Daytime Disneyland trip was a success (in more ways than it sounds, can't believe I got home that late in one piece). Did not catch Mando & Baby this time but that's fine, I saw them last December and that was a magical experience. Toontown is open again, which was great. Rise of the Resistance is a fucking amazing experience with multiple moving parts; I was really impressed and really wished I was more invested in the ST, but I would be doing an all-nighter if I started down the path of venting my frustrations with it so let's not. The ride was amazing but I hate that it comes with a $25USD price tag for the fast pass. The other two rides that make you pay extra for the fast pass are Toontown's Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway (very similar to the Resistance ride) and California Adventure's Radiator Springs Racers. Hurts my soul since I was there for the age of the free fast passes and took advantage of that to ride Space Mountain one billion times. THOSE SURE WERE THE DAYS.
Needed the next day to recover and also catch up on some WAY overdue tasks in a web browser game, but I will get to the asks from Wednesday soon. Seriously. I will. I swear.
I have safely made it home from Kyle and watching RoTJ. It was of course, the 'updated' version which just...I hate it. I dislike the unnecessary early aughts special effects but I think my biggest grip is George Lucas has deprived an entire generation of the Yub Nub song.
It makes me sad there are people out there who have never seen the OG trilogy. I will forever treasure my box set that has the original and the updated versions because NGL I tend to default the the originals just because that's what I grew up with. And because it has the Yub Nub song.
Also? Watching this makes me want to re-read the X-wing novels again and maybe actually pick up Squadrons and finish it. I was thinking about trying to complete my latest playthrough of Fallen Order and realized I never actually finished the Squadrons campaign which...I mean what campaign really?
I also got hit with a couple of forgotten fic ideas I'd had like...years ago that I might try and work on. One is a smutty Boba/Luke and the other would be a softer Wedge/Luke piece. The second I need t percolate the idea a little bit more but I feel like the Boba and Luke idea shouldn't be THAT hard to do? Right? ahahahahaha she says right before regretting every life choice she ever made.
blech okay it's 1am I am wiped so I'm headed to bed. I will edit and post the bonus chapter of Seeds in the morning/afternoon whenever I wake up.
omg no alarms to bother me? Not having to wake up at 6am?
I’m ready to relive the dramatic climax of the classic Star Wars trilogy with this 807-piece LEGO Emperor’s Throne Room Diorama! ⚡
This model is packed with authentic details, including the Death Star window, rotating throne, display consoles, and minifigures of Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Emperor Palpatine. It even comes complete with a plaque featuring Luke’s famous line from Episode VI (“I am a Jedi, like my father before me.”) as well as another with the Return of the Jedi 40th anniversary logo!
