I'd probably be here all day if I had to list them all individually. I've already professed my love for Adagio in G Minor before. We Are The Universe is up there too. Also whenever Muse does shows in Chicago they always do the Cherub Rock riff, which makes me jealous every time.

As far as the drum/bass jams go, the Helsinki and Munich jams are all-timers. But my personal favorite might be the Monty Jam. (Look me in the eye and tell me this doesn't squeeze an ounce of emotion out of you.)

I generally enjoy a lot of their pop songs, though Supermassive Black Hole will always be my first love. Depending on my mood I might also be into Undisclosed Desires, Time Is Running Out or Dead Inside (yeah, it's dark by their usual standards for pop). Right now though I'm weirdly feeling the urge to listen to You Make Me Feel Like It's Halloween.

As for heavy songs, it's pretty hard to beat Stockholm Syndrome. I also have a complicated relationship with Assassin - I want a version that keeps the barbershop vocals from the album but also has the Grand Omega Bosses bridge.

The playlist I chose to shuffle is my Work Music one. For context, the original purpose of this playlist was background music when I played Minecraft. Because of these requirements it is mostly made up of video game soundtracks. Nowadays I just listen to this when I’m at my job or doing projects, activities that require me to do repetitive tasks and/or run around.

DP x DC: The Most Dangerous Card Game

Ok so Danny has essentially claimed earth as his. And he is fully aware that there are constant threats to the planet. Now he can’t stop a threat that originates on earth (that’s something he’ll leave to the Justice league) but he can do something about outside threats. Doing some research on ancient spells, rituals, and artifacts, he cast a world wide barrier on the planet to protect it from hostile threats so they cannot enter. This will prevent another Pariah Dark incident. However, barriers like this come at a price. You see, there are two ways to make a barrier. Either make one powered up by your own energy and power (which would be constantly draining) or set up a barrier with rules. The way magic works is that nothing can be absolutely indestructible. It must have a weakness. The most powerful barriers weren’t the ones reinforced with layer after layer of protective charms and buffed up with power. Those could eventually be destroyed either by being overpowered, wearing them down, or by cutting off the original power source. No, the most powerful barriers were the ones with a deliberate weakness. A barrier indestructible except for one spot. A cage that can only be opened from the outside. Or that can only be passed with a key or by solving a riddle. So Danny chooses this type of barrier and does the necessary ritual and pours in enough power to make it. And he adds his condition for anyone to enter. 

Now the Justice league? Find out about the barrier when Trigon attempts to attack, they were preparing after he threatened what he would do once he got to earth. How he would destroy them. The Justice league tried to take the fight to him first but were utterly destroyed, so they retreated home to tend to their injuries, and fortify earth for one. Last. Stand. Only when Trigon makes his big entrance…he’s stopped.

The Justice league watch in awe as this thin see-through barrier with beautiful green swirls and speckled white lights like stars apears blocking Trigon and his army’s advance. The barrier looks so thin and fragile yet no matter how hard the warlord hits, none of his attacks can get through and neither can he damage said barrier. That’s when Constantine and Zatanna recognizes what this barrier is. Something only a powerful entity could create. For a moment, the league is filled with hope that Trigon can’t get through yet Constantine also explains that it’s not impenetrable. And clearly Trigon knows this too for he calls out a challenge. 

And that’s when, in a flash of light, a tiny glowing teenager appears. He looked absolutly minuscule compared to Trigon and yet practically glowed with power (this isn’t a King Danny AU though).

And that is when the conditions for passing the barrier are revealed. And the Justice realize that the only thing stopping Trigon and his army from decimating earth. The only way he can get through….is by beating this glowing teenager in a card game. 

Not just any card game though. The most convoluted game Sam, Danny, and Tucker invented themselves. It’s like the infinite realms version of magic the gathering, combined with Pokémon, and chess. And Danny is the master. So sit down Trigon and let’s play.

After Danny wins, this happens a few more times with outer word beings and possibly even demons attempting to invade earth, yet none have been able to beat the mysterious teenager in a card game. Constantine might even take a crack at it and try to figure out how to play. He’s really bad though. Every time this happens, the Justice league worry that this might be the time the teenager looses. Yet every time, he wins (even if only barely). 

Meanwhile, Danny, Sam, and Tucker have gotten addicted to the game and play it almost daily. Some teachers might seem them playing the game are are like ‘awww how cute’ not realizing this game is literally saving the world. Jazz is just happy they aren’t spending as much time on their screens playing Doomed.

Much less painful too. #Danny Tucker and Sam made the most complicated card game they could imagine. #It’s based on their strategies for fighting ghosts. Capturing them in thermoses. And MUCH based on a on field battle strategy. #It often requires spontaneous thinking on the spot. So Danny? In his ELEMNT. It doubles as practice for his actual ghost battles too. #They had SO much fun making this. #Sam added an entire series of plant cards that act as traps and healing ointments and duds that just take up the field. #Tucker added legitimate hyroglyphics combined with Latin as well as English and ghost speak. #Yes. You actually have to speak that language to play. With proper pronunciation. (Amity Parker’s think the three are talking gibberish.) #I headcanon Sam and Tucker are fluent in Ghost. #Constantine WILL figure this game out SO HELP HIM! #Some of the cards also have combinations related to constellations either in name or placement on the board. #By the way the board is based on a Hexagonal summoning circle with Rhunes along the edges #And the placement of the cards on the board and on what rhune MATTERS. #Also the cards move disintegrate and have certain abilities. Think of Harry Potter Wizard Chess. #But they are normal when Danny plays at school. This is just for ✨effect✨ Against invaders. #Danny faces multiple opponents. He also halts alien invasions. #While Danny COULD stop crime on earth he’s not sure how to fight a normal human and hold back so he sticks to ghosts. #The Justice league are going crazy trying to figure out who this entity is and after deep research are convinced this is some sort of #Ancient being who has protected earth for millenia. They have paintings on ruins and everything. #Danny is not aware they think this. #Raven starts praying to Danny as if he is a god and wrangles the other Teen Titans into doing so as well. Danny is still unaware of this. #Danny is not a King or an ancient. Just a very VERY strong ghost.

Short drabble with ~800 words, E, Raphael x Reader (gn)

Next time he sees you, he snaps his fingers, taking you back to the House of Hope with a thought once more. Only this time, you're not at the dining table. You're in the boudoir.

"Working with an impostor to rid the world of souls, little mouse?", he asks sternly, but there's something else in his voice, disdain, jealousy, you can't really tell, but it stirs at your core all the same.

"Better than to be tortured by your hands", you scoff, remembering all the suffering you saw when you infiltrated his house.

"Everyone here had a choice", he slowly explains, "but maybe you would like to experience what it's like to be powerless instead, like your new friend intends? Have no will of your own? Be forced to... obey?"

You can't even reply, the words dying in your mouth, as a silent command forces your body onto your knees. The devil strolls around you, then grabs your face with his hand, pulling your head upward to look at him.

"Open", he demands, and you realize it's purely for show, he doesn't need to say a damn word, but he does it anyway. Your mouth opens against your will, and he slowly pushes two fingers in, then another, then the fourth one, with only his thumb hanging out. Your jaw hurts as he pumps his fingers in and out of your mouth, some of them pulling at your tongue, and saliva drools down your chin and your throat as he watches you suck on his hand with an almost bored expression.

He yanks his hand away, then strolls over to the bed.

"I've heard from Haarlep that you wanted to lie with me? 'Undiluted and raw'?" You hear him chuckle, but you can't see him anymore, you're forced to kneel, unable to move, so you cannot watch him. Your cheeks flush red – of course you said that, but hearing it from Raphael? Now that he's laughing at you, all of this feels suddenly very embarrassing.

"Come on then, mouse. Let's play a little."

Your body moves on its own once more, as you undress and walk over to the bed, and on your way there you see the devil observe you, gaze hungrily falling over your body as he takes in every last detail: the way your muscles carry your legs, the way your ass moves, the way a small drop of sweat is running down your chest...

Yes, you're hot, everything is very hot, and you're not sure if it's by magic or by desire, or both; as you notice a demanding urge between your legs. You want him to take you, undiluted and raw, you want nothing more. There's only your need for him to touch you, fuck you, come inside of you, and then fuck you again; and you moan in frustration as all of your thoughts turn into aroused visions of Raphael using you to his liking.

A smell of sulfur and burned ashes reaches your nose and you see that he shifted into his devil form. "Come", he says, and pleasure washes over you without warning, pulling you under in such force you wail, and the devil watches you come apart from his will alone with an interested expression. You're barely riding out your high as he enters you, cock stretching your walls, his ridges adding to the sensations, and you've barely processed what is happening as he starts slamming into with such force you start to sob.

Everything is pleasure, you are hopeless, desperate, with no room left for any will, any thought, beyond the lust that is about to take over your entire life. Raphael makes you come again and again, letting you scream, stifling your sobs with his claws in your mouth, wrapping his tail around your throat, punishing your entire body, every last piece and inch of it, until you forget your own name.

After years of this (or was it hours? Minutes?) he retreats from you, cum dripping out of your holes, down your stomach, and chest; bruises and scratches decorating your skin, and you know you are forever changed.

Raphael chuckles when he sees you, and you can hear his mockery through the mellow sound.

aghfdsfd sry about the infodumping but i havr to get tgis out of my head hc that ink has a kind of a fixation on naming?? him naming his brush ,the doodlesphere and giving people nicknames kinda?? something something about his abandoned AU not havign a name... something about his last words being not watnting to b forgotten. wanting to be someone.. somethin about names n identity sjhjgf also uhm i just learned that it's actually like. confirmed that he's the one who put all those buckets in the doodlesphere. and also ink doesn't consider himself a Sans bc of his lack of a universe. uh mirror room. apparently its implied that the reason he doesnt liek that room is bc. Ink couldnt tell that they're the original or just one of the many reflections/imposters. since he's the only Ink who doesnt have a soul and doesnt remember jack shit ab his past.(kinda outdated but makes sense. that room was made official around that time where the fact that ink not having a soul is considered vry niche info iirc? somewhere around early 2017)

no Anon you’re onto something with the naming thing.

I think it’s fascinating that Ink, should this be true (which it seems very plausible to me), extends this need to be someone, to have an identity, to others. In a similar way to how they might subconsciously extend that feeling of no universe deserving to be left behind, in that both stem from themself, yet he can’t help but fulfil that desire through other people. Really shines a light on the side of Ink that “isn’t completely selfish”, to put it in words I remember from one post by Comyet.

I always had a feeling, like a headcanon, that Ink would feel separated from his Sans identity, or, well it would probably be more like a role or title to him, rather than a name or someone he is. They left “Sans” behind with _____tale (something he doesn’t even remember). Though, it’s interesting that he still carries over some sans-like traits, like puns/pranks (though more frequent and intense pranks than a regular Sans would pull), and the creation of their own personal Gaster Blaster companion and forming bones out of ink. And there was the sans-like sweater in their old design (something I like to think they still hold on to, even if he doesn’t wear it anymore)

I should check Comyet’s blog to see that lmao guess it probably wasn’t purely just a hc after all.

THE PART ABOUT THE MIRROR ROOM IS FASCINATING THOUGH! Now that you mention it I think I remember a post like that, again looks like I need another trip through the Inkechos tag 😅. But still!! I wonder how Ink would feel about the mirror room now, if his dislike was based around how all the other “hims” had souls and he didn’t, now that that’s changed and it’s actually the Inks with souls who are the outliers (shout out to FTFO!Ink). Would they take joy in the fact that they’re not alone? Or would it still feel, weird and uncomfortable somehow? Perhaps serving as another reminder of his emptiness deep down, and so they still avoid it even though the circumstances in the fandom have changed. I know that whenever I RP my version of Ink meeting other variants, he’s always very interested to see new versions of himself, so maybe it would just be like that! Who knows! Well, Comyet does, but I’m not her 😅.
