People often view it simply as Coriolanus threatening Katniss.

That’s not entirely wrong.

HOWEVER…

This is a warning.

A preview.

Coriolanus has seen war.

He’s reasonably certain that the rebels imagine an idealistically short conflict. But he knows. He knows exactly what the reality looks like.

And it scares him. For the very survival of humanity first and foremost, like he and Peeta discuss in one of the best deleted scenes ever. And also because he loves having power. His power is meaningless if all that’s left is a ton of dirt and millions of corpses.

Every single scene of Donald Sutherland in this series, alone, is worth the price of admission. And they warrant more attention from fans.

Mr Slithers is a garter snake, if I'm going to be specific of the ribbon snake variety (you will not believe how many kinds of garter snakes there are) based on how bold the stripes are. He's a pretty big garter too, my one garter snake Buddy is probably only barely as thick as a pencil.

In today's random experiment of "Time to turn Aran Ryan into some type of Creature" is a snake monster! (or Naga)

This is a bit of an idea I've had for a few days while having to take some time off of drawing cuz of IRL reasons. But, I finally got the effort in me to draw this (thanks to like, 2 cups of coffee and a can of code red mtn dew lmao)

and of course, I had to make an alternate image where his body is green instead of the color I originally chose. I just eyedropped the color off of his Title Defense gloves (because I was using his TD image as a ref.) so here ya'll go. Feel free to tell me which one ya'll like more. :3
