Sour Diesel

Coming in at 18.95% THC with a total of 20.269% cannabinoids, this is a strain that will mollywhop the hell out of you if you're not careful. Sour Diesel is a cross between Chemdawg and Super Skunk. I would say it's a mid, definitely not top shelf but it is an enjoyable strain if you don't like to be couch locked.

It helps with depression, pain, and stress.

Terp Profile

Caryophyllene is a spicy, peppery terpene that may have anti-inflammatory benefits. It is the most dominant terpene in Sour D, followed by Myrcene and Limonene which give this bud a gassy, skunky, lemony smell and taste. It's got a potent, dank smell so be sure to use a sploof if you're going to be smoking in an apartment or trying to stay incognito.

Effects

This is a strain that will make most people want to clean your house and be active, do things like play video games, and pretty much anything else requiring focus. For me, since I have ADHD this strain puts me to sleep unlike the Mimosa. The Mimosa strain didn't put me to bed, but after smoking a joint of Mimosa and a joint of this, I was out and am still about to go back and take a weed nap after I write this.

I definitely vibe with this strain as I'm generally depressed and I don't get nearly enough sleep (2-3 hours) due to my Early Onset Dementia from Huntington's Disease. This and the Mimosa makes me sleep a full 8 hours, then wanna go right back to sleep some more. Wouldn't want to smoke it if I have any appointments or anything though even though it makes me talkative. Strong sativas usually zonk me out. Just depends on the person I think.

Mimosa had a nice balance being a "just right" hybrid, but Sour D has always made me want to nap kind of like Ritalin and other ADHD meds always did.

Final Thoughts

It was definitely enjoyable, I think I'm really partial though to Mimosa so far, I am getting an oz of Lemon Cherry Gelato smalls tomorrow! So I guess I'll update you next on that!
