house for the last time. “Let me go drop this key off with the Mayor,” she said.
Lily accompanied her and they informed the Mayor about both the new Restaurant and Event area opening soon at the Manor but also the Farmer’s Market run by the Summer Chipmunks. The Mayor sounded pleased about it all.
Bjorn grumbled. “Now if she’d be pleased enough to clear the roads.”
They headed back at the same pace as before.
Lily promised to meet them at the Village after she went and talked to Maya. She trotted off to Moorland.
“Maya!” She called out and waved as she got close. “You probably don’t remember me, I’m Lily. I was a camper here.”
Maya leaned on her shovel. “You’re right. I don’t remember you.”
“There are a lot of campers, it’s no matter,” Lily said. “Say, Bjorn, the Silverglade Manor gardener says that big old farm in Eastern Epona belongs to your family. We’re opening a Mediterranean restaurant,”
Maya held up her hand. “Belonged,” she said dryly and a little bitterly. “The G.E.D. bankrupted us and bought us out.”
Lily bit her tongue as not to swear. “I’m so sorry, Maya.”
Maya slumped. “Yeah. What are you going to do?”
“We’re going to help, that’s what we’re going to do,” Lily put her hands on her hips. “We aren’t going to give G.E.D. and the likes of Mr. Kemball money. And it’s not like they’re guarding it or doing anything with it from the looks of it. We need the olives for the restaurant.”
“It’s too late,” Maya moaned.
“It isn’t. Look, where did your family go to?”
“There’s a farm in the Forgotten Fields. But forget it, they won’t deal with you. They hide every time someone comes along. We’re ashamed. That farm in Epona had been in our family for generations.”
“And we’re going to help you get it back.”
“How?”
“By paying you for materials for the Restaurants. Look, the Manor is opening a restaurant and doing events. The Forgotten Fields is right across the South Silver Waters, right? Then, we give orders to you. You give them to your family and we’ll pay you for it. And we’ll tell other restaurants that are going to be opening soon to also use your family’s farm with their orders.”
“We can’t supply all of it!”
“Maybe, maybe not, there are a lot of farms in the area and they aren’t going to have everything we need either. But if all the families and tenant farmers got together and worked together so that everyone was growing different things with enough overlap there’s enough, everyone will benefit and your family will be making money again. You can get your farm back. Especially, since you’re the only family that does olives and we’re going to need a lot of those.”
Maya looked skeptical.
“Look, the Summer Chipmunks are putting together a Farmer’s Market.” Lily got out her phone and scribbled down the President’s number. “You take your family’s goods there and we can figure out what your family needs to plant in order to make money while they work to get their Olive Farm back. And, hey, if we do it right. Your family will have two thriving farms instead of one. It’s a traditional Greek menu this summer, we’re going to need olives, tomatoes, and cucumbers. We’re going to need milk for yoghurt and the different cheeses. We’re going to need chicken, beef, and lamb. I’m not sure about eggs because she might be using the duck eggs from all the ducks at the Manor.”
Maya looked dazed.
“Antonia, the head chef, is moving into Silverglade today. She’s going to want to talk to all her local suppliers. You want your family to be on that list.”
Maya burst into tears and then latched onto Lily. “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much. No one has had any ideas, any good ideas.”
“Hey,” Lily patted her back. “This area is about to see a revival. You’ll see.”
Maya nodded, let her go, and wiped her eyes. “Thanks.”
“I’ll talk to the President of the Summer Chipmunks about encouraging Steve and the others to come up with a farmer’s collective. I know the Sunfields have a creamery and that the Goldspurs and Will have flour mills.”
Maya nodded again. “Most of the farmers barely talk to each other. Jasper has a Pumpkin Farm in the Golden Hills.”
“Pumpkin is more of a fall thing,” Lily murmured. “I’ll go tell him about it. He can’t be as cranky as he was before.”
Maya wiped her eyes. “I hope not.”
Justin jogged over. “Hey, no upsetting the help.”
“Happy tears, Justin, happy tears!”
“Oh,” Justin rocked on his heels. “Things going okay over there in Silverglade.”
“We’re going to make a huge difference. You’ll see. Things are going grand,” Lily assured him.
Justin glanced at Maya who had composed herself.
“If you’re sure,” Justin said. “Since, you’re making Maya cry and all.”
“It is classified information, Moorland,” Lily said. “You aren’t authorized to know.”
Justin pouted. “Be that way.”
Lily winked at Maya.
Maya bit her lip.
“We don’t want G.E.D. to get wind of our nefarious counter plots,” Lily whispered.
Maya nodded rapidly.
Lily looked down her nose at Justin. “Well, I best be off, much counter insurgency to attend to.”
Justin scoffed.
Maya gave her a thumbs up.
Reassured that she’d made someone’s day better, Lily went to help Antonia finish unpacking and tell her about the fate of the Dew’s farm. Antonia was flabbergasted. “How could they do that? No. You’re right. I’m not giving G.E.D. any money. Not after the things they’ve done. We’ll get the money to the proper owners of the farm.”
“I don’t want to scare them by going to explore their farm now,” Lily fretted.
“Hopefully, someone will turn up at the first Farmer’s Market,” Linn said. “Even if it is only Maya. She can relay the news to her family. If they don’t want to be seen, then Maya can be their public face.”
“And she’s cute, people will be sympathetic since she’s cute.”
“Well, she mentioned Jasper has a bigger farm in the Golden Hills. He grows Pumpkins.”
“I don’t need pumpkins until at least October.” Antonia made a face.
“We can tell him that,” Lily grinned.
Once Antonia was settled, Lily and the other girls decided to check out the Golden Hills. “We used the transports, I only really saw the village,” Lily said to Abigail.
“We were on a timed schedule,” Pauline told her. “There are a lot of villages!”
They all laughed.
They rode down the road instead of winding through the dead gardens.
Jennifer sighed. “That is going to be a lot of work.”
“I don’t think Agnetha cares.”
They went past the Riding Arena. Sabine still practiced inside, though she’d hired someone else to time her.
The road led to a large iron gate and on the other side was the Golden Hills.
“So,” Lily asked slowly, “are the Golden Hills, golden?”
There was some giggling.
“I mean, this isn’t like the Golden Fields that used to be canola flower fields.”
“You think they’ll do anything about that,” Melody mused, meaning the Summer Chipmunks.
“Not our area,” Elsa said.
“Oh thank goodness,” a couple said together.
The Golden Hills were indeed golden. And they’d be more golden in the fall, Lily observed. However, now it was high summer so it a soothing blend of green and eye catching yellows. The Birch Trees continued on the other side of the gate. Their leaves would turn gold in the fall.
But among the Birch Trees were trees with green leaves and long chains of yellow flowers.
“What are these?” Lily asked Linn.
“Golden Chain Trees,” Linn said.
“Pretty,” Lily said.
Now, the girls from other places weren’t sure if it was accident or by design, but the many different bushes and flowers of the Golden Hills area that they noticed as they rode down the road to get to Jasper’s Pumpkin Farm were some color of yellow.
There were three bushes that were yellow that no one knew the names of. Though one had bunches of white flowers.
For flowers, Lily recognized goldenrod, though it was more of a weed than a flower. There were black eyed susans, yellow pansies and yellow daylilies. Grace, who knew more about flowers, pointed out yellow primroses, yarrow and of course, there were buttercups and some yellow snap dragons. There were also yellow impatiens.
This was fun according to Grace, because snap dragon seed pods looked like skulls and impatiens seed pods exploded when you touched them. There was a funny looking round flower that was called a Billy Button. The Garden Tickseed had bright yellow flowers with burgundy centers.
Elsa wanted to know if the people of the Golden Hills went out and just ripped out anything that wasn’t yellow. That made Linn and Tyra laugh. There were Mums and Marigolds for the fall of course. Right now they were growing as green plants and shrubs not yet flowering. And in Spring, among the birches, Linn said there were yellow daffodils as far as the eye could see.
“Those are bulbs,” Grace said looking down.
“They push out the tulips,” Linn said.
“Well, tulips aren’t currency anymore,” Grace sniffed.
There were some giggles.
They explored a bit before actually going to Jasper’s farm. The Golden Hill’s forest was a huge Birch forest and there was a race there run by a girl named Emma. The race itself had jumps and such of fallen trees and big rocks. The pumpkins were trying to take over the forest around Jasper’s farm. The pumpkins were still small and not at all ready to be picked yet. They told Jasper about the Farmer’s Market and that in the Fall, the chef of the Silver Glade was planning on using Pumpkin for something.
“Pumpkin and Pumpkin Spice is all the rage in fall,” Jasper agreed. He thanked them for the information.
They returned to Silverglade feeling they’d done their part to help out the Summer Chipmunks.
--
The next day the decorator arrived. He’d seen the pictures. He’d seen the ideas. He wanted to get his own take on the space. And, he wanted hard numbers. He needed to know exactly how many people they could sit in there because that was going to help determine how much money they could make for the floor space and how much each seat was going to cost.
Antonia nodded along and talked about food pricing and how she wanted to keep it low by sourcing from local vendors.
Linda hung off to the side and had the girls help her take pictures of the goings ons as a couple of the other girls were given measuring tapes and told what needed to be measured.
“For a nice modern space, we do want it to be something neutral, but not taupe,” the decorator raved. “We’re calling it the Silver Glade, then grey, grey that actually says something. French grey, dove grey, something warm so it’s not cold and then if we use more classical furniture in darker colors it will stand out like the dark slashes on the paper birch trees.”
“He’s making this up, right?” Stacy asked Theresa in a low voice.
Theresa shrugged.
“French paneling, definitely, Le George has that right,” the decorator nodded. “And these windows are spectacular. We don’t want to draw away from them and this gorgeous view of this amazing reflecting pool with curtains. “No. No. No.”
Agnetha presented him with a board of the different flowers she expected to put into the back gardens and the array of roses.
“Brilliant,” he said. “And you said the Baroness loves purple?”
“It’s a Winery, she adores purple,” Elsa said dryly.
“All right, we’ll have the Wedgewood intaglio vases and they’re smaller and then we can also have large purple glass vases to put the roses into and I know an artist who can make us purple and clear glassware for the tables. Let the purple of the glassware and the flowers be the only colors in the room to draw the eyes to exactly where you want them. Otherwise, use greys and silvers. There’s a plaster artist I know that can do a plaster bas relief above the doors like at the Le George if we want.”
“That sounds great,” Antonia said. “Anything to make this place seem posh and upscale and reflect the Mediterranean but still be classic.”
“Fresh and young,” Lily reminded them.
“That will be the purple glass,” the decorator said. “I think I have a handle on it. Up the stairs we go.”
He raved of the view from the roof. “All right, here is my thinking. We’re definitely going to want the same chairs. Though the ones in the dining room will be cushioned better. But I saw these antique roman style chairs like you wanted with something similar to the Silverglade Clan swirl on the back. We can have them up here and down there with grey or silver cushions. No grannie is going to want to come all the way up these stairs for a meal, so downstairs will be much more comfortable with back support cushions too. Otherwise, Ms. Agnetha, plant your roses everywhere for a romantic look and don’t worry about vases overly much. We can put some lights on the pillars here and along the walls if necessary among the flower boxes and call it a day.”
Everyone looked relieved that this probably wasn’t going to be a huge deal.
“We can get the flowers and lights in before the furniture arrives,” Agnetha reassured him.
“And I’ll be off to hire some workers to do the walls of down below and get my artist friend on the line.” He beamed at them. “We’ll need a chandelier in the same style as the rest,” he murmured making notes as he went.
“He seems to know what he’s doing at least,” Lily said.
“Relief,” Grace wiped her forehead. “I was worried he would call the place hopeless.”
“It’s a big empty room,” Elsa said.
Antonia leaned against a pillar. “This doesn’t quite feel real.”
“It will soon enough,” Lily told her.
Agnetha dusted her hands together. “Better get the lights order in then for up here.”
“Anastasia might have already.”
“Pish, she might have put in an order for designs, but she doesn’t know how many we need,” Agnetha said.
Lily decided to let Agnetha, the decorator, Anastasia, and the lighting artist sort it out. It sounded way to dizzying for her to do. The other girls agreed with her. But it looked like things were going to pick back up again very quickly.
FOR THE ACCOMPANYING IMAGES PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE MY WATERMARK AND CONTACT INFORMATION. THANK YOU. I get it. Some of you might get excited and want to see this stuff in the game, especially the clothes, tack, and pets. However, the only way I want to see this in the game is if I get paid for it. If I see it in the game and I’m not paid for it, there will be hell to pay. You think I’m salty. I’d be angry. Personally, I’m not going to send this info to SSO. If you do, leave my contact information there! Don’t give them any excuses to steal.
Now, I’ll know you haven’t read this note if you leave me comments about how ‘salty’ I am about the game and if I hate it so much I should do something else. I am doing something else. It’s called Mystic Riders MMORPG Project. Mystic Riders however is a very baby phase game. You can check out our plans on the game dev blog. (Skills, Factions, Professions, Crafting, Mini-Games, 25+ horse breeds!) If you know anyone who would be interested and has money or contacts about game making, direct them to the blog.
