Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow DHC, 1968, by Mulliner Park Ward. A Rolls convertible that once belonged to British actor Sir Micheal Caine, is to be offered at auction. It was Caine's first car which he bought new in 1968. Caine couldn't actually drive so had to employ a chauffeur to ferry him around. He kept the car for 2 years before selling it to a famous London restauranteur, Jack Leach, who kept the car for 43 years until his death in 2013. Subsequently the car has undergone an extensive restoration to return it to its original 1968 state. The estimate is £100,000 - £150,000 and the auction will take place one day after Caine's 90th birthday
